My POV:
I sleep peacefully, yet uncomfortable in a small size of a bed. And, I hope I don't expect to have one of those odd dreams again. Unfortunately, I did. I couldn't open my dreaming eyes thinking that I'm still asleep, yet I don't feel anything that I'm lying on something, it's like I'm floating...
Luna's POV:
I looked around to find Jyro, and I found him floating on air. I looked closely and see that he is still sleeping, I walked beside him to wake up, in a dream in that manner, so he and I can have a little conversation between us.
“Jyro. Open your eyes, Jyro.” I said to him.
My POV:
I heard a voice telling me to open my eyes, as I eventually did, I happen to see Luna at first sight.
“Oh! Good morning.” I said, “Umm… I'm not in your room am I?” I looked around worried and confused.
“*giggle* It is not morning yet, and NO you are not. You are still asleep.” said Luna.
“Oh okay…… Wait… I'm asleep?” I asked confused.
“You are, and this is your dream. Pretty dark don't you think?” she said as I look around, it is dark, but I can see Luna.
“This. Is. Freaky. I have never been this fully aware in my dreams, but this is the first!” I tried to stand up, but I struggled and flail my body from floating.
“*giggle* Do you need help?” offered Luna.
“Please.” Luna used her magic to help me stand, “I still can't believe you can enter into someone else's dreams.”
“Yes, well I am the only one who can dive into anypony’s dreams. I am the Ruler of the Night you know.”
“Right. So, why are you here?”
“Oh, I just want to see what you dream of, and maybe we can talk.” I laughed at the first part she said.
“*chuckle* You know Luna, that sounded pretty dangerous if you dive in what you see, is something you will regret.”
“Ugh! Trust me, I know. What other ways than to just deal with… forbidden scenes, just to protect them from nightmares, or reality check.” she flustered.
“You know I have other questions about that, but it's best not to ask.”
“Please don't.” she said sternly, “Anyway, what about your dream? Why is it dark?”
“... I don't know. And this time, the floor is wet.” I tap my bare foot and feel a small splash from a very shallow water, “I've been having this same dream ever since I arrived here in Equestria. I don't know, but, it must have some meaning to it.”
“Interesting, do you know where this meaning comes from?”
“THAT WOULD BE ME.” echoed the voice that appeared in my recent dreams.
“Who goes there? Show yourself!” demanded Luna.
Suddenly, a flash of light nearly blinding us, revealing stars with colored space clouds around, and a distant sight of a milky way galaxy. By this extraordinary sight, the whole view reflects on the wet surface me and Luna were standing on.
“Woah!” I said.
“W-w-what… is… th-this?” said Luna with a mix of awe and bewilderment.
“Quite an amazing sight, isn't it?” said the voice, “Now you know what it is like to see, beyond the moon and stars. This is the sight of the universe.”
“I-I-It... I… I have no words.” said Luna.
“A loss for words, have you Princess?” asked the voice. I decide to cut the moment and start asking questions.
“Okay… uhh… whoever you are! This is the time we meet, right? You said you will explain everything when the Moon Princess visits my dreams. And that is Luna here.” I said.
“Jyro?” asked Luna.
“I did say that didn't I? Very well, allow me to introduce myself.” Luna and I looked around to find the one who is responsible messing with my dreams, then suddenly, “...Hohohahahahehehe...” An ominous laugh came from behind us and see a faded figure slowly appearing and arriving towards us. The figure is now white and it looks… like… a…….
“No. No no no way! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!” I shouted in shock and a bit of fear.
“Jyro, what is going on! Do you know what that thing is?” asked Luna confused.
“I see that you recognized me, from your world’s popularity that is.” said the figure who is a big white right hand. “Who knew that someone in your world created a video game franchise and created me as an important role? And, I invite and hand-picked worthy warriors from different worlds to test each other's strength in a friendly or grudge competition, and face me as their final battle. Sometimes my twin brother joins in, if they are proven worthy to face us both.”
“You're… I thought… you're-”
“-a fake? Fiction? Not real?” It interrupt me, “I will tell you this Jyro, I am. Dead. Real.” It said while pointing at me with it's index finger.
“Enough! Who are you creature, and how do you know Jyro?” demand Luna.
“I apologize Princess, but I am a HE, not an IT.” HE wagged his index for correction, “As for who I am, my name… is Hand, Master Hand. And as for how I know Jyro, well, I'm the one who brought him here in Equestria.” (Wait. WHAT!)
“... YOU!? You brought me here!?” I totally did not see all this coming.
“Yes. And, the reason why I brought you here, is your new destiny.” I was so unsure what means.
“... What do you mean my new destiny? What happen to mine's back on my old world?”
“Because, your old one back in your world died before you arrived here. So, I decided for you to start over and stay here in Equestria, as your new home.” he pointed.
“But why? Why did you choose me instead of some other guy?”
“That is because,” he suddenly shrink to a normal hand size, then he rushed to my chest poking me with his index, “you have something inside of you that no other human have for this world. You still got that big heart in you that keeps you going Jyro, even after multiple tragedies you have gone over. That is why I choose you.”
“I… do?” I said as I put my hand on my chest and look up.
I never realized how I still kept going, with all the pain and suffering I went through in my past. My heart is strong, and I thank my parents dearly for it. But, that still doesn't explain about my new destiny, and why I'm here.
“That still doesn't explain about Jyro’s destiny. What is he destined for?” asked Luna. (Took the words right out of my head…)
“Again, he is destined to stay in Equestria as his new life. But, he also has an important purpose during his time here.” said Master Hand.
“And what is this purpose?”
“To protect Equestria, from evil.” (To protect from evil? What!?)
“We hardly need any protection, if there is any danger or if evil has risen, the six bearers of the Elements of Harmony will stop them.” Luna interrupted.
“... You see... the Elements of Harmony are not enough, and not even your alicorn magic alone will not help either.” (Ohhh. So that's what she is. Sorry, out of topic.)
“What!? How can you be so sure?” Luna did not understand why and neither do I of what is going on.
“Allow me to explain.” Master Hand snapped his fingers revealing other galaxies. “Here is my dimension and universe. Any life being or another world that crosses or enter this universe, they will receive an increase of their power for both hero and villain. My dimension has crossed with many other warriors from different worlds or dimensions that enter. Only a piece of that dimensional wall has entered and face each other with unstoppable power. Until, the dimension of Equestria, that is your world now, have crossed my dimension.”
“Will we ever to have this power and rid of evil for good?” Luna asked.
“You see Princess, how to inherit this power, are for those who are worthy to use it, to protect or destroy.” he then points at Luna, “You of all ponies, do not have this power. Sadly, it is not linked into any pony kind as far as I know.” Luna's eyes widened in shock and fear.
“No! That's not true! There must be some other pony that has this power and save us. Right?” Luna begged and hope that there is one pony who can save Equestria, “Please, there has to be at least one pony who is worthy.”
“........ I'm afraid… there is nopony who will receive this power, nor become worthy. I am sorry.” he said sadly. Luna fell to her knees and shed tears after hearing this. I knelt next to her and rubbed her shoulder to keep her calm.
“What do we do?... Is Equestria doomed?” I knelt next to her and rubbed her shoulder with one hand to keep her calm.
“I really hope there is another way Luna.” I said.
“But,” Master Hand points up then suddenly talks in a comical way that surprised us and got our attention, “you ponies can use every bit of strength you have to rid this evil, if it is not enough, then not a pony, but someONE will save Equestria from evil!” he then points me, “That is you, Jyro, will be the one who defends and save Equestria!”
“WHAT!” Luna and I shouted. We were dumbstruck and why I'm the one.
“But, Master Hand, what can I do? And, how can I save Equestria? I'm not worthy, am I?” I asked.
“Yes! You are worthy! You know what that means?”
“I… don’t-”
“YOU WILL BE THE HERO WHO WILL SAVE EQUESTRIA!” Suddenly an applause appeared, out of nowhere, surrounded by applauding hands which got me and Luna confused. After a minute, it died down.
“Wait. If I'm worthy, does that explain how I got these powers since I arrived here?”
“Indeed you have. During your time here, you start to gain new powers slowly. Your first day began with your strength, and you proven how to use it. Your increased strength made you run faster and can jump high enough to reach the roof.”
“Really? How high do you think I can jump?”
“Just not enough to hit the clouds. And did I mention you can walk on them, if you manage to stand on one?”
“No. But, I think I already figured that one out.”
“But, you will still fall if you're not on one.”
“Right.” I said in disappointment.
“So then, on your second second day, you have increased durability, healing factor, and high stamina.” He pointed.
“Wait, healing factor? Then, that means…”
I remembered the time I had gashes on my leg and shoulder, then they healed during my sleep at the hospital. And the time Rainbow Dash crashed on me at high velocity, it only just stunned me for a moment, then I feel okay.
“Yes, you are practically immortal. But don't worry, you will be fine if you are careful enough, your healing ability is almost like regeneration, but there is a surprise if you discover how it works.”
“Gee... thanks. I feel so much safer.” I said sarcastically. But, the thought of being immortal? I feel like I'm already cursed.
“And your third day is your last power, you posses magic. Combined with your powers, your magic has tripled, and you can increase its limits. Surprisingly, you are the lucky one who has been given Celestial Magic.”
“Celestial Magic!? I heard of it, that magic is powerful if it's used correctly! Do I really have this power?” I looked at my hands again. (Wow. I'm scared if I ever get too OP… I don't want this to be Mary Sue okay? *shudder*)
“Yes, and as a bonus, you are invulnerable to magic that would corrupt, steal, or tamper your soul magical self. But, any other magic than those three can still affect you.”
“Only corrupt, steal, or tamper I'm immune to. I guess… that's fair. Don't wanna get brainwashed by surprise or drained. Is that really everything I have? Is there anything left?”
“Yes, and all that is left is for you is to train and get stronger.” Wow, this is too much for me to handle of how much power I have, and the responsibility I will have to face. “So Jyro, are you willing to protect the land of Equestria, as well, your new home?”
“... Give me a moment.”
I took a moment to think, threats in Equestria will happen in the future, and others in return get stronger. Thanks to Celestia’s long history lecture, I need to prepare for what's coming. My time in thinking has ended, and I have my answer.
“So, do you have your answer?” he said. Then Luna walked up.
“Please Jyro, your strength may be our last hope, for the sake of our peaceful land. Will you save us?” she said. (Man! This reminds me of a certain video game I played. I'll do it! or Wait a sec.)
“.....” Well, here it goes. “Luna. If you and your sister or the Elements of Harmony can't repel evil,” I put my hands on her shoulders and look her in her eyes. “I will do everything in my new power to save you, your sister, and everyone in Equestria.” Luna's eyes begin to swell up in tears and tackled me with her embrace.
“Thank you! Thank you Jyro!” sobbed Luna as I embraced back
“Don't worry Luna. I'll do whatever it takes to keep you all safe.”
“Well, I guess my work here is done.” said Master Hand. “The dream is almost ending, I'll leave you two alone then.” he said leaving.
“Wait!” I stopped him, “This is out of topic but, during my recent dreams, was that you talking in different voices?” (That came out of nowhere. I don't know why.)
“Ohhh. Busted. Yes, it was me. It's because, the author can't decide what voice I should use and also keep editing his story for other things.”
“... What?”
“Nevermind. Well, I must be going then. If there is something on it’s way if Equestria may be in danger, I will let you know. Good luck to you, Jyro.” he said with a saluted gesture.
“One more thing!” he stopped again. “Thank you, for giving me a new start.” he gave a thumb up then vanished.
“Jyro.” Luna came from behind with a very worried look, “Are you... really sure you are up for this task? Will you be okay to whatever comes at us?” I came up to her, put my hands on her shoulders, and stare at her luminous eyes.
“Luna. No matter what it takes, I promise you, I won't let any evil prevail while I'm still breathing.” Luna surprised me with an another embrace.
“Thank you.” she said silently as I embrace her back. I then suddenly see the view of the universe fading into a white limbo. “It is time to wake up.” she said.
“Aww. Five more minutes?” I pleaded.
“No. You have a busy day tomorrow. So,” she charged her magic and pointed at me, “ wake up!” she shot her magic and hit me straight at my face.
“*gasp*” I sat up quickly and breathe heavily thinking that she really did hit me. “Oh. It's just a dream.”
That dream... What was that dream about? I don't normally remember dreams after I wake up, but this one I remember clearly. I remember Luna being there and talking about my new destiny, my purpose, and my powers. My powers are real alright, but was the rest really a dream? Is this really my new destiny? Do I really have a purpose to protect Equestria? Honestly, I’m not so sure.
Luna's POV:
It is morning, and my time in Jyro’s dream has ended. What had me worried is that this is no ordinary dream. That Master Hand being, if that is what he is called, can also dive into someponys dreams. He even last that meeting for a quite an amount of time for our dreamy conversation. No other pony has ever hold that ability, except… if he does have that power, he may be powerful as my sister and I. Right now that doesn't matter, what matters is that something is coming. Our need of the Elements are far for being useful, which I don't believe is true, and with Jyro on our side, we may prevail. I tidy myself before I leave my room and arrive at my sister's chamber.
*knock knock knock*
“Yes?” called sister.
“It is I sister.” I say.
“Good morning Lulu. Is there something to discuss?”
“I'm afraid there is much more. But, I must explain everything to you privately. Tis about, Jyro… and the fate of Equestria.” My sister gave a concerned look as I begin to explain about Jyro’s strange dream.
