"Don't Worry Twilight, You'll Always Be My Waifu!"

by Heyah

Don't Worry!

Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst sit at one table together, chanting happily, while Moondancer and Trixie sit at another once, having another happy moment.

At one last table Pinkie Pie and Twilight sit together. Twilight stares at them, like almost in a trance while Pinkie Pie chats away in her usual manor.

Pinkie suddenly cuts herself off mid sentence. "Twilight, you aren't listening to me, are you?" Her mane deflates slightly.

"Uh-huh." Twilight says drearily. She pushes her practically untouched glass of water to the side, as she continues to stare off into the distance.

"And you don't even deny it! I thought after all the friendship lesson, you would think you'd at least learned to at least listen to your friends!" Pinkie tilts her head back and dramatically places a hoof to her head. She quietly hums a overly dramatic tune under her breath.

Twilight turns her head around. "Oh! I'm sorry. You know how I can be sometimes. I should've been listening to you."

Fake tears slide down her face. "And you used to be a pony that was my friend!" She then shakes her head in one quick motion, getting rid of the tears. "It's fine! How's it going? What's getting you so entranced?"

"Well, it's just helped so many unicorns, and I've loved doing it. And all of them seem to really like the results I've managed to achieve. I'm happy to say I've completely changed Starlight Glimmer's life." She pointed at the unicorns out in front her.

Pinkie Pie nods. "Is it all going to your head? How can I help? What's your point?" She moves her head so close to Twilight's that their noses are practically touching.

Twilight gingerly pushes her back. "Well, that's not the problem. But my point is, I thought one of them would like me."

Pinkie explodes into ruckus laughter, almost falling off her chair. She then sits up, gulping for air. "Seriously? How's that a problem?"

"Well.. Uh. Starlight's a student of mine, I can't let my emotions get in the way. I barely know Sunburst, and I don't want to destroy my relationship with him. And my relationships with Starlight and Moondancer are already on shaky ground."

Pinkie leaps off her chair, knocking it down. "Wait! Wait! Wait! C'mon Twi! You'd look so cute with one of them! You all have interests in magic! How could it go wrong?"

"Well," Twilight points at the unicorns talking out in front of her, "well, we're all pretty emotional, I could easily mess up."

"Pff. You could say that about anything!" She pulls a party canon out of nowhere. "If you want to do it, just do it!" She shoots it and confetti falls everywhere.

Twilight spits a piece confetti out. "Well, now that I've gotten everyone together, it doesn't actually seem to be the case. Starlight and Sunburst seem to be a lot closer than I thought. And Moondancer and Trixie are much better friends then I could've ever imagined."

"Well, let me ask them! I'm so curious now! We need to know!" She starts to walk towards them, but Twilight quickly uses her magic to jerk her back by the tail.

"Pinkie!" She hisses. "That wouldn't be inappropriate. Anyways, I just don't want to interrupt them! It'd be rude!"

Pinkie Pie laughs loudly once more. "Oh c'mon Twilight! You're a princess, what's the worse they can do? Sure, that one time Starlight gave you a run for your money, but still!" She then quickly puts a hoof in front of her mouth. "We don't mention that fight, do we?"

"Pinkie Pie.. What exactly are you saying?"

"Silly! I'm just trying to get you to lighten up! Right now you're almost as stern and serious as boulder!"

Twilight chews her lower lip for a millisecond in puzzlement. "Pinkie Pie, have I ever told you that sometimes you baffle me?"

The pink earth pony waves one of her hooves in a dismissing gesture. "Oh Twilight! If you knew how many ponies have told me that, you'd be really surprised." Her expression then becomes a bit more serious. "Oh, and Twilight, if you honestly and truly want one of these unicorns to like you, and it doesn't go well, I just want you to know something. You'll always be my waifu."

The majority of the time, romance isn't on Twilight radar. Sure, she's used to Pinkie's remarks, but never anything this absurd.

And she faints, falling to the ground with a light thud.

Heads turns, ponies stare.

Pinkie turns at the four unicorns, eyes wider than the moon. "Guys! Guys! Guys!" She frantically jabbers in such a way that almost sounds like gibberish. "Pony down! Pony down! Pony down! I think we need a nurse! And a doctor! And a ambulance!"

Starlight quickly trots over to her side (as the other three unicorns follow closely behind), levitates one of her forelegs up, and checks her pulse quickly. "What in all of Equus happened?"

Pinkie seems to be on the verge of tears again. "I mentioned waifus. And love. I might've also almost gotten her to do something she didn't want to do. Oh Celestia, I hope she's okay."

The blue unicorns clears her throat. "Well, Trixie thinks she'll be okay."

Pinkie Pie nods solemnly. "M-maybe we could at least learn one lesson from this. Never mention waifus to Twilight."
