"Today is the day." The changeling said. "Today is the day when the animals WILL perish." Chrysalis hissed through her now clenched fangs.
For month's now, ever since her first arrival, the wild animals of southern Africa have fought against the ruler of the changelings, Queen Chrysalis.
But no matter how many battles have been won, no matter how many battles were lost, each side would still grow desperate for the final victory each side craves.
Today however, is the war to end all battles.
Once. And. For. All.
Chrysalis currently stands on top of a boulder, looking towards the vast clearing. Many trees surround the area, standing aside from the soon-to-be memorable battle. While waiting for her opponents to arrive, Chrysalis readies her secret weapon.
"This will surely surprise the fools who dare fight me once again..." Chrysalis thinks.
And surely enough, her enemies slowly make their way over the the changeling. With each animal taking their time to observe her stance and eyes, the animals continue to stride forward with certain ease.
The animals are a group of five. But five will be enough to take down the queen.
These animals consisted of the hippopotamus, who made their way to the back of the pack. The crocodile who went to a fighting stance. The black mamba, who slithered around the group and stopped next the crocodile. The mosquito, which landed on top the jungle kings head. And who other than the lion itself, standing defensely with their team.
"..."
Silence is the only thing that can be said about the stares each side gives. The breeze gently flows agains't The changelings mane. The same flow of air gently carreses the lions mane as well.
Feeling the need to speak up, Chrysalis breaks the heavy wall of the silence that once was.
"So, do you life forms you call yourselves the 'wild animals,' finally give in to your almighty queen?" Chrysalis persuades in a orderly manor.
"Hmph, as if my fierce allies would even think of your pathetic games, Chrysalis." the lion says back to Chrysalis. "You have only caused my country the pain it never wanted."
"That may be so, but you must remember that I solely want to feed off of your sweet, delicious love." Chrysalis speaks with a mocking tone.
"Yes, I remember. But now is not the time for persuading. Now, is the time for you leave our country and never come back!" the lions yells with a mighty roar.
Chrysalis only chuckles.
"I couldn't agree any more!" the changelings now makes a fighting stance. "Ready to be shown who the better ruler around here?"
"I am and always will be the jungle king..." The lion growls with an angry look. "Men! In position!"
The lion's team members go into group position under the lion's command.
"Hahahahaha!" The queen laughs "Do you really think that you FIVE can stop me?!"
"I'm positive..." The lion smirks, looking at a confused changeling. "In fact, I'm so curtain that you'll be left quite squashed."
"Hmm? And what makes you think that..?" the queen wonders.
"Because we can be something that most of you bugs like yourself would be afraid of." The five animals all start to glow in bright colours.
"What?!? How are-" Chrysalis is cut off by the lions roar.
"When you left the atmosphere of your planet and crash landed onto ours, The magic that brought you here was then injected into our bodies." the animals all converge to create one big object.
"What is happening?!?" the changeling yelled out loud.
"Chrysalis, with our sheer power combined with the magic withen, we'll be the most unstoppable force that bugs have ever witnessed!" The light from the animals glow even brighter, causing Chrysalis to cover her eyes and look away.
"Behold Chrysalis! Your newest and deadliest enemy!"
The light finally begins to fade, questioning Chrysalis whether or not to look at her 'newest and deadliest' enemy. When silence shook her thoughts, she peeked through one of her holes that accompanied her foreleg...
Only to find a massive floating bug swatter.
...
That had two big eyes and a mouth on top of the swatter...
...
What.
Chrysalis was left paralyzed by the sight of the infamous bug killer. The sheer size of the swatter questioned whether or not this is real life. But that proved to be very true as the death machine talked...
Yes. Talked.
"We are the most feared villan to have ever laid eyes upon the weakest of insects. And YOU, queen Chrysalis," the 'head of the swatter pointed its head towards Chrysalis's still body. "will be swatter by our raw force of power you fear!"
Chrysalis, who is still paraylized by the presence of the object, was feared beyond belief. The bug swatter, who had killed many of her changelings, has killed thousands her race. And now the same weaon base come to finish her once and for all.
She stepped back, acknowledging her crushing defeat. Literally.
"This is it... I'm done for..."Chrysalis thought through her mind.
But, just as she was about accept her dimise, something told her to not give up, and remember the one thing she brought with her.
"My weapon!"
Chrysalis, now filled with confidance, stood her ground agains't the swatter.
"What's with this new found emotion?" the swatter pondered.
Chrysalis laughs.
"You think that you've won? Well then, think again!" And with that, the changeling queen brought out one of the most dangerous weapons ever known.
The M134 minigun.
The swatter, now filled with to the brink with nervousness, back away slowly from the channeling.
"W-wait Chrysalis! Let us explain!" The bug swatter pleaded.
Chrysalis wasn't having any of it however.
The last thing that Chrysalis said on this day was...
"I like this new weapon..."
