//------------------------------// // Fantasy in the Pale Moonlight // Story: Fantasy Misadventures // by Treppahcs //------------------------------// “Explain to me again why we’re doing again, Luna,” an alabaster skinned woman said, clutching her gold colored jacket tightly. Her multi bright colored hair blowing in the wind as she walked in the woods. “Tia, I told you about the rumors that were spreading about this place,” a blue haired woman said, as she used her flashlight to see the path ahead of them. “How some of our students come up here for some ‘fantasy’ or something.” Tia, or rather Celestia, sighed and said, “Yes, I’ve heard those rumors, but need I remind you that that’s all they are? Rumors.” Seeing her sister’s look, she continued saying, “But we’ll check this place out for a bit, then we leave.” Luna just said, “We’ll leave after we search the place for our students.” Celestia sighed at her sister’s stubbornness as she thought, Why can’t she just relax for once? “Do you even know where this place even is?” Celestia asked, as they walked through a couple of bushes. The path they were walking on was almost manmade. “The only thing that I heard is that it’s some abandoned house,” Luna said, moving a tree branch out of the way. Celestia followed her younger sister and said, “But the only place out here is the-” She saw an old mansion with an overgrown yard and the paint peeling off the walls. The old but expensive looking sports car in the drive had seen better days, as it had rust covering it. “...The Lightley Mansion.” “I remember that we came here a few times when we were younger. To think that the kids are coming here for who knows what,” Luna said, making her way to the front door. “Luna, we need to be careful when we’re in there,” Celestia said, following Luna towards the door. “I will,” Luna said, jiggling the doorknob as she tried opening the door. The door gave a slight creak as it opened, allowing them entrance. Walking inside, they saw the main entrance was a large foyer but saw no signs of life. “We should start looking around,” Luna said, as she walked to the door on the right and opened it. “We really… um... why do I bother?” Celestia said, looking at the desk to the right. Reaching her hand into her pocket, she pulled out a small pocket flashlight and turned it on. Looking past the desk, Celestia saw that there were a bunch of racks with coat hangers on them. “Tia, did you find anything?” Luna asked, from the other room. “All I looked at was the coat check room,” Celestia said, not wanting to be there. “Did you find anything?” “Just the library, and it’s in disarray.” Walking to the room Luna went into, Celestia saw what she meant by disarray. The library was coated in dust and cobwebs, while half the books littered the floor. “You weren’t kidding, Luna,” Celestia said, looking at the destroyed library. “Why don’t we look somewhere else? It doesn’t look like anyone's in the front here.” “We should check upstairs next, and then, we’ll leave,” Luna said, a bit tiredly. Walking up the stairs, the two sisters heard a loud thud. “Do you think someone’s here?” Celestia asked her younger sister, as the reached the top of the stairs. “We’ll find out it a moment,” Luna said, but stopped suddenly. “I think I hear something.” “Should be a little more careful.” “Sorry, I’ll try better next time.” “I think we found someone,” Luna whispered, while slowly walking towards the voices. Celestia silently followed, wondering who could the voices be. “It’s all right. Your company is appreciated though.” “Does… Does this mean we’re friends?” The two sisters felt that the second voice was familiar to them, as they continued walking. “Yes, I believe we are friends.” “For realsies?” “Ok, now I know that I’ve heard that voice before,” Celestia said, walking by a large window. “Yes, Sonata. We are friends, for realsies.” Celestia and Luna’s eyes widened at the mention of the siren’s name. After the Battle of the Bands, the sirens seemed to fall off the face of the earth. Guess one of them is living here. The sisters saw a doorway which lead to some kind of laboratory, with two people inside. The first girl, whom they were familiar with, was a blue skinned and dark blue haired girl. She was wearing a jagged edged skirt with teal and blue flames on it with a black sleeveless top.  She was also sporting a shiny pink belt and fingerless gloves. The other girl was a young foreign woman with long black hair who was wearing a simple white button up shirt and knee length black skirt. And the siren was hugging the foreign girl. “Sonata Dusk?” the sisters said at the same time. Said girl looked up and saw the two principals in front of them. She waved to them and said, “Hi, Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. How’ve you been?” The mystery girl looked at them and said, “Oh, you know them, Sonata?” “I was a student for a little while at their school.” “Oh, well, it’s nice to meet you. I am Fanta,” the mystery girl, Fanta, greeted them. The principals were a bit cautious of this new girl. Being around one of the sirens wasn’t exactly a good thing. “What’re the both of you doing here?” Luna asked, wanting to know why one of the school’s troublemakers was doing here. As Fanta was opening her mouth, Sonata butted in saying, “Oh, I work for Ms. Fanta now. After the Battle of the Bands, me and the others needed to find jobs to pay for our home, what with our gems destroyed and all.” Celestia was confused. This girl, who looked about eighteen, gave Sonata a job. What kind of job could that be? “What kind of job could Ms. Fanta give you? In fact, what does the job entail?” Luna asked, wondering if it was legal or not. Fanta simply said, “We give customers their desired fantasy to life.” Celestia and Luna didn’t like the sound of that. Celestia fearfully said, “How do you bring their fantasies to life? Please don’t tell me it’s something illegal.” Fanta walks towards them and said, “Oh, it’s nothing like that. I can assure you that.” “Then, how?” Luna growled wanting to get to the bottom of this. Fanta stops in front of them and said, “I’ll can show you, but you need to look into my eyes.” Celestia was wary of the girl and said, “We don’t need to know, Fanta.” The girl just looked at them and said, “Oh, but I insist, just look into my eyes.” And once that was said, Fantas eyes gained black and silver spirals. “Just look into my eyes and let the spirals relax you.” Luna and Celestia eyes were locked with Fanta’s as they thought, What’s she doing? Why can’t I look away from her eyes? “Look into my eyes. Watch as the spirals move and feel relaxed.” Celestia thought, What’s going on? I can’t stop looking at her eyes. Luna thought, I need to fight this. I can’t let someone else control me again. “Keep your eyes on the spirals as they relax you. Watch the spirals spin around and around and around as your mind slows.” This might not be so bad, Celestia thought, No! I need to focus on the spiral... I mean fight this. The spiral isn’t so bad. Maybe I should listen to Ms. Fanta, Luna thought. “You feel your body beginning to relax. Feel all your frustrations and tensions just wash away as the spirals relax you even more.” Yes. Watch the spiral and relax, the sisters thought. “You’re doing good. You feel yourself grow tired, sleepy even as your whole body feels relaxed.” So tired.. So sleepy, they thought, as their eyelids got a little heavier. “Every time you relax, you feel yourself doze off just a bit more. When I count to three, you can sleep.” Count to three, sleep, they thought drowsily. “One, feeling your eyelids grow heavy. Two, eyes almost closed. And three, sleep.” The two principals closed their eyes as their heads leaned forward, dropping a bit. “Now, you are hypnotized and will only obey me, Ms. Fanta.” “I will obey Ms. Fanta,” they said in a monotone. “Now then, I will need to know your names.” “Celestia.” “Luna.” Fanta looked pleased as she said, “Wonderful. Now, Celestia and Luna, the two of you will need a medical exam, so Sonata and I will be conducting it.” “Yes, Ms.Fanta.” “We’ll need you to strip down to your underwear and lie on the examination table. Sonata and I will be conducting your exam so listen to the both of us.” “Yes, Ms. Fanta.” With that said, the two principals began to remove their jackets, shirts and pants till they were clad in nothing but blue and gold bras and panties. The both of them got onto an examination table and laid down. “Sonata, I will need some help with the exam. Could you take Luna while I take Celestia?” Fanta asked, knowing that Sonata would agree. “Sure. I always wanted to be a doctor.” Sonata looked at the small table of various medical tools. Picking up the otoscope and said, “Open your eyes, Luna.” Her eyes opened, revealing black and silver spirals in her eyes as Sonata said, “This is what Sunset saw, huh?” Brushing her hair aside, Sonata examined Luna’s ears and then brought the otoscope near her mouth and said, “Open wide and say ‘AAAHHH’.” Luna did it without hesitation, showing Sonata the inside of her mouth. “Everything looks good here.” At the other table, Fanta started to check Celestia’s blood pressure with the cuff. Sliding it up her arm, she inflated in a few times before saying, “It seems good for your age.” Fanta then took off the cuff, and grabbed the stethoscope. “Now, I need you to take deep breaths as I check you lungs and heart,” Fanta said, as she placed the stethoscope on her chest. Celestia started to breathe in and out as Fanta moved the scope over her heart and both of her lungs. “You don’t need to take deep breaths anymore.” “For the next part, I’m gonna need you to sit up with your legs hanging on the side,” Sonata said, as Luna slowly got up. “Yes, Sonata,” Luna said, getting into position. Sonata had the little rubber hammer in her hand as she said, “Now, it’s time to test your reflexes.” She hit each of the legs, which moved after a delay due to the hypnosis, she then told Fanta the results. “It seems that the both of you are in perfect health,” Fanta said, “Now, I believe it’s time for your fantasies. Celestia what is your-,” a crash was heard downstairs. Fanta was confused as it sounded like something fell in the kitchen. Looking at the two sisters, she asked, “Did anyone else come with you?” “No, Ms. Fanta. My sister and I came by ourselves,” Celestia and Luna said in monotone. “Then, we have someone else in the mansion,” Fanta said, “Now Celestia, you’ll…” Earlier In one of the rooms on the second floor, a window was slowly beginning to open as a hand grabbed the windowsill. Soon, another hand was on the windowsill when a body was lifted through the window and fell on the floor. “Ow. Glad no one saw that,” a tomboyish raspy voice said, as she got up and dusted herself off. Looking around, the girl said, “Man, this place has seen better days.” Her phone began to vibrate as she picked it up and answer, “I’m in.” A female voice, on the other line, said, “Okay. Now, just stay there for the night, and I’ll keep my end of the deal.” “Yeah. You’ll give me any cake or sweet that I ask for, right Pinkie?” “Yes, but if you leave before the morning, then you have to eat cupcakes for every meal, Dashie.” Rainbow Dash giggled as she said, “You better be ready to make me my favorite double chocolate cake, Pinkie. Cause I’m winning this bet.” She ended the call as she made her way to the doorway. “Might as well look around this place,” she said, walking towards the stairs and passing rooms similar to what she was just in. Seeing that it was getting darker the farther she got from the room, Rainbow tapped a few buttons on her phone and turned the flashlight on. With the flashlight on, she could see the stairs that led to the main floor. Walking down the stairs, she saw the entrance of the mansion. “At least I know where I am,” Dash said, as she looked behind her. “But where does that hallway go? Might as well take a look,” she said, walking towards the dark hallway. Making her way down the hall, she saw a door on the right and opened it. Rainbow saw that the room was the kitchen area. “Wow, Pinkie would have a heart attack if she saw this,” she said, looking around the room. Rainbow saw that cobwebs littered around everything from the stoves to the cabinets. Shining the light, she saw that pots and pans had spilled out of the cupboards and onto the floor.   “Maybe I should get a picture of this. It'll definitely mess with Pinkie, that's for sure,” Rainbow said, as she walked to the door and opened it. She saw a dark figure and yelled, “Wwwwaasaaaaaa!!!”  Rainbow fell backwards as the person lighted an old lantern up to her face, showing her a multi color hair style and familiar face. “Principal Celestia?!!” Rainbow yelled, as she tried standing up. It was her high school principal, but instead of her normal pants and shirt, she was wearing a  strange looking creamy white dress with sun and floral designs. “We aren't in school, Rainbow Dash. And welcome to the Lightley Mansion,” Celestia said, while giggling lightly. She then beckoned Rainbow with her finger and said, “Please follow me.” “Wait!I'm here for a dare. Please don't give me detention,” Rainbow said, trying to reason with her. “As I said, we're not in school at the moment. So, it's impossible to get detention now,” Celestia said, walking through the door across the hall. As Rainbow walked through the door, she saw that there was a dimly lit stage and a bunch of tables. She followed Celestia to the table, sat down, and noticed that someone else was sitting at the table. Rainbow saw it was a woman with long black hair and wore a simple red dress, who turned to her and said, “Greetings, my name is Fanta Lightley, and I’m the owner of this mansion.” “Wait, I thought that this place was abandoned,” Rainbow said, confused and worried that she was in trouble. She didn’t need this woman calling her parents. The woman waved her hand and said, “Please don’t worry about that. In fact, I need some help with a project of mine. Would you be kind enough to help me?” Rainbow looked a bit relieved as she asked, “I don’t mind, but what do you need?” The woman was nice, but she wasn’t gonna stay if this project was strange or weird. “All I need is a second opinion on a simple show. I’m thinking of opening a theatre of sorts here,” Fanta said, giving her a gentle smile. Rainbow looked at Fanta for a bit, waiting for more of an explanation. Getting nothing more, she figured that if Fanta wasn’t gonna hold her breaking in against her, then she could go along with this. “I guess I could do it.” “Excellent, and not a moment too soon. The show’s starting,” Fanta said, pointing at the stage. The curtain began to open slowly as a young voice said, “Welcome, one and all, to the midnight show with the Hypnotic Nightingale, Luna.” The curtain fully opened, revealing Luna wearing a dark blue corset teddy, blue fishnet stockings, blue heels and bunny ears. Rainbow’s eyes widened at the fact that not only was her vice principal on stage, but she was wearing a costume that many girls would normally rather be caught dead in. “What’s going on?” she asked Fanta, “And why’re the principals here?” “Their family were friends with mine, and it was a bit of a fantasy of theirs,” Fanta said, smiling as if it was a joke. “For this show, I’m gonna need a volunteer,” Luna said, looking at the room as if there was a crowd. Rainbow didn’t do anything but look at both Fanta and Celestia, as they looked back at her. “Okay, I’ll volunteer,” she said raising her hand high. “Looks like we have a volunteer. Please, come up to the stage,” Luna said, beckoning Rainbow with her index finger. Rainbow muttered, “Can’t believe I'm doing this,” as she stood up and walked to the stage. Walking up the stairs, Rainbow asked, “What do you need me to do?” Luna turned towards Rainbow and said, “You just volunteered to be hypnotized by me.” Rainbow looked at Luna’s smiling face and thought she saw some kind of black mark in her eyes. Thinking it was a trick of the light, she said, “Hypnosis? Yeah. Right.” “If you don't think hypnosis is real, then you won't mind proving it by watching my watch,” Luna said, lifting a silver watch with her right hand. Looking at the watch, Rainbow sighed and said, ”Let's get this over with.” Luna began to lightly swing the watch as she said, “All you need to do is watch the watch and listen to my voice.” Watching the silver instrument, Rainbow thought, I'm watching this stupid thing already... “Just pay attention to the watch and my voice as you start to feel yourself relax.” At least, this is easy to do, Rainbow thought, as she felt her annoyance fade a bit. “With each swing, you feel yourself relax the more you watch the watch. The more you listen to my voice, the more you'll feel at ease.” This is pretty relaxing, Rainbow thought, as her mind focused on the watch. “You feel yourself fall as you gaze at the watch, and as you fall deeper, you feel the tension leave your body.” She’s right. I feel so relaxed, Rainbow thought, as she moved her head to the swings. “You feel so relaxed that you start to feel sleepy. The ticking of the watch is soothing as you relax.” So-o sleepy, Rainbow thought, as she tried to stay awake and watch the watch. “You feel so sleepy you could fall asleep at any moment, but you can’t sleep till I count to three. One, feeling your eyelids grow heavy. Two, closing your eyes. And three, you’re asleep.” Rainbow eyes closed shut, showing she was in a deep hypnotic sleep as clapping could be heard from Celestia and Fata. Fanta stood up and said, “An excellent performance, Luna.” Luna bowed as she said, “Thank you. Thank you. You’re too kind... but now for the main event.” Turning back to Rainbow, Luna said, “Now, Rainbow Dash, can you hear me?” Rainbow, in monotone, replied, “Yes, Miss Luna.” Luna smiled as she said, “Good. Now, you’re under the power of Miss Luna.” “I am under the power of Miss Luna,” Rainbow said, still in her monotone voice. “And you will obey me without question,” Luna said, already planning on what to do to the rainbow haired girl. “I will obey Miss Luna without question.” “Good. When I snap my fingers, you will not be yourself but a graceful ballerina, who’s ready to perform for us,” Luna said, holding her hand in the ready position. “And will dance for us, once you change into the right outfit,” she said, as she snapped her fingers. Rainbows eyes snapped open, showing a blue and dark blue spiral in her eyes, as she walked to the little closet on the stage. Grabbing the necessary outfit, Rainbow began to strip her clothes and fold them as she slipped on the pink leotard, pink stockings and pink skirt. She walked onto the stage, then bowed before standing back up and tip toed a few feet. Rainbow bent her upper body down as she lifted her left leg up. She rose back up but bent her leg as she began to twirl. Rainbow stopped spinning and bowed as Celestia, Luna and Fanta clapped politely. Luna snaps her fingers, causing Rainbow to return to her hypnotic trance state. “Very good, Rainbow Dash. Now, when I snap my fingers, you will sing the girliest song you can think of, in as equally of a girly voice as you can manage,” Luna said, smiling in amusement. Rainbow opens her eyes as she begins to sing. https://youtu.be/ZyhrYis509A Luna snaps her fingers again, and Rainbow returned to her trance yet again. “I believe that’s enough. Now, Rainbow-” “Actually, I need to give Rainbow a few more instructions before she can be released,” Fanta said, as she walked towards the stage. “Very well. Rainbow, you will obey any and all orders and instructions that Miss Fanta will give you,” Luna said, slightly moving away from Rainbow. “Yes, Miss Luna. I will obey Miss Fanta,” Rainbow monotonically said, as she stood there, unmoving. “Now, Rainbow, I need to know why you came to my mansion,” Fanta said, generally curious as to why this girl came here. “My friend, Pinkie, made a bet with me,” Rainbow said without any emotion, “If I could stay here for the night, she would make my favorite dessert whenever I wanted.” “Well then, when I snap my fingers, I want you to return to the room you entered and rest for the night. This night will feel like nothing more than a crazy dream you’ve had, and once you wake up, you will feel refreshed and excited about your bet that you won,” Fanta said, looking the girl over. “Yes, Miss Fanta.” “Then, have pleasant dreams, Rainbow Dash,” Fanta said, before snapping her fingers. Rainbow opened her eyes as she walked off the stage and towards the door. Luna eyes widened as she called out to Fanta, “She’s still in the ballet outfit.” Fanta yelled, “Rainbow, come back here and take your clothes to change back into before you go to sleep!” The Next Day Rainbow Dash woke up with the sunlight shining in her face. “Man, these old beds are pretty comfortable,” she said as she got up and began to stretch. Walking out the door, Rainbow made her way down the hall towards the main foyer. Looking around, she saw that this place looked nice, besides the cobwebs and stuff on the floor. “Now, where's the front door?” Rainbow said, walking down the stairs. “This has to be it,” she said, as she walked to the double doors and opened them. She was greeted with the bright sunlight as she stepped outside. She raised her hand to shield her eyes as they adjusted to the light and said, “Wonder what time it is?” Her phone begins to ring as she picked it up and said, “Hello?” “WHERE ARE YOU, RAINBOW?!” an energetically fast voice asked on the other line. Rainbow blinked and asked, “Pinkie? Why’re you yelling?” “YOU’RE NOT AT SCHOOL! YOUR PARENTS ARE WORRIED!” Pinkie yelled, causing Rainbow to pull the phone away from her ear. “Relax, Pinkie. I’m on my ….Wait, didn’t school just start for the day?” “IT’S 12:42 PM, AND YOU’RE LATE FOR LUNCH!” Pinkie continued to yell. “Shit. Must have overslept. I’ll be there soon, Pinkie,” Rainbow said, as she began to run to school, not noticing the pink ballerina outfit left nearby from her strange night at the mansion.
