I woke up with my alarm going off. I hit the button to see that it read 7:15 on January 15th. It’s been three months since Twilight came to get Luna and decided to live with us and watch us. The day after she came to live with us, she told us that she’ll be watching and if I do anything that could risk the humans finding out about Luna, She’ll take her back to Equestria. For three months, We’ve been careful, making sure to lock the doors, put cameras up, making sure that our neighbor was inside when Luna wanted to go outside. Also, she grew, and her mane now looks like the night sky. I was thinking about the past when I heard an explosion and gunshots. I bolted out of the room and into the living room. I sighed when I saw Luna on the couch with the headphones on the ground, playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 multiplayer.
I stood there and watched, she wasn’t that great at the game, but she enjoyed. I got her a headset to talk to people for Christmas, and some random idiot was yelling at her so she threw at the tv and broke the mic, so we put it in so we don’t have to hear anybody. I waited for the round to end and said, “Luna, we’ve talked about not having the volume loud.”
Her ears fell as she looked down and said, “I’m sorry, I wanted to play and I forgot to turn it down.”
I sighed, sat down next to her and said as I pet her, “It’s fine, I know how much you like video games, let’s be glad Twilight was prepared for this and soundproofed their room. I’ll go cook some breakfast.” By the time I said that the next match had started, so she didn’t really listen to me. I grabbed the eggs, cheese, tomatoes, green peppers, ham, and carrots. I poured myself a half pound of carrots and ate them as I made the omelets. I only put the ham in mine, and I could tell that Luna knew what was for breakfast since when I looked over, her ears flicked back and she stiffened. She had a small mishap when she tried my omelet. Once I was done with the omelets. I walked up to Luna, tapped her on the shoulder and said, “Breakfast is on the table. Last round.” She nodded but didn’t say a thing. I walked up to the girls’ room and opened the door. Amethyst was on her back, Apple was hugging Twilight like a teddy bear, I didn’t really know if Twilight was alive since Apple had one of her front hooves around Twilight’s neck, but I got my answer when I knocked on the door. Twilight’s horn lit up as she shut the door. I opened it up and said, “Breakfast is ready. You better hurry before I eat yours.”
Twilight opened her eyes and said as she teleported next to me, “Alright, I’m up. You don’t really have to threaten me with my breakfast and just remember tomorrow’s my day for cooking, so don’t try to cook anything before I get up.” Then she headed into the bathroom to get ready
I nodded and headed downstairs. Luna was at the table, eating her omelet. Ever since she grew, and since Twilight showed up, She sat on her coils for her chair. I grabbed my omelet and sat down next to her, We ate in silence for what seemed like an hour, until Twilight, Amethyst, and Apple came into the kitchen. After breakfast, I cleaned up and said as I sat down on the couch, “Luna, do you want to play one round of something before I head upstair to do some work?” She sprung over the table, almost knocking Amethyst out with her tail, and landed on the couch and before she could say anything, I quickly added, “No shooters, I don’t like to be against you on split screen.”
She closed her mouth and thought about it, then she said as she changed settings around and wrapped half of her tail around me, “How about Phantasy Star Online or maybe Gauntlet?”
I smiled and said as I unraveled her tail, “Gauntlet will be fine.” We pick up our wireless remotes and Luna turned on the PS2. it went through it usual start, then we choose our character. I picked the red Jester and Luna picked the Blue Falconess. We played through a few levels and ended at Sky, then I saved and headed upstair.
I spoiled Luna too much. For Christmas, I gave her a tablet, Twilight made it almost indestructible, PS2 with a few games, and some other stuff. I sat down in front of my laptop and open a document and a chat. The chat quickly filled with writers and other people, asking questions on how to go about writing and my opinions on stuff. It started in November, on my days off, I would write my opinion on things, then I accidently sent placed it online. It caught like wildfire, and now people are asking my opinion. One question caught me off guard, “What do fish do you think lives in the lake near you?”
The person mentioned a name, and it’s close to me, but I’m not going to tell the name, privacy and all. I leaned back in my chair, I have my fishing license and I used to fish, but I haven’t in awhile before Luna came to live with me to be exact. Then I got an idea. I wrote the person a message, walked over to my door, opened it up and said, “Twilight, I have a question for you.”
I heard hooves stomping up the stairs, Twilight walked in and said, “What do you want, what is your question?”
I looked at her and said, as I looked over the looked at the calendar, and my license, “How about I take you, Amethyst, Apple, and Luna out of a lake in a few months?”
