Miraculous Dragonfly and Draconequus

by Macmeg13

Chapter 3

One whole day.

It took one whole day to cause this much havoc.

Dozen of ponies, frozen in stone statues all around Canterlot. The park, the streets, even some near Canterlot tower, the largest tower in Equestria. Normally, ponies would walk around on a beautiful sunny day like today. Do some shopping, take in the sights, go for walks, but now every pony is hidden indoors, scared that they might be next to freeze in stone. It's surprising that the school was even open today! Twilight and her father were both in the kitchen, cleaning up from breakfast, as they watched the news.

"Beings are scattered all over Canterlot, and for the time being they show no signs of movement." said the news anchor, showing different stone statues in different poses. "Police have corned off the areas." The Mayor appeared on screen, the chief of police in the back round, arm still in a sling. He was talking to a large group of press.

"We won't stop until we find a way to bring these people back to their normal selves!" he announced, the chief nodding in the back. The earth pony then smiled apologetically at the audience. "But we're not making much head way..." The news anchor appeared on screen once again, this time with a picture of Draconequus and Dragonfly.

"Canterlot are relying on our new guardian angels, Dragonfly and Draconequus, to save us all. Our lives depend on them." Twilight froze, her breath hitched. Our lives depend on them. Over and over did that line repeated in her head. How can they rely on her? She messed this up to begin with! How can they still trust her, when she can't even trust herself at the moment. She practically jumped when she felt a hoof on her shoulder. She turned around to see her father Shining giving her an encouraging smile.

"Look, I know how upsetting and scary this is, but don't worry Twily. We've got two super heroes looking after Canterlot!" Twilight couldn't help but flinch, but he didn't notice as he continued. "And the best way of helping them is to show them we're not scared, because we trust them!" Twilight shook her head, she felt guilty enough and even though she knew her father was trying to help, it only made her feel worse!

"But what if Dragonfly fails?" she muttered, looking away from him. He looked at her and gave her a large grin, levitating a rolling pin.

"Then I'd come and save you!" he swung the rolling pin around in his magic, as if like a sword. "Super Baker to the rescue!" he said, posing dramatically. Twilight couldn't help but chuckle. He always knew how to cheer her up. She leaned in and hugged him tightly.

"Thanks super dad!" she said, giving a kiss on the cheek before climbing up her room, getting ready for school. Shining Armor smiled, happy to cheer her up. Twilight quickly got her bag ready and gave her mane one last look over. She was about to leave when she paused at her dresser, more specifically her drawer. Spike... She sighed, still feeling guilty. She hesitated for a moment before opening the drawer and taking out the box. She levitated a small purse and placing it inside before closing it. She didn't have to be a hero, but she knew who would.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7:35

Raven hummed as she turned away from the clock. Rainbow Dash was late for their morning lesson. "What's she doing?" she muttered to herself, before going up to investigate. She opened the door to her room, expecting her to be asleep or something, only to find it empty. "Rainbow Dash?" she called out, only for silence to answer her. She gulped, Sombra was not going to like this....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"And you didn't see her leave?!"

Raven and the minotaur shook their heads. After looking all over the house, it was clear that she wasn't inside any longer. Though she escaped many times before, this was one of the many rare moments when she left unnoticed. They both knew that he preferred Rainbow indoors, but of course the pegasus never liked to stay still. Currently, he was scolding the two at the bottom of the stairs, fury clear in his eyes as he raised his voice.

"And if anything happens to my daughter, you'll be held responsible!!" They both nodded, Raven already having an idea on where she might be.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rainbow flew as quickly as she could. Thanks the Discord, she managed to escape the house but knew they would catch on soon. She just hopped she made it to school before they did. Discord flew out of her bag to fly in front of her face.

"You're such a strange kid." he said shaking his head slightly. "Who would want to go to school when you can stay at home all day!" Rainbow shook her head as she continue to fly, smiling slightly at his confusion. Yes Rainbow didn't like school at all, but that wasn't the point. She just wants to fit in!

"You don't get in Discord! I've had enough at being shut up at my home by my dad. I want to meet ponies and make friends! Go to a normal school like every pony else!" Suddenly he groaned dramatically, slowing down and causing Rainbow to stop.

"I'm feeling weak!" he exclaimed, placing a paw to his forehead. Rainbow rolled her eyes, knowing where this was going. She walked up to him and reached into her bag.

"You know what's strange?" she asked as she took a hoof full of Cotton candy from a small bag, only to get it stuck on her hoof. She groaned, trying to shake it off but it wouldn't budge. "The fact that all you eat is sticky pink, teeth rotting, fluffy Cotton candy!" she said as Discord licked the sticky sugar off her hoof in the matter of seconds. She placed it back down only to get it stuck on a leaf. She groaned once again as she tried to shake off the leaf from her hoof. "And then I have to be super sticky 24/7!" she huffed as the leaf finally got off of her hoof. "That's strange" she concluded, glaring at Discord. He smiled smugly back at her.

"If you want to be able to transform into a super hero, then sticky candy is the deal my friend." he crossed his miss matched arms together. Rainbow groaned and rolled her eyes once again, knowing he had a point. He flew back into her bag and she continued her way toward the school.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rarity and Twilight were talking as they walked into the school. However, as soon Twilight mentioned Dragonfly, Rarity went total fanfilly on her as she took out her phone to show her a website.

"DragonBlog!" she exclaimed, bouncing slightly in place. "Bringing you all the latest news about our latest super hero!" Twilight stared at the screen with awe, Rarity made a website on Dragonfly? "DragonBlog, how amazing is that?" she took the phone back to look at the comments. "Look how many views it's got since I've posted the video!" Twilight stopped walking, the pressure was getting to her head.

"But," Rarity paused, noticing Twilight wasn't following her anymore. "why do trust Dragonfly so much? I mean, the stone beings..."

"She'll going to handle them." she interrupted, confidence in the hero. Twilight sighed, shaking her head. No I won't...

"But what if she's not cut out to be a super hero, even though every pony says she is." Rarity blinked, confused.

"What are talking about darling?" she asked before gasping leaning into Twilights face. "Oh wait, I know what this is about." Twilight gasped. Is she really that transparent? Rarity leaned back, giving her back her personal space, and placing a comforting hoof on her shoulder. "You're scared." Twilight inwardly sighed with relief. "Don't be darling, I've seen her with my own to eyes!" she said excitedly, fluttering her eyelashes as if proving a point. "Dragonfly is a true super heroine! She's going to protect us all!" She smiled, looking right at Twilight. "I believe in her." Twilight couldn't help but a small smile to grow onto her face. I believe in her. Her words repeated in her head, almost as if they were meant for her.

Rarity turned and started walking to class. Twilight looked at her friend then bag at her purse where Spike was. Rarity is perfect for Dragonfly! she thought before catching up with her.

"So you really don't remember anything?"

Both Rarity and Twilight paused as they saw Bulk Biceps sitting on a bench with a crowd of students. Bulk shook his head, getting annoyed with all the questions.

"You were totally going ballistics." said another student, practically gushing at him. "It was SO cool!" she said. Dumb Bell shoved past the crowd, glaring at the large white pegasus.

"You were seriously trying to crush me dude!" Bulk sighed, letting his eyes wonder before connecting with Fluttershy's. They both paused, Bulks heart beating quickly. After a small pause, she quickly hid behind her long pink mane. Bulk looked away as well, toward the ground.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't myself." he said once again, tired of repeating himself and for also not knowing the answer to the question. They heard a scoff, all heads turned to Trixie who was leaning against a wall, chewing gum.

"Once a monster, always a monster." Bulk growled at the blue unicorn. I am not a monster! He got up angerly, causing the crowd to back away in fright. He stormed off, away from every one. "Don't let the door hit you one the way out!" she called over with a singsong voice. Rarity turned and glared at Trixie, who was smiling smugly at her own joke.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The window opened once more, revealing King Umbrum and his dozens Breezies. One of them which was trapped inside his cane. He grinned, his canines glinting in the sunlight. He could practically feel the anger coming off of Bulk.

"Yes, feel the burn of those words!" he said to himself, looking down to his original akuma. "Lose your temper Bulk Biceps! Your akuma awaits you!" He tapped his cane, causing the Breezie inside to flutter.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rainbow panted as she neared the school. She was almost there! She landed and ran up the stairs. She was about to enter the building when she heard her name being called out. She froze, knowing the voice anywhere.

Raven got out of the car in a huff, slamming the door behind her. "Rainbow Dash don't do this! Your father will be furious!" The blue pegasus glared at the earth pony.

"Tell him you got here to late!" she said before giving her a pleading look. "Please!" She turned and ran inside. Raven sighed before entering the car once more. The driver gave her a side ways look, causing her to roll her eyes.

"I'll handle it..." she muttered. He simply shrugged before driving away.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"How could you say that to Bulk?" Rarity exclaimed, trying hard to keep her composure. "You are the real Stone Heart!" Trixie laughed haughtily. She looked over the crowd, smirking still.

"So Trixie is the one that broke the chiefs arm huh?" She walked over to Rarity and got in her face, causing her to take a step back. "Just because your footage of those lame super heroes was shown on TV doesn't mean you have to get all high and mighty." She finished her sentence by blowing a bubble with her gum, causing it to pop on her face. Rarity gasped, taken aback, before leaning back on Trixie.

"You little..." But Trixie interrupted her by acting scared.

"Look out! She's angry! She's going to ruin her mane and turn into a huge muscly monster!" Rarity's glare intensifies before huffing, turning her nose in the air and walking away in seething anger from the smug magician and her little side kick.

"Hey Trixie."

Every pony turned at the new voice to see an unimpressed Rainbow Dash, clearly seeing everything. Trixie gasped excitedly.

"Dashie! You came!" she squealed happily before running towards her and giving her a huge hug, making the model very uncomfortable. Every pony gasped at the celebrity in the room, causing a buzz to go around the school. All of them close by ran to her, begging for an autograph.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unnoticed to every pony, Twilight followed Bulk to the locker rooms. She went in and looked around, trying to find the white stallion. Surely he wasn't too hard to find. She walked to the direction of his locker and and turned the corner before pausing. Bulk was sitting in front of his locker, hunched over with headsets on his ears, listening to some very loud music. She chuckled before walking over and sitting next to him, placing a hoof on his shoulder to get his attention. He was slightly startled, and turned to see Twilight there giving him a small smile. He reached on top of his head and took off his head sets. He sighed and gave his full attention to her. Twilight was always kind to him, so he knew she wasn't going to mock him like Trixie did.

"You know, you should tell Fluttershy how you feel." she said, causing him to blush. He stuttered and looked away.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about." She rolled her eyes and nudged him slightly.

"Come one! I saw the way you look at her." Bulk gasped slightly, looking back at Twilight, his blush getting redder. Was he really being that obvious? Who cares? Its obvious she's scared of you now! He turned away from her again, glaring at the flour bitterly. Twilight shook her head.

"No! No negative emotions Bulk!" Bulk glared at her, taking it the wrong way. Twilight, catching on what she just said, shook her head again with a apologetic grin. "What I mean is, be positive! I'm sure she has feelings for you too!" She leaned in closer to him. "Go talk to her."she whispered, causing Bulk scoffed, turning away once again. What's the use?

"I'm no good with words anyways..." he muttered. Twilight gave him a pitiful look before smiling encouragingly.

"Who needs words?" she said shrugging. "You could draw her a picture, send her flowers..." Bulk perked up a bit.

"I could write her a song?" he asked, turning back to Twilight. Her smile widened.

"That's a great idea! What mare wouldn't want a song written just for her? Go for it Bulk! And uh..." she hesitated before adding. "stay positive!" He nodded, excited, before running off to write Fluttershy a song. Twilight sighed and gave a small chuckle, feeling a bit of pride in herself.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

King Umbrum slammed his cane angerly on the floor, causing it to echo in the small room. The anger he was feeling from Bulk is now gone! And he was almost completely vulnerable, just a few more seconds at he would have attacked his prey.

"No! The emotions! They're fading!" he growled loudly, almost like a wild animal. He was SO close!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even though Rainbow was getting tired of the modeling, one thing that she really enjoyed was the fame. He father told her time and time again that she should be modest with her work, but she couldn't help signing autographs or showing off. One of the perks of being famous she guessed. She happily signed autographs as she walked to class, almost forgetting that Trixie was leaning against her. Almost. She would love to shrug her off right now but she couldn't because of three reasons.

1) She had a reputation of being polite and reserved in public,

2) Trixie would most likely make a huge scene and

3) She was her only friend growing up.

They both walked in the class, Trixie walking ahead and pointing at the front desk next to a pink mare who was currently playing air guitar, head sets on her head. "This is your seat Dashie!" she said, smiling smugly. "Trixie saved it for you, it's right in front of Trixie!" Rainbow forced a smile and nodded politely at her.

"Thanks Trixie." she said before sitting down. She walked by and sat down next to the energetic mare, who took off her head sets to greet the new comer. Rainbow gave a larger grin and extending her hoof. "Hey, Rainbow Dash." she introduced herself. The pink mare blinked twice, looking at Trixie to Rainbow before giving her a small pity look.

"You're friends with Trixie then huh?" she asked, nodding behind her. Confused, she turned around to see Trixie and Moondancer at the seats next to her. Trixie opened her mouth to take out the gum with her magic, before handing it to Moondancer who placed in on Twilights seat. Rainbow frowned.

"Hey!" she said standing up. "What's all that about?" Trixie gave an innocent shrug.

"The brats that sat here yesterday need a little attitude adjustment. Trixie is just commanding a little bit of respect, that's all." Rainbow rolled her eyes and went to the seat, trying to remove the gum.

"Think that's really necessary?" Trixie laughed as she walked to her seat.

"Oh you've got a lot to learn about school culture Dashie." she leaned back and crossed her hooves, Moondancer soon joined Trixie next to her and crossed her hooves herself.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Rarity calmed down, she and Twilight walked to class before it got started. Twilight was almost ready with her decision, she just needed one more thing to be certain.

"Hey Rarity," she started, getting the unicorns attention. "wouldn't you like to be a super hero and go out and fight monsters and villains?" Rarity gasped, eyes sparkling as she grinned widely.

"Of course!" she flipped her mane. "I'm not afraid of any pony!" she the turned back to Twilight with a curious look. "Why do you ask?" Twilight tensed, sweating slightly.

"O-Oh, No reason!" Rarity simply shrugged. Twilight sighed in relief. This was the biggest reason why she couldn't be a hero, all the stress. She went in her purse and took out the box. Spike will like Rarity, probably. Quickly, she used her magic and teleported it in Rarity's bag. She is the best choice... She can just hope Spike can forgive her.

They both walked in and gasped as they saw a blue pegasus.

At her seat.

Putting GUM on it!

Usually, Twilight would've been calm about this, maybe a little angry but who wouldn't? But after the whole Stone Heart, super hero, not super hero, the secrets and all the stress, she wasn't feeling so forgiving right now.

"Hey!" she said, startling Rainbow. "What are you doing?!" Rainbow stuttered, unsure how to react. They both turned their heads when they heard Trixie and Moondancer laughing loudly. Twilight seethed with anger.

Trixie and Moondancer.

Another thing to add to her list.

She took a deep breath before sighing, glaring back at Rainbow. "Okay, I get it! Good job you three! Very funny!" Rainbow shot back up, shaking her head.

"No no!! I-I was just trying to take this off!" the stuttering probably didn't help her probability. Twilight leaned in, her glare darkened. She really wasn't in the mood for excuses.

"Oh really?" she asked sarcastically before bending down at her seat, trying to pry off the gum, which only made the two girls laugh louder. She groaned as the gum wouldn't come off, no matter how hard she pulled with her magic. A handkerchief hovered next to her in a blue magic. She gave a small nod to Rarity before placing in on the gum. She turned back to Rainbow, who was looking at her with an apologetic look. Her face itself calmed Twilights anger to annoyance. "You're friends with Trixie right?" she said, as if stating the obvious. Rainbow sighed.

"Why do ponies keep saying that?" she mumbled, mostly to herself. Twilight humphed before getting up and sitting down, trying the avoid the hanky covered gum. Rainbow sighed once more before turning around and sitting back at her seat. Trixie leaned in, her smug smile still planted on her face.

"See what I mean about respect?" Rainbow rolled her eyes and turned away from her. Twilight frowned at Rainbow once more, but not out of anger, but out of curiosity.

"I know I've seen her some where before..." she felt a nudge from Rarity. She turned to see her phone screen at her. Twilight gasped as she saw a picture of a gray unicorn. "Of course! She's the daughter of my favorite fashion designer, Sombra!" Rarity scoffed.

"Daddy's girl, super model AND Trixie's friend? Ha!" she shook her head. "Forget about it."

"Why didn't you tell her it was Trixie's idea?" Rainbow jumped at the new voice. She turned to see the pink mare sitting next to her, giving her a curious look. Rainbow shook her head.

"I've known Trixie since I was a filly. I know she's not perfect, but I can't just throw her under the bus! She's like my only friend!" Rainbow groaned as she stared at her desk before jumping once more as a pink hoof came into her view. She looked over to the earth pony to see her with the biggest natural smile she has ever seen. A smile so genuine that she couldn't help but smile herself.

"I'm Pinkie Pie and it's time for you to make some new friends instead of big meanies." Rainbow gaped at her before her small smile widened. A new friend! This was so awesome! She extended her hoof and bumped it against Pinkies.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fluttershy left the washroom in a rush, panicking s she saw the time. "Oh dear, I'm going to be late!" She ran to the door before opening it. She was about to run out before she bumped into a big white mass, letting out a small shriek. She stumbled back a bit and looked up to see Bulk Biceps. "B-Bulk." She shied away slightly, not because she was afraid of him, but she didn't want him to see her up coming blush on her cheeks. "You've scared me." Bulk blushed, but his courage didn't waver. Music in one hoof and lyric sheet in the other. Now or never.

"I wrote this for you!" was all he said before pressing play on his phone. However, while Fluttershy was a very quiet pony, Bulk Bicep was a very very loud. And his singing was not exception. Metal rock music came out of his phone, causing Fluttershy to wince, her ears pressed against her head. Then came the singing...

"FLUTTERSHY!!!!!!
YOU SO KIND!!!!!!!
YOU'RE ON MY MIND!!!!!!!"

Fluttershy wilted at the loud noise, barely hearing the lyrics. Can't handling the noise any longer, she did the first thing she thought of.

She ran away.

Bulk stopped as he watched her run away. He looked at his lyric before crumbling it in his hoof and then smashing his phone on the ground, causing it to break and for the music to stop. Silence filled the air he sat on the floor, boiling mad. He put himself out there and for what? For her to be afraid of me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anger.

More anger then he felt from the stallion yet.

Perfect!

"Yes! This is what I've been waiting for! You know the way evil akuma! Track down your pray! Fly away and darken him!" He released the vampire Breezie out of his cane and it flew toward the window, out to Bulk. It flew out and to its host, who was still sitting alone in the locker room, in front of the washroom. He didn't care about class right now, he just wanted to be alone with Fluttershy. The akuma landed on the balled up lyric sheet, causing it to turn purple and posses him once again.

This is your second chance Stone Heart, and this time you'll have extra help! said the voice in his head. No pony will stop you from capturing the love of your life! Just remember, I'll need something in return! Two images flashed in his head.

A multicolored tornado necklace.

A pair of purple with green poke dots ear rings.

Bulk grinned. This time, he will get Fluttershy, even if she's is scared.

She is mine!

He began to transform.
