Ponies in a Half-Shell

Turtle Power

Spike awoke in his bed. A week had passed since the turtles had left and the Kraang had been defeated. The dragon hopped out of his bed and out of his room. Canterlot had the damages from the invasion repaired and everypony returned home. He walked into Twilight's lab, where the alicorn was jotting down notes.

"Morning, Twi." he greeted, the princess never looking up from her research. He waved his hand in front of her eyes, but Twilight did not budge from reading.

"One of those days, huh?"

"Oh..." Twilight noticed something blocking her train of thought, "Spike! What time is it? Shouldn't you be sleeping?"

"It's past 10, Twilight. 10 in the morning. You've been at this all night. C'mon, the girls wanted us to go to a picnic!" Spike said.

Twilight sighed, "Sorry, Spike. It's just... I'm trying to figure out a way to use a Warp Crystal to create a portal to the turtle's world." she revealed, holding up her book with her magic. "But I can't figure it out or how they got here to begin with."

Spike shrugged, "It's fine, Twilight. But you should take a break. Plus, I'm sure Donatello's using the one he has to find a way back here. So, we shouldn't keep the others waiting. They'll be back. That's what Leonardo promised, right?"

Smiling, Twilight hopped from her chair behind her assistant. "You're right. This can wait. For now, we have our friends here, and I don't want them waiting."

"Wow. Did all of that really happen?"

Donatello nodded, "Sure did, April." he answered to the woman sitting next to him. "It was crazy. Luckily, we stopped Shredder before he could destroy Equestria with General Krang, but I know they'll be back. And this time we're keeping things here." the turtles returned back to their normal patrols in New York and Donnie had begun a new experiment within his laboratory.

"So, Donnie. Do you think you'll ever get back there? I wanna see this for myself." April asked.

"I hope so. I have the crystal, and I'm trying to find a way to use Krang technology to create a portal back to their world, but for now it's only a theory." Donatello explained, holding the Warp Crystal from his work desk.

"Man, I would've kicked Shredder and Sombra's butt." Casey Jones bragged, sagging onto the sofa in the turtles' lair. "We got worried after you all vanished for so long. We thought somethin' even worse happened to ya, glad to see that you ended up in a world full of colorful, talking ponies." he joked.

"Heh. Just glad to see ya again, Casey." Raph commented with a thin smile.

"I'm just glad to see you at all. Last thing we needed was to fight Shredder and the Kraang with ya." Casey added.

"We gotta introduce you and April to them. They're actually pretty cool," Mikey responded. "Plus, I bet they can kick your butt since we trained them ourselves."

"I like to see that."

Meanwhile, Leonardo and Splinter meditated across from each other in the training room. "Sensei... Do you think that we'll ever get back to Equestria?"

Splinter opened an eye, "I cannot answer that my son. For now, focus on the present. We shall see where fate leads us. If destiny decides that we shall meet the ponies again, then so be it you can ask Donatello yourself. I do not doubt his experiment. So perhaps that time shall come sooner rather than later."

Within another dimension, Solar walked into an empty castle beyond the Everfree Forest, 'Hopefully it worked. I only have so much time before HE finds out I'm here.' she said, turning her head quickly to make sure nopony was following.

Six pedastals stood in front of her. So far two of them held an object. The first one had a red cap with an 'M' stitched in the center, while the other had a blue helmet. A bright light overtook a third one, this emblem was a red bandana meant to cover one's eyes.

'Perfect. His is indeed the third warrior. Now I must retreat before HE discovers my true whereabouts. Hopefully, I can find the next Warrior soon before this Equestria and all other worlds follow in destruction.'
