//------------------------------// // ... And what it means // Story: The Unfaithfull // by mr_shimmer //------------------------------// You finally did it Celsestia, you found the source of the chaos. You found me. Before you go around punishing me, let me explain. Not every story ends with a happy tone. Some end with sadness and despair, but here is how this story ends, and how my actions are mostly good. You see Celestia, by changing Rainbow Dash's thoughts a little I did so much more than you would think. Mister Doo, the aspiring mystery author, after being knocked out, and and tied up, realized something important. He needed to stop avoiding his family. He was not the indestructible Daring Do of which he wrote. He was Mister Doo, the aspiring author and agent of D.E.R.P.Y. A few months latter he took an early retirement, and bought a house near Ponyville, so that he could visit his sister Ditzy Doo. While he never really reconnected with his mother, he found comfort in his sister. His partner eventually took his spot, as handler to Rainbow Dash. The criminal hired to make an example of Rarity, made a deal with the prosecution. He helped them discover who hired him, in exchange for a lighter sentence. His employer, Prince Blueblood, managed to avoid prison, but was stripped of all titles. Gilda, former Covert Operative of the Griffin Tribal Council, took her sister away from Equestria and Griffintown, never to be seen again by equine eyes. Ember, a Royal Guard, was shock deeply by Pinkie’s ability to not only spontaneously appear, but to discern her identity despite her enchanted armor. Upon arriving back at Canterlot, she submitted her amour for a full diagnostic, and in the process unveiled a conspiracy to replace her. This conspiracy had planned to release the most ancient, most dangerous, prisoner in Tartarus, Tirek. They would then conquer the weakened Equestria. However, with the disappearance of their most effective asset, and the discovery of their plan, the Griffin Tribal Council’s plan was never enacted. And for the grand finale? Rainbow Dash, after rescuing her friends, was cornered into a confession. While the majority of the seven stood there, Fluttershy spoke up. She confessed to Rainbow that she knew of her family’s business. In fact, she confided that she went to Rainbow’s grandmother for her medical training, and had enlisted as a reserve medic the year that Rainbow left. Twilight was surprised that Equestria even had mercenaries, and latter went into the royal archives to read more on Rainbow Dash’s family history, and dragged Spike along. Rarity admitted that she believed that Rainbow had left out of shame and fear, as she had talked with Blaze before. As her job had taken her to unsafe locations, and Blazed worked for a security company. Pinkie was utterly shocked that Rainbow hadn’t forgotten her. That Rainbow had left from fear of hurting her, rather than just not caring. Applejack remained static, and had little to do with anything. Much to Rainbow Dash’s surprise. You see Celestia, I am not evil, I have reformed. I just see the effects of my actions farther than you can imagine. I knew what would happen when I made that change. I am following my oath.
