Chapter 16: Trying new things
“So where you wanna go”
“Uhhh” Says Fluttershy stunned
“What’s wrong?” I say looking at Fluttershy weirdly
“Um nothing’s wrong”
“So where you wanna go, I’m keen to go anywhere”
“Well…How about the Pony Spa” Fluttershy says softly
“Alright I’m all good with that”
We leave to the pony spa…once we get there we are greeted by the spa ponies
“Welcome to the day spa…How can we help you today” says one of the spa ponies
“Um…well…the usual please” stutters Fluttershy
“Alright this why please Fluttershy and…”
“Shadow” I say
“Right this way then please” says the other spa pony, “May I ask were lady Rarity is”
“She’s at home” I say, “She has some business to attend to so I thought I would come with Fluttershy to keep her some company”
“Well that’s nice of you…we never really have many colt customers these days”
“Hmmm….I Think I could guess why”
We reach the mud bath area
“Well I hope you enjoy your time here”
“Hmm, so do I”
I begin to sit down in the mud bath
“Oh that’s warm” I say
I think about talking to Fluttershy but I end up releasing she probably want’s some peace and quiet.
“Hey Shadow” says a soft voice next to me
“Yeah Fluttershy”
“I was wondering…no don’t worry its silly”
“What do you want Fluttershy”
“I was wondering if um….um…. If im Rarity’s bridesmaid”
“You don’t have to ask me that…If Rarity’s asked you its fine by me”
“Im glad you think so”
“So how you find out about the Wedding”
“I saw your performance at the gala”
“Everypony around PonyVille saw it…haven’t they”
“I guess so”
I look up and see Fluttershy leaving the mud bath
“Is it time to leave”
“Yeah I usually stay in for a couple minutes or it ruins my coat” says Fluttershy
“Yeah I should get out then or all I will hear from Rarity is what happened to your coat” I say hoping out the mud bath.
I head to the showers in the colt’s bathroom, and after a long hot shower I leave seeing Fluttershy waiting for me.
“You didn’t have to wait for me Fluttershy”
“Oh…Um…well this morning has been fun Shadow…but I might need to get back to my cottage and feed the animals”
“Yeah no problem…This morning has been fun and different, defiantly something I’ve never done before”
“Well I hope you enjoyed it”
“Sure did…Well I don’t wanna keep you back any longer you got animals to feed”
“Yeah, well see ya Shadow…Say bye to Rarity for me” Says Fluttershy flying off home
“Will do, Bye”
I leave the pony spa and head down the road to Rarity’s place, taking my time just in case they are still working things out, I reach Rarity’s store and I walk in revealing Dash and Rarity giggling like two school girls.
“Well I guess all is well again” I say with a smile
“Sure is, me and Dash could never stay mad at each other after all we’ve been through” giggles Rarity
“I’m glad to hear it, now if you would excuse me Dash…Me and Rarity have a lunch date”
“Yeah I’ve got to get going anyway…I’ll see both you guys later” says Dash leaving the store
“So mister Shadow we could go for lunch or… we could stay here and have some fun and go out for dinner at the club down the main street of PonyVille”
“I like the second idea” I say with a big smile, “But I thought you didn’t go to night clubs”
“Never hurts to try…and I heard it was open mic night…So I thought you could play for us all there tonight”
“Yeah that’s sounds like fun…” I say picking Rarity up in my forelegs
“Ohhh” giggles Rarity
“But to the bedroom…we must” I say dashing to the bedroom
After Rarity and I have some mischievous fun in the bedroom, we head to the nightclub located on the PonyVille strip.
The club was easily noticeable due to large neon blue lights decorated around the roof, the large red sign saying “Planet Pony” and DaRude Sandstorm playing loudly inside anyone outside could hear it
“Hello Sir and Lady Rarity…May I have some ID please”
“Uuuhhh” I stutter
“Here’s are ID sir” says Rarity holding out both our ID’s
“Alright you’re free to go in”
“Thanks…How’s your sister by the way”
“She’s fine…She really loved that wedding dress you made her…She really wants to catch up sometime”
“Tell her t pop by the store and we can catch up” Says Rarity heading into the club
“Will do Lady Rarity” says the bouncer
“ID Please” I hear the bouncer say to the next in line
“So I guess you meet all kinds of people through your work” I say
“Sure do the funniest person I’ve ever met was a transsexual donkey”
“Damn that must have been fun” I giggle, “by the way how did you get the ID’s”
“Well I’ve always had mine… and twilight stopped by while Dash and I were working our problem out and I asked if she could get one for you”
“Well Thanks…I guess it was time I got one of them now” I say opening the club doors
As soon as I opened the doors to the main dance floor, the sound of DaRude been played on the DJ decks by Vinyl Scratch was amazing. The whole room was jumping to the beat as Vinyl Scratch displayed her DJ skills.
“I thought this was open mic night” I say to Rarity
“It is at 9:30…So we have a couple hours to wait yet”
“Oh okay”
“Let’s Dance” says Rarity grabbing my hoof
Rarity and I make are way on to the dance floor and I suddenly relies I don’t know how to dance…Well not as a pony anyway
“Hey Rarity I think this is a good time to bring this up…but I don’t know how to dance”
“Well I guess that’s another thing I’ll have to teach you” says Rarity with a seductive grin, “Here place your hoofs on my hips”
All of a sudden Vinyl Scratch starts playing a slow and smooth song
“Well I guess that was good timing” I smile
We begin to sway to the beat of the music
“Rarity you look really beautiful tonight” I whisper softly into Rarity’s ear
“Oh thanks Shadow” Blushes Rarity
“I also probably don’t say this enough Rarity, but I love you with all my heart”
“I love you to Shadow” Says Rarity as she nuzzles her head into my chest, “You know Shadow you’re the only Gentlecolt I ever had as a boyfriend”
“Wow I thought a beautiful Unicorn like you would have had lots of boyfriends by now”
“I have had a couple of suitors but…well none of them have had what I’ve been looking for in a man” shyly whispers Rarity
“Do I have what you’re looking for in a gentlecolt” I whisper
“Maybe” Jokes Rarity
“Oh that’s how you’re going to be” I say pulling Rarity closer to my body
“Yep" says Rarity as she throws her forelegs around my neck
“Well, I guess I’ll have to do something about that” I say dipping Rarity on her back while holding her in my arms
“And what are you going to do” giggles Rarity
“Wait and see” I say kissing Rarity
Rarity’s forelegs loosen of my neck and dangle down her side.
I bring Rarity back up on to her feet and she still has her eyes closed
“Oh Shadow…That’s exactly how I thought that would feel” whispers Rarity
I look around and notice a couple of pony’s staring at me and Rarity
“Hey Rarity don’t look…but I think some people are staring” I whisper into Rarity’s ear
“Let them look” says Rarity before planting her lips against mine
Me and Rarity kept on kissing until we were interrupted by somepony
“Um…Hi…Rarity…and…Shadow” says Fluttershy, “Im…um…sorry for…interrupting”
“Don’t be silly Fluttershy you’re not interrupting” says Rarity
“Oh…um…good”
“Hey Fluttershy what are you doing here” I say confused with Fluttershy being at a night club
“Um…Rarity invited me”
“I invited Fluttershy and the others” says Rarity with a cheeky smile
“The others?” I say
“Yeah the others you know Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Applejack”
“Why did you invite them” I say still confused
“So they could see you perform” smiles Rarity, “You can’t have your first live performance without your friends to support you”
“I guess” I say seeing Twilight, Applejack trot in with Pinkie pie bouncing behind them
“I hope you don’t mind Shadow”
“Not at all, But are you sure Pinkie Pie’s old enough to be here?” I joke
“Yeah she is…Well I hope she is” Laughs Rarity
“Hey Shadow” Says Twilight
“Hey Twilight hows it going”
“Pretty good…I was wondering if we could talk about something rather important
“Could it wait I don’t want anything to ruin today”
“Yeah I guess I can pop by your place tomorrow”
“Sweet, thank you”
“So Shadow I heard you’re performing tonight”
“Yeah I am”
“Is it going to be anything like the gala?”
“You’ve seen that as well” I say embarrassed
“It’s the talk of the town and canterlot, Pony performs on stage for Girlfriend before asking her to marry him”
The music fades in the background at the end of the song and Vinyl Scratch announces the open mic night
“Well I’m glad you liked it” I laugh “but I better be getting back to rarity
