Chapter 15: A pony must do what a pony’s gotta do
‘I hope this plan works…I really hope it does’

With that thought in mind I start to run faster and faster
‘I see the gala’
I quickly race through the entrance until I’m stopped by the royal guards
“Sir you must have a pass to enter the premises”
“But I must get in my girlfriends in there”

I quickly check my pockets to see if I have anything to bribe them with…and that’s when I find it
“Thank god Rarity didn’t take it out” I said pulling out the pass
“Thank you sir… you may now enter”
I quickly race inside searching for Rarity high and low
“Rarity….Rarity where are you” I yell while frantically searching
“Shadow what’s wrong” said a purple Unicorn
“Twilight do you know where Rarity is”
“The last time I saw her was with Prince Blueblood in the main hall”
“Thank you Twilight I owe you so much” I said while running off
‘Crap, she’s with Prince Blueblood…now what am I going to do’ I think to myself

I quickly race to the stage and ask the band if they could play a song for me
“Hmmm… Um Hi ugh I’m wrote this song for a special girl out there….I’m not sure if she’s here but this is how it goes” I said nervously through the mic, “Rarity this one’s for you…Hit it”

‘I must have been too late’ I think to myself until I notice her running to the stage
“Rarity I’m so sorry for what has happened... it was my entire fault” I said to Rarity as she walks on stage
“Shadow…That was… That was the most romantic thing anyone’s done for me” Rarity said with a couple of tears in her eyes
“I don’t think that is the most romantic thing” I said while getting down on one hoof into the microphone, “Rarity will you marry me”
“Oh my god Shadow” Rarity cried,
“So what do you said” I said hoping she said yes
“Yes… Yes I will” Rarity said as she runs over and kisses me
“She said yes” I said into the microphone and all of a sudden the crowd cheers
“Shadow how about we both get out of here”
“Sure Thing” I said as I pick Rarity up in my arms
We fly back to Rarity’s boutique store
“So what made you change your mind about us Shadow?”
“Well a talk to a friend of mine” I said smiling at Rarity.
“But what about Rainbow Dash”
“How about we forget Rainbow Dash for now…Tonight’s about us”
“Yeah…how about we go upstairs and make up for the last couple of days”
“Just what I was thinking” I said as me and Rarity head up stairs
“So Rarity…I got to ask why you didn’t stay with Prince Bluebl…” I said before Rarity puts her hoof against my lips
“We’ll talk about it tomorrow” said Rarity softly, “But for now how about you get on the bed”
“Don’t have to said that twice” I said quickly jumping on to the bed
“Ah good morning Shadow” Said the perky pony sitting on top of me
“Good morning Rarity” I said before kissing her
“What you wanna do today?”
“Well I’ve got to talk to Dash today…but after that I’m free”
“How about we meet up for lunch today”
“That sounds good” I said kissing Rarity
“Well I better get going…But what time is it”
“It’s…nine o’clock”
“Yeah I better get going…it takes a while to fly to Dash’s house”
“You sure you don’t wanna join me in the shower first” said Rarity looking at me sexily
“How could I say no?”
After me and Rarity had some fun in the shower I headed out to Cloudsdale to see Rainbow Dash
“Hey Dash, are you home” I yelled knocking on her door
“Shadow!” Screamed the cyan pony throwing her arms around me, “I’m so sorry about what happened that day but I hope we can still be friends”
“Of course we can Dash” I smile
“Oh come in Shadow”
“Thanks”
“Congratulations on your engagement to Rarity”
“Thanks…How you here about that”
“I still went to the gala even though I didn’t have a dress”
“Why didn’t you have a dress?”
“I couldn’t bear to see Rarity…I still don’t wanna see her I think she will bite my head off”
“Come on Dash, you should know Rarity well enough to talk to her about what happened”
“Yeah I will one day…but not yet”
“How about you come with me to see Rarity and sort it out between you two”
“You sure she won’t bite my head off”
“I’m sure she won’t…she’s the one that sent me here to sort things out between us” I said with a smile, “So I’m sending you to sort things out between you two”
“Fine…I’ll go” Dash said with a big sigh
“That’s the spirit” I laugh
“You better be coming with me”
“Yeah I’ll be there”
“Well let’s get this over and done with”
Dash and I fly back to Rarity’s, Dash barely said anything on the flight here you couldn’t even hear her breath
“Well, you ready Dash”
“Not really,” Dash whispered.
“Well no time like the present” I said knocking on the door
“Come in we’re open” Said Rarity opening the door, “Oh Shadow and… Dash”
“Hey how’s it going?”
“Good…I’m kind off busy at the moment can you come back later today” said Rarity trying to avoid talking to Dash.
“Come on Rarity you always got time for the Shadow” I said joking around
“I’m sorry Shadow… Fluttershy and I are preparing a dress for a client that’s coming tomorrow….and I don’t have time for any distractions” said Rarity
“You will only take a minute…Me and her can go for a walk and get to know each other better,” I said nodding towards Fluttershy who walked up behind Rarity seeing who was at the door.
“I don’t mind going for a walk…I need some fresh air after the last dress” said Fluttershy softly
“Well we leave you both to it then” I said smiling
“Shall we” I said opening the door further for Fluttershy
“Thanks…” Said Fluttershy trying to remember my name.
“The names Shadow” I said with a cheesy smile.
