It hadn’t always been easy for the ponies… even after they were accepted into the United Federation of Planets, many years passed before they were accepted into Starfleet under the Ponies for Starfleet Initiative Program (PFSIP). It was believed the ponies would be too docile when push came to shove, but no one looked too closely into the history of Equestria. Or perhaps there was lots of misinformation about ponies at the highest levels. No one could find the source of the misinformation. Except for the members of PFSIP; they knew the truth... They were there in the beginning. They set the record straight, and ponies were allowed to serve in Starfleet. 

Six heroes of Equestria were among the first to be offered entry into the academy. This is the story of where those six heroes are now…
