Chapter 3: The Lucky Saviour

Rarity and I began to walk back to her shop but it was so dark we could barely see. 
“Hey Shadow can you see”
“Not really… its sooo dark here at night in PonyVille”
“Yeah we better hurry before we get into trouble”
‘I think we are about half way there now.’ I thought to myself, ‘I think Rarity is a bit scared of the dark but I don’t see what there’s to worry about’
“Ahh Shadow did you here that” said Rarity a little bit frightened 
“Nah I didn’t hear anything”
Next thing we know we hear a vicious roar.
“Did you here that Shadow” 
“Yeah I’ve defiantly heard something that time” I said trying to figure out where the sound came from.
We could hear the roar become loader and Rarity was shaking in fear.
“Are you alright Rarity?”
“No, not really, I’m a bit scared”
“Don’t be afraid I’ll look after you” I said in a heroic manner, “Hide behind me so he doesn’t see you”
“Okay” She said as she gets quickly behind me
“ROARRRRR” yelled the beast that suddenly stood right in front of me.
I looked behind me and see that Rarity was hiding behind underneath my wing. I look back at the beast to see it had three giant dog heads and perked up with its long scorpion tail.
“Wow that’s one hideous beast” I said trying not to be scared, “Rarity are you going to be alright for a minute while I teach this…thing a lesson”
“Are… you… sure… you… won’t…get…. Hurt” Rarity said sniffling
“I’ll be fine… Just wait for me alright because I don’t know how to get back to PonyVille” I said with a warming smile.
“Yep…. Ill…. Wait…. Here….” 
I turned around to face the beast for the second time.
‘Alright time to do this’
I began to charge at the beast and prepared for a head-butt. As I hit the beast in the chest it didn’t faze it at all.
‘What do I have to do to hurt this thing?’
It swung its tail at me sending me into the air into a nearby tree.
“Shadow” Rarity screamed as she ran towards me, “are you alright”
“Yeah I’m all good… Let me try this again,” I said standing up with ease and a criminal smile
“Be careful Shadow”
“Yeah I will”
I began to charge at the beast for a second time and the outcome was exactly the same as the first, I then attempted for a third… then a fourth time.
“Shadow” Screamed Rarity
“I’m alright… Ill… get him this…time…”
I begin to charge at the beast for the fifth time, I begin to think what will happen if I couldn’t beat  it and what would have happened to Rarity if I didn’t do anything. With doubts flowing through my mind I became determine to defeat the monster. I began to run faster and faster until I couldn’t run any faster. I looked behind me to see if Rarity was alright and I noticed that she was crying and there’s was trial of a red and black speed lines behind me giving me an idea.
‘What will happen if I run around it as fast as I can?’
I began to run circles around the beast, as I reached my sixth lap around it a cycle of red and black wind began to engulf it.
“Oh my Gosh Shadow” Rarity said stunned at the sight of the red and black cyclone “It’s like he’s going so fast that he’s creating a Vortex around it”
‘This is working,’ I yelled in my head, ‘Now it’s time to end this,’
Each lap around the monstrosity I ran I got closer and closer to it until I physically couldn’t get any closer
“Now go away you Monster,” I screamed as I released my plan.
The Vortex that surrounded the beast, began to lift it from its feet. I then had the idea to launch myself into the air with the help of the vortex. As I was in the air I began to spiral back down creating another small vortex as I headed towards the monster.
“Aggghhh” I screamed, “Now it’s the end”
I hit the beast and a huge cloud of smoke and dirt blasted away from the final attack.
“SHADOW” Screamed Rarity.
Within the smoke and dust clouds she saw a figure standing up.
“Shadow is that you” she asked quietly scared of what or who it could be.
The figure then began to walk out of the smoke and dust
“Shadow” Rarity said excitedly as she runs over to me “You are alright”
“Well you could said that” 
“Where did you learn how to do that, because you’ve only been in PonyVille for a day?”
“Let’s just say that back on Earth I used to play a lot of video games and I kind of gives you an amazing imagination”
“What are Video Games?”
“Don’t worry I’ll tell you tomorrow” I said trying not to yawn “mmm that was tiering… we better get you back to your store”
“Yeah let’s go”
We arrived back at Rarity’s shop in PonyVille and I waked Rarity up to her front door.
“Thanks Shadow, for saving me back there... from that monster I don’t know what I would have done if you weren’t there” said Rarity trying not to cry.
“Hey… no need to cry you’re alright now” I said trying to be sincere, “if it wasn’t for me showing up here in PonyVille none of this wouldn’t have happened” 
“It’s not your fault it happened... It could have still happened to another pony” 
“Well I better get going so that you can have some rest”
“But where are you going to go, you don’t have a house here in PonyVille”
“I’ll find somewhere to stay the night”
“How about you stay with me at my place… I’ve got enough room and a spare bed in my house as you already know”
“I don’t want to intrude… because you’ve already looked after me once”
“Na its fine… after all you just saved my life… and then tomorrow I can introduce you to Fluttershy and Applejack”
“Yeah that would be good”
“And after that we can ask Twilight If she could ask princess Celestia about getting you a new house and maybe she would know a way to get you back home”
“What happens if I don’t want to go home and stay here in PonyVille…. Cause I wasn’t getting far in life on Earth”
“Maybe she can send you home so you can say goodbye and get the stuff you need so you can here”
“Yeah that would be good… well I’m going to go to bed,” I yawned “I’m tired. That damn vortex took a lot out of me”
“Yeah Goodnight and see ya in the morning”
I headed up stairs so that I  could get some sleep but I couldn’t help but wonder what was happening back on Earth. My mum was probably going crazy not knowing where I am, my sister, probably loving it… me and her never got on and my dad, well I never really ever saw him much but I knew he loved me. I thought about how crucial it was for me to seek guidance from the princess

‘Hmmm…. It’s a new day in PonyVille…. I wonder what time it is’
I got out of bed to see what time it was and….. I fall right onto my face 
‘Owww’	
“Morning Shadow”
“Morning Rarity… Why do I feel so sore?” I said getting up from the ground
“Probably from that Vortex move you did last night or the pain from being smashed by that beast has finally caught up with you”
“Hmmm…. It feels like I’ve been hit by a train… don’t ask what a train is” 
“I know what a train is,” Rarity said with an obvious smirk, “but, sure… Anyway you hungry”
“Starving what’s to eat….”
“Well we’ve got hay, Dandelion sandwiches”
“Ok I’ll just go with the sandwiches, thank you,” I smiled.
“Coming right up” said Rarity cheerfully as she started walking out the door “I’ll meet you down stairs…Ok Shadow”
“Hey Rarity thanks for letting me stay the night… because I don’t know where I was going to stay”
“Hey no problem it’s thanks to you that I’m still alive”
“Hehehe Yeah”
“Well you better go have a shower… It’s down the hall to the right”
“Thanks see ya down stairs”
“Yep” smiles Rarity 
I headed down the hall and entered the shower
‘Ha-ha the showers here are like baths’
I had a decent five minute shower, for my first in Equestria.
‘Where is a towel? ... Agh here’s one’
I got out the shower, dried off and headed down stairs for breakfast.
“Yo Rarity…. You there”
“Yeah Shadow”
“I was wondering if we could see about getting a house today and going back home for a couple hours”
“Yeah sure that means where going to need to see Twilight first”
“OK Cool”
I sat down and began to eat the dandelion sandwich
“Oh God, that tastes good”
“So you like it”
“Mm… Hell yes”
“So Shadow what are you going to call that move you did yesterday”
“I dunno haven’t really thought about it” 
“Well you should with a move like that you could probably join the Wonder Boltz”
“Nah…  I reckon Rainbow Dash would like to see it though”
“Yeah probably”
I finished off the sandwich leaving nothing left on the plate.
“Well I’m all done how about we go and see Twilight now”
“Yeah sure”
We begin to head to Twilights house.
“Hey Shadow… Why don’t you learn how to fly?”
“Yeah I should… but who would teach me”
“I think Rainbow Dash will teach you”
“Well that will be the next stop”
We reached Twilights house and asked if she could ask Princess Celestia if we could have a house form me to stay in and if she knows any way to get back to Earth for a short amount of time.
“Spike” yelled Twilight “Thank you,” she said as she saw the purple dragon blow a small flame and caused the scroll of writing disappear. 
Within seconds another note pops up in the air.
“Hmm… Princess Celestia has declared that the house located across from Rarity’s House will now be available to the tenet Shadow… And for getting back to Earth these two Teleporting belts will take you back to Earth for exactly One hour for you to said your good byes and take any belongings” Spike said aloud reading the scroll.
“We’ll let’s go back to my place Rarity…. And see what it’s like”
“Yeah sure… and will go get your stuff after”
“Yeah….. Thanks for the help Twilight I owe you big time”
“No problem…Bye”
We left Twilights place and walked towards my new house, when we eventually arrived at my new house we went inside to see how big it was.
“Holy Crap… This house is Massive… bigger than my house back on Earth”
“Yeah all houses are huge in PonyVille so we can fit everything inside”
“So…. Rarity… would you mind helping me get my stuff back on Earth”
“Sure no problem”
