Thousands of years into the future, Equestria has become overpopulated, using their advanced technology, the scientists send out cruisers to colonize other planets. Several crews were trained to upkeep these ships, and some to pilot smaller defenders in crews of three. Pony force Gemini was one of these defending crews.
Now, hundreds of years after the first colonization, a threat emerges. Mizar, an insect-like king, is building up mass armies of his people to capture planets, while enslaving all remaining occupants. And there is only one team left to fight Mizar and his minions.

"Hey Vela, could you please review the co-ordinates for the next area?"
"Sure Juno, just give me a moment to calibrate the systems. Something has been wrong with them lately, it's almost like..."
"Like what?"
"Nevermind"
Suddenly Lupus comes bursting into the room, barking wildly
"What is it boy?"
EXPLOSION NOISES
The sound of an alarm fills the room, the twins are confused for a moment but realize whats going on. Running to the armory, the pair exchange glances. They both know that Mizar's minions have found their way on board.
Juno grabs his trusty machine gun, while Vela loads up her plasma shotgun. Once they fit a pistol into Lupus's back mount, they fit each-others side mounts with their respective weapons.
The sound of bullets can be heard, as the pair turn around, they see Lupus standing over a dead ant.
Rushing out the door of the armory, Juno clears the the passageway ahead, with blood covering the walls.
"This will take forever to clean up" Juno chuckles to himself.
The waves of ants seem to never stop, they just keep coming, no matter how many bullets the trio use.
"We have to get out of here!"
"No shit! Got any better ideas Lupus?"
Lupus barks at the two and motions towards the vents. The pair look at the dog,
and once the waves start slowing down, Vela shot open the vent and they all crawl inside.
"Remind me to clean this more often, it smells like Mizar's armpit. haha" Juno just couldn't resist making a joke every now and then.
"Alright boy, where are we going now?"
Lupus barks and leads the two through the vents, into the main reactor's control room.
Juno, being the tech whiz that he is(and also having common sense) speaks up
"Well i know why the automatic defence system isn't working!"
"Why not?"
"someones shoved a cleaver into the control panel."
"Oh."
"Shouldn't take too long to fix, just gotta rewire it.. red to blue... yellow to brown.. aaannd... there!"
Panels in the roof open up revealing machine guns with a roof-fed ammo system and a laser guide and sensor.
The trio hear large amounts of gunfire, before silence. Upon exiting the room, the hallways were filled with dead ants, some even decapitated.
"Hope you got a mop."

The trio return to the control room, Juno repaired the sensors so there shouldn't be any surprise attacks.
Vela pulls out a mop from a side cupboard
"You know we really need to get automatic cleaning, you know, to clean up the automatic defence"
"Nah i think our current system works out fine."
Vela shoots Juno a scowl as she walks off to clean up the mess.
Juno makes himself a cup of coffee, and sits down on the captains chair.
He starts to take a sip when...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
"Ah Celestia damn it now I got coffee all over me. Oh well it can wait."
Juno and Lupus sprint to the source of the scream, hoping Vela is ok.
The site before them made Juno almost throw up.
Vela was lying on the ground, in fetal position, with a huge brownish-greenish ant lumbering towards her with a huge gun surgically attached to his hand.
The ant had the left half of his face blown off, and Vela's mop blocking the barrel of his gun.
"Vela! Get up! Your gunna be like the rest of the ants if you don't move!"
Vela, relieved to hear her brothers voice, quickly gets up, and runs behind the two.
The ant throws an object in his left hand at the trio, but luckily he misses(hes got one eye and half a brain, what do you expect).
Juno looks at the object, immediently recognizing it as the auto defence control panel.
"OH COME ON! Now i have to repair the entire thing?"
The ant removes the broom with his now free hand, breaks it in half and aims his gun towards the trio.
Lupus tackles Juno, which also topples Vela, as the shot passes over their heads, just missing them.
They scramble out of the corridor, heading towards the armory, realizing this thing probably isn't on board for cheese and crackers, they mount their weapons and head towards the escape deck.
The escape deck is a room with three tubes, each elevating its respective pony(or dog) into their ship to escape.
Once in their ships, the trio set course for the first planet on their navigational screen, and just in time too. The ship explodes seconds later, with the ant onboard.
Juno looks out the side window, and sees containers of weapons fly away, towards different planets. Each has a lock on it that can only be opened by a Pony Force standard issue pistol.
Vela looks out her window, but instead only sees her two partners drifting away in their own ships. Wondering if she'll ever see Juno or Lupus again, she slumps in her chair.
Lupus gives a howl, he usually isn't this far away from Juno, but he is a smart dog, and knows he will see him once again.
Juno cracks one last joke.
"At least ill get some peace and quiet."
