The situation is now dire at Skylander Academy, not only did Kaos betray them and take over the Ultimate Weapon, he has also set his sights on the Royal Sisters and is now attempting to defeat them for good. But that’s not all, thanks to Celestia and Luna’s brief confrontation with him; they also discovered that he somehow managed to get control of EQG Dark Spyro, the tank-bred human version of Dark Spyro. Flynn was basically pointing out,
“How do you like that? The second evilest guy ever in Skylands actually evil-y betrayed us! I gotta tell ya – I did not see that one coming. And he somehow managed to control the Human Dark Spyro that was grown in a vat to fight us.”
Soon enough, Adagio approached and asked, “How…how did Kaos control him?” Master Eon soon flashed in and spoke,
“I know the cause behind Kaos’ control over EQG Dark Spyro.” He used his magic to show an image of Kaos in his Traptanium powered form,
“The gem that Kaos is holding is EQG Dark Spyro’s soul gem.”
Buzz soon spoke, “But, a Soul Gem is the source of a Skylander’s power. How could this one control EQG Dark Spyro?”
Eon soon leaned his head and said with a sad tone, “It’s a Dark Soul Gem, it’s a soul gem that is meant to be in possession of the bearer at all times. When Kaos took hold of it, the tank-bred human was under his command…against his will.”
Cali realized, “So Kaos mind controlled him…but besides mind control, what differs a Dark Soul Gem from a regular one?”
Eon replied, “The Dark Soul Gem has the mind control effect on the bearer if anyone else holds it. But it all depends on the emotions of the bearer alone, if someone that the bearer cares about takes hold of the soul gem, the bearer would not fall under mind control.”
Buzz spoke, “So the Skylanders will have to fight Kaos in order to get that soul gem.”
Eon shook his head, “Remember the war-torn future that Echo Squadron journeyed to?”
Buzz realized, “Yes, I remember. It involves the human Spike fighting Kaos alone.”
Eon nodded, “If we are to change the future that they spoke of, Echo Squadron must survive this fight.”
Buzz was now sure and said, “But now since Kaos has fused with Traptanium, he has limitless power. We must stop Kaos before he charges himself up even further! If we don’t, the Princesses will be in danger, even you are in danger!”
Eon smiled, “I’ve braved losing a body and gaining a new one in the process, Buzz. Whatever Kaos is planning, I will see it to the end.”
Buzz smiled and then said, “I’ll go inform Echo Squadron.” He soon turned to Adagio, “You know the human Dark Spyro, and so you’re going with them for this assault.”
The dazzling soon followed the veteran to the hanger where Echo Squadron was.
At the hanger, EQG Spike looked up at the battle station and flashed into that foreseeable moment of Kaos impaling him through the chest. Soon enough, that voice from the back of his head spoke,
“You fear that moment of Kaos killing you, do you?”
EQG Spike said, “Yes, I do.”
The voice stated, “The reason why Kaos killed you in your vision was because of the disintegration of your two friends that was told in the future.”
EQG Spike asked, “What are you saying?”
The voice replied, “Your friends dying left you vulnerable for Kaos to finish you off.”
EQG Spike realized, “So you’re saying that I need to fight Kaos…alone?”
The voice noticed the fright in his voice, “It may seem strange, but you are the only one with the power to defeat Kaos for good.”
EQG Spike asked, “But who are you and why am I hearing you?”
The voice stated, “Who I am is not important, not yet. But for why you are hearing me…” EQG Spike’s pocket was glowing, “The power now calls to you, Spike.”
EQG Spike pulled out the box that Eon gave him and opened it up revealing a device that could help him get an edge over Kaos.
Soon enough, Echo Squadron, the Trap Masters Snap Shot, Lob-Star, Gear Shift, Jawbreaker, Wallop, Wildfire, Krypt King, Knight Mare and Knight Light, The Doom Raiders and the Dazzlings stood in the hanger as Buzz spoke,
“Okay, Strike Team, we need to get onboard that battle station and stop Kaos before he uses the Traptanium that’s onboard that thing to become unstoppable.”
Wolfgang asked, “So why are we here?”
Buzz spoke, “Since it was you guys that built it you must know the layout of the station. Hopefully, we would find a way to destroy it.”
Dr. Krankcase realized, “Quite the irony to destroy the weapon that we built.”
Jawbreaker spoke, “Don’t worry about it, we’ll be helping out.”
Gear Shift joined, “You guys know the technical readouts of that battle station.”
Buzz spoke, “The next part you guys need to worry about is the human Dark Spyro. Kaos has him under mind control due to his soul gem being in the Dark Portal Master’s possession.”
Gulper asked, “How are we supposed to stop something that powerful?”
Snap Shot thought of something, “Although EQG Dark Spyro is powerful, he can be outsmarted. If he can be outsmarted, he can be knocked out and rendered incapacitated.”
Golden Queen asked, “What about Kaos?”
EQG Spike spoke, “I’ll handle Kaos.”
Dreamcatcher shrugged, if she had a body, “I would’ve liked to give that creep a piece of my mind. But a head can dream can it?”
Krypt King knew for certain, “This is going to be the battle to determine the fate of Skylands.”
EQG Legendary Spyro spoke, “And the future as well…” He turned to his crew, “Echo Squadron, stay alive out there.”
Buzz finished, “All right, Strike Team. Get to your ships while Echo Squadron prepares for take-off.”
Soon enough, Echo Squadron got to their copters while the others went to board Flynn’s ship.
Echo Squadron took off and joined up with Flynn’s ship that was carrying the nine Trap Masters while the Doom Raiders were taking the Chef Zeppelin. All ships formed up on the copters as EQG Legendary Spyro contacted every ship,
“All ships report in!”
EQG Drobot spoke, “Echo 2 standing by!”
EQG Terrafin spoke, “Echo 3 standing by!”
EQG Camo spoke, “Echo 4 standing by!”
Sonata reported, “Echo 5 standing by!"
EQG Spike spoke, “Echo 6 standing by!”
Flynn reported, “Boom Pilot standing by!
Chef Pepperjack, who was operating the zeppelin reported, “Doom Raiders standing by!”
Once all ships reported in EQG Legendary Spyro remembered something he learned from the future,
“Okay guys, listen up. We can’t do an all-out attack on the battle station because Kaos would activate the air defense weaponry and there would be casualties on our end. Our plan is to land on that thing and get inside the station and find EQG Dark Spyro. Spike will handle Kaos while we deal with Dark Spyro.”
The Chef spoke, “I know a good landing site. There’s a loading area near the weapon.”
Flynn noticed, “Yeah, I see it too.”
All of a sudden there was a yelping sound on EQG Spike’s end as Flynn asked, “Hey Spike, is there something wrong on your end?”
The human Spike replied, “I’m fine, but I just found two stowaways in my copter. It’s the Twilight and Rarity from my universe.”
EQG Legendary Spyro realized, “Why are they…” He realized, “Well, we need all the help we can get.”
Soon enough, the ships landed while the copters went into walker mode. As EQG Spike’s copter went into walker mode, the cockpit opened revealing EQGs Twilight and Rarity inside with EQG Spike. He said,
“I’d ask why you two are here, but we have no time to lose.” Before the two girls could say anything, the walker lowered the cockpit head down to the ground as the girls got out of the craft. EQG Spike just said,
“Stay close to the team.” The canopy closed as the strike team formed up. They were about to move forward until a voice shouted as a mabu came running and stopped in front of the Golden Queen,
“Greetings your majesty! My name is Noobry, Dr. Noobry now. I was hoping if you could help get my Piggybank-o-Matic 3001 dispense treasure? Which will hopefully lead me to finally getting a patent.”
The Golden Queen asked, “A device that dispenses treasure?”
Krypt King joined in, “I noticed another device close to our landing site, no doubt that there are others scattered throughout this station.”
The Queen accepted as she focused her gold power on the piggybank-o-matic as the device activated and spat out treasure until it was finished. Dr. Noobry was thrilled,
“You did it! Ooh, I am going to make a fortune selling these things! Oh and please, enjoy the treasury fruits of your labor, my Queen. And a little something extra.”
Soon enough, the Golden Queen felt her power build up as a flash occurred and her attire changed from gold to a type that most recognize as Krypt King said,
“By the bones, it’s Platinum!”
The Queen looked at herself, “I’ve heard of this type before. But how could it be like this?”
Krypt King placed a hand on her shoulder, “You’ve evolved and redeemed yourself like your fellow Doom Raiders have done before you.”
Golden Queen smiled at the knight’s statement as she said, “Thank you, Krypt King.” She now remembered their mission, “Now we don’t have time to lose. We need to get inside the weapon.”
Soon enough, the team ran up the stairs towards a Super Bounce Pad where a mobile loudspeaker approached them as a familiar voice spoke,
“Stop Right There, Skylanders! Oh, you may have thought that I was on your side but it was all part of my brilliant plan! Wait – why am I even talking to you?”
He soon shifted his voice to the sky as he shouted, “Attention Pony Princesses! Can you hear me? I assume the answer is “Yes” and that you are too paralyzed by fear to respond. Well don’t bother of sending your miserable pests to try and stop me. I am growing even more powerful by the second; making your horrible, inevitable fates even more horribly inevitable! HAHAHAHA!”
Chef Pepperjack shook his head, “He just loves to run his mouth.”
EQG Twilight spoke, “It doesn’t matter if he runs his mouth or not, we need to stop him before he unleashes his power on the Princesses!”
The ground team stepped onto the Super Bounce Pad as Echo Squadron went into flight mode and flew over to the receiving area as the squadron reverted back to their walker modes. That loudspeaker appeared again,
“Hey! Looks like those Princesses didn’t listen to me! So now I’m going to take it out on all of you! MINIONS ATTACK!!”
EQG Legendary Spyro spoke once Kaos’ forces started to attack, “Snap Shot, Wolfgang! Range Attacks!”
The Trap Master and Werewolf nodded as Snap Shot fired his Traptanium Arrows while Wolfgang used his painful music notes.
Lob-Star and Dreamcatcher used their powers in water and dreams to cut down more of Kaos’ minions.
Krypt King and Golden Queen used their powers to leave Kaos’ forces either thrashing about due to swarms or stiff due to being hit by the Queen’s staff.
A remainder of Kaos’ minions was cut down by Sonata’s walker. Once it was over, a bounce pad opened as the team found a way inside the battle station and entered a relay station with a pulse puzzle as that loudspeaker appeared again,
“You fools! Even if you could figure out how to solve my pulse puzzles – which you can’t, defeat all my minions – which you won’t, AND find me, there’s no way you’ll be able to save your poor Princesses from their terrible fate! HAHAHAHAHA!!”
In the Portal Chamber, the image that showed the team switched to an image of Kaos in his Traptanium form with his finger pressed on a button as he laughed,
“My Power is growing, Princesses! Soon I will crush your pitiful Skylosers, that miserable Loser Squadron and then – I’M COMING AFTER YOU TWO!!” Glumshanks spoke in the background,
“Uh sir, you really need to take your finger off the button when you’re done taunting. It’s a ‘Push to Taunt’ button you know?”
Kaos yelled, “Quiet Fool! I knew that!”
Celestia shook her head, “Clearly you did not.” Kaos heard her, “Quiet Celestia! Just keep in mind that once your Skylanders are dead then you and your sister are next!”
Luna yelled at the little guy and said a very un-princess like statement, “Well thou can kiss thy cutie marked flanks, Fowl Fiend!”
Kaos didn’t know what to think, but he put on his confident look to hide what he was thinking as he pressed the button and switched back to the team. Which at that time, they completed the first puzzle as they progressed their way through the station. The team continued fighting enemies as they progressed further throughout the station until they reached the top as Snap Shot opened a gate, that loudspeaker appeared as Kaos said,
“Okay, remember when I said that it was too late to stop me? Well now it’s even later than that! And whatever you do, DON’T hit that button!”
Snap Shot sensed that it was a trap as he stood back. EQG Spike decided to hit the button even though he knew that it was a trap. The team stood back as the walker hit the button as the floor gave way and dropped the walker down into the lower levels of the battle station.
EQG Twilight and Rarity yelled in worry, “SPIKE!”
Kaos taunted, “I can’t believe one of you FELL for that one – LITERALLY!” The walker shifted back into a copter as it went to jet-mode as it dived down and reverted back to walker-mode. EQG Spike contacted,
“I’m fine; I’ve landed on a repair platform down here!”
Knowing that there friend was safe, the rest of the team jumped down to meet him. There were still enemies all over the place, so they still had to fight and push their way to up to Kaos. They defeated the minions that were in the repair station and moved their way out to the External Power Sorter.
The team hitched a ride on the walkers as Echo Squadron boosted through the power pulses with the walker’s incredible speed. The team solved another one of those pulse puzzles and went up the ramp to find Buzz waiting by a gate,
“Hey team, you guys don’t mind if I pitch in to blow this thing sky high would ya?”
EQG Legendary Spyro replied, “We can use the help.” Buzz pointed to the gate, “I need to place explosives on the circuit breakers…but they are on the other side of this gate. I need you to find Smoke Scream, Capture him and send him my way to help destroy the gate.”
The leader of Echo Squadron nodded, “Got it.” But before the crew moved on, Buzz stopped them,
“Be careful when going after Smoke Scream, my Secret Ninja Commando senses say that EQG Dark Spyro is somewhere close-by.”
Soon enough, the team progressed further into the battle station, immediately running into a troll with a flame-throwing troll walker as he said,
“Where there’s smoke…” He didn’t finish his phrase since Echo Squadron defeated him as EQG Camo finished,
“They Pinch Back!”
Wildfire approached the downed villain, “Smoke Scream, I presume.”
Smoke Scream nodded, “Yeah, that’s me.”
EQG Legendary Spyro spoke, “You’ve been defeated by us, Smoke Scream. And now we need your help.”
Smoke Scream asked, “Already?! No Capture Sequence? No voices from those Princesses?”
EQG Drobot spoke, “Now is not the time, we need you to help our friend, Buzz destroy a gate guarding the circuit breakers for this station.”
Smoke Scream reluctantly said, “Alright, but I still get to shoot stuff, right?”
Wildfire spoke, “Only the bad guys.” Smoke Scream got up and said, “I’m on my way!” The troll left as EQG Legendary Spyro spoke to EQG Spike,
“I think it’s time that you take it from here, Spike.”
EQG Spike asked, “What do you mean?”
EQG Legendary Spyro’s walker ‘head’ tilted upward as he said, “Because we found our target.” The team looked up and spotted EQG Dark Spyro looking at them from a railing with his purple eyes staring down at them. He looked at the team and said,
“So, it has come down to this. My creators, my enemies, all here to get to Kaos. Pathetic, especially for those that grew me in that tank.”
He eyed the walkers, “Legend, get out of that walker! You and me will fight, one-on-one and no distractions!”
EQG Legendary Spyro jumped out of his walker as EQG Dark Spyro leapt from the railing and landed in front of the team. Both rivals faced each other as the EQG Leg. Spyro said,
“You don’t have to do this, Dark.”
EQG Dark Spyro asked, “Would you strike me down by surprise?” He chuckled, “And here I thought you were supposed to be clever.”
EQG Legendary Spyro shook his head, “No, we want to take you away from this place! But Kaos has control over you and he’s using you for your power because he’s weak. Once he absorbs the Traptanium on this station, he’ll toss you aside!”
EQG Dark Spyro struck with his jagged swords in anger as Legend deflected the attack, the Dark EQG asked,
“Are you saying that I am a slave to Lord Kaos!?”
EQG Legendary Spyro stated as he stood in a defensive stance in case his rival attacked, “We know that you are being controlled by him. To him, he is your master and you are his slave, an underling compared to him!”
EQG Dark Spyro yelled, “Shut Up!” He struck again, but Legend jumped over him and drop-kicked his back which staggered his rival a bit.
As for EQG Spike, he saw this opportunity to go on without the team while they deal with Dark Spyro.
EQG Spike reached an area called ‘The Grinder’ which had a complicated pulse puzzle all over the place. Just as he was about to move, that same loudspeaker appeared as Kaos’ voice said in frustration,
“UGH! Seriously? You again? But it seems that you are on your own for now on…I suppose your idiot friends ran into my Dark Guardian. But seriously, don’t you know when you’re beaten?”
He described the puzzle, “Well this next pulse puzzle should drive the point home! And speaking of home…”
The Portal’s image soon changed to Kaos in his terrible Traptanium form, “Surprise Princesses, it’s me again, KAOS!! And I have an update…” He began speaking like a spokesperson, “This just in…” he pointed to the Princesses in his regular voice, “You’re both DOOMED!!! That’s right; I have mildly complete control of your Traptanium Portal! Ready…” He pulled out a remote, “BEHOLD!!” he pushed the button as he taunted,
“So, he does that make you feel, eh? Scared? Powerless? TOTALLY AT MY MERCY!!!”
Princess Celestia had an unamused look as she said, “You should remember who you are dealing with, Kaos.”
Kaos asked, “A namby-pamby pony Princess who is now at my mercy?” Before she could reply,
Kaos stated, “Because soon I would have complete-COMPLETE control. And when I do, I will trap you and your sister in Traptanium! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Prepare to spend an eternity as a fitting trophy of my ULTIMATE VICTORY!! HAHAHAHA!!”
And soon Princess Luna stuck her head into the portal once again, saying a fitting insult to Kaos. Celestia didn’t know what Luna said, but judging that Kaos was blown to the back of the room as he covered his ears, Luna used her Royal Canterlot Voice on the midget.
The image switched back to EQG Spike completing the pulse puzzle and getting through the grinder to the upper exterior of the station. EQG Spike moved his walker on the platforms of the station as he solved a pulse puzzle which activated a spinning gear with platforms on it. As he used the walker’s hover mode to jump from platform to platform, that voice in his head said,
“There is a lift at the top of these platforms; it will take you straight to Kaos. Keep in mind, once you board the lift, there is no turning back.”
EQG Spike asked as the walker reached the top where the lift was, “Are you sure I can beat him?”
The voice spoke, “Even with all of his power, he can still be defeated like any other.”
EQG Spike was scared, “But my vision…” The voice finished, “Remember what I told you, Spike. Your vision happened when your friends died.”
EQG Spike realized, “Maybe it was just fear of failing.” He soon looked at the blue gauntlet on his left wrist, “When should I use it?”
The voice replied, “I would let you know when the time is right.” EQG Spike decided to leave his walker and tapped a button on his belt to signal the walker to transform and fly back to the Academy. EQG Spike was equipped with a blaster rifle and a pistol for ranged attacks and he has a sword for duels.
As he readied his weapons and stepped into the lift as it took him to Kaos. EQG Spike entered the arena where Kaos was and by the looks of it the arena looked like it was stuck in a rift corridor as the little guy looked mockingly frightened,
“Oh no! It’s a Skylander! That means the others are here! Okay, okay I give up!” EQG Spike was not fazed by this charade as Kaos laughed,
“Fooled you, I was totally kidding right there, Skyloser! Anyway, you are TOO LATE! There is nothing you can do to stop me from capturing your miserable Pony Princesses!”
EQG Spike yelled, “I came here to stop this madness forever and see you behind bars!”
Kaos asked, “You? Defeat Me? All by yourself?” He laughed, “You are nothing, I shall defeat YOU!”
Kaos soon enlarged himself while transforming into his more powerful version of his Traptanium form, “But since you have now chosen to interfere with my Ultimate Evil Traptanium Powered Victory! I would be more than happy to destroy you first.”
EQG Spike looked at his foe as he gripped his blaster rifle, “So Kaos, you show your True Traptanium Form!”
Kaos laughed as he sent out shockwaves all over the arena as the human Spike dodged the waves. He trained his rifle on the Traptanium Powered monster and opened fire as several blue blaster pulses hit Kaos. The fool even stopped to taunt EQG Spike which left him open to an attack from his sword straight to his Traptanium face. But he shrugged as he taunted,
“It’s a shame that you could not be on the winning side, Spike.”
EQG Spike replied as he fired his rifle, “I am ON the winning side, Kaos. You are just keeping us from ending this war!” EQG Spike’s rifle shots hit Kaos again as the Portal Master sent out more shockwaves which the human dodged easily. Kaos had a barrier that prevented EQG Spike from getting close to him, but it didn’t stop the shots from his rifle from getting through to Kaos as damage was done to the overconfident portal master.
When the barrier fell, EQG Spike brought out his sword and slashed at Kaos, dealing damage to him. After so many attacks, Kaos decided to turn his attention to the Princesses,
“Now it is time, Princesses, to pull both of you into my world and deal with you once and for all! Hold still now!” He reached his hand into a rift as he grinned evilly until he pulled his hand back in shock as he clenched his hand in pain,
“OW!! WHY YOU LITTLE!!” While Kaos was distracted; EQG Spike pulled out a bomb and threw it at Kaos. It exploded as it dealt damage to Kaos as he was throwing a tantrum,
“Stupid Princesses! No matter, I will deal with you before trying again!”
Kaos soon summoned his elemental bullet attack as he yelled “FIRE BULLETS! MAGIC BULLETS!”
Soon enough, the Fire Bullets moved directly towards EQG Spike as the voice spoke,
“You need to bring in a villain that matches the Fire Element, quick!”
EQG Spike shouted, “CHEF PEPPERJACK, I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE!” Soon enough, the chef appeared as the Fire Bullets were destroyed by him. The Magic Bullets approached as EQG Spike absorbed them as well, the chef spoke,
“Whenever you need help with his bullets, just call one of us!” EQG Spike nodded as the chef vanished. Kaos also took damage due to blaster fire from the human Spike’s weapon. Kaos soon started another elemental bullet attack,
“Now cower in fear at…LIFE BULLETS! MAGIC BULLETS!”
The Life Bullets appeared first as EQG Spike summoned the Chompy Mage to deal with the bullets while EQG Spike dealt with the Magic Bullets. Both actually did damage to Kaos before the Chompy Mage vanished. Kaos said,
“This is no way to treat your destroyer!”
He tried another Elemental Bullet attack with Tech and Magic, but it was the same result, EQG Spike summons Dr. Krankcase to deal with the Tech Bullets. They still did damage to Kaos while he was vulnerable before the doc had to return to the others.
Kaos summoned those shockwaves once again and still took damage from EQG Spike’s blaster fire. This made the portal master say in frustration,
“Why won’t you stay still and let me destroy you!? Didn’t you hear that it was pointless to resist?”
EQG Spike was too busy shooting Kaos to respond to his question. The Traptanium Powered Portal Master summoned another Elemental Bullet attack with Magic and Water but was shot down by EQG Spike when he summoned Gulper. After Gulper went back with the others, Kaos sent out more shockwaves and did another Elemental Bullet attack with Air and Magic causing EQG Spike to summon Dreamcatcher as the duo destroyed the bullets and did damage to Kaos before the Air Doom Raider went back to the others. Soon enough, Kaos started to summon his Doom Sharks as he said,
“Feel the power of my pretty Doom Sharks!”
EQG Spike managed to avoid the sharks as much as he could; he even got in close to one of them to avoid it which healed him of any injuries that he sustained. When all of the sharks passed, Kaos said in anger,
“Hey stop cheating, that’s MY job!”
EQG Spike smiled, “It’s not cheating when you’re using weapons to fight dark magic!”
Kaos sneered and summoned his shockwaves as the human dodged them with ease while opening fire on Kaos as the Traptanium Powered monster was fantasizing on his victory,
“Ah, Ultimate Traptanium Powered Emperor Kaos, Overlord of Skylands! I like the sound of that!”
EQG Spike spoke as he continued to fire on him, “How about ‘Overlord of Insanely Long Titles!’ I mean do you ever quit with those things as well as talking about yourself?”
After dealing a considerable amount of damage to Kaos, the portal master moved into the center of the arena as he began to charge himself up, healing himself in the process while gaining two large Traptanium blades as he taunted,
“Your ridiculous attacks only serve to amuse me!” He slashed at EQG Spike as the blades destroyed his blaster rifle, causing the EQG to pull out his pistol. The portal master now stated,
“Now I, Kaos, have a show of my own and believe me, it has a punchline that would BRING DOWN THE HOUSE!”
Kaos summoned those shockwaves once again as EQG Spike fired his blaster pistol at Kaos as the portal master actually felt the shots hitting him as he said,
“Lucky shot, Spike!”
Kaos soon moved to the other side of the battle zone as the voice warned EQG Spike,
“Watch out, Kaos is going to slash straight at you! Dodge him, quick!”
EQG Spike jumped out of the way as Kaos slashed his massive blades in a straight line. Kaos was soon shot at by EQG Spike’s blaster pistol. The portal master decided to turn his attention to the Princesses,
“Why don’t you just give up, Princesses? Surrender your stupid Skylander and let me destroy you and your miserable Equestria once and for all. I promise it would be…very horrible!” He reached his hand into the rift as he started screaming in pain as he was being electrocuted from the rift before retracting his hand as he clenched it again.
Princess Luna stuck her head out of the rift as she was holding a huge hand buzzer as she said,
“Shocking, is it not, fiend?” She retreated back into the rift.
Kaos was really throwing a temper tantrum like an immature child as he yelled, “Gah! Tricked again by those Princesses!”
He was soon hit again by blaster fire from EQG Spike’s pistol until Kaos was weakened. The majority of it came from when he gripped the hand buzzer. The rest of it came from EQG Spike’s blaster pistol, so he pulled the pistol out of EQG Spike’s hands as he said,
“I can’t have you using this little ‘peashooter’ to interrupt my ultimate victory!”
He clenched his fist on the pistol, destroying it in front of EQG Spike. The portal master soon moved to the center of the arena once again as he charged up again,
“Power! I MUST HAVE MORE POWER!!”
The power of the Traptanium caused Kaos to sprout dark Traptanium feathered wings as he laughed evilly. The Traptanium Powered Portal Master said,
“Even when I am powered up to the point where I would be invincible, YOU still persist to try and stop me! But as you can see, I CANNOT BE STOPPED!!”
EQG Spike pulled out his sword, “Traptanium might be the ultimate power, but you have no abilities beyond looking like a monster and summoning those old tricks of yours.”
Kaos yelled “I’ll make you eat those words when I ultimately defeat you. Now human Spike…” He rose up into the air as several Traptanium Swords formed around him,
“Behold My Ultimate Attack! These Traptanium Swords will spell your FINAL DOOM!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!”
EQG Spike saw the swords skid across the floor, leaving lasers in their wake. EQG Spike dodged the lasers released by the swords as he swung his sword at Kaos as the two began to duel. EQG Spike used Kaos’ larger size to avoid the sword attacks as it only aggravated Kaos even more as EQG Spike struck Kaos in the left wrist causing the portal master to drop the Traptanium sword that he was holding.
The portal master soon used his right sword to try and fight EQG Spike, but the human was moving too fast as Kaos said,
“Stay still and let me DESTROY YOU!!!”
As EQG Spike dodged the sword attacks, the voice in the back of his head spoke, “This form shows that he’s desperate and is unleashing all of his powers to stop you! It will now be the time to use it!”
EQG Spike dodged another attack from Kaos’ swords until he was suddenly grabbed by the dark portal master and held in his left hand. Kaos looked at his foe and said,
“I should be applauding you right now, since you managed to survive this long.”
EQG Spike guessed, “I guess I might be a worthy opponent for you.”
Kaos laughed, “Worthy? You? HA!! You are in my clutches and I am going to be squeezing the life out of you.” He began to squeeze as he spoke,
“Spyro, Twilight, your dragon counterpart and your princesses will all be trapped in Traptanium. And it will all start once you are dealt with, I must admit, I haven’t had this much fun since I first destroyed that stupid Core of Light and now it all comes to an end!”
The voice soon yelled out loud as it echoed, “NOW!”
EQG Spike activated the gauntlet as he yelled, “TRAPTANIUM WAVE CHANGE! SPIKE POWER UP!!” The gauntlet started to glow as a strange song emitted from it.
Kaos caught this as he said in shock,
“What…what is this?”
EQG Spike was released from Kaos’ grip as he became a flash of light. He went a few meters away from Kaos as the light faded as the voice spoke,
“ARISE…MEGAMAN RANGER!”
The light revealed EQG Spike, wearing a special battle suit that was Traptanium blue, the gauntlets and boots were light blue with a hint of silver to it. The chest piece had the Magic symbol with inside what looks like a Traptanium Shard. The helmet possessed a light green visor that partially covered his eyes. His mouth was exposed as a part of his spiky hair stuck out of the back of the helmet. While feeling the power of his new self, he discovered the identity of the voice in his head,
“The Crafter?!”
Kaos was angry seeing this and yelled, “NO, THIS IS MY POWER AND MY POWER ALONE!!” Kaos was going to attack until his Traptanium swords slipped off of his hands and latched onto EQG Spike. The right sword turned into a Traptanium Tomahawk while the left sword turned into an Arm Cannon in the shape of a Dragon’s head. Kaos’ wings soon tore off and latched onto EQG Spike as they shifted into Dragon wings as a sign of EQG Spike’s Dragon heritage. He pointed his tomahawk at the portal master as he said,
“This is the end of the road, Kaos!” He charged forward as he swung his tomahawk yelling,
“SHATTER STRIKE!!”
The impact caused Kaos’ Traptanium form to shatter completely as Kaos himself appeared face down on the floor as the portal master pulled himself up with a look of fear. EQG Spike pointed his arm cannon at Kaos as he yelled,
“TRAP VORTEX!!!” The cannon soon opened a vortex that caused Kaos to be sucked into the arm cannon as he yelled,
“NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!”
Soon enough, he spotted EQG Dark Spyro’s soul gem and picked it up. He placed it in his pocket as he teleported into core of the battle station. He held up his arm cannon as it began to glow bright as he said,
“Now…Light Our Darkest Hour!!”
The cannon sparked as several shards of Traptanium from all over the station formed around EQG Spike as they went into the cannon. He sucked all of the Traptanium from the station, but before he had time to relax, an explosion erupted from the core. He knows for certain that he has to regroup with the others and get off the station before it blows.
There were explosions all over the station as a detached pipe hit EQG Dark Spyro in the head, knocking him out cold. EQG Twilight asked,
“Dr. Krankcase, what’s going on?!
The doc quickly explained, “The Traptanium is drained from the station and the stinkocity is overloading!”
Jawbreaker approached, “Now let’s get out of here!” The group soon started to run as fast as they could, with EQG Dark Spyro slung over Wallop’s shoulders. But as they were running, EQG Rarity stopped briefly and pointed,
“Look!” The group saw a figure running towards them with an explosion following way behind him. Once he was close enough, EQG Rarity realized who this was,
“Spike!?”
The Trap Masters and Doom Raiders were shocked by this since EQG Spike was in his new form. He stopped in front of the group as he yelled,
“All right gang…” A motorcycle with two sidecars appeared from the Traptanium shards in front of them as he went on it, “Grab a Traptanium Vehicle and Roll Out!” EQGs Twilight and Rarity were in the sidecars as Snap Shot and Wolfgang saw a vehicle form in front as the Croc said,
“I knew he had potential!”
The rest of the team boarded the vehicles provided by EQG Spike as the quickly escaped the battle station. They were spotted by Cali, who was on Flynn’s Ship as she said,
“There they are!”
Flynn looked, “Wowsers, they actually did it!” Looking at the station, a ship departed from the station, presumably Glumshanks as the Ultimate Weapon blew up in a tremendous explosion. The team soon landed at the Academy as Buzz was officially announcing the Grand Opening of Skylander Academy. He turned over the speaking to EQG Spike, who spoke,
“Let this mark the end of the Traptanium Wars as we move on to a time of peace and harmony! FOR ALL WORLDS!!”
The crowds cheered ‘For All Worlds’ several times as Buzz smiled knowing that the boy has given a rebirth to a legend that was lost for many years. As for EQG Dark Spyro, he regained consciousness and saw Adagio and because that annoying Portal Master no longer had control over him, he recognized Adagio and the dazzling hugged him, knowing that he’s back.
At the tomb of the First Trap Master, EQG Spike entered the tomb as he looked at the many flagged shards and walked up to the sarcophagus as he asked,
“Was this the power that you’ve wanted me to unleash?”
“It’s the same power that I used when I was alive.” Said a familiar voice that EQG Spike recognized. He wondered where it came from because it wasn’t from his head; it was like it was right near him. The voice spoke again,
“I’m on your left arm, Spike!” EQG Spike looked at his left arm and saw the arm cannon’s eyes moving as it spoke,
“Surprised, kid?” EQG Spike replied, “I’m very surprised that you’re on my arm!”
The cannon laughed, “I know, but now you see why I’ve guided you through that battle. It was meant for you to become what I once was.”
EQG Spike realized, “You’re the First Trap Master!?” The cannon replied with assurance, “That’s me, The Crafter as your friends call me, but you can call me Drago.”
EQG Spike asked, “So why Drago?”
Drago assured, “It was my name by birth. I know it is strange for a cheetah to have a draconic name. But when I lived through my life, discovered the Traptanium Shard and formed the Trap Team, it was worth it.”
EQG Spike asked, “So this is your resting place?”
Drago replied, “To be fair, it was my body’s resting place, but for me…it’s always been this gauntlet until you took possession of it.”
EQG Spike realized, “You’re a spirit?” Drago nodded, “I am a spirit, Spike. I also have something for you. It’s inside my sarcophagus.”
EQG Spike soon flashed back to normal as he approached the coffin and opened it up, revealing Drago’s body wrapped in linen with a strange pair of Traptanium Eye Wear on the torso of the body. He reached in and pulled out the eye wear, which looked like a pair of sunglasses until Drago’s voice said from the gauntlet,
“Wear them, Spike.”
As he put the glasses over his eyes, his vision changed and saw Drago in front of him as he backed away in shock. Drago had blue claws, torso and a draconic head with horns and green eyes. The inner portion of Drago was light blue with a spirit tail and the bottom. Drago asked,
“Impressed kid?”
EQG Spike replied, “I’m astonished that I can see you!”
Drago replied, “One of my last creations before I died. That visor not only allows you to see me, but also the roads that emanate from Traptanium.”
EQG Spike was confused until he looked up and saw several light blue energy roads emanating from the crystals. The boy was shocked, “I don’t believe it!”
Drago placed a hand on his shoulder, “What Kaos and the Doom Raiders didn’t understand is that there is more to Traptanium than meets the eye.”
EQG Spike asked, “I have one more question. Why did you call me Megaman?”
Drago replied, “The name suits your abilities.” Soon enough, the gauntlet opened to reveal a Trap Crystal with Kaos’ head on it as it said,
“Well, my reputation is ruined now. I guess I better be good for now on?”
Somewhere in the darkest reaches of Skylands, a pair of yellow eyes looked shocked and disappointed,
“So it has come to this…” It’s revealed to be Malefor, “My noble servant, Kaos…bound to Traptanium and a legend has been reborn. But like all things, his usefulness has come to an end.”
He turns to a vial that contained a dark substance, “Darkness, my old friend, there are somethings that the human Twilight loves. To study the science behind magic…when the time comes, her curiosity would be her greatest downfall and you will be there to ensure that happens as she soon falls under your control.”
He turns to an image of the Eternal Archives and observes Hugo as he laughs, “The bookworm of a mabu, his curiosity would bring forth a more promising ally of mine than Kaos ever was.” And he soon turned to an image of Spike the Dragon,
“This dragon has proven to be quite the nuisance and he refuses to accept the true role of his heritage. When we face each other again…I will show no mercy.”
