Chapter 4: Unwanted farewell
We straped the belts across are waists and hit the button on the top of the device. *Beep*. Next thing we knew we were on Earth.
“So Shadow this is what you humans look like”
I turn around to talk to Rarity and notice she was wearing now clothes and here hair was still purple.
“Umm… Yeah…. Wait here a sec while I get you some clothes”
“Okay….but why do I need clothes”
“Us humans where things called clothes…which cover the body reducing exposure”
“Okay”
I walk to my mother’s room and grab some clothes for Rarity
‘Agh these will do nicely’ I think to myself
“Here you go” I said as I had the dress to Rarity
“Thanks…. But how do you put it on
“You just put your arms through these holes… and pull it over your head while putting your head through this hole”
‘Okay thanks”
“No problem Rarity”
We walk down stairs to see if my mum was home
“Hey mum… Mum you home”
“Yes Karl”
“I would like you to meet my friend Rarity”
“Rarity nice to meet you… where are you from Rarity?”
“I’m from PonyVille... Miss…”
“McGrath” I whisper to Rarity
“Miss McGrath” adds Rarity
“Karl what’s going on” my mum said, “This better not be one of your funny tricks”
“No it’s not one of my stupid tricks… for once in my life I’m being serious for once in my life”
“But how can a place filled with ponies and a gay ass TV show be real”
“I thought that as well but it seems to exist”
“Well I’ve only got forty-five minutes to said good bye because I’m moving to PonyVille and in the next forty-five minutes it will teleport me back there so I’ve got to said goodbye and get my things”
“But Karl are you ever coming back”
“I will one day and maybe you can come back with me”
“Yeah that would be nice”
“Well Mum I got to get all my stuff and I’ll come back down and we can talk some more”
“Yeah….. Sure” My mum said trying not to cry.
I head back upstairs to pack some of my stuff inside some bags
“Celestia said if you are touch the objects that you want to take… they will be teleport back with you”
We begin to huddle the rest of my belongings into the centre of the room.
“Hmm this should do the trick… Rarity I’m gonna head back down stairs to said goodbye to mum” I said sadly
“Yeah that’s alright Shadow, you go do what you have to and I’ll be waiting here when you’re done”
I head back down stairs and see that mum was crying on the couch.
“Mum, you okay”
“I’m fine”
“You don’t look it”
“Well how would you feel if you just been told your son is leaving and not able to come back?”
“I know it seems hard to comprehend right now back in the end you will learn to live life without me…. And it’s not like you don’t have Hagrid here still”
“Karl don’t call your sister that… and I guess I can see you on that TV show of yours”
“Yeah you’ll get to see me in pony form”
“Shadow” yelled Rarity, “We have only got a two minutes left”
“Shadow” laughs mum
“Long story that I’m afraid we don’t have time for….Well I’ve got to go back to PonyVille… Said good bye to the family for me and said good bye to my dad for me”
“I will”
“Oh and make sure you said by to my broseph Kyle”
“Sure will”
“Mum…. I’m sorry I have to go but I Love you and I will Love you forever and ever”
“I know you will Karl… Just make sure you come back someday”
“I will Mum” I said as we head up stairs
“Hey Rarity make sure your touching everything you can”
“Sure Shadow”
“Mum Bye and I love you” I said trying not to cry
“I love you to Karl”
The next thing I knew I was back in my house in PonyVille all my belongings were put in to place from a spell Rarity cast so we didn’t have to move anything at all.
“Thanks Rarity for the help today” I said in a sad voice
“Are you okay Shadow?” asked Rarity in a sincere voice
“Yeah I’ll be fine Rarity… I just got to be alone for now”
“Yeah no problem… I’ll be at my place across the road if you need me”
“I’ll… probably see you tomorrow and we can go see Fluttershy and Applejack”
“Yeah sure… Oh don’t forget we have to see Rainbow Dash about you learning to fly”
“Yeah thanks Rarity again for the help today”
“No problem I will see you tomorrow”
I begin to head to bed, as I reach the bed I hop in and drift off to sleep
