"Is something wrong dear? You haven't said a word since we left the farm." Rarity asked giving Big Mac an odd wink. Big Mac let out a nervous laugh.
"Nnnope" Big Mac replied. Rarity tilted her head and shrugged.
"Very well, if you don't want to talk about it I'm not going to try and pry it out of you." Big Mac let out a sigh as Twilights castle door came into view. Outside was Twilight welcoming Rainbow Dash inside as Rarity and Big Mac made it the door she gave them a smile as they entered.
"Morning girls just follow Rainbow Dash into the meeting room." They both gave a nod and dis as they were told. As they entered the room Big Mac sat away from the others to avoid any unnecessary conversation. He was starting to relax until Rarity sat right next to him and leaned near his ear.
"We need to talk after the meeting." She whispered. Big Mac shivered slight as he scooted away a little, only to have Rarity follow his movement. He kept scooting until he bumped into something soft. He turned to see Fluttershy looking back at him.
"Good Morning Applejack, are you ok?" Fluttershy asked slightly concerned.
"Eeyep" Big Mac answered blushing slightly. Even though he was dating Cheerilee he had always had a crush on the cream colored pegasus.
"Oh Applejack stop teasing me, you know how I feel about your brother." Fluttershy said blushing slightly. Big Mac ears perked up at that statement,his blush deepen.
"Are you sure you are ok Applejack your face is all red?" Flutterhsy asked placing her hoof on his forehead. Big Mac relaxed loving the attention he was getting from his long time crush even if it was in his sisters body.
"She is fine." Rarity answered getting between them. "She has been acting odd all morning so don't go thinking she is nervous around you or anything." She sat down giving Fluttershy an unhappy look. Flutteshy and Big Mac looked at her confused from the sudden out burst even Rainbow and Pinkie where starring at them now.
"What's going on over there?" Rainbow asked.
"Oh, um...nothing at all, just a misunderstanding darlings." Rarity answered. She looked down and muttered something that sounded like "Keep clam" from what Big Mac could make out.
"Are you ok Rarity?" Big Mac asked
"I will be once you an-" Rarity was cut off by Twilight entering the room and calling the meeting to order with Spike by her side as usual.
"Thank you for coming this morning. I know not all of us like waking up this early, but I have a favor to ask all of you for. In three days both princesses will be stopping by for a visit to the castle and I want all of you to be here as well. They like me, but I want them to like all of you as well. I feel they don't know you as well as they should so we could all meet here and get to know each other a little better. Can I expect you all to be here?" Twilight asked.
"You sure can!" Rainbow answered.
"I can come help decorate the room, and bake some treats!" Pinkie said with excitement jumping in place.
"We will all help you set up for their arrival" Rarity added as Fluttershy nodded in agreement. Big Mac gave a nod as well thinking Applejack would have done the same.
"Great, I will see you all here bright and early!" Twilight said with a smile as she walked towards Pinkie to talk about what she would make for the event. Big Mac quickly walked out the castle wanting to get back home and try to find out what happened but Rarity dragged him back playfully with some magic.
"Oh, Applejack I believe I told you I need to talk to you after the meeting didn't I?" She asked with a small smile.
"Umm...I really have to get back, Big Mac is waiting for me and I promised him I'd-"
"Now now dear, he is a nice strong stallion I'm sure he can do what is needed to be done by himself. He isn't a little colt or anything. Now enough about him we need to talk about us. I think we should-" She was interrupted by a soft voice.
"Rarity I didn't upset you this morning did I?" Fluttershy asked walking up to them. Rarity turn to her and smiled.
"No dear. you misunderstand. I just um...sat down wrong and it hurt so I took it out on you ,dear. You did nothing wrong, I apologize. Now I really need to talk to Applejack a lone. Come by the boutique later and we cam talk more ok." Rarity explained. Fluttershy gave her a smile as she flew off. Rarity turned back to Big Mac but was surprised to she the they had left.
"Playing hard to get I see very well we will play your little game, but by the time the princesses come you and I will be a happy couple." Rarity let a happy sigh thinking of Applejack as she slowly walked to her boutique ready to sell enough dress to take Applejack out on an amazing first date.
