Twilight looked around her home, trying to decide what to use her extra magical power for. She thought she could fix the weather, but if Discord was telling her the truth, then Famine would be here soon, if he wasn’t already. “I know I have enough power to fix an entire storm of normal weather, but this…” Twilight looked towards the dark skies. “This is anything but normal.” She turned from the window of her bedroom, seeing the book she had gotten from the Royal Archives laying on her bed. “I wasn’t able to get all the answers from Discord because of what happened, so maybe…” she muttered to herself, before opening up the book. 5/8/11 Atax did it. He was able to reach his peak, and became something known as a draconequus. From what the creator has told us, he can now use and master a new magic unknown to us before – chaos magic. It makes me wonder, what other magics are out there that we don’t know of yet? Celestial made a huge deal about it. She was so happy for him, and even asked me to distract him so she could plan a surprise party for him. Distracting him was worth it, because the party was amazing. I guess names must be important to dragons, because Atax had an announcement for us. He made some long, dorky and drawn out speech about how he is now a new being, and told us that since he is a new being, he decided to change his first name. Chaotic Entropy is his new name. I’m so proud of him. We all are. But that was only the first announcement of the party, because not long afterwards, Celestial stepped up for another announcement. During their training, Celestial and Chaotic’s relationship had deepened. We all knew they were already dating, especially with how often we could see them trying to sneakily steal kisses from eachother while we weren’t looking. Turns out, they’ve decided to get married! If Celestial and Chaotic can get into a relationship, I can too. I’ve made up my mind. I’m going to tell Shaded how I feel. After how he saved me yesterday… I have to do something. Twilight closed her eyes, imagining Celestia dating Discord, and could honestly picture it. Celestia loved playing pranks on others, and the whole of Equestria knew about her fondness of sweets. Now that she knew where that fondness came from, it saddened her somewhat. “They were all friends…” Twilight muttered, thinking back to Discord’s story the other day. “Discord said he wanted advice about Celestia. He must miss her a lot, but surely she knows that it wasn’t Discord, but War who had taken over Equestria… right?” Her mind flashed back to the Gala, when she had talked to Celestia. ‘ANYTHING THAT USES DARKNESS IS A MONSTER.’ ‘DARKNESS IS EVIL, TWILIGHT. You must not let it deceive you!’ Twilight shook her head for a moment. “Yeah… I can see why remaking Discord’s friendship with her would cause huge problems. But I still have so many questions, and not enough answers…” 10/21/11 Today was supposed to be a happy day. The creator is dying. She’s been sick the past few months, getting weaker and weaker but we never realized… Celestial and Lunar are heartbroken. I can understand why; she was their mother. Celestial and Chaotic had their wedding anyway, so that Celestial’s mother could take part in it. She insisted they continue with the wedding despite her health. Afterwards, the creator asked for Shaded to see her. I already know why. It’s his job to send the dead on their way, and knowing how she was feeling… The creator held a meeting. The final meeting with her. We were all to say goodbye to her, because it was her time to go. I doubt I’ll ever forget her last words. “A god cannot exist in the world they create. During this time… all of you have become the best of friends. I’d call you my own family. Please remember, it’s up to the six of you to do what’s right in this world. Harmony must continue to exist.” At this, she nodded her head at Shaded, and an eclipse began. As quickly as it had began, she was already gone. The book she had always been holding – The Element of Harmony – then started glowing. Six pieces flew from the book, and wrapped around each of us. The Element of Harmony, the thing that we bound ourselves to, had now linked us with various jewelry. We were the Element of Harmony, a group that protected the harmony that the book had to offer the world. Now however… we are the Elements of Harmony. It’s up to us to continue our creator’s story. However… I don’t think Celestial will ever forgive Shaded for sending her mother to peace. “That… explains a lot.” Twilight whispered, closing the book for now. “Celestia watched her own mother die, and with no one to truly blame for it, she blamed Shaded since he sent her away.” She sat back in her bed, letting all of the pieces fall into place. Sure, there was more that needed to be found, but she had a good idea she knew where this was going, if what she saw today had meant anything. She gazed out her window, letting the growing feeling of dread build inside of her. *Sweet Apple Acres* Applejack stood in her home with Eclipsal, both looking out at the frost covered harvest. “Ah reckon the apples in the barn should be fine, but ah dunno about how long they’ll handle this for.” Applejack muttered to herself. “Need me to bring in the apples? I’d be more than happy to if it’d help.” Eclipsal asked. “Nah it’s alright – besides, you gotta rest up. Y’all did an awful lot of fightin today. You still gotta heal.” She said, placing a supportive hoof on his shoulder. Eclipsal gave a remorseful glance at her. “I suppose you’re right. Twilight thinks these horses are after me, and if the rest of your harvest gets hurt because of me… I don’t want this winter storm to hurt you or your family’s livelihood.” Applejack smirked, shaking her head. “Come on now, partner. Ya can’t always be blamin yourself for everything that happens. It’s those darn horses that are the problem here, not you. We’re you’re friends and will be by your side, no matter what.” Eclipsal nodded, a smile beginning to appear on his face. “You’re right, and I’m sorry. But I should probably head off to bed. Strangely enough, I don’t think anything on me is too badly hurt, but I do feel exhausted. See you in the morning?” Applejack nodded her head, giving a warm smile. “See ya in the mornin’, sugarcube.”
