As Sunset looks out the window, her thoughts of her and Twilight and their relationship for over the past few months as a couple have been clouding her mind ever since this day, Twilight's Birthday was coming near. She would've been fine just going along to the party but Twilight then asked her to be her special dance for that night. Sunset didn't know what to say then, but she said yes without thinking about it first. What if I mess up a step and ruin the dance? Will she be still wanna be together with me? If she doesn't, what do I do then? Sunset thinking to herself. No Sunset, don't think that way, you have to make this day and this dance worth it for her. Even if I make a mistake she will still be with me in the end. We love each other... don't we? As she was thinking of all this, Rainbow Dash has been looking for a place to park her car that is near their destination.
"Come on Rainbow, hurry up and find a parking place. The party isn't gonna go on till the sun rises you know..." Applejack groans as the others are waiting impatiently as well.
"I know, but I'm trying to find one spot that is the closest to the dam restaurant..." Rainbow said as she kept her vision down the road trying to look for a good place to park."You guys should help too in finding one since I'm apparently I'm the only one with eyes right now ."
"Uhh... Just find a place so that we can walk there. Besides there are so many empty spots near the restaurant anyway, that it wont't take long to get there by foot." Rarity says while putting on her makeup.
"Ironic that you want to walk Rarity. Giving that you always complain at gym glass of your feet hurting while doing laps on the field." Rainbow said while looking at the rear-view mirror, getting a clear image of Rarity pouting at her.
"Your one to talk. You always want to race one of us to each of our classes or any other place we plan to go together." Rarity then grins as Rainbow growls and continues driving.
"Come on Dash, Twilight and the others are waiting for us. It's already been 10 minutes since we got here and trying look for a 'good parking spot'. Let's not miss the birthday party ok?" Sunset says as she looks out the window looking at two kids running along the sidewalk.
"OK guys jeez. Just don't complain of your feet being in pain. Especially with those high heels your all wearing." Rainbow rolls her eyes and sighs as she looks to her right and finds a good enough spot to park. She then turns to it and stops the vehicle. Then all of the girls get out of the car as Rainbow turns off the car and put on the parking brake. Everyone except Rainbow Dash are wearing fancy dresses and high heels while Rainbow went for the skinny jeans and a special leather jacket she recently bought. She never really liked wearing fancy dresses or high heels. She always liked the comfortable and casual clothing she always has with her.
"Thank goodness I saved these dresses from the Fall Formal. They always look fabulous on us." Rarity said happily while adjusting the top of her dress making sure its on correctly.
"I know right?!" Pinkie said while jumping up and down like a bunny, fluttering her feet like wings in the air.
"By the way Rarity, thank you for making this dress for me since I couldn't find one that suits me." Sunset smiled as she look at her purple and orange dress. Even though she loved her leather jacket and jeans, she doesn't mind looking all 'rich' as Rarity would put it.
"No problem dear, now lets go!" Rarity shouts as she pumps her fist into the air.
"Umm.. Ok." Fluttershy barely whispering while everyone else seemed a little surprised on how energetic Rarity looked right now. But they just guessed that it's because of the party that their heading towards
"Alright then, we just gotta go up this little hill and it will just be around the corner." Rainbow said with a little malice to it. They then looked up and saw that they were at the very bottom the 'little hill'. They then looked at Rainbow Dash with vemon in their eyes and Rainbow began chuckling to herself like a maniac.
As they continue to climb up to the top of the 'little hill' Applejack turns to Sunset as she looked a little worrysome about something. "Hey Sunset, you alright there sugarcube?" Applejack asked as she fixes her earrings.
"Huh? Oh, yea I'm fine Applejack thanks. Just thinking of how it will work out with me and Twilight." Sunset replied while smiling.
"It will go well. Trust me girl. Now are you sure your able to do this?" Applejack asked again, raising an eyebrow.
"Yea... I hope." Sunset replying again with a smile. Applejack just shrugged it off and continued walking.
After a couple more minutes Rainbow looked and stopped. "Hey, We're here!" Rainbow said excitingly to the others. Everyone looked up and saw the sign of a pretty large restaurant with a lot of people inside probably for the birthday party. "Well, should we get going?" Rainbow asked them looking back.
"YEA!!!" The other five girls shouting into the air. As they enter the restaurant they saw Twilight and the other 5 girls together talking to each other near the food table. As the main 5 start to head towards them, Sunset just stood there looking at Twilight for about a couple minutes. As she tries to compose herself, Twilight looks in the direction of Sunset and smiled as she starts to walk towards Sunset. Sunset then took a deep breath and started to walk to Twilight as well. They then meet in the middle of the dance floor, looking at each other in the eyes. Then they embraced and kissed each other on the lips. Everyone starts looking at their direction as some soothing music starts playing. Sunset smiled and then looked at Twilight. She then said with all of her heart...
"Happy Birthday Twilight."
