A few days passed since the dream and Shadow Wolf couldn't get anymore happy. Twilight, went on with her lessons with Shadow Wolf and Princess Celestia. What the two little ponies didn't expect, was Celestia wanted the two ponies to have one day together. Shadow Wolf didn't look happy about that, but Twilight would do anything for Celestia.
Half-way into the day and Twilight was non-stop talking about her brother and the lessons they had with Celestia. Shadow Wolf started to get board and Twilight didn't see that. Once he had enough, he jumped on Twilight making her scream.
"What the heck Shadow Wolf!"
"Would you shut up? I get it! 'Princess Celestia is great!' " Shadow Wolf said in a mocking tone. Twilight, who didn't take that so well, got annoyed very fast.
"You don't know who your talking about!"
"I do know! I'm talking about Princess Celestia!"
Twilight got Shadow Wolf off of her and started to fight with him. Princess Celestia over heard their fight and went inside the room they were in. Shadow Wolf stopped talking the moment he saw Celestia, but Twilight didn't. She didn't even know that Celestia was in the room.
"You never know when Celestia could banish you!"
"That's enough Twilight Sparkle!"
That wasn't Shadow Wolf that said that, it was Celestia. Twilight stopped talking, Celestia saw that Shadow was crying, yet Twilight knew that he was faking it. Or she thought he was, until he ran out of the room. Celestia gave Twilight a mad face and ran out of the room, hoping to catch up with her first student.
After thinking about what she saw, Twilight also ran after Shadow Wolf. She passed his father and mother talking and passed her own family. She found Celestia and Shadow Wolf talking about something, as Twilight got closer, she heard something that she didn't think she would hear.
"Princess, I feel like Twilight doesn't really like me...."
"Shadow Wolf, I know that she's doesn't. But in time, she will."
"Hope so Princess."
Twilight watched the scene for a bit longer until, she left. Shadow didn't think that she would be that mean to him, after all, she did say some mean things to him. It wasn't his fault that he didn't give any love to Celestia like Twilight. All Twilight did was talk about how great the princess was, she didn't even give any love to the night.
CELESTIA'S POV
I kept hearing that Morning Night and Flower Shine's son didn't get much sleep at night. He was either up and looking at the moon or reading books about the night and the moon. I knew that he was a night pony, a pony that Luna wanted to see and get to know. After a while, I saw him getting more good at his spells.
Twilight, on the other hoof, was a different story. She wanted to know all kinds of spells and she didn't want to practice any spells she knew already. Whenever I saw her doing a spell and wanted to show me, I saw that Shadow Wolf was doing something else. Another spell I didn't know.
He said that he wanted to show me and Twilight soon, I was glad. But Twilight wasn't. I kept on asking her what was wrong, but she didn't tell me. I knew that one day they would Elements of Harmony, Twilight as the element of Magic and Shadow Wolf as the forgotten element. The Element of Forgiving. It was lost millions of years ago, now with Shadow Wolf around, it would return.
"Okay! I got it! Princess, Twilight! I can show you now!" Shadow Wolf came running up to us.
"That's great Shadow Wolf. Twilight, let's go."
We followed Shadow Wolf to the.....room that belonged to my sister. I didn't think he would show us here, but how did he know that this room was even here? When he said that he was going to perform the spell, Twilight sat beside me.
We saw Shadow Wolf float up and start to glow, he made a shadow of a wolf appear on the moon. When he was done, his flank started to glow. We all looked at his flank and saw his cutiemark. It was a shadow of a wolf in front of the moon, the wolf moon cutiemark. He was the element of forgiving.
SHADOW WOLF'S POV
Finally! My cutiemark! Yes! I know that Twilight got her cutiemark when she joined Princess Celestia's class, yet my cutiemark is cool! I bet my mother and father are going to love it.
I found my parents talking outside in the garden, I ran up to them and began to talk my heart out.
"Wow there sport! Clam down and then tell us."
"Mom, Dad! I got my cutiemark!"
My parents were shocked, but I could tell they were happy. My dad picked me up and started to spin me around, my mom laughed. I loved my parents more than anything! I hope that Twilight and Princess Celestia are happy for me.
THIRD PERSON POV
As the day passed, Shadow Wolf became more worried about the spells coming up. But he knew that the spells would be helpful later in life. Once each class was finished, he spent time with his mother and father, when he was with his father, he would try on his father's helmet. When he was with his mother, he would help with the flowers. There was one thing that was making him be mean to Twilight........
Nightmare Moon. She kept on making him believe that she was going to make the day more popular than the night. And that didn't fit well with him. Could Nightmare Moon be telling the truth to him? Or was it a lie?
