Chapter 11: The morning after
I awake to Rarity smiling cheerfully on top of me
“Is it time for round three” I joke
“No Shadow… Not now anyway”
“Okay I’m still tired from last night”
“Well you better wake up because you have to train with Rainbow Dash today”
“Oh yeah that happens to be today doesn’t it” I moan, “How are you not tired by the way”
“I don’t know” smiles Rarity, “by the way I mean what I said last night… about how I love you”
“I know you did Rarity and I love you as well” I said stroking Rarity’s hair off her face
“Well… you better get ready Shadow”
“Yeah” I said with a big yawn “You better get ready too”
Rarity then leans over and gives me a kiss, then hopes of me and heads to the shower
“Oh Shadow you can join me in the shower if you wish… you might need one before we head out”
“I’ll be there in a tick” I said quickly jumping out of bed
After are little adventure in the shower me and Rarity heard a knock on the door
“That will be Dash” We both said
I headed to the door and opened it up for the blue Pegasus
“So Shadow are you read for practise… we have to get this right before the competition in four days”
“Well if we get it down packed today we will only need to practise again on Wednesday” I said “Because I got to get ready for the Royal Gala on Saturday”
“Yeah sure thing Shadow I have to get prepared for the Gala as well” Said Rainbow Dash “That reminds… Rarity I heard you are making Twilights and everyone else’s dresses”
“Let me guess you want me to make you one as well”
“Yeah if you want to Rarity”
“My as well if I’m making one for everyone else”
“Thank you so much Rarity…Now how about we go practise”
“Wait a sec Sweetie belle and her friends wanted to tag along to the practise” I said
“I saw sweetie belle a second ago… She shouldn’t be far behind me” said Rainbow Dash, “So Rarity and Shadow are you guys…. Well seeing each other”
“Well what makes you think that” Said Rarity
“Well yesterday I saw you to kissing and I wasn’t sure”
“What like this” I said before kissing Rarity
“Yeah like that… Wait you guys are seeing each other”
“Oh I wonder what gave that away… It mustn’t have been the date or us kissing” I said sarcastically
“Were here” Said Sweetie belle gasping for breathe
“Hey Rainbow Dash are you teaching this guy how to fly or something” Said Scootaloo
“Na I’m not Scootaloo… Me and Shadow are Practising for the Teams competition on Thursday” Said Rainbow Dash
“Oh so that’s what Sweetie Belle brought us here for” said Applebloom, “Why do you need a partner for… you’re better by yourself”
“Well that’s why they call it Teams competition” Said Rainbow Dash, “There has to be two people for each team…. And besides everyone knows Rainbow Dash is the most amazing pony ever”
“Well… We better get going” I said “We don’t wanna be here all day talking about this”
“Yeah we better get going” said Rainbow Dash
“Um… Shadow you don’t mind if I miss the practice today” said Rarity
“Why?” I said
“Well ive got all these dresses to make before the gala on Saturday and I don’t really have much time now… Since I have to do Rainbow Dash’s Dress as well”
“Alright it’s all cool” I said
“Thank you Shadow”
“Well I see you tonight then… Right” I said before kissing her
“Yuck” Said Scootaloo, “Get a room”
“Ohhh” said Applebloom and Sweetie belle
“Hahahaha…. See ya later Rarity”
“Bye Shadow… Bye everyone”
