Chapter 1: The Gate of Equestria. “Talking.” Thinking “Demon’s or other supernatural creatures talking.” “Magical Monsters.” Disclaimer: I don’t own Blue Exorcist, or MLP. …..Fujimoto’s Church….. “HAHAHAHAHAHA!” The screaming laughter could be heard all throughout the church. Anyone unlucky enough to be just outside of the church were scared half to death by the maniac scream. Inside the main hall, with the only light being the glow of blue fire. “Come on Old Man! Snap out of it!” Shouts the voice of Rin Okumura. A fairly tall young man, with black hair, a dark blue jacket, a pair of black trousers, and sneakers. Strapped to his back, in some kind of cloth, is the sword that his father had recently given to him. “It’s not Father Fujimoto! It’s Satan! He’s taken over his body!” Screamed one of the Church assistance. The man then tried to get up so that he could try and expel the God of the demons. Yet with one quick glance, Satan in Fujimoto’s body made the man burst into flames. “Now, now. Don’t go ruining our… special reunion. Hehehehe. HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Standing in a maniac like fashion, an old man, with a priest outfit, is laughing. His eyes seem to be blue, with red inside. Also he’s on fire. Blue Fire. Rin Stares in shock as the assistant falls to the ground, dead. Burnt to a crisp. “No!” Shouts Rin as he tries to run to his fallen friend. Yet a strong grip on his arm kept him back. “Don’t worry for him now son. He’s long dead. Just like my time in this body.” Rin could only stare in shock as Satan took the hand of his foster Father and snapped it clean off. Blood leaking from the wound. Rin visibly fliched at the sight. “You see son, Assiah can’t handle my power. It’s just too overwhelming. When I posses something, it doesn't last too long. Like this old man, and like your mother.” While he was saying this, the blood that leaked from his open wound started to turn into a rectangular shape on the ground. Then bubbles slowly started to raise from the blood. The bubbles turned. Showing RIn they had small faces. Then other structures started to come out of the blood. They framed what Rin would come to know as, “Gehenna Gate.” Rin Backed up to the wall, scared out of his mind. This… thing, had come out of nowhere and possessed his dad. The devil took over his dad. “What the hell is happening?” Rin fell to the floor. Still trying to figure out what was going on. Exorcist, Demons, SATAN! All this was coming in to fast for Rin. “It’s a powerful Gate, which binds together the realms, Assiah and Gehenna. Your old world and mine respectfully.” Said the demon of blue fire. Slowly turning the old man head to his son, Satan started to walk over to Rin, who was still to scared to move. “Now, Then, let’s take you to your new kingdom, son.” Rin panicked as the Devil was getting closer and closer. Backing up as far as he could, Rin had only one option. Scream. “Get away from me! Go away!” Much similar to the flames of Satan, Rin burst into blue fire, although much smaller than Satan’s fire. The God of Demons stared in mild shock, before breaking out into full blown laughter. “HAHAHAHA! What are those? Did you just messyourself? Right in front of your father? Pathetic. Now let's get through the Gate, and then work on breaking that damned seal.” Satan grabbed Rin by the arms, hoisting him up to his feet, Rim screamed and flailed in an attempt to get away. However, Satan’s grip was far too strong for the Son of Satan. “Let me, GO!” He shouted at the God of Demons. Yet this only caused Satan to gain a wicked smile. “Let you go? Look kid, you’re a demon. You are your father’s son. You're a demon!” The Maniac like laughter returned, and Rin tried to resist even more. “No! I. AM. NOT. A DEMON!” He shouted at the top of his lungs. That is, until his eyes caught sight of a mirror I-is that me? Looking in the mirror, Rin didn’t find the scared teenager he once thought himself. No. What he found was much more disturbing. Instead of regular ears, his is slightly more pointed, and his teeth have instead become fangs. Looking into the mirror, all Rin saw was… a Demon. So… I am a demon. “The blood of the God of Demons runs through your veins. Yet you can live in both Assiah and Gehenna. You truly are an extraordinary being!” With a flick of the wrist, Satan sent Rin into the Gate. Rin found that the black substance, was now trying to cover him, smother him. He wanted to get away, to wake up from this nightmare. He screamed once more. “HAHAHA! Yes! Scream like that of a newborn! For that is what you are! Reborn as my son! As a demon! HAHAHAHA!” The God of the demons laughed in insanity. Enjoying the night he would reclaim his son. “SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! HELP!” Yet the only ones around could not come to his aid. For they had been burned by the Blue Flames. “Happy Birthday! Hehehehe. HAHAHAHA!” That laugh… it was twisted. Etching itself into Rin’s memories. Yet one thing Satan didn’t expect from the night, defiance in the back of his head. He is NOT your son! It’s not true. Satan felt the words in the back of his skull. They were the words of the Exorcist, Fujimoto. “HE IS MY SON!” With a sudden lack of control, Satan couldn’t stop the arm as it grabbed the needle on his left chest. And in one fluid motion, Fujimoto had stuck the needle in his heart. It didn’t take long for Satan to figure out the exorcist plan. “You plan to kill yourself. Just to keep me away from my son?” It wasn’t a question, but a statement. The needle was all he needed to know. Rin’s face paled at the words. His father was going to die? Well he was already going to die. “He’s my son. And I plan on keeping my boy just that. MY boy.” Said the senior Exorcist with a smirk in victory. “DAMN YOU EXORCIST!” “And as an added bonus, getting you away from… my… b-boy…” With that, Fujimoto took his final breath. Falling into the still bubbling Gate. The blue fire slowly fading away from his body. “D-dad!” Rin tries to trek through the black substance. After using all the leg power, Rin finally made it to the body of his foster father. “He was an old fool…” Rin took a step back at Satan’s voice. “Wha- what do you mean?” Then laugh returned, only quieter. “This gate has you in it’s hold. You will not be getting out. Never. I will see you soon… Son.” Satan’s soul had left the body. Rin was sure of it. However he now had a different problem. The Gehenna Gate. Yet he wouldn’t let this gate eat them. He needed to think. RIn isn’t strong enough to get out. Let alone with his foster dad in tow. “How? How? HOW!?” He screamed as the substance took the lower part of his torso. He needed more power. More strength. Yet where could he… THE SWORD! Grabbing the cloth that cover the katana, Rin began to think of the consequences of him doing this. Of what being a demon would mean. …..Flashback….. “Dad? Why am I so different?” Asked a much younger Rin. Riding on the back of his Father. “Am I a demon child after all?” He asked with empty eyes. The older man noticed this and gave the youth a proud smile. “No. You’re my son. You will always be MY son. You are just as much Human as I am. Rin, you and your brother will always be my brats. Blood only goes so far, it’s the bond between parent and child, that has made you my son. And even if you were, would anything about how I treat you be different? No. I would still love you. My boy.” Rin looked up at the old man in awe. “I love you dad.” Sobbed the child. His head now stuck in the back of his father. “You to, Rin.” Said the exorcist with a bright smile. He looked back to see that Rin was almost about to doze off. And the smile became even wider. …..Flashback End….. I would be a demon. They would be right. BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER! In one quick, fluid motion, Rin had removed the covering. The sword glowed in all it’s demonic glory. Dad… I’m sorry… I’m so Sorry. “KOMA SWORD!” He then slid the blade away from the sheath. …..Flashback….. “If it hurts soooo much, then show how you grew up?” Said Fujimoto with a taunting grin. …..Flashback….. Blue fire exploded out from Rin and the sword. Rin could feel the fire protecting him, healing him, making him stronger. And that was all he needed. To be stronger. He didn’t notice the physical change to himself. Rin had grown a new black tail with a blue flame on the end, razor sharp teeth, his nails had grown to feral lengths, two horns made of blue fire sprouted from his head, and his ears had grown pointed and long. With rage in his eyes, Rin took the sword and slashed at the Gate with all his new might. Blue flames burst out from both, the sword and the Gate. Rin felt like it wasn’t enough. He needed more. He had to destroy the Gate! “RAAAAAAAAWWWWW!” He didn’t care how demonic his voice sounded right now. All he cared about was freeing his foster father’s body, and himself from the Gate. He needed a little more. Just a little more. …..Flashback….. “Whats with that look? To tough for ya? HAHAHA! Come on brat, you can do this?” The familiar smile, the taunting look in his eyes. It only served to make Rin even more determined. …..Flashback….. “I WON’T GIVE IN!” The flames tripled in size, and kept growing. Rin could feel his anger bubbling to it’s peak. And he liked it. It fed to the power that was helping them. With one final push, the Gate broke. One big, white, glowing crack down the middle. With a smirk in victory, Rin threw his father’s body out of the remnants of the Gate. “I did it…” He was about to jump out himself, when he was struck by a sudden loss in energy. First, the sword and it’s sheath fell into the white crack, then Rin himself. And the last thing Rin heard was someone screaming. “BROTHER!” Then… nothing. …..Unknown forest….. Darkness… That's all Rin could see. He could feel… grass on his back. Wait… grass? “Huh!?” Shouted Rin as he jumped to his feet. His eyes, wide open, looked around. Only to see that he was in some… dark and kinda creepy forest. Looking around, all Rin could see was trees. Trees everywhere. “What the hell just happened.” Putting a hand to his face, Rin tried to think about the last few hours. He was walking home. Then got cornered by some street thugs he beat up some time ago. Then blue fire… DEMONS! “DAD!” Looking around, Rin could not find his foster father, however he did happen to see something else on the forest floor. The Koma Sword. Forged to seal his… demonic side. At least as far, as Rin knew about it. “How come the sword is in its sheath? I had it out when I- WHEN I FELL! I’M IN GEHENNA!” He fell through the Gate. So it was a reasonable assumption. But something wasn’t right here. While it was creepy, RIn expected Gehenna to be more… well hellish looking. Pun unintended. “So if it’s not Ge-” Rin was unable to complete the sentence, when all of a sudden a loud roar was heard. “ROOOOOAAAAAR” Rin almost fell on his ass after hearing the loud, monstrous roar. Looking around the forest proved useless. No matter where he looked, whatever made that noise wasn’t there. “Maybe it left?” He thought to himself. That is until something above the tree line caught his gaze. Far away, which made Rin think about how big it was, was a GIANT BEAR! Translucent, purple with what looked like tiny stars inside of it. But a GIANT FREAKIN’ BEAR!? “What. The. HEL!?” A GIANT DAMN BEAR!? Was it a demon? A demon that hated the law of physics? ‘Cause no bear should be ANYWHERE near that size. “Screw it!” in grabbed the sword off the ground and, in a burst of speed, took off to see just what the hell was going on! …..Ponyville….. They were in trouble. Big trouble. Pun unintended. At first a couple of young colts brought a Ursa Minor out from a cave to ponyville. That was simple to deal with, thanks to a sleeping spell. Yet when the mother came… she didn’t take to kindly, to her baby unconscious on the ground. “EVERYPONY! GET BACK” Commanded the lavender maned unicorn. Nopony objected as they ran away from the Ursa Major. They had no way to combat a Ursa Major with out the Princesses. These things were too strong for any normal pony to do anything to it. “Twilight!” Came the young voice of her assistant. Looking to the baby drake, Twilight could see the fear in his eyes. It was understandable. There were only a few things in existence that could beat an Ursa Major. Full grown Dragons, and the Princesses. Right now, they had neither to be backup. “Spike? What are you doing?! Run!” She commanded the baby Dragon. Yet he paid no mind as he ran to Twilight. “There’s another monster coming!” Spike screamed in panic. Twilight now looked at the fear stricken face of the drake. He had no reason to lie in this situation soooo… Oh no. “Another Ursa Major?” She asked in hope that his answer was a no. Twilight had to give a sigh in relief when Spike shook his head no. “Then what?” She asked, not forgetting about the Ursa behind her. “I don’t know! It was weird. Two legs, a black furry tail, clothing, and claws like mine!” Twilight immediately through of a bipedal wolf. But quickly dismissed it. No wolf wears clothing. Maybe a monkey? But they don’t have claws, or wear clothing. The sound of the Ursa Major’s foot step brought her back to reality. “Sorry Spike, but we’ll have to finish this for another time. I’m gonna hold the Ursa Major off until Princess Celestia and Luna arrive.” Spike was about to protest, and say that she should run with everyone else. That is, until they heard the Ursa Major cry in pain. “What?” Twilight looked to see what happens. Silently hoping it was the princesses. However what she saw was not the magic of the princesses, but blue flames. …..Earlier….. “A village?” Asked a confused Rin. After exiting the forest, Rin was met with a rather big village. It looked kinda old fashion, with no tech as far as he could see. And the fact that there seemed to be a lot of small horses contributed to the notion that this place was low tech. But now wasn’t the time for him to be thinking about that. “How do I fight that big bastard?” The spawn of Satan asked himself. He couldn’t just run up to it and punch it. Screw it. Koma sword. “Here it goes.” Rin unsheath the blade, and the blue flames returned. He smiled at the warm feeling they brought. But frowned when he remembered where they came from. “ROOOOOAAAAAR!” Looking up, Rin saw that the monster noticed him. Must be the fire. What happened next, was that the giant bear attempted to squash Rin. Yet to the half-demon, the foot came down in slow motion. He speed out of the way of the foot, baffling the giant bear. He had to figure out how to beat the bear. Then he knew what to do. “Take this!” Rin swiped the sword in an arc and, just like he thought, a huge wave of blue fire erupted. The flames washed over the bears legs. And a loud cry of pain followed. “RAAAAAWWWWW!” “I got you now!” Rin smirked at his injured foe. He now didn’t look at the giant bear as an enemy, but as prey. THE END.
