"Ready for your first dance?" Applejack ask Naruto as she sat with him in the back of the family CRV. Their dad is driving with Big Mack sitting in front, Applebloom is in the back with them. Granny was staying home while their mom is at the HQ of Chaos Inc.
"Yeah... sis," Naruto said catching himself as he's still getting use to having a real family. He was only adopted only a couple of months ago and became an Apple. Naruto has been getting treatments for all the mental scars he now remembers, and with a loving family he's been getting better.
"Just enjoy yourself," Applebloom said.
"I never dance before," Naruto said.
"You can dance with Apple Dumplin," Big Mac said seeing she is the same age as Naruto.
"Or you can just eat and talk with your friends," Paul said.
"Yeah," Naruto said.
The family stayed silent as Paul drove to the school, which is already busy with the students and the adults who came for the dance. There is a police car park at the school to keep it safe and to keep the reporters from trying to interview Naruto. The news has died down since people learn that Naruto is from another world and Megan Apple's books are base on what she went through when she was younger with her sister and brother. But to make sure there wouldn't be any trouble the cops were there to make sure.
"We're here," Paul said parking the car.
Naruto look out the window to see some of his friends walking to the school or hanging outside and talking. He blink when he saw Twilight talking with... herself who is wearing glasses and has her hair in a bun.
"Twilight has a sister?" Naruto ask.
"Oh that's her twin sister Midnight," Applejack said seeing what Naruto was seeing.
"I never seen her," Naruto said.
"She goes to Crystal Prep in Canterlot city, she must be here for the dance. Her parents must have wanted her to go out and have some fun," Applejack said.
"You know her?" Naruto ask.
"Yes she use to go to the same school with Twilight when she was younger. She decided to go to the prep school that is also a dorm school like her big brother Shinning Armor, while Twilight stayed here," Applejack explain.
"Oh," Naruto said then blink. "They have a brother?"
"Why don't you introduce yourself," Applejack said as she helps him out of the car and walks him over to the sisters. The rest of the family are bringing in the food they brought for the dance.
"Hey sis look it's Applejack and Naruto," Twilight said spotting the pair walking over to them.
"Hi Midnight," Applejack greeted her old friend.
"Hi," Midnight said as her eyes darted to Naruto. She's been studying magic since Mrs. Apple revealed that her books are base on true events. Even rewriting some of her old works into what really happen and not the clean up ones for young readers. Which revealed how dark the magic world of the ponies was like. (1)
"Hello," Naruto said.
"Can you hold still," Midnight said as she reach into her purse and pulls out a strange looking device. She turn it on and pointed it at Naruto with the device that looks like the ghost scanner from that ghost hunting movie making some beeping noise.
"What's that?" Applejack ask.
"This is a energy detector, I made. I have been working on it and researching all the different schematics of devices use to detect things like radiation for months. And I'm hoping that with Naruto being from another world he would show up on my device," Midnight said.
"She's the same as always," Applejack said remembering how she love to make things when she was still around.
"She is," Twilight sighed. While she is smart, her sister is just better then she is as she focus her energy into doing things like this.
"Does it work?" Naruto ask.
"It's working," Midnight said grinning but then frown. "This can't be right."
"What can't be right?" Twilight ask.
"See here," Midnight said showing them the screen of her scanner. It showed a single red dot in the center which they guess is Naruto, but there are many other dots along the edges of the screen.
"Maybe it's the fox?" Applejack suggested.
"No that can't be right. The fox is in some research lab somewhere in an army base out of state. The range of my scanner isn't that wide. And the size of it is massive if the dot is that big," Midnight said.
"Maybe it's because of Naruto being around us so long," Twilight said.
"No then the other Apples would be showing up," Midnight said pointing her scanner at Applejack and showed nothing. "Seeing how Naruto travel to a different world he would had pick up some kind of energy doing so. My device picks up that, and there's " (2)
"Hey guys you wouldn't believe what, I saw driving here!" Banana Candy said as she drove up to them in her pickup truck.
"Saw what?" Twilight ask.
"There are construction vehicles driving all over the town with people piled on top and hanging off the sides," Banana Candy said.
"There are?" Applejack ask.
"Yeah they're being chase by the cops," Banana Candy said as she switches her radio to full volume. On it the news cast reported police chase happening with the stolen construction vehicles.
A dark green CRV suddenly burst into the parking lot and came to a sudden stop in front of them. Out of the car step out Anko and the rookies who squeezed themselves into the back seat and the back. All of them wore a gas mask and protective gear that looks wore for wear. At the sight of the Leaf symbols the gas mask wearing figures are wearing Naruto duck behind his sister.
"Naruto?" Applejack ask looking down at her brother.
"It's them. The monsters from the other world," Naruto said causing Applejack's body to go tense.
"So you're the scum who use to beat up my little brother," Applejack growled.
"Naruto we're here to bring you back," Anko said.
"Please come with us Naruto," Hinata said stepping forward. "You're parents are waiting for you."
"They're not my parents. I have a real family now," Naruto said.
"Naruto do you have any idea what has been happening since you left?" Sakura shouted out.
"You're parents have been on a warpath in finding you. They been using us to search for you by sending us into different portals till we finally found the right one. Do you know how many died or been crippled for life just to find you," Sasake said.
"And the village has suffered greatly. We're reduce to fighting for even a piece of rotten bread," Kiba said. His clan has been reduce to keeping their dogs in the kennels under arm guards to keep them from becoming food. That's how his lost his dog.
"I'm suppose to care?" Naruto ask.
"Just grab him!" Tenten said darting forward to grab Naruto only to be kick in the face by Applejack breaking her gas mask. Leaving her laying on the ground grasping for air. (3)
"I figure that you ninjas couldn't breath without a mask," Applejack said as while Naruto has gotten better he still needs his inhaler every now and then.
"We'll do it the hard way then!" Anko shouted as she runs at Applejack with a kunai in hand, with the other kids drawing their own weapons.
Paul appeared grabbing her arm holding the weapon and lifted her into the air and slam her hard into the blacktop of the parking lot. Followed by him stomping onto her hand holding the kunai breaking her hand and kicking the gas mask off of her face. One of the cops who is patrolling the school quickly got on top of her hand-cuffing her. While her partner cover her, as he aim his gun at the arm ninjas. Kabi threw his kunai at the cop who duck and fired a shot hitting him in the chest killing him with a shot to the heart. The other rookies seeing this duck behind the CRV, Sakura fired her dart gun at the cop getting him in the neck bringing him down. Sakura duck for cover as the other cop open fired on her, while calling on the radio for backup.
"Quick signal the others!" Sakura shouted.
"Right," Lee said as he fires the flare gun into the air, launching a flare high into the air. The other Leaf ninjas saw the flare and headed for the area where the flare came from.
"AJ get Naruto inside," Paul shouted as he drags the fallen cop to safety while the other cop is covering him.
"Right dad," Applejack said as she grabs Naruto and carries him into the school. The other students were already running into the school.
Behind her a dump truck came barreling into the parking lot that is covered with ninjas. Paul seeing this opens fire with the fallen cops gun he pick up at the truck. He had learn to use a gun at the shooting range after his wife took him along when they first got together. He managed to hit the driver sending the truck spinning out of control and crashing into several cars. Many ninjas that were hanging on were thrown from the truck or were crush underneath the wheels. The ninjas that rode in the back did better and once the truck came to a stop jump out of the container.
Gai run at Paul as other ninjas were shot down by him till he run out of bullets, he turn and run while carrying the down cop. Gai caught up with Paul stabbing him in the back with a kunai, only for Paul to grab his arm and doing a shoulder throw, sending Gai rolling in front of him. Gai used it to roll back to his feet and turn around to face Paul. Gai swung his weapon at Paul who pointed the gun he still held at Gai who froze and Paul use that to jab the gun barrel into Gai's right eye as he didn't have any bullets left. Gai stumbled back holding his damage eye with his free hand. (4)
"You unyouthful...," Gai was cut off as Big Mac slam his head between two rocks, who had gotten behind Gai picking up two rocks after seeing his dad getting hurt.
"Grab an arm," Paul shouted to his son to the cop he was force to drop.
"Run," Big Mac said as he grab an arm and both he and his father drag the cop into the school.
The lone cop continue to fired as she run only for the ninjas to catch up and tackle her to the ground and repeatedly stab her to death. Once Paul, Big Mac and the cop they're carrying got into the school Celestia lock the doors and Luna hit the shutters on all the windows of the school and main doors. Which are used when the school is closed.
"Dad!" Applejack shouted as she and the rest of the family run to their dad.
"I'm okay," Paul said as Big Mac help him to the nurses office.
"All students head for the gym," Luna's voice said coming from the speakers.
"They came for me," Naruto said in a panic.
"Don't worry brother mom will get here and save us," Applebloom said.
"You're mom better hurry," Watermelon Kiss shouted as banging could be heard from the outside as the ninjas tried to force their way in.
"Just grab something and barricade the door," Red Butler shouted as he and other students piled anything they could find against the door.
The front door burst apart as a bulldozer drove into and through it destroying the barrier the students had put up. And the ninjas came pouring into the school all of them with one goal in mind. Get Naruto back home no matter how many of them died to do so.
