Chapter 17: make or break time

“Well, you ready Shadow” says Rarity
“Kind off, just a little nervous”
“There’s no need to be nervous” giggles Rarity
“You find this funny” I smile 
“No…I just find it cute when you’re nervous” blushes Rarity
“Oh yeah well then you wait till im up on stage” I smile, “Well at least im not first”
“Um…well” says Rarity
“Don’t tell me im going first” I say with my smile fading away
“Well then I won’t tell you” giggles Rarity
“Well anything else I should know before I perform”
“Your guitar is backstage waiting for you”
A pony dressed in black clothes like a ninja walks up to me to inform me that I will be performing first tonight and there is some forms and equipment that needs to be filled out and set up
“Well I’ll see you later” I say kissing Rarity on the forehead
“Good luck Shadow”
“Wish me luck you guys” I say 
“Good luck Shadow” says Twilight 
“Have fun” says Fluttershy
“Go tear it up, up there” says a voice behind me
I turn around to see Rainbow Dash smiling
“I thought you weren’t coming tonight”
“I was but I thought I can’t miss a good friend perform on stage”
“Well I’m glad you made it… I see ya in a bit”
“Sure”
I see Vinyl Scratch walk up to the mic to announce who will be going first
“Ok…The first performance tonight is being performed by a Pony many people have come to know for his performance at the gala, and if you don’t know who im talking about he can be seen on pony tube doing his thing, So every pony give it up for our main man Shadow”
I hear the crowed turn into a roar as I step on stage there was a drummer dressed in black with a bassist standing alongside him and another guitarist standing on the far side of me.  I had my guitar in one hoof and my lucky guitar pick in the other hoof.
“Hi, Im Shadow and this song is called “Almost Easy”
I began to strum the guitar hitting each note with perfect timing, As I began to sing the first verse of the song I could see Rarity with the biggest smile on her face
I finally had reached the solo of the song and I jumped down from the stage and began to play the most amazing solo anyone has ever heard 
I hear the crowd cheer as soon as I finish playing “Almost easy” by Avenged Sevenfold and I notice Vinyl Scratch walking up to me as I head off stage
“Hey that was amazing, have you ever thought of having a career in the music biz” says Vinyl Scratch
“Yeah I have but never had the time t peruse it, cause im kind off new to equestria”
“Well, Shadow that was amazing…you got the crowed pumping and I could feel your energy up there on stage as you strummed that guitar”
“Glad you liked it”
“Yeah it was amazing” Smiles Vinyl Scratch, “Well I better get the other act underway…I’ll see you around Shadow”
“Yeah…I’ll see you around Vinyl Scratch”
“Bye” says Vinyl Scratch as she walks off to announce the next act
“OH MY GOD SHADOW” Screams Rarity, “That was astonishing, I especially liked it when you did that amazing guitar solo”
“Yeah Shadow that was Awesome, You just made that song about 20 precent cooler with that epic guitar solo”
“Well im glad you all liked it” I smiled, “but I think it’s time to go home if you don’t mind guys, Im pretty tired after that performance”
“Yeah sure” says Twilight, “But remember we need to talk tomorrow”
“Yeah I won’t forget”
“I’ll be around your place in the morning”
“Sure thing I’ll be there” I say, “Hey Rarity you coming along”
“Yeah sure, just wait a sec” says Rarity finishing of her drink, “Alright let’s go”
We leave the club and wave good bye to our other friends.
“Hey Rarity how about we fly home”
“Are you sure?” questions Rarity, “you sure I won’t hurt you”
“I’ve already carried you on our first date”
“Yeah but i feel as I’ve gotten a bit fatter since then” says Rarity
“I should probably go on a diet” mutters Rarity
“Don’t be silly Rarity, You don’t need to go on a diet your beautiful the way you are” I smile, “So how about it, you keen to be flown home”
“Sure” giggles Rarity
Rarity jumps on my back and holds on for dear life
“I see you still scared of being flown around”
“Im not Scared” yells Rarity
“ok im sorry” I laugh
Rarity begins to loosen up on nuzzles her face in between my mane  
“You getting comfy back there”
I didn’t get any reply from Rarity
“You right back there Rarity” I say curiously
I then hear Rarity give a little moan as she nuzzles her head further into my mane
‘I guess someone’s tired’ I think to myself
We finally reach Rarity’s house and I carry her upstairs and place her down on her pink fluffy bed
“Goodnight Rarity” I say before kissing her on the forehead and pulling the blanket over her body
“Don’t go Shadow” softly says Rarity, “stay here with me again tonight”
“Alright I’ll stay” I say trotting over to her bed
I get in and cuddle up against Rarity
“Shadow”
“Yeah Rarity”
“I love you”
“I Love you to Rarity” I say as I kiss her shoulder
We slow drift off to sleep while cuddling each other tightly on the bed
