Celestia and I sat there in her room while her sister Princess Luna trotted back and forth. She had an angry look on her face, this was a really a displeasing matter for Luna. While we sat there, I remembered what I said to Celestia before we went to Ponyville.
'What's the worst that could happen?'
What the hell was I thinking when I said that. The shit has hit the fan and not only that, but it's being flung all over the place.
“I cannot believe you would do this sister! You know you are not allowed to be with somepony that is not royalty!” Luna said at her sister, Celestia didn't take to kindly to Luna yelling down at her like that. So she stood right up and looked down to her with that 'You did not just yell at me look' Talk about a scary face.
“And who do you think you are, yelling at me!? I am your older sister and you have no right to act this way, let alone come barging in here!” Celestia said back at her sister. I could only sit there and watch as the two yelled at each other. “I am the ruler of Equestria and I believe I am allowed to do as I please! So unless you don't want to stay here in Canterlot, I suggest you leave.”
Luna's eyes widen and her mouth dropped down in a gasp. She growled slightly and then trotted out of the room. Celestia took a few deep breaths and looked down at me. She could tell I was scared by the yelling.
“I... I shouldn't have said that." She paused for a second and leaned down to nuzzle me. “I'm so sorry you had to see that, Tyler. I hope I didn't scare you too much.” She giggled nervously.
“It's fine... I just never seen you like that before...” I wrapped my arms around her in a hug, we both knew this was going to be hell but there was nothing we could do. “What do we do now?” I said to her.
“I will send a few guards to bring Twilight here, she has a lot of explaining to do.” She said looking at me.
“But... how would you do that? Will they still listen to you?” I somewhat feel like that was a stupid question.
“Of course they would. They would never disobey a order from me. I am still the ruler of Equestria you know.” She said smirking at me. Like I said I knew it was a stupid question. “No one is going to make me back down from ruling and being with you.” She said with a smile. I held her close and sighed.
“I love you Celestia.” I said, looking up into her eyes.
“I love you too, Tyler.”
It didn't take long for the guards to go and get Twilight. Celestia was very demanding that they go and get her now. I'm pretty sure everypony here in Canterlot knows about us, but they wouldn't dare question Celestia. Or at least I hoped they wouldn't. Celestia and I waited in the throne room for Twilight to be brought there. There was going to be hell to pay and it wasn't going to be pretty.
Before long, the doors opened up. Four guards walked in, Twilight being in the middle of them all. Celestia had a displeased look on her face as she saw Twilight. She nodded to the guards and they turned around and left, only leaving us three in the room together.
“Princess... I-” Celestia didn't give her a chance to speak.
“Twilight Sparkle! What did I tell you about telling others about this!? Do you know what you have done!?” Celestia said walking up to her, beating down on her with her words. Twilight cowered down, frightened by the Princess.
“We both had put our trust in you with this and you go and tell everypony about us!? You will explain what happened and why you did it, this moment!” Celestia leaned her head down close to Twilight's. Giving her a death stare. Twilight began to get very teary eyed from Celestia being like this.
“I-I-I... Didn't... M-Mean... To...” Twilight said through her tears, she tried her best to not cry, but she couldn't help it. I felt somewhat bad for Twilight, but then again she was told not to tell anyone.
“P-Pinkie Pie... Came in one day while I-I was crying... And I-I tried m-my best to not t-tell her... She Pinkie P-Promised not to tell...” Twilight said, sniffling.
“So you told Pinkie Pie and she went around telling everypony!?” Celestia said, still in her angry tone.
“N-no... It w-wasn't her...” Twilight began to sob more but stopped after a few seconds.
“You told another!? Twilight Sparkle what on earth were you thinking!?” Again, Celestia beat down on her with her words. I know Pinkie Pie and she would never break a Pinkie Promise. So it must have been another pony that did it, but who else could she have told? Fluttershy? Rarity? Wait no, not that bitch.
“Look P-Princess... I was crying one night w-while Spike was trying to sleep...” Right then I thought. 'Aw shit' when Twilight said Spike's name. “I t-told him that it was n-nothing... But... h-he wouldn't let up... So I-I told him... Princess I'm s-so sorry...” Twilight started to cry yet again, but harder this time, feeling that Celestia might banish her.
Celestia's face went from angry to a sympathetic, she couldn't stay mad at her but she surely wasn't going to forgive her so easily. She put her hooves around her and hugged her as she cried against the Princess.
“Twilight, I won't be forgiving you for this anytime soon, but I am sorry for yelling at you so much. This is just a serious matter and now that everypony seems to know, this is going to be harder than it was intended to be.” Celestia said to her, trying to be somewhat comforting after yelling at Twilight.
“So then it was Spike that told everyone?” I asked, walking over to the two.
“Well... he might have just told one other... which would have been Rarity...” Twilight looked up at me, her eyes red from crying. Twilight knew what she did was wrong, and she knew she was going to pay for it. But for now we have other things to worry about. Princess Luna didn't like this and I'm sure there are others that feel the same.
“I'm sure my sister is talking to somepony about this and is trying to figure out what to do about all this. I'm going to have to call a meeting and talk with everyone. I don't want this to get out of hoof any more than it has.” Celestia says to me as she looks down at Twilight. “We'll talk about this later.”
Twilight nodded and sniffled. “Alright... Princess...”
“Tyler, I need to you stay here with Twilight, I'll send a guard for you when I need you to come to me. Even though most of them might know already, we will publicly tell everypony.” Celestia said to me, I nodded to her and sighed.
Before Celestia left to go talk with her sister and the others, I thought to myself.
'Maybe... this won't turn out as bad as I thought... Maybe everything will work out for the best even though things have gone to hell.'
That made me feel a little better about how everything was going. But now there is only one thing I need to worry about. And that was Twilight.
