Miraculous Dragonfly and Draconequus

Chapter 4

Bulk Biceps was no more.

Now he is Stone Heart.

His eyes glowed, causing the dozens of statue ponies to come to life, frightening every pony around Canterlot as they started to reek havoc.

"Rainbow Dash?"

Rainbow paused, not knowing what to do. The teacher was calling out names when she landed on her. She blinked dumbly, her classes back home didn't need name calling. She felt a nudge at her hip and turned to Pinkie, who couldn't stop snickering.

"You say 'Here' silly!" Rainbow stuttered as she shot up from her seat, her hoof raised.

"Uh PRESENT!" she said loudly, causing the whole class to snicker. Rainbow blushed as she awkwardly sat back down, Pinkie giving Rainbow a sympathetic pat on the shoulder as Cheerily continued role call.

"Bulk Biceps?"

The school shook before the door broke open, revealing none other then Stone Heart.

"HERE!" he exclaimed in a loud voice, causing all the students to scream in fright. He looked around before his eyes met Fluttershy, who was currently shaking in absolute terror. "FLUTTERSHY!!!" he shouted, stomping towards her, unaware that Rainbow slipped out of class. Frozen with fear, the yellow pegasus didn't have time to run away as she got picked up in one of his hoof. "L-let go of me B-Bulk!" she screamed, shaking in his grip. The rocky stallion shook his head.

"I'M NOT BULK ANYMORE!!! I'M STONE HEART!!!" Fluttershy shrinked at the loud voice, different from the white pegasus she knew. Tears started to form in her eyes.

"W-Why are you doing this?" Stone Heart grinned.

"SO YOU AND I CAN BE TOGETHER!!! FOREVER!!!"

"Daddy!! The monster is back!!!" Stone looked down to see Trixie under a table with a phone to her ear. I am NOT a monster!!!

"YOU!!!!" He lifted the table, causing Trixie to drop her phone in fright. Using his other hoof, he grabbed Trixie. Since his two front hooves were occupied, he was forced to walk on his hind legs. But because of his wings for balance and additional magic from King Umbrum, he was able to walk no problem, he was just a little bit slower. He walked to the wall before kicking it, causing it to break and leave a hole big enough for him to get out of. He jumped out and started walking toward the center of town, Canterlot tower, with the two mares screaming for help in his hooves.

Rarity leaned in the hole, watching him leave. This was the perfect opportunity to see Dragonfly and Draconequus in action! She turned to Twilight, who was hiding behind a desk. "Come on darling, lets follow him!" Twilights eyes widened as she shook her head. She messed up one time, she was not going to mess it up again.

"Oh no, you go! I'm going to find myself a safe place to hide!" Rarity gave her an incredulous look.

"Darling, you are going to miss Dragonfly in action!" she pleaded, wanting her friend to be there with her. Twilight looked at Rarity, then at her bag. Quickly, she grabbed it and gave it to Rarity.

"You and Dragonfly would both be better off with out me!" Rarity raised an eyebrow before sighing.

"If you say so." she turned around and ran off to catch up with Stone Heart, not taking the bag with her. Twilight began to panic.

"Wait! Your bag!" she groaned before following her. Canterlot needed a Dragonfly!

"My first day and I don't make it pass roll call!"

Rainbow opened her bag to let Discord out in the locker room. She was certain no pony followed with all the Stone Heart business going on.

So much for a normal life...

Discord chuckled as he flew out, shrugging his small shoulders. "A day off, now that's what I'm talking about!" the kwami leaned back, ready to relax. Rainbow shook her head, smirking. There wasn't time to relax.

"Oh no no no! We've got homework to do!" She puffed out her chest, showing off her necklace. "Discord, Chaos out!" Discord got transformed in the tornado once again, causing Rainbow to transform once again to Draconequus.

Ponies ran in fright as Stone Heart walked in the streets, slowly heading to Canterlot tower. Both mares were struggling to get free from his hoof, one of them containing his akumatised ball of paper. Trixie stopped struggling to glare at the large pegasus.

"You have no idea who you're struggling with! My daddy, the mayor, will bring the police, the army, the cavalry,..."

"And don't forget the super heroes!"

All three looked up to see Draconequus flying above them, hitting Stone with her candy cane baton, and landing in front of them in a dramatic pose. Unfortunately, the hero forgot that it got bigger when it gets hit, which is exactly what Stone heart did with a large roar. Draconequus winced.

"Oh no... My bad." Trixie groaned loudly, glaring at the 'so called' savior.

"Super incompetent you mean!" she shouted back. Stone Heart scoffed, a smug grin on his stoned face.

"HA! YOU WANT CAVALRY?! WELL HERE IT IS!!" Soon, the dozens of stone statues from before came running towards them and circling the now nervous super hero. "SEIZE HER!!!" he shouted, causing all his minions to attack. Draconequus dodge as best she could, jumping left to right with pause. Stone Heart gave one last scoff at the distracted hero before walking away with his two captives. Fluttershy looked up at Stone, her eyes full of fear and worry.

"Bulk! Where are we going?" Stone Heart didn't look down, nor corrected her. She refused to call him by his new name. He kept his eyes straight ahead, toward his destination.

"TO DELIVER A MESSAGE!! THEN WE'LL BE BROUGHT TOGETHER FOREVER BY A PRETTY BLACK BREEZY!!" Fluttershy couldn't help but tilt her head in confusion. A pretty black Breezy? Trixie groaned in his hoof.

"Ugh, all this lovey-dovey stuff is making Trixie sick!" she complained, sticking her tongue out in disgust. The rock pegasus glared at her.

"DON'T WORRY YOU MONSTER, I'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU TOO!!!" he said, causing Trixie to shrink in his hoof.

Rarity was getting close, she just knew it. She ran as fast as she could before quickly hiding as saw Draconequus fighting a bunch of Stone Heart knock offs. She smiled giddily as she took pictures. Draconequus dodged a car being throw at her, panting hard.

"If you can hear me Dragonfly, I could really use some help!!" she yelled before dodging another blow. Rarity looked around, confused.

"What is she waiting for?" she whispered to herself, looking around for her new idol.

Twilight was running out of breath as she turned the corner before skidding to a halt. She saw Draconequus fighting alone, out numbered and Rarity running. One of the Stone Hearts took another car and threw it at the hero, only for her to dodge once again, but the trajectory sent it flying to Rarity, who started to run away. Twilight was frozen, feeling helpless as the scene before her started to unwind, almost in slow motion. Thinking quickly, Draconequus threw her baton, causing it to change angle and fall in front of Rarity, trapping her but not crushing her. Rarity screamed, and the hero went to help, only to be grabbed by the Stone Heart who threw the car.

Twilight dropped the bag, still frozen in fear. She could hear her heart as it pumped loudly in her ears. She saw her partner, struggling in his grip. She saw Rarity screaming for help as she tried to escape the car. She didn't know what to do! The stress kept pilling up, and all she could do is watch. She couldn't do anything! She knew she couldn't be a hero! How could she let this happen? She felt so weak! This was all her...

Just believe in yourself!

She paused, her breath hitched slightly.

Just believe in yourself!

Spikes voice replayed over and over in her head. It was almost as if he was right next to her. She looked once more at Draconequus and at Rarity, but instead of feeling helplessness, she felt courage. There was still hope, if Twilight couldn't fix this, then Dragonfly will!

I believe in myself!

She reached down in Rarity's bag and took out Spikes box. With out a moment of hesitation, she opened it, took out the ear rings and put them on. They started to glow,and soon a purple ball of light came out of them to reveal Spike floating in front on her with a huge grin.

"I think I need Dragonfly!" Twilight said, causing Spike to give out a cheer.

"I knew you'd come around!" Twilight gave him a nervous look.

"W-Well, I'm still not sure I'm up for this but," she took a deep breath and her nervous became one of determination. "Rarity is in danger! I can't stand back and do nothing!" She flexed her ears, causing the ear rings to shine in the sunlight.

I believe in myself!

"Spike, Claws on!" Spike gladly entered, causing Twilight to transform. She wasn't going to admit it, but she almost missed the wings on her back. Using the yo-yo, she threw it around the car and pulled, causing a small gap big enough to free Rarity. The white reporter quickly ran out before it fell back against the wall. Rarity looked up in awe to the one and only Dragonfly.

"You can't stay here, it's too dangerous!" said Dragonfly, grabbing Draconequus baton and flying off, after the Stone Heart group and her partner. She flew, catching up quickly. She jumped off one of the heads, off the wall of a building, before flying above the Stone Heart with the closed hoof. She threw the baton in it.

"Draconequus! Extend it!" she commanded. The hoof opened, causing Draconequus to fall out. She landed roughly on the ground in a slight daze. A yo-yo was quickly wrapped around her waist and pulled her up before a Stone Heart would've stepped on her. Draconequus blinked before looking up to see Dragonfly perched on top of a lamp post, giving her a small smile. She thought her mask might catch on fire by the heavy blush.

God she is so hot!

"Sorry I was late." said Dragonfly. Draconequus retracted her baton and placed it back in her belt. She smirked as she looked at the upside down Dragonfly.

"My lady, haven't I told you that you turn my world upside down?" she said before winking up. Dragonfly paused before giggling at the awful pun.

"Oh you're quite the jokester aren't you?" she asked, causing Draconequus to smile wider. However, their moment was cut short when all three Stone Hearts growled at them. Dragonfly groaned. "But your comedic timing needs work, we need to " Draconequus opened her wings to fly but was yanked by Dragonfly to the roofs. Dragonfly took back the yo-yo and flew off, Draconequus right on her tail as they hopped roof to roof. Draconequus looked back as she saw the Stone Hearts become smaller.

"Hey! Aren't we going to take care of them?" she asked, but Dragonfly shook her head, her eyes forward with determination.

"No! If we want to save them all, we go to the source!" Both of them landed and Draconequus gaped at the sight in front of her. A large crowd surrounded the Canterlot tower where the original Stone Heart stood in the center of the tower with his two victims. "That one!" Draconequus turned to look at Dragonfly, who stood boldly, looking ahead. Draconequus blushed again.

Hot AND smart!

Stone Heart growled as helicopters flew by. The other Stone Hearts joined the original, surrounding the Canterlot tower. Mayor Filthy Rich was below, using a megaphone to talk.

"I demand my daughters safe return!" his voice amplified. Trixie struggled in the hoofs rock hard grip, wanting to be with her father.

"Daddy!!!" she whined. Stone Heart rolled his glowing eyes before smirking, lifting her closer to his face.

"YOU KNOW WHAT?! YOU'RE WELCOMED TO HER!!!!" He leaned his arm back before throwing her. She screamed as she hurdled to the ground at rapid speed. The crowd gasped, too slow to react. Trixie put her hooves together, praying to Faust at rapid speed.

"HelpTrixiepromisetobenicetoeveryponyandsaypleaseandthankyou..." her prayer was cut off inches from the ground as two clawed hooves caught her. Trixie opened her eyes to see Dragonfly. Trixie flipped her mane, trying to recompose her composure. "Trixie didn't promise." Dragonfly blinked in confusion.

"What?" Trixie got out of her grip and ran to her father, who happily returned the hug.

"My little princess!" The chief, still in a sling, was once again standing on top of a car. Seeing the girl was safe, he gave the guards the okay.

"We're clear to attack!" The guards prepared their spells, only to be stopped by Dragonfly.

"Wait!" she exclaimed. "Don't attack them! You know it'll only make it worse!" The chief scoffed, glaring at the hero.

"We have a new plan, unlike you! Move aside and let the pros do their thing! You already failed once!" Dragonfly gasped, taken aback. The confidence she had before was slowly dying. She did mess up the first time. Who said she isn't going to again?

"He's right you know." she said turning to Draconequus, who looked back at her with shock. "If I captured Stone Heart's akuma the first time around, non of this would have happen!" she placed her claws on her face in shame. "I knew I wasn't cut out for this job!" Draconequus blinked in shock before she softened. Who knew the girl she admired how low self esteem issue? If anything, it made her cuter in Draconequus eyes. She placed a comforting talon on her shoulder, giving her a encouraging smile.

"No," she said, startling Dragonfly out of her self pity. "he's wrong because with out you she wouldn't be here" he nodded to Trixie, who was still hugging her father. "and because us, they wouldn't make it and we'll prove that to them!" she turned her back, looking at her right in the eyes. "Trust me on this! Okay?" Dragonfly blinked a few times, trying to process everything she said. She had a point didn't she? She did save Trixie! And she hates Trixie! But it felt good! She liked saving ponies! So what if she messed up one time? She is now going to fix that mistake! She looked up at Draconequus with new found confidence and nodded.

"Okay!" Both of them turned as they heard hacking. Stone Heart seemed to have something in his throat, because it looked like he couldn't breathe as he continue to hack and cough loudly and painfully. He crouched down as he gripped his chest before leaning back and finally coughing up a large swarm of black Breezies to fly out of his mouth. Getting oxygen back in his body, Stone Heart black out of of exhaustion, falling on his back with Fluttershy still in his hoof. Every pony gaped in shock as the dozens of black Breezies swarmed together to reveal the head of a large black head with a curved horn.

"PONIES OF CANTERLOT, LISTEN CAREFULLY! I AM KING UMBRUM!" Both Dragonfly and Draconequus looked at each other then back at the flying face.

"King Umbrum?" they both asked in unison.

"DRAGONFLY! DRACONEQUUS! GIVE ME THE DRAGONFLY EAR RINGS AND THE DRACONEQUUS NECKLACE! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE TO THESE INNOCENT PONIES!" he said mockingly before pausing as he heard something.

Clapping.

There was many things the ponies of Canterlot expected from the new heroes.

What they didn't expect was for Dragonfly to clap.

Neither did King Umbrum as he looked down with a confused frown. Dragonfly was sitting as she clapped before getting off the ground and walked toward him, a smug look on her face. She put herself down for too long now, and thanks to Spike and Draconequus, she is going to to prove it! Not only to Canterlot, but to herself as well.

"Nice try King Umbrum." she said coolly. "but we know who the bad guy is! Let's not reverse the roles here!" she stood tall and proud in front of the tower and him. Even though he was much larger then her, she felt big. "With out you, none of those innocent victims would be transformed into villains!" She now knew, it was not her fault, but his! "King Umbrum! No matter how long it takes, we will find you! And you will hand us your Miraculous!"

Using her magic, she took off her yo-yo, spinning it. She opened her wings and started running before taking off with one target in mind. To destroy King Umbrum. "Time to purify!" she shouted before she flew up like a rocket and caught dozens of black Breezies in her yo-yo, causing King Umbrum to shout in agony. She bounced off the pillars of the tower, rebounding off of them as she caught more and more of the Breezies. The whole time the King shrieked he became smaller and smaller before she caught the last Breezy and landed in the center of the tower. She turned around to face the awed crowd, knowing that this was broadcasted live on TV.

"Let me make this promise to you! No matter who wants to harm you, Dragonfly and Draconequus will do anything in our power to keep you safe!" She grabbed her yo-yo in her claws and traced finger across it, causing it to open. She raised her arm and dozen of multi color Breezies shot out of the heart shaped yo-yo. Ponies all over Canterlot stared in awe before cheering. As ponies celebrated, Draconequus stared up in awe.

Hot, smart AND brave!

Her heart pumped faster as she blushed once again at the alicorn above. Before, she was confused about these feelings, but now she knew the truth.

"Wow!" she said in amazement. "Who ever she is beneath that mask, I love that mare!" She was in love! And one day, she will love her back.

King Umbrum growled in pure rage. He failed, AGAIN!!!

"That's the problem with superheroes!! They're too..." he growled once again. "heroic!!!" he spat the word. Angerly, his mask glowed once again. He had one final trick up his sleeve.

Stone Heart! the voice appeared once again in Stones head, causing to wake up from him drowsiness. They're trying to take your loved one away from you! You must snatch their Miraculouses so that they can be powerless against you! Stone Heart glared.

"OKAY KING UMBRUM!" He quickly got up, Fluttershy still stuck in his hoof. She screamed in fright.

"Help me please!" Both Dragonfly and Draconequus landed in front of him, causing Stone Heart to snarl back at them.

"YOU WILL NEVER TAKE FLUTTERSHY AWAY FROM ME!!!!" He turned and jumped high, grabbing hold of a support beam before climbing the Canterlot tower. "COME WITH ME MY STONE BEINGS!!!" The rock creatures that surrounded the tower started climbing as well, freaking out the crowd below. Draconequus looked over the ledge to see them approaching before gasping and turning back to Dragonfly in a slight panic.

"We're surrounded! What do we do now? We can't attack them!"

"Yes, but we know where the akuma is!" she responded, turning to Stone Heart as he climbed up higher and higher. Draconequus looked up as well before seeing what Dragonfly was seeing.

"Yes, in his clenched hoof! The one holding Fluttershy with!" he turned back to Dragonfly expectantly, seeing if she has a plan. " So...?" Dragonfly pondered.

"So we know he's in love with her..." Then it hit her, she knew how to defeat him! "That's it!" she turned back to Draconequus, an excited smile on her face. "We don't separate Stone Heart and Fluttershy, we bring them closer together!" she sighed blissfully, "They're made for one another!" she winked at a confused Draconequus. "They just don't know it yet!" With out waiting for a response, she ran to the edge before flying up. Draconequus paused, staring at the retreating figure going up.

"Umm, I'm not really following you but" she shrugged, a goofy grin on her face. "I guess I got to trust you. Something tells me that this is how it's going to be on here on out." and she was totally cool with that. She opened her wings and quickly flying up as well, following Dragonfly before catching up. Soon they passed Stone Heart, who was trying to shoo off helicopters and landing at the top. While Dragonfly was at the tip top of the tower, Draconequus landed close by under her on a small platform. Seeing Dragonfly above her, Fluttershy cried out for help once again, shaking more then before.

"Help! I'm afraid of heights!" Stone, hearing the voice of his beloved, looked up as well to see Dragonfly as well, before frowning.

"Don't worry!" Dragonfly called out, cupping her muzzle with her claws. "Everything is going to be alright!" Angerly, Stone Heart roared, causing the helicopters to back off. Draconequus winced, her ears ringing, before jumping in fright as the stone army caught up with her. She dodged a swing before adjusting herself, baton in claw.

"How are you planning to get them closer then they already are?" she shouted up to Dragonfly. The purple heroine smiled down at her, clenching her claw in determination.

"By using our powers!" she called back, before grabbing her yo-yo and trowing in the air. "FLAME ASSISTANT!" she cried out, activating her ability. The yo-yo spun quickly and glowed with green flames, making an object in the process. Once finished, the yo-yo died out and the object fell to her. Dragonfly blinked in surprise at the object in her claws. "A parachute? What am I supposed to do with this?" A scream broke her out of her thoughts as she looked down to see Draconequus getting quite a beating. Draconequus grabbed a support beam and flipped up, making sure not to hit any of the monsters.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" she called up again, getting tired of dodging. Dragonfly nodded as she put on the parachute.

"We'll find out soon enough!" she said, before turning to Stone Heart. She took a deep breath. Lets do this! Spinning the yo-yo, she aimed before throwing it to him. It wrapped around him and his hoof that held Fluttershy tightly. "His hoof!" she called out to her partner. "Get ready!" Getting a good grip on the string, she pulled her yo-yo, causing his hoof to go closer to Fluttershy, causing them to kiss on the lips. Stone Heart froze before accidentally letting go of Fluttershy in shock. Fluttershy screamed, too afraid to fly, and grabbed on to his hoof with dear life while the akumatised object fell down. Draconequus jumped off the tower and soared to the ball of purple paper. With her candy cane baton, she used it like a bat and his it, causing it to go back up to Dragonfly. She opened her wings and stopped herself from falling.

"Home run!" Dragonfly joked, grabbing the ball and crushing it, causing the black Breezy to fly out. "No more evil doing for you little akuma." she traced a finger on the yo-yo, opening it. "Time to purify!" She was about to catch it this time when Stone Heart slowly disintegrated, revealing Bulk Bicep once again. Now the spell was broken, both Bulk and Fluttershy fell to their doom below. Dragonfly gasped, conflicted on what to do. She looked up at the Breezy, then down to the two ponies too scared to open their wings. Don't think, just do! She opened her wings once again and dived down. "Draconequus! You catch Bulk!"

Draconequus looked up t the large pegasus, knowing she wouldn't be able to catch him and stay flying. She looked at her baton, then the tower, getting an idea. "CHAOS CLAW!" his necklace glowed and powered his lion paw with destructive magic. She stuck the baton in the tower and used her power to stick the baton to it. Stretching her talon out, she grabbed Bulk around the waist while holding on the baton, stopping his fall.

Dragonfly flew past them before reaching out and grabbing Fluttershy. She quickly turned around and threw her yo-yo up and catching the Breezy before it flew to far. "Gotcha!" Quickly, knowing she still had to get used to flying and couldn't hold Fluttershy while doing so, she tugged on her sting, opening the parachute. Draconequus stared fondly at the purple with green poke doted parachute as as slowly lowered itself to the ground. Seriously, how can you not love this mare? Even though Draconequus loved the spot light, she would gladly let this mare be leader of the group just so she can be with the one and only Dragonfly.

Both her and Fluttershy landed on the ground safe and sound. Dragonfly got up and opened her yo-yo, releasing the now colorful Breezy. "Bye bye little Breezy." she said as she watched it flutter away. She grabbed the parachute and threw it in the air. "Miraculous Dragonfly!" she called out, causing the parachute to explode into dozens of beautiful purple dragonflies in a green flame. They flew all over the city, taking away all the destruction that happened in the fight disappearing and turning the stone followers back into the ponies they were before the cities own eyes.

"Whoa!" Both Fluttershy and Dragonfly turned to see Draconequus and Bulk Biceps starting around in awe as Draconequus helped Bulk walk. She looked at Dragonfly with a huge smile. "Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"Yeah." she said in awe. "It's so beautiful! It's amazing! It's Miraculous!"

How many times is he going to fail?!

But it didn't matter.

Sooner or later, he will get what he wants!

"This is just the beginning Dragonfly! You and Draconequus may have won this battle but I will win the war! I will get your Miraculouses! I will get ultimate power! And then my secret dream will come true!"

And he will make his dream a reality, no matter what it takes!

Even if it kills him.

The police soon started cleaning up the barricades and started walking ponies to the ambulances. Dragonfly looked at the lyric sheet in her claw before looking at Fluttershy and Bulk, who were standing awkwardly together in silence, before walking up to them with a small sly smile on her face. She placed another claw on Bulks shoulder, catching both of their attention.

"I think you two have things to talk about." she raised an eyebrow at Bulk and nodded her head to Fluttershy. "Hmm?" Bulk eyes widened, a heavy blush appeared on his face. He stuttered, looking away as he tried to come up with words. Dragonfly chuckled before giving the sheet to Fluttershy. "I think it would help if you read the lyrics to Bulks song." she said as she walked away. Fluttershy read the lyrics as Bulk watched her anxiously. Soon, a large smile appeared on her face as she blushed slightly.

"Wow," she said quietly gushed, looking up at Bulk. "it's really beautiful! It's a shame you can't hear them when you scream... um, I mean sing." However, Bulk heard the mistake. He sighed, looking away in shame.

"It was scary wasn't it?" he said quietly. "Is that why you left?" Fluttershy winced, nodding slightly. He looked back at her with a sorrowful, yet hopeful look. "I'm sorry, I'll try to be gentle..." Fluttershy looked taken aback before smiling widely once more. She leaned in and hugged him tight, hiding her blushing face. Bulk, who didn't expect this from the normally shy mare, blushed more then he's ever blushed before.

Dragonfly, who was watching it all with Draconequus, gushed. "Aw! They are so made for each other!" Draconequus smirked devilishly at her, reaching her talon out over Dragonfly's shoulder.

"Like us too..." and she would've continued flirting, in her necklace didn't start beeping, telling her she didn't have much time left. Dragonfly dodged the arm and grabbed it with a smirk of her own, pointing at her necklace.

"Uh oh, you see that? Time to split." she turned around and started walking away, leaving a dumbfounded Draconequus. Nopony has ever turned her down before. Dragonfly flicked her tail at her, catching her attention once again. "See you soon Draconequus." she said cheekily, and all Draconequus could do is wave dumbly at her with a goofy grin.

I am so in love right now...

She bowed at the retreating alicorn as she flew away. "Can't wait my lady." she said before flying home herself.

"So by the time I got to Canterlot tower it was all over!" Rarity complained as she and Twilight entered the school. She sighed dramatically. "So depressed!" Twilight couldn't help but chuckle at her friends dramatics.

"Don't worry, you'll get your scoop eventually." Rarity frowned with determination.

"You're right! Next it'll be 'Dragonfly, an exclusive interview!'" Twilight pretended to fawn, as if it was too much to handle.

"Ooh! Sounds exciting!" she said. Rarity gasped as she got a new idea.

"No wait, even better! Finding out who's really under that mask!" Twilight snickered.

"Uh huh, good luck with that one." she teased.

Rainbows car pulled up in front of the school. She and Raven sat in the back, listening to Sombra who was on speaker phone.

"You disobeyed me Rainbow." he said, causing her to look down in shame. Now she'll never be able to have a normal life. "Take a look at that school." She turned her head, probably being the last time she'll see it, before turning back to the phone.

"Yes father..." she mumbled.

"You will, I say never, be back there again."

"Father pl..."

"With out your body guard." Rainbows eyes went wide in shock. "He will drop you off and pick you up every day." Rainbow gasped as she smiled happily. "Raven has offered to make you a new schedule." he turned to her fathers assistant, who quickly turned away, not meeting her eyes. But she didn't care, she's going to a normal school! "You will be continuing your music, Griffonian and fencing classes and your photo shoots." Rainbow nodded her head at Raven.

"Thank you Raven, thank you father!" she exclaimed before grabbing her bag and quickly getting out of the car and into the school. This was the nicest thing her father ever did for her!

Both Twilight and Rarity walked into class and was about to go to their seats when Twilight paused, getting an idea. "No. Wait." she said, stopping Rarity as well. She walked up the steps and pointed to her old seat. Rarity chuckled before following her. Both of them placed their bags on the table and sat down.

"Umm, you're in the wrong seat." they both turned to see Trixie standing at the front with Moondancer, who was carrying all her stuff. Trixie pointed at the seats in the front row. "Go on, get lost!" Normally, Twilight would've accepted and went back to her seat, wanting to avoid confrontation with Trixie. But now, after saving all of Canterlot from a love sick rock beast, Trixie was merely an annoyance to her. She smiled smugly down at her.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good ponies do nothing." she said, quoting Rarity from a few days ago. Trixie scoffed, flipping her mane.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Twilight stood up, but didn't leave, she stayed right where she was.

"It means that I'm not putting up with your crud anymore Trixie. And neither is any pony else around here!" she pointed down below to the empty seats. "So take your attitude and go on! Get lost!" The class room burst into laughter as some pony finally stood up to Trixie. Trixie gave her a hated glare before stomping over to her new seat like a small foal. Moondancer gave a glare as well, but not as intense, as she joined Trixie and quickly sat down next to the seething unicorn. Twilight sighed as she sat back down, feeling proud of herself. Rarity patted her back in pride, happy that she stood up to Trixie as well.

"Good job!" she said proudly, causing Twilight to grin. Rainbow Dash walked in the class room and nodded to Pinkie who waved enthusiastically back at her. Rainbow was about to take her seat before noticing that Twilight now sat behind her. Still feeling guilty about yesterday, she gave her a small wave, but stopped as Twilight huffed and turned her nose away, clearly still mad at her. Rainbow sighed as she sat down. Pinkie leaned in and nudged her.

"You want to make friends right?" she asked, causing Rainbow to nod. "Then go talk to Twilight, you know about the chewing gum." Rainbow looked slightly nervous.

"But what should I say to her?" Usual she let other ponies do the talking, all she had to do was smile and look awesome. She wasn't the best with words. Pinkie rolled her eyes, as if it was obvious.

"Duh, just be yourself silly!" Rainbow smiled back at her friend, thankful for the boost of confidence

Be yourself... I think I can do that.

By the time school finished, it was pouring rain outside. Twilight groaned as she waited at the steps of the school. She usually liked walking to school, but times like these she wished some pony could pick her up. As she waited for the rain to calm down a bit, Rainbow came outside with an umbrella. She gave her an awkward smile.

"Hey?" she said, but Twilight turned away once more. Rainbow sighed as she turned, seeing the car out front. She opened the umbrella and took two steps before pausing.

Be yourself.

"I just want you to know that I was only trying to take the gum off your seat." she looked into Twilights eyes with a sincere look. "I swear." Twilight couldn't look away from her beautiful eyes. "I've never been to school before, I've never had friends. It's all sorta... new to me." she admitted, giving Twilight a small but stunning smile. For some reason, she felt like she could believe her, that she wasn't just Trixie's popular stuck up model friend. She believed she saw a mare who struggled to fit in. Almost like you. said a voice in her head. Twilight couldn't stop herself from blushing.

Rainbow turned around completely and extended her hoof, giving her the umbrella. Twilight paused. She looked at the umbrella, then to the sincere look she was giving her. Her heart skipped a beat at the kindness she saw. She could definitely see why she was a model. But the looks alone weren't attracting Twilight, but the look she had, only for her. She wondered what else did this mare kept secret, and for some reason, wanting to find them out for herself. What felt like a eternity, but was only a few seconds, she slowly extended her hoof, too dumbfounded by Rainbows eyes to use her magic. Twilight reached out, but paused at the handle when she almost touched her hoof. She hesitated before grabbing the umbrella, her hoof brushing against Rainbows, causing a shiver to go down her spine. She took the umbrella, but since she was not used to holding it with her hoof instead of her magic, it to closed on her. There was a small pause before Rainbow burst out laughing. Not in a mocking way, but in a gentle way. To Twilight it was music to her ears.

She her cheeks turned crimson as she slowly lifted the umbrella off of her and gave the laughing Rainbow a sheepish look before giggling herself. Rainbow sighed before turning to her car. "See you tomorrow." she said with a small chuckle. Twilight sighed as well before remembering how to use words. She lifted her hoof but didn't wave as her sheepish smile became a nervous one.

"Uh huh! See you toma... toro..." she was surprised to see her hoof was up, but also that she couldn't speak properly. "Whoa," she mumbled to herself. "why am I stammering?" Spike flew out of her purse with a cheeky grin.

"Maybe I have an idea." he said. Twilight blushed at the look before turning away from him. Spike chuckled before flying to the other side of Twilights face and hugged her cheek, giving her a small nuzzle and causing Twilight to smile as she nuzzled back. As Rainbow walked closer to the car, Discord flew in front of him with a cheeky smile of his one.

"First day of school and we already have two love birds." Rainbow rolled her eyes and scoffed.

"What ever, she's just a friend." and then she paused, her smile growing bigger. She made a new friend! "A friend." she whispered to herself. She gave one more look at Twilight before chuckling, a small dash of pink appeared on her cheeks before she walked into the car, Discord flying back in her bag.

Twilight looked up to see Rainbow got into the car and closing the door before it sped off down the street. She gave one more blissful sigh before taking the umbrella in her magic and started to walk home with Spike who flew back in her purse. Unbeknownst to the two secret heroes, Zecora and Philomena were both close by watching. Zecora nodded with a satisfying smile on her face as the fire bird landed on the zebras shoulder.

"Excellent choice master." she said, pleased with her masters choice. Zecora gave another nod as they watched the purple unicorn walk home with a skip in her step. She chuckled

"Those two are made for each other"
