//------------------------------// // Chapter One: The Unusual Filly // Story: The Artistic Muse // by Compass-Rose-0425 //------------------------------// Ten years later, a filly, by the name of Toola-Roola, was born to Solar Glow, a crystal unicorn with a golden coat, a red to orange gradient mane, golden eyes, and a shining Sun for a cutie mark, and Blank Canvas, a normal gray Pegasus with wings with black tips, a black mane and moustache, green eyes, and a blank canvas on his flank (hence his name). This Pegasus filly had a snow white coat with black tipped wings ( like her father's), turquoise eyes, and a mane with a gradient of black to gray (not unlike her mother's) . She did not inherit her mother's horn or crystal coat, but she did inherit her love of magic. She could actually produce magic from her eyes, but everypony thought it looked creepy, and she didn't use it often (It was also very tiring). She also inherited her father's love for the arts and his passion for creating art. She was an excellent painter for her age, and she won all sorts of art contests. This family lived in the wealthier part of the Crystal Empire, near the Royal family's castle. Toola-Roola even got a chance to visit the castle, where she met Princess Cadence. The two later became good friends. They also found out their birthdays were the exact same day. Twilight Sparkle and her five friends also admired her for various reasons, but mostly because of her magical abilities. But Twilight had not seen such raw talent and power in such a tiny filly. In fact, even Solar Glow said she did not have as much power as her small daughter, and she wasn't even a unicorn. One day, Toola-Roola was trotting around the Crystal Empire. She was looking for ponies to invite to her birthday party. She knew almost everyone, so she hard a long trip ahead of her. She was obviously going to invite Princess Cadence, Twilight, her friends, the other princesses, her friend Starsong. But she invited many others too. She knew it was going to be a great party. But she didn't know it would be her last one for a long time...
