It was a peaceful day in PonyVille as usual, the birds tweeting, and ponies were enjoying themselves with without a care in the world.However even in these times of peace, there is always something dark brewing in the shadows; plotting its revenge, waiting for just the right moment to strike to bring about Days of Darkness

Three years had passed since Nightmare Moon had been deafeted by the wielders of the elements and they have each began to live very different life styles.
Fluttershy had left PonyVille when she joined an animal sanctuary which was in critical need of help; the recent death of the previous owner forced the most of the staff to leave but Fluttershy refused to leave her animal friends sticking with them to the end.
Pinkie pie moved to Manehatten where she met Suprise Bang and they worked together to start up their own party planner bussines. Rarity now works with Photo Finish, making her constantly on the move and only showing up every other year when they drop off a new line of fashion.
Rainbow Dash finally got to join the WonderBolts her recent promotion to captian has made her life easier meaning she has to fly less and can visit her friends more.
Twilight Sparkle with a heavy heart returned to her studies in Canterlot after the library and herself were vandalised.
This leaves us with Applejack, who still works on Sweet Apple Acres but seemed to be affected the worst.The harmony has been shaken but still stays within each of them but slowly it fades.

It was a usual day in Canterlot for the royal guard patrol, but there was a new guard today. Young, but something stuck out about him, he looked like your average guard but his coat was blue and his armor white, usually the royal guards are white with a blue mane and golden armor. He caught a couple of glances from other guards, but besides that, nothing out of the ordinary. "So, where'd you come from?" asked the guard beside him.
"Ever heard of Isoscar?" he said sighing, he'd been through this too many times.
"Uhh, I don't think so."
"Nobody ever has." the blue guard thought as he went back to watching the empty hall. He looked around noticing some of the artwork that covered the white walls but what really caught his eye were the markings on the pilliars the stood all down the hall, they depicted an ancient battle of some sorts but he never got the time to study them.
The two stood quietly for a while as the occasinoal noble or maid passed by but then an explosion could be heard from the other side of the hall. The two guards took battle stances as four dark figures could be made from the smoke.
"HALT, WHO GOES THER-ARRRGGGHHH!" screamed the guard as a dark peagsus materialized beside him sticking their hoof in his eye socket.
"GET OFF OF HIM!" screamed the blue guard as he jamp forward and headbutted the peagsus causing it to dissipate.
"I'm impressed you managed to defeat one of my shadow ponies in a meer blow." came a dark almost seductive voice from the smoke.
"Great a summoner that's all I nee.." he stopped as a dark figure loommed in front of him almost twice his height.
"However while strong you scare to easily." a dark aura surrounded the guard pulling him slowly towards the creature.
"Any last words?" it said whispering into his ear.
"Buck yo.." he was sent flying through the throne room doors and out of the wall before he could finish his sentence.

All over Canterlot panic had broke out as ponies heard explosions and the guards began houting and directing people out of the main city while dark figures appeared then disappeared into the shadows, picking up ponies and taking them to the unknown. Twilight Sparkle was just one of the many among the chaos of the demons as she ran trying to reach the throne room, she was forced to stop as three of the demons appeared in front of her arms out stretch ready to grab her.
"Get back, I have magic and know how to use it." her horn began to glow the usual purple colour but quickly three strands of magic shot attaching themselves to the creatures.
"And shock." she thought as she pumped her magic into the strands causing the creatures to scream in pain as their entire bodies began to shake and spaz as the magic started an unstoppable flow through their organs. Twilight crouched down and covered her earsto try and block out the blood curling cries as the creatures somehow managed to fly into the air before exploding.
"Good, now I should try and get to Celestia." she thought as she continued to run deeper into the city.

The guard recovered himself while in mid-air, he had no idea what the buck was going on. With some struggle he managed to recall the events that had transpired,he remembered the black peagsus, being picked up an thrown through the throne room and the four figures and that one that threw him had used magic. After a few moments the guard decided to look down, regretting it almost instantly as he saw he was almost about to hit the ground when *SLAM* the guard slammed into the ground.
He got up thinking "That could have killed a normal pony… good thing I’m not a normal pony”. He turned as he heard a noise coming from some nearby bushes, notcing a near a lone figure standing in the shadows. As the figure approached the guard realized who it was as he saw a familiar brush of hair "Rainbow Dash?"
"The one and only." replied a familiar voice "So how's things been going at the castl- OMG!" Dash screamed as a black figure appeared behind the guard, who responded sticking his left hoof towards the attacker freezing it instantly, he turned around and kicked it full force causing it to topple over and shatter.
"That was awesome!" Dash shouted "…" the guard just stood there with an empty look in his eyes “Are you the-" Dash was interrupted by the sudden collapse of the guard “Dam, this guy feels ice cold” she murmured to herself as she picked him up.
