Chapter 29: An Alicorn's Wish

The Fujiyama brothers all led their friends from New Burbank throughout Ponyville, showing them some of the sights that were to be beheld, "This here is Sugarcube Corner," Silver said, presenting them with the bakeshop.

"Looks like a gingerbread house," Eliza commented.

"I think that's how it was built," Raiden replied.

"We don't really know a whole lot about Ponyville, since we've only been here a few days," Heiru added.

"Do you boys know of any place where we can get some new clothes?" Maria asked.

"Oh yeah. Rarity owns a boutique where she makes some of the best clothing we've seen," Icezer replied.

"And could you show us?" Sora asked.

"Yeah, it's over this way," Francisco replied.

Later, as the sun began to set,

After showing what they were shown during their previous trips into town, the Fujiyama brothers finished their tour with Twilight's castle, "This here is the castle of Twilight Sparkle, the lavender alicorn," Silver said, showing them the enormous crystal structure, "C'mon, we should see if they've come up with any ideas," Silver said, as he led them into the castle.

"Are you sure its ok for us to go in?" Lucas asked.

"Don't worry. Twilight may be a princess, but she's a very nice pony," Icezer replied. Walking through the castle, they eventually came across the throne room, where Twilight and friends were pondering on how to help the Fujiyama brother's friends.

"Hey guys, any luck?" Raiden asked.

"Not so far. Most of our plans don't seem like they'll work out too well," Twilight replied. The mutants all saw several papers with plans.

"With the way some ponies in most of the neighboring cities act nowadays, they may not be willing to adopt humans," Celestia added.

"I have an idea," Heaven squeaked. Everyone turned to the little girl.

"Yes? And your idea is?" Luna asked.

"Well, all the other mutants are in need of housing, and they may want to see the world. So I was thinking, why not start a guild?" the blonde girl asked.

"A guild?" Raiden asked.

"That seems like an awful lot of hard work," Twilight commented.

"Well, as Princess Celestia said, if most ponies are unwilling to adopt humans, then why not show them that we're a lot of help?" Heaven asked. The adults and teenagers all thought about it for a moment.

"The plan does have merit, and it would provide each of the mutants the chance to see the world," Celestia commented.

"So, we're going through with it?" Rarity asked. Celestia nodded.

"Alright, then what'll our guild name be?" Carlos asked.

"I thought about that as well," Heaven replied.

"And what name would you suggest?" Eliza asked.

"The guild name should be 'Alicorn's Wish'," Heaven replied.

"'Alicorn's'," Takanosuke started.

"'Wish'?" April finished.

"Not to rain on your parade or anything, but do any of us have any qualities of an alicorn to you?" Leon asked.

"I thought it was a magical name," Heaven happily replied.

"Ok, but where to set up the guild? And who to be the guild master?" Silver asked.

"HOLD ON. I SAW SOME OLD CASTLE RUINS WHILE WE WERE SHOWING OUR FRIENDS AROUND PONYVILLE. MAYBE WE CAN RESTORE IT AS A GUILD?" Echo-Echo suggested.

"That's actually not a bad idea. We've been meaning to do something with that castle," Twilight commented.

"And as for the guild master, I think Silver should have the honor," Simon commented.

"Why me?" Silver asked.

"Well, the eight of you proved you were the strongest mutants among all the ones in New Burbank. And you yourself, Silver are the strongest among your brothers," Simon explained.

"I will talk with the Mayor about it in the morning. Discord, could you provide some suitable arrangements for all the other mutants?" Celestia asked.

"Can do!" Discord replied, teleporting away.

"Would you all like to stay here for the night?" Twilight asked.

"Are you sure it won't be any trouble? We don't want to impose," April asked.

"It's no trouble at all. Besides, I have dinner ready," Twilight replied.

Later, after dinner,

"And here is your room, Naomi," Twilight said, showing each of the mutants to their rooms.

"Thanks you again for having us as guests in your home, Princess, nya," Naomi said.

"You're very welcome. And if any of you need me for anything, my room is down the hall," Twilight said, taking her leave.

"See you guys in the morning," Silver said, as he retreated into his room. The others did the same.

The next morning,

Ponies and the mutants were all gathered in front of town hall, for the mayor had a speech to deliver, "Ponies of Ponyville, I have called you all here today for a very special reason. Princess Celestia, with the urging of some of our newest residents, has decided on what to do with the castle ruins," the mayor said, motioning towards Nyx's old castle, "I now turn over the speech to Silver Fujiyama," the mayor said, before moving out of the way for Silver to walk up to the podium.

"As of today, those ruins will be restored as a guild hall. This guild will go by the name 'Alicorn's Wish'. Your local princess, Twilight Sparkle has informed us about the castles history. Which is why we are going to refurbish the castle as a guild hall, for the greater good," Silver announced. The ponies and mutants all murmured amongst each other, unsure of how to feel, "We understand your concern, but as I said, the castle's reputation is going to be rebuilt as something good. So we ask that you all just give it a chance," Silver said to the ponies and mutants. A wave of silence washed over the crowd, which soon erupted into a wave of cheers from everyone.

"Looks like they're in agreement," Twilight commented.

"Then we should start thinking about how to reshape the castle," Carlos added.

"Leave that to me," Francisco declared, as he made his way to the castle.

"And I've sent an article to every newsprint publisher in the land. So everyone will know of the guild," Celestia added.

"So, how do guilds work?" Toby asked.

"Well, a guild gets requests from all over the land. Each request has a reward, like money, or other types of rewards. Before heading out on a job, a guild member should get details from the guild master. The master then tells that member where they need to go for that particular job. After reaching the destination, the member needs to seek out the client to get details on what the job entails. Once the job is complete, the member gets rewarded for their hard work," Raiden explained, as they made their way to their new guild hall. When they got there, they saw Francisco standing outside, looking pleased with himself.

"Got it done already?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Yeah, it wasn't all that hard. I even went ahead and put in a bulletin board for the requests," Francisco replied.

"Excellent. Shall we take a look?" Maria asked, as they walked into the new guild hall. Inside, they saw that it was like a malt shop. It had an ice cream bar, a jukebox, and a bulletin board, just as the spacial teen said.

"Well, what do you think?" Francisco asked.

"We love it! Its so retro and cool," Icezer replied.

"Oh, and I don't know if you noticed, but I added a café outside, and some dormitories for everyone," Francisco added.

"Well, in any case, the Alicorn's Wish guild is now open for business," Silver declared. Just then, a gray Pegasus with yellow eyes, a blonde mane and tail, and bubbles cutie mark entered the guild.

"Delivery for the guild master!" she called.

"That would be me," Silver said. Ditzy then handed Silver some folders, before taking her leave.

"So, what'd ya get, nya?" Naomi asked. Opening one of the folders, and pulling out a piece of paper, Silver saw that it was a request.

"Man, I knew that news gets around fast in Equestria, but I never knew this fast," Silver commented.

"Well, in any case, you guys have jobs now," Chris commented.

"I'd better get these posted," Silver said, as he took out the requests, and hung them up on the bulletin board accordingly to where they came from, "Ok, so now we can take jobs," Silver said,

"Well, we'll take our leave. We'll see you guys later," Twilight said, as she and the others left the guild hall. Discord then approached the Fujiyama brothers, and Heaven.

"You kids are still up for me adopting you, right?" he asked.

"Of course we are, Dad," Silver replied, as he went behind the counter to get started on his work.

"True, we'll be out on jobs every now and again," Raiden added.

"Well, maybe I can help you kids out around the guild?" Discord offered.

"That would be appreciated, thank you," Silver replied.

"Well, for now, we'll head out on our first jobs," Eliza said, as she and the others, save for Silver and Heaven went to find some jobs. For the rest of the day, each mutant either took on a job, or hung out around the guild hall.
