Scootaloo had been at the Police Academy for three months now, and with graduation coming up she was even closer to her dream. She yawned as she woke up one morning and straightened out her mane.

"Hey Scootaloo, are you up?" Her roommate Windswept asked as she poked her head in, she was another Pegasus Pony, this one with dark brown hair and a black mane and tail.

"Yeah, I'm..." Scootaloo said before she felt sick to her stomach and ran into the bathroom to throw up.

"Uh, Scoots, are you okay?" Windswept asked, Scootaloo had been throwing up a lot lately, but she wasn't sick.

"I'm fine... Scootaloo groaned as she came out again. "What the heck is wrong with me?"

"Hmmm..." Windswept said as she examined the mare. "When was your last estrus?"

"That's, kind of personal don't you think?" Scootaloo asked, blushing heavily. "It was, last month."

"I think you need to see a Doctor," Windswept said. "Just a hunch."

"Oh please, I'm fine, its probably just a stomach bug or something," Scootaloo said, but maybe Windswept was right. She had been dating Sky Walker for a couple of months now, and last month... no, she couldn't be, could she? "Okay, I'll go see Dr. Stream after school."

"Good," Windswept said with a smile. "Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be okay."

Scootaloo smiled back, she just had to hope that she was right.

Doctor Gulf Stream was a Pegasus doctor in Manehattan that worked with the Police Academy. Today had been a pretty slow day up until Scootaloo had come asking for an appointment.

"So, you've been throwing up almost every day?" Gulf Stream asked as she examined the Pegasus Mare.

"Yeah, that's right," Scootaloo said with a nod.

"Any other symptoms, dizziness or stomach pain maybe?" the Doctor asked. "And your last estrus was last month?"

"Both actually, and yes," Scootaloo said nervously. "What's wrong with me Doctor?"

"Well, its hard to tell right now without tests, but there is a way we could find out, if you're okay with it," Gulf Stream said. "Dr. Daffodil can, confirm or disprove my suspicions."

"Okay, I want to know," Scootaloo said nervously.

"I'll just be a minute," Gulf Stream said and headed out of the room, Scootaloo was suddenly very nervous about what was going on.

She had an idea of what they were going to say, but she didn't want to think about that possibility. She didn't know how she'd tell Sky Walker, or her parents for that matter... no, it couldn't be that, right?

Gulf Stream came in a few minutes later with a yellow Pegasus in tow.

"Just stay calm Miss. Dash," the Unicorn said as her horn started glowing yellow and the magic enveloped Scootaloo for a moment. After a minute the glow faded and she took a deep breath. "Miss. Dash, I'm, not sure how to say this, but you're pregnant."

"Are you sure?" Scootaloo asked and the Unicorn nodded.

"I'm sure," she answered, Scootaloo just looked down at her hooves, she was going to have a lot of explaining to do.

A few days passed, she hadn't told anypony except for Windswept, at least not yet. Rainbow and Fluttershy showed up for her graduation of course, and she was ready to tell them.

"Hey Squirt, great job, I knew you could do it!" Rainbow said with a smile. "So what's next for Manehattan's most awesome new police officer?"

"Well, I've got an assignment with the 38th Precinct," Scootaloo said nervously. "But, I'm going to have to be working a desk for awhile."

"Oh, is everything okay Scootaloo?" Fluttershy asked in her soft voice.

"I, went to the doctor a few days ago..." Scootaloo said nervously. "I'm, pregnant."

Rainbow squealed in happiness as she hugged her adopted daughter. "That's great, who's the father?"

"Uh, Sky Walker," Scootaloo said. "We've been dating a couple of months now, I, don't know how to tell him."

"Isn't that him over there?" Fluttershy asked as she pointed at Sky Walker, who was talking with another cadet.

"Yeah... I, might as well tell him..." Scootaloo said and walked over to her boyfriend to talk to him.

"Do you think she's going to be okay, Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked. "I mean, she's only barely an adult..."

"Don't worry Flutters, she's going to be just fine," Rainbow said. "I have faith in her."

Fluttershy nodded, and smiled as they saw Sky Walker kneeling before Scootaloo.

Things were going to be just fine.
