//------------------------------// // Family Reunion // Story: Spike's Yo-Kai Watch Adventures // by Joeyjambo122 //------------------------------// Any attempt to replicate Yo-Kai behavior would be ill advised! Spike was currently getting several supplies ready for his friend's spring picnic trip to a well known picnic spot. "Hey Spike, what are you doing exactly?" Jibanyan asked as Spike packed a picnic blanket. "The girls and I are heading to this cool picnic spot for well... a picnic!" Patch picked up on this. "That sounds fun! Mind if we come along?" He asked politely. Spike shrugged in response. "I don't see why not." Whisper suddenly floated in carrying a small brown box and chuckling with a smug look on his face. "Somepony wants us to ask what's inside that package he's holding." Spike sarcastically remarked. "Kinda obvious." Jibanyan agreed. "That's for sure..." Patch sarcastically piped. "Okay, okay. If you so desperately want to know then I'll show you." Whisper then opened the box, allowing Spike to peak inside. Unexplained occurrences happen every day, but if you posses the Yo-Kai Watch, you will have the amazing and rare ability to see the elusive Yo-Kai. Invisible spirit like entities, responsible for life's daily annoyances. But beware.... When a Yo-Kai enters your life, things will never be quite the same.... A Very Forgetful Picnic "What is it exactly?" Spike questioned after peering into the package. "Oh just a little something that'll change your life." Whisper then reached and pulled a small packet. "Impressive isn't it?" He asked in a proud tone. "Not really." Patch remarked. Whisper cleared his throat before continuing. "Allow me to introduce the Yo-Kai Repellent!" Spike raised his brow. "So it repels Yo-Kai?" Whisper nodded. "Listen, since you got the Yo-Kai Watch, you've had to deal with new Yo-Kai practically everyday. Don't you wish you could just have a Yo-Kai free day? Well with the Yo-Kai Repellent, your life will be fresh and clear of Yo-Kai." Spike had a skeptical loom on his face. "Does it actually work?" Whisper huffed in frustration. "Of course it does, watch!" He then pulled out a funny looking slip that looked like an air fresher ponies put in their houses to help make it smell better. A purple smoke suddenly emerged from it, causing all the Yo-Kai in the room to start gagging from some horrible smell that Spike himself couldn't smell. "Gah! It smells like dirty diapers on a tire that's on fire!" Patch yelled in disgust. Whisper eventually managed to plug their noses with small corks calming everypony down. "Ugh.... I thought I was gonna faint..." Jibanyan meekly muttered. "So it's like an air freshner?" Spike asked skeptically. "Of course! It keeps your life fresh and clean of Yo-Kai." Whisper stated after pulling himself together. "I don't know, it seems suspicious." Before Spike could question Whisper further, he heard the distinctive voice of Twilight calling him. "Spike! It's time to go! Are you all ready!?" She yelled. "Yeah, hold on a second Twi! C'mon you guys!" He gestured for his friend's to follow him outside, having forgotten about grabbing the supplies he packed. Outside the castle, Twilight, Rainbow, Applejack, and Fluttershy were preparing to head to their picnic when Spike came outside. "Hey girls! Where's Rarity?" He asked as he noticed his crush's absence. "She said she had some things to do and that she'll meet us there later." Spike shrugged and hopped into the wagon and noticed Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Komasan and Komajiro sitting there. "Hey guys!" He happily greeted. "How are you two adjusting to apple farm life?" He asked gesturing to the Komasan brothers. "It's been sweller than a hopping frog on spring shoes!" Komasan replied in the country-ism that they've gotten used too. "It was kind of weird working on an apple farm, but we've gotten used to it." Komajiro informed. "Is your brother here too Applebloom?" She nodded in response. "Yep, he's the one who gonna be pulling the wagon to the picnic spot." As if on cue, Big Macintosh walked up and hitched himself to the wagon. "Whoa! You could've mention your brother was the size of a small manticore!" Whisper exclaimed in shock at the sheer size of the stallion. Spike looked and noticed the absence of a certain orange filly. "Where's Scootaloo?" He asked. "Scootaloo and brothers, Flash Sentry and First Base, are on vacation Fillydelphia and they won't be back until tomorrow." Sweetie Belle informed. "Alright everypony! Let's git going!" Applejack exclaimed happily. They all got in the wagon and set off towards their destination. Two hours later The group of ponies, dragon, and Yo-Kai, arrived at the picnic spot that was situated near an incredible waterfall. "Alright, let's look over and make we have everything. Pinkie Pie, did you bring the punch?" "Definitely Twilight! It's right here-" Pinkie suddenly stopped talking after searching through the cart. "I left the punch at home!!!!!!" Pinkie Pie shouted shouted in horror. "That's weird, I didn't think Pinkie was capable of forgetting anything. Good thing I made punch of my ow-" Rainbow Dash suddenly cut herself off when she realized she for got to bring her punch as well. "Why is everypony so scatterbrain today?" Spike questioned to himself. "By the way Spike, where's the stuff you packed for the picnic?" Patch asked his confused sibling. Spike looked over his shoulder and gasped in shocked that forgotten the picnic supplies he packed. "You dears would all forget your heads if they weren't attached to you. How in Equestria are we supposed to have a picnic if you forgot everything we need for a picnic?" A familiar elegant voice criticized. They all turned to find find Rarity having just arrived herself and.... wearing her night gown? "Uh... Rarity? Why are you in your night gown?" Twilight asked as everypony stared at her. Rarity gave them a confused look before looking down and gasped in horror as she saw she was indeed in her night gown. "I forgot to get ready this morning....." She meekly muttered. "Okay, that settles it! There's got to be a Yo-Kai making everypony forget something!" He whispered to the others. "Oh please, have you forgotten we have Yo-Kai Repellent?" Spike ignored Whisper and scanned around Rarity's head and found a hat shaped silluette sitting on top of it. The scanned eventually revealed the Yo-Kai's real form, which resembled a green top hat. Je had thick and gummy purple lips that form the brim with scattered square teeth. He has a red bow or ribbon around it to act like a nose. On top are his two eye-stalks with swirled eyes. "Gah!" Whisper eclaimed before briefly going limp. "That Yo-Kai Repellent is a dud." Spike sarcastically remarked in a mocking tone. "That can't be, I'm a smart shopper!" Whisper exclaimed attempting to defend himself. "So that ain't a Yo-Kai?" Applebloom questioned in a sarcastic tone. Whisper briefly did a double take and began searching through the Yo-Kai Pad. "Ah yes, now I remember. That Yo-Kai'sname is Wazzat from the Mysterious Tribe. He makes ponies forget just about everything. He is responsible for things like 'I just bought something cool, but I don't remember where I put it.' " He informed. " Come on! Let's go confront him right now!" Whisper shouted as charged toward Wazzat... before said Yo-Kai quickly dodged and latched himself onto Whisper. After spitting him out, Whisper got up and started explaining Wazzat's abilities before making another attempt at charging the Yo-Kai and getting the same results as last time. "Huh, an amnesia hat." Spike remarked as they watched the same process several times. "Gosh Whisper, that hat's a menace. He scrambled your brain so many times, I was worried it was gonna turn into an omlete." Sweetie Belle remarked as they walked toward the wagon to try and salvage some picnic stuff. "Ahm just glad that it wasn't that Tattletell Yo-Kai causing mischief, otherwise I Ah would've spilled the secret that Spike accidently burned some of the castle libraries books the other day." "WHAT!?" They all winced when they heard Twilight's signature angry voice that was aimed directly at the purple dragon. "How could not tell me that!? That is single handedly the most irre-" Twilight's rant was suddenly stopped when Wazzat suddenly clamped on her head causing her to draw a blank face. "Uh.... Twilight? Are you okay?" Spike nervously asked. "Oh, never better!" She stated in a cheerful tone before trotting off much to the dragon's confusion. "See how great I can be kiddo?" Wazzat stated proudly. "That was awesome! Thanks!" Spike excitedly praised before Whisper flew in front of his face and gave him a stern glare. "It's wrong to use Yo-Kai for your own personal gain!" He angrily reprimanded. "Oh come on kid, don't let this buzzkill get to you! Isn't nice not to get yelled for your mistakes?" Spike looked down and sighed. "Yeah but... then you don't learn anything from it." He stated. "Oh I see how it is, you just betray me just like my previous owner!" When they looked at him a bit confused, he began to explain. "I was just a normal hat back then, but I was her favorite. We were happy together, but then one day fashions changed and she was thru with me and stuffed me into a closet! Eventually, she forgot I even existed! Oh how easily ponies and dragons can erase your memories whenever it suit you!" He was pratically bawling by now. "So inanimate objects are able to become Yo-Kai too?" Sweetie Belle asked Whisper. "Only on rare occasions." He informed. "Hey! I'm pouring my heart out here!" Wazzat angrily interrupted. "Oh sorry!" She said back. "Sorry!? I'll show you who's sorry when I erase your memories!" He shouted as he charged causing them to scatter. "What do we do nyow!?" Jibanyan shouted as he dodged another attack. "I bet Robonyan can be of some help!" Whisper suggested. "Got it! Come on out my friend! Calling Robonyan!" Spike shouted. "Wait Spike! That's the wrong med-!" Patch attempted to warn but was too late as Spike shouted. "Yo-Kai medal do your thing!" A purple emerged from the watch as a voice shouted. "Summoning Eerie!" "Lookily lookily Flippa dede! Lookily lookily Bubba Eerie!" A jazzy sounding voice sang as Manjimutt danced to it. "Manjimutt!" Spike stared bewidered. "What just happened?...." Patch walked up next to him. "You used the wrong medal....." Spike looked and saw that he ended up grabbing Manjimutt's medal instead of Robonyan's. "Now what do I do!?" He whispered loudly. "Just ask him to leave." Whisper stated. "I can't do that after bringing him all the way here!" Spike quietly shot back. "Then prepare to wear the deranged for the rest of your life!" Whisper shot back. "Hey, what do you kids want? I'm a busy man, dog, man!" Manjimutt was quickly interrupted by Wazzat clamping down on his head. After a few seconds of eating Manjimutt's memories, Wazzat suddenly let go of his head gagging. "Bleh! Those memories taste awful!" He exclaimed still gagging. "I'll have you know my memories are perfectly palpable!" Manjimutt stated attempted to defend himself. "What does that mean?" Komasan asked Spike. "I think it means that Manjimutt's memories are so foul tasting that Wazzat can't stomach them." He answered. " 'GAG!' I think I'm gonna barf!" Wazzat shouted falling to the ground. Spike quickly ran over and picked him up. "Are you alright?" He asked concerned. Wazzat sniffed a little. "I'm sorry I lost my temper. You can do with me what you wish." Spike shook his head. "We would never dream of hurting you Wazzat, all we want to do is be your friends." He offered. Wazzat looked at him confused. "Really? You aren't trying to trick me are you?" He asked still a little hesitant. "Of course not. I'm sorry you were hurt in the past, but I promise that I'll never ever forget you my friend." Spike punctuated with a small smile. Wazzat continued looking at him and realized Spike really was gonna keep his promise. Hopping out if Spike's arms with a smile, he calmly says. "I believe you." As a familiar blue light enveloped him and his Yo-Kai medal materialized and floated into Spike's hand. "Awesome! Thanks Wazzat." Spike stated. "No problem kid, now if you'll all excuse me, I have to get going. See your later!" He shouted as he left the scene. "I have get going as well. Bye!" Manjimutt stated as he took his leave as well. "Well we solved one Yo-Kai problem, but the picnic is still a disaster! I mean, how could it get any worse!?" Sweetie Belle exclaimed before a loud thunder occurred and it starting pouring. "Ya'll just had to say it didn't ya?" Applebloom muttered in an annoyed tone. The group quickly got under some nearby bench with sun roofs. "Hey guys, is it me or have there been a lot sudden rainstorms lately?" Komajiro asked nopony in paticular. Spike nodded in response. "I know what you mean Komajiro. Wait.... could this be the work of a Yo-Kai too?" Spike asked Whisper. "That is ridiculous! We have the Yo-Kai Repellent remember? Rain is a completely non Yo-Kai related phenomenon." Whisper stated in his usual know it all tone. Spike ignored him and scanned around some nearby trees until eventually finding a funny looking silluette. The scan revealed a rather wet looking Yo-Kai with grey clouds swirling around and up into the sky. "There!" Spike exclaimed causing Whisper to do a double take at the Yo-Kai. "Dude, whoever sold you that Yo-Kai Repellent ripped you off big time." Patch stated dryly. "No no no! It's working I assure you!" Whisper stated frantically. "Then what's that?" Spike asked pointig to the Yo-Kai in the trees. "You probably don't even know." Spike said in mocking tone. Whisper quickly (but poorly hiding it) brought out the Yo-Kai Pad before it suddenly turned off showing a symbol of a battery with a red line across it. "Gah! I forgot to charge it!" He then proceeded to hit the device several times before Jibanyan suddenly said. "His name's Drizzle." They looked with raised brows. "Jibanyan seems to know." Spike stated. "I make it my business to know all the rain makers." He informed onomisously. "Hey Whisper, maybe Jibanyan should be Spike's butler from now on." Patch said jokingly getting a laugh from the others except Whisper who simply huffed in frustration. He then pulled out a small device and plug it into the Yo-Kai Pad causing it to turn back on, showing an image and description of Drizzle. "Ah yes Drizzle from the Eerie Tribe. He's a Yo-Kai that causes sudden rainstorms. He's responsible for the ironic rain on your wedding day scenario." "So as soon as we get rid of him, this gosh darn rain will stop." Komasan stated. "Alright! Now it's time to for Robonyan!" He then took out Robonyan's medal, (making sure it was the right medal this time) and proceded with the usual summoning routine. "Come on out my friend!" He shouted as he tossed the medal into the air. "Calling, Robonyan!" And in one swift motion, he caught the medal and inserted it into the watch. "Yo-Kai medal, do your thing!" "Summoning Tough!" A voice shouted as an orange spiraling portal emerged from the watch. "Gruff stuff! Rough bluff! Red band, jacket stand, bling blang, Tough!" A tough sound tune played as Robonyan emerged from it. "Robonyan!" "Robonyan, is there something you can do about this rain?" Spike asked the robot cat. "Negative, that is not in my programming." He informed. "What!?" Spike exclaimed in dismay. "Do not worry." Robonyan reassured. He then suddenly opened his and revealed his gadgetry, with what looked like little satellite dish on his stomach. "Worm hole portal activate!" The dish on his stomach lit up and just as he shouted, it opened up a blue warp tunnel in front of him. He then turned to face them. "I'll be back!" He shouted as he departed through the portal. In a hardware store near the edge of Ponyville, a salespony was currently attempting to tell some customers about a sale on the stores house cleaning items. "Sale today! Come check it out!" He was suddenly interrupted a blue worm hole suddenly opening. "Wow!" He shouted in surprise as a familiar robot cat emerged from the portal. "Requisition initiated." Robonyan stated. "Okay..." The stallion said nervously. Robonyan then pointed to something. "Get me one of those." Causing the stallion to turn into the direction of where he was pointing, saying "huh?" In his confusion. Robonyan reemrged from portal a few minutes late holding a box "He's back." Jibanyan remarked as the robot landed. "What have ya got there?" Applebloom asked. Spike took a closer look at the picture on the box and realized what was inside. "A vacuum cleaner? You used that flashy portal maker to go get a vacuum cleaner?" Spike asked wondering if some of Robonyan's circuits were scrambled. "I not only got it." Robonyan stated as a vision showed him haggling the stallion from earlier. "I can give you 50 bit discount." He offered nervously. "Go lower!" Robonyan demanded. "Also 10 bits off!" The stallion offered again more terrified. "You better!" "I successfully haggled." Robonyan stated proudly. "So mister negotiator, what's vacuum for?" Sweetie Belle asked. "I will use it to suck up the clouds." He replied. Patch raised his brow. "You can actually do that?" He asked incredulously. "We shall soon find out." He answered. He then pulled out outlet from his mechanical belt and plugged the vacuum cleaner in. "Power on." He stated as he flipped the switch on vacuum, causing the end of to start suckling. Whisper had the misfortune of getting sucked into the vacuum. "You sucked Whisper into the vacuum instead! Turn it off!" Spike demanded. "I'm embarrassed to be related to you!" Jibanyan stated bluntly. Robonyan let out a frustrated huff and turned off the vacuum, before turning in the direction of Drizzle and shouting. "Rocket Punch!" Launching his robotic fists straight Drizzle, knocking from his perch and surrending his medal to Spike in the process. Upon landing on the ground with two big bumps on his head, he started crying. "WAAAH! That hurt!" He shouted as he ran off. The girls and Big Mac smiled brightly as then sun came out. "Finally that dreadful rain stopped!" Rarity exclaimed with glee. Spike looked to where Drizzle ran off. "You didn't have to hit him..." He muttered with sympathetic tone. "I only care about results." Robonyan replied holding a thumbs up. "I beg to differ!" They heard the muffled sound of Whisper shouting from inside the vacuum. "Let me out please!" He desperately demanded. "Some picnic this turned out to be...." Twilight as the girls piled into the wagon. Spike and the others (after getting Whisper out of the vacuum) were walking toward the wagon themselves when Spike remarked. "I guess the Yo-Kai Repellent was a complete dud after all." Whisper actually nodded in agreement. "I just don't understand why though." As Whisper said this, he noticed a small note on the Repellent. "What this? Note: Yo-Kai Repellent only repels cat, butler, and dragon Yo-Kai!?" He was pratically shouting by the end. He looked and saw that the others were giving him death stares as a silent wind blew past him until Patch broke the silence. "Why didn't you.... READ THE LABEL!?" Patch yelled angrily as he hit Whisper with Spike's frying pan. A few hours after leaving the picnic site, it was the dead of night and the only pony left awake was Big Mac. "Why couldn't have been born a bat pony?" Big Mac inwardly complained as it got darker. He looked over his shoulder at the wagon and saw the mares and baby dragon sleeping soundly without a care in the world. Smiling lightly, he then said to himself. "It's been a long day, but Ah need to stay awake and get us all home." He then began rubbing the sleep from his eyes, not noticing a strange mirror like Yo-Kai appearing and started glowing. The Yo-Kai sucked in Big Mac and the entire wagon and were now in front of Twilight's castle. After opening his eyes, Big Mac went wide eyed as he realized were they were. "How tarnation did we get here!?" He exclaimed in a hushed. Turning around, he noticed Applejack was starting to wake up. " 'Yaaawn' Are we here already? That was fast." She said a little tired. "Uh.... yeah. Looks that way...." A few minutes later after everypony went home, Spike and the currently standing outside the castle. "Gosh, one I close my eyes for a minutes and the next I know we're home." Spike remarked as he stretched. "That would be because of the Yo-Kai Mirapo from the Mysterious Tribe. He is responsible for for many instances where you wake up in your bed, but don't remember getting in there first place." Whisper informed. Spike deadpanned at him. "So I can't even get away from Yo-Kai in my sleep?" He asked in a grumpy tone. "Think of it this way Spike, we got home because of a Yo-Kai." This statement only made even more agitated. Taking his frying pan, he then said. "Enough with the excuses." Whisper froze in place, realizing what was about to happen. "HERE'S A REAL YO-KAI REPELLENT!!!!" Spike shouted as he hit Whisper with the frying pan, launching into Luna's night sky. "I'm blasting off again!!!!!" Whisper shouted as a star twinkled where he dissappeared from view. Family Reunion "See you in three days Twilight!" Spike yelled as he watched Twilight and the girls depart on the train to Canterlot. The girls were gonna be staying at Canterlot for the next three days and though he wanted to go at first, he realized this would be as good of time as any to meet his and Patch's parents. After the train disappeared from view, he ran as fast as his stubby legs would let him back to the castle. After getting inside, he saw Whisper and Jibanyan reading on a couch nearby. "Hey guys, have you seen Patch anywhere?" He asked getting their attention. "I think I saw him head into the library last I saw him, why?" Whisper asked back. "With Twilight and the girls being in Canterlot for the next three days, I think now is as good a time as any to finally meet our parents." Spike informed. "Ooh! I always wondered what you would look like as an adult!" Whisper excitedly. "Are you sure Patch wouldn't be nervous about it? I mean, he hasn't seen his family in years." Jibanyan said in a worried tone. "I won't know until I ask I guess." Spike and began headed into the library. He spotted Patch reading a book on dinosuars while sitting in Twilight's favorite reading couch. Patch eventually tore his gaze away from the book and noticed the trio approaching. "Hey guys, what's up?" He greeted. "Hey Patch. You know, it's been quite a while since we learned we're brothers and have been the best few weeks of my life." Spike stated with a smile and longing look. "Yeah, it's been a great couple of weeks." Patch noted with a smile of own. "Well, the girls are gonna be gone for three days in Canterlot and I was thinking we should go somewhere." When the topic was brought up, Patch got an inkling of where Spike was going with this and was starting to get a little nervous at what he was about to ask. "I was thinking maybe we should go meet our parents in Draconia." Spike suggested in a nervous tone. "Oh... uh maybe another time..." Patch said back and look to the ground with a saddened expression. Spike noticed this and took a seat next to him. "Is something wrong?" He asked a little concerned. Patch sighed before saying. "I've been gone for eight years and look at me." He punctuated his point by moving his arms up and down his Yo-Kai body. "I died and how am I supposed to tell them that I died and turned into a Yo-Kai looking for you?" He asked incredulously. Spike pondered for a minute before realizing something. "Remember back in Manehattan we used those changeling leaves to get into the night club to look for Komasan's brother? We'll just use the same trick when we meet them." Patch looked up at him. "I don't know Spike, that sounds like lying." Spike raised brow. "Weren't we basically lying ourselves when we snuck into the night club?" Patch blushed a little. "Good point.... 'SIGH' alright you win, we'll go. But how are gonna get there?" Whisper offered up the solution. "We'll just have Mirapo take us there in an instant!" Spike nodded. "Sounds good to me!" He then took out Mirapo's medal. "Come on out my friend!" Spike shouted as he flipped the medal into the air. "Calling, Mirapo!" And in one swift motion, he caught the medal and inserted it into the watch. "Yo-Kai medal, do your thing!" "Summoning Mysterious!" A voice shouted as yellow cylinder portal emerged from the watch. "A Boo-shigga! Boo-shigga! Boogie woogie! Cling clang delirious Mysterious!" an upbeat tune played as Mirapo danced to it and finished with a pose. "Mirapo!" "Hey Mirapo, do you think you could transport us to Draconia near our parents house?" Spike asked him. Mirapo nodded in response. "Of course, I just need somepony to think of a spot to be transported to and I'll handle the rest." Mirapo explained. "We're coming too!" Whisper and Jibanyan shouted at once. Spike nodded and turned to his brother. "Alright Patch your up!" Patch nodded slowly and approached Mirapo. He thought for a moment to think of a place that was near his home. "Alright got it." Mirapo stated. As the other three approached the Yo-Kai, Patch silently gulped. "No turning back now...." He thought as all four were sucked into the mirror. Everyone opened their eyes as the bright light finally dissipated and what they saw astounded everyone but Patch who had a small smile on his face. What they saw was a beautiful lake in front what looked like a house made of stone with smoke rising from the chimney. "Spike.... We're home." Patch said absent mindedly as he let nostalgic memories flood his head. "What are we waiting for then? Let's get to your house!" Whisper exclaimed excitedly. Spike and Jibanyan followed with Patch trailing behind a little. Upon reaching the front door of the house, which from what Patch could tell, looked like it had been renovated a little. Spike took out the Changeling Leaf and gestured to Patch to put it on. Taking the leaf in hand, he gulped nervously and put it on, which then transformed his appearance to what looked like an eighteen year old teenaged dragon. Like when he was still alive, Patch's disquised form had green scales the same shade as Spike's spines and purple spines and underbelly which were the same shade of purple of Spike's scales. He also retained his most notable physical characteristic, he had purple spots all over his green scaled body and one big one on his right eye. Still nervous of seeing his parents after eight years kept Patch in place for a few moments before his impatient younger brother pushed him forward. "Come on Patch, just knock. It is isn't gonna kill you!" Spike jokingly stated. Patch gulped nervously as he slowly raised his hand up to the door and after a few seconds of hesitation, he knocked five times. After a few moments of nothing happening, Patch barely held down a sigh of relief before saying. "Oh well, looks like nodragons home, so let's just-" Before he could finish his sentence, he froze in place as a familiar voice suddenly interrupted him. "Hold on a minute I'm coming!" Patch sighed in defeat. "Guess there is no way outta of this..." He thought as doorknob began to turn and finally opening to one of the houses inhabitants, Spike shyly hid behind his disquised siblings leg but manged to take a peak at the dragon in the doorway who hadn't noticed him yet. He ended up staring at him because the dragon looked like an adult version of himself though his scales, underbelly, and spines were a few shades darker. Looking at at him in the eyes was like looking the mirror. The dragon went eyed we when he layed eyes on Patch before moving them up and down as if examining him. He let out a chuckle and and a small smile crossed his face. "There's only one dragon I know who has spots like that..." He remarked as he waited for an answer. Patch let out a sheepish chuckle. "Heh heh... hi Dad...." He greeted sheepishly before suddenly getting flicked in the head by his father, responding with an "Ow!" Looking back at his father while rubbing his head, he noticed his dad a cheeky smile on his face. "THAT was for running off like that." He then suddenly wrapped Patch in a tight hug, caching his son by surprise. "And this.... is for finally coming back..." He whispered loudly. After finally getting out of the initial shock, Patch slowly returned the hug. "I missed you...." They said in perfect unison. The older dragon took a step back and examined his son's teenaged form before turning his gaze to the little purple dragon hiding behind his son's leg. "Hey Patch... I think there's a little me hiding behind your leg." He said with a curious tone before his eyes widened in realization. "Patch.... is he?" He started before getting a silent nod from his son. Patch then leaned down toward Spike. "Dad.... meet Spike, our missing family member." He said introducing him. "And Spike, this is our father Onyx." When Spike still nervously hid behind his leg, Patch gestured for Onyx to come over. Onyx obliged and leaned down toward his new son. Holding his hand out, he calmly said. "Hi... Spike.... it's very nice to meet you." He nervously greeted. Spike slowly began to come out of his spot to face his father. Seeing Onyx's outstretched hand, he slowly returned the gesture before noticing tears trinkling at the edge of his father's eyes. After grasping his father's hand, he was suddenly pulled into a hug similar to the one his brother had gotten a moment. Though Spike struggled a little, he eventually stopped and slowly returned the embrace as he finally managed to say. "Nice to... to meet you too... dad." Saying this caused Onyx to tighten his hug. When Onyx manged to stand up, he held Spike out to get a better look at him. "Heh heh... you look exactly like I did when I was kid... if a tad chubbier." He jokingly stated poking his son's stomach, receiving an invulantary laugh from the dragon who quickly pushed the claw away. "Cut that out Dad!" He shouted with his cheeks going red, receiving a hearty laugh from his father in the process. "Hey dad, how's mom doing?" Patch asked him. Onyx snapped his fingers. "That's right! Your mother needs to know about this! Please, come inside." He then ushered to the pair to come in, with Whisper and Jibanyan following behind. Spike was immediately amazed by the decor of the house. It looked pretty lavish for a dragon cave, which Patch explained was because of their parents work in their respective fields of research. Spike also saw several pictures depicting his father standing with a brown earth pony with T-Rex skull cutie mark standing in front of a large fossil. Another picture depicted a rose colored dragoness standing in front of an ancient looking temple. "Rose! We have some very special guests with us! I think you may be pleasently surprised to find out who they are!" He heard Onyx yell really loud. "Coming dear!" Spike heard a heavenly voice call from upstairs. Just then at the top of the steps, the same rose colored dragoness with green eyes, spines, and underbelly, walked down from them. Though she was the first female dragon Spike had ever seen, he could already tell she was very beautiful. "Now dear, what's all the shouting about?" She asked her husband. Onyx simply pointed toward the pair of dragons and Rose's widened upon seeing the older one. She immediately dashed to him and tackled him in a hug. "Patch! Oh please tell this isn't another dream!" She exclaimed, tears flowing freely. After righting himself, Patch returned the hug. "It's me Mom, and I brought someone very special with me." His mother broke away from the hug and gave him a confused look before finally turning her gaze down toward the little dragon that looked her husband when he was a child. "Are... are you...?" His mother began but was interrupted by Spike. "My name is Spike and it's nice you.... mom..." Thanks to meeting his father earlier, Spike wasn't as nervous as he was earlier. Rose suddenly picked him up and hug him close to her, as if afraid he was gonna get taken away again. "It's very nice to meet you too, Spike." Rose stated with a smile and quick motherly kiss on the cheek, the red returning to Spike's cheeks after doing so. Rose looked toward Patch again. "Look at you, you as handsome as your father was when he was eighteen." She received a light hearted chuckle from her husband. "Who says I'm still not handsome?" Who then received a laugh from Spike himself. "See? Spike gets it." He stated with a proud smile. He then turned to a nearby door when a feminine voice said. "What's going on out there?" Both Dragon brother's raised their brows upon hearing the voice. "Who was that?" Patch asked confused. Onyx and Rose merely smiled until Onyx said. "Someone special we want you two would to meet. Violet! There's two guests here we want you to meet!" He called to the voice. "Coming!" The voice shouted as the door began to open. A dragoness a few inches shorter than Spike walked into the living room. She had the same shade of purple scales like Spike, but her spines, underbelly, and eyes were all pink. What really surprised them was that her back sported a pair of small pink bat like wings like ones of a regular dragon, unlike the wingless dragons before her. "Hey Dad, who are those two?" She asked with a curious look in her eye. "Dad!?" Both dragons exclaimed in shock. Onyx let out another chuckle as he took Violet's and brought closer to the other two. "That's right you two. Violet, meet Patch and Spike. Patch, Spike, meet Violet... your little sister." He calmly introduced as he watched his children gape at one another. "We have sister!?" They both exclaimed in perfect unison. "Those two are my missing brothers!?" The dragoness exclaimed. "How about you three calm down first." Rose suggested. They all took a deep breath and calmed down. "Sooo.... We have a little sister." Patch said in a confused tone. "When did you have her?" He asked in a curious tone. It was Violet who answered this. "Dad told me I was born two years after the uh..... incident..." She reluctantly informed. Everyone went down cast, including Whisper and Jibanyan, as they what she was talking about. "Well uh... Violet, it's very nice to meet you." Patch stated to his new sister. "Same here!" Spike happily greeted. Violet nodded nervously and examined her brother's form. "Mom and Dad were right. You do have spots." She pointed out. Patch let out a chuckle. "Yeah... I do." He said in a joking tone. "Well how about we all go to the dinner table and you can tell us everything while I cook. Is that alright with all of you?" Rose suggested. The other four all quickly said yes and followed her into the kitchen and after sitting down, the two dragons began to explain everything, with certain details scratched out of course. By the time dinner was ready, Spike had just finished telling his family the details of what happened at the Equestria Games and how he saved the entire stadium from a giant crashing mound of ice by melting it with his fire breath. The story had brought a proud smile on his parent's faces as week as a chuckle from Patch when he learned his brother had very badly sung the Equestrian anthem at the games. "I still can't believe your the personal assistant of the Princess of Friendship." Violet stated. "Well Twilight's been like sister since she was the one who hatched me in the first place." Spike informed. "Dinners ready!" Rose stated as she passed the plates to her family. Spike got a better look at his dinner and it look something wrapped in dough and fried. "Wow! Fish sticks, my favorite!" Both Patch and Violet exclaimed in unison, before turning to each other and started chuckling before turning into laughter. I figured since your back after all this time, I thought it would be a good idea since it was your favorite meal and you might have liked to have some when you got back." She explained. Onyx looked over to Spike and noticed he was still examining his fish sticks curiously while the other twp had pratically devoured all of theirs. "Hey Spike, do you not like fish? If not we could get you something else." His father offered. Spike shook his head no. "It's not that dad, I just don't know if I would like it or not." Though answer confused him at first, Onyx remembered who raised Spike. "Oh yeah, raised by ponies. I forgot about that." He said while rubbing his head ackwardly. "It's alright, Princess Celestia offered to let me try meat once, but Twilight's brother was there and he got a little uncomfortable, so I turned it down." Spike informed. "That's very sweet of you dear, turning down a dragon delicacy to appease a friend. You can go ahead try my famous fish sticks if you like." She offered again. Spike took another at the fish sticks before shrugging and picked one up and took a bite. Immediately, his taste buds were filled with flavor and he immediately started eating at the same nutty pace as his siblings. "I think he likes it." Whisper remarked as he watched the dragon feeding frenzy. "That's for sure...." Jibanyan stated as the feeding frenzy ended. "Good to know your appetite is as big as three." Rose jokingly gestured to the other three dragons at the table who, like Spike, we're currently fighting off a food coma. "So if Twilight and her friends are in Canterlot for next three days, how did you two get here so quickly? It's a two week trip on foot from Equestria to here." Violet asked. The two immediately perked up and started getting nervous looks. "Oh just um... some special teleportion magic that I'm not allowed to reveal the secrets of." Spike answered quickly. While his parents gave him suspicious looks, Violet simply shrugged and got up. "I'm gonna go read something if anyone needs me." She informed before entering the living room grabbing a book from a nearby book shelf. "We'll go ahead and read too." Patch before he and Spike also entered the living room. After the two closed the door, Rose walked over to Onyx and asked. "Did they seem a little hesitant to answer that question to you too?" Onyx nodded in agreement. "There's definitely something those two don't want to tell us, Spike seems to be kind of a bad liar." Rose chuckled a little. "Let's wait till tonight to talk to them about it. I want to see them spend time with Violet." After picking up two books from the shelf, Spike and Patch sat down on the same couch as Violet. Though already opened his upon sitting down, Spike took a look at the book Violet was currently reading. "Hey uh... sis, what book are you reading there?" He asked in a curious tone. "Oh this? The cover should give you an idea." She then held out the front of the book, allowing Spike, Patch, and Whisper and Jibanyan to see the cover and the title. " 'Yo-Kai and The Supernatural Occurrences They Cause.' " Spike read the title out loud. "Yeah.... I'm kinda into the supernatural occurrences and according to this book, beings known as Yo-Kai are the cause of them. Some are mischievous and play pranks on ponies and dragons, while others help make others happy, or even cause a pony or dragon to act in a way they normally wouldn't." Spike and were both amazed that Violet knew so much about Yo-Kai. After finishing, she started blushing. "I know it's a little silly but I would give anything to meet a real live Yo-Kai. Mom and Dad say it's make believe, but I just know Yo-Kai are real." "Incredible.... and she doesn't even realize her own brother is a Yo-Kai and that she's talking to one right now...." Patch thought before saying. "We don't think it's silly at all, right Spike?" His brother nodded in response. "Yeah, it's cool to see something your so invested in." He stated with a smile. The little dragoness quickly gave her older siblings a big hug. "Thank you! You guys are the best!" She said with a smile on her face. That night in Patch's old room, which remarkably had a bed that was big enough for Patch's teenage form. Patch, who had taken off his changeling leaf, was sitting at the end of the bed with glum look on his face. "Hey Patch... is something wrong?" Spike asked concerned. "Yeah! I honestly don't know why your so glum right now. The reunion with your parentschedule went perfectly without a hitch!" Whisper stated with excitement in his voice. "Plus the fact you guys have a little sister too! And she's a fan of Yo-Kai, even though she can't see them." Jibanyan noted. Patch sighed while looking down. "Yeah but.... I still feel like a big fat liar. I mean, changing my appearance to what I used to look like before I turned into a Yo-Kai and fooling them into thinking that nothing horrible happened to me while I was gone and our sister doesn't even know her own big died before she was born!" He took a deep breath after his short rant. After making sure his brother was calm again, Spike then asked. "Then what do you want to do?" Patch looked up and sighed again. "I want to reveal the existence of Yo-Kai to all three of them." He stated with determination in his eyes. Whisper looked worried. "Are you sure?" Patch then sat up hopped off the bed and put the Changeling Leaf on his head. "More sure than anything." He stated as he opened the door, only find his parents standing there with Onyx looking like he was about to knock on the door. "Oh hey... Mom, Dad.... Listen, there's something me and Spike having keeping from you and Violet. Do you thin we could talk in the dining room? Please bring Violet too." Both parents stared at him for a minute. "Uh..... sure dear." Rose said a little bewildered. Both Dragon brother's went down the steps and into the dining room, with Onyx remarking. "Huh..... that was easier than I thought it would be." Receiving an eye roll from his wife. After retrieving Violet from her room, much to her confusion, the three entered the dining room where Patch and Spike were waiting. After taking their seats, Onyx was the first to speak up. "So what's the big secret?" Patch sighed. "It's a bit hard to explain, but to help make explaining easier, we need you three to touch Spike's watch please." All three family members gave him confused looks, though Violet was the first to speak up. "What's this got to do with wanting to tell us something?" "We'll explained in a few minutes, so please touch my watch." Spike insisted, holding his left wrist out. The three look at each other more confused than earlier before deciding to heed Patch's wishes. All three dragons held out heir hands as they reached for the watch. After touching the watch, they ended up getting the same shock effect similar to what happened with the CMC at the clubhouse. After the three recovered, Onyx rubbed his while muttering. "Whew.... that was a sensation." Onyx then looked up and saw what could only be a cartoon ghost. "And what the hay is that?" The Rose and Violet looked at him confused until looked up as well and gasped in shock. "Goodness! What is that?" Rose exclaimed. Violet looked at the ghost for a minute before widening her eyes and quickly ran and got her Yo-Kai book from earlier. She flipped through the pages until she found a picture of the exact same ghost. "Are... are you a Yo-Kai?" Violet stuttered out. "That's quite right my dear! I am Whisper, Yo-Kai butler extrodinare at your service!" The exclaimed, introducing himself. Violet immediately turned to her parents. "See? I told you Yo-Kai were real!" She exclaimed before suddenly bringing Whisper down to her and started barraging him with a lot of questions much to Whisper's bewilderment. "And I'm Jibanyan! Nyce to meet you guys!" Jibanyan greeted. Though they were both bewildered that the Yo-Kai their daughter always fantasized about turned to be a reality, they righted themselves quickly enough to chuckle at their daughters antics. "Well this is good and all, but why do you think this is such a big secret to keep from us?" Rose asked with brow raised. Patch gulped at this and knew that there was no turning back. "Like I said, revealing the existence of Yo-Kai to you was to help make this next explanation a bit easier to understand. Mom, Dad, Violet..... this is hard for me to put into words, so I'll let what I'm about to do tell you...." He muttered. Reaching for the leaf on top of his head, he mentally struggled to let himself take it off as his family members (except for Spike, who had a sad look on his face) looked at him confused. He eventually managed to yank the leaf off, causing a cloud of smoke to cover him completely. What emerged from the smoke was not Patch, but what looked like a young dragon Spike's size with a sad look on his face. "I turned into a Yo-Kai.... eight years ago." He stated reluctantly. All three stared at him with shocked expressions. "Wait.... if Yo-Kai are supposed ghosts, then that means....!" Rose gasped in realization as her family realized what that meant. Patch had died at some point after he ran away. Tears started beeping at both Onyx and Rose's eyes as Violet watched in stunned silence. Tears were starting to form on Patch's eyes and eventually started flowing freely as he weakly said. "I.... I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't want you to know what happened to me. I understand if you hate me-" He was unable to finish his sentence as he was pulled into a group hug with his parents. Their tears were flowing as well as Onyx said. "We don't hate you.... we're just surprised." While tightening the hug. "No more secrets from either of you. We want to know everything that happened after you left. Please.... we'll understand." Rose said comforting her son, who was now crying in his mother's arm. Spike and Violet had joined the group hug as well. After everyone calmed down and sat down in the living room, Patch began the story of what transpired after he ran away. It was about 11:00 pm by the time Patch and Spike were finished telling their story. Both Whisper and Jibanyan had added in stuff as well when necessary. Despite how long their story was, their audience had kept themselves awake through the whole thing. "I guess a lot can happen in eight years huh?" Onyx remarked. He then gave his son's a proud smile. "You two definitely make a great pair. And Patch, I am very proud of what you did to save that friend you made. Just one question: Draggie?" He said raising his brow, causing Patch to blush slightly. "It's my Yo-Kai name. It was the name I got when I became a Yo-Kai because I forgot my real one." Violet suddenly jumped in with her own question. "Are you saying some of your memory went away when it happened?" She asked curiously. Patch nodded in confirmation. Rose took another look at her Spike's watch. "You know Spike.... if it wasn't for you finding out about Yo-Kai in the first place, I don't think we all would be sitting here now." She noted as smiled. "I guess your right mom. If I never Whisper and got this crazy watch in the first place, I never would have met Patch at all." Spike said as he reminiscenced the day Yo-Kai had entered his life. "Is there anything else that watch can do besides revealing Yo-Kai?" Violet asked, staring intently at the watch. Spike let out a yawn before saying. "Yeah, but can you wait until tomorrow? I'm dog tired!" Onyx let out a chuckle. "He's right Violet. Baby dragons need their sleep." Though she wanted to object, Violet suddenly asleep right on the couch. Patch, who had put the Changeling Leaf back on, rolled his eyes and gently picked up his little sister. "Where's her room?" He asked quietly. "Up stairs and two doors left." Rose informed with a smile on her face. Patch nodded and walked the and into Violet's room. Setting her down in her bed and pulling the sheets over her, he briefly heard her mumble the word Yo-Kai in her sleep. Smiling softly, he leaned down and gave her a quick kiss on the fourhead. Mom! Dad! Wake up! I want to learn more about the Yo-Kai Watch from Patch and Spike!" A loud young voice yelled as Onyx stirred awake. "Five more minutes..." He mumbled tiredly. Rose opened her eyes slowly and turned toward the clock next to her. "Violet.... it's 6:00 am in the morning. Can't this wait till later?" She tiredly asked her daughter. Violet was now pulling her father's arm trying to drag him out of the bed. She eventually managed to succeed with one big yank, ending with Onyx hitting face flat on the floor. "I take that as a no then?" With her parents now fully awake, Violet immediately dashed to her brother's room to give them the same wake up call, but upon opening the door, she found it was unnecessary. Rose and Onyx walked up behind her and joined in Violet's bewilderment as they watched the scene in front of them. Spike, Patch, and Jibanyan were standing there lined up with blood shot eyes as Whisper floated around holding a checklist. "Whisper..... it's six in the morning! Why are we up this early!?" Spike moaned. "Because your sister is gonna be asking questions about Yo-Kai the entire morning and I want all of us to be prepared for what she'll ask us." Whisper informed to the other three tired grumbling. "Uh.... Mr. Whisper, I was actually more interested in the Yo-Kai Watch itself." A familiar voice from behind stated. They all turned to see Viiolet, Rose, and Onyx standing there and looked like they were holding down a giggle. Whisper chuckled sheepishly. "Well uh.... it looks like the wake up call wasn't necessary at all then." Whisper nervously stated with a sheepish grin. "Yeah apparently, but.... HERE'S A REAL WAKE UP CALL!!!!!!!!!" Spike shouted as he swung his frying pan and hit Whisper across the room and into the wall. "Is morning for you guys always like this?" Onyx asked his tired son. Patch simply sighed. "Only when Whisper is being paticulary annoying." He stated with a yawn. Everyone then went down to the kitchen where Rose was currently what to serve for breakfast. "Hmm... the cabinets are a little higher then what I'm used to, but I should be able to whip all of us up some pancakes." Both Rose and Onyx stared at him before said. "You can cook?" Spike was throughly enjoying his first full day with his dragon family. Though Rose was reluctant to let her ten year old perform the deceptively dangerous task of cooking, consant nagging from Patch about Spike being an excellent cook eventually convinced her to let him try, if with some adult supervision. "Well dear, I was guess I was afraid for nothing. You certainly seem quite skilled." Rose stated as they beheld the incredible pancake spread they had made together. "I'm just happy to have someone who isn't hopeless in the kitchen. I love Twilight and all, but there's a reason I cook all our meals." Spike jokingly informed, gaining a giggle from Violet. "While we're eating, I'll start with the basics of how the Yo-Kai Watch works." Spike stated to his sister's delight, who immediately took a seat next to her brother. "Plus, I could explain it better than Whisper ever could." He stated sarcastically. "For the last time, I am a leading expert on Yo-Kai!" Whisper angrily defended. Spike simply ignored before continuing. "To begin, the Yo-Kai Watch gives a pony, or dragon in this case, the ability to see the normally invisible Yo-Kai." He then pressed the button on the side, which opened the dome and started shining the familiar blue spotlight. "That's awesome!" Violet esclaimed. Spike chuckled a little. "Believe me sis, this is just the tip of the ice berg." Whisper then floated down holding the Yo-Kai Medallium. "I brought this just in case." Spike nodded and Whisper proceeded to hand him the Medallium. "What's that?" Violet asked curiously. "This is the Yo-Kai Medallium." Spike informed before opening it, revealing all the Yo-Kai medals he had gotten so far. "These are the Yo-Kai Medals. This basically represent the friendship between me and a Yo-Kai." Spike stated. Violet leaned for a better look and noticed on the very first page a medal with a picture of her brother Patch's Yo-Kai form, Draggie. "Is this Patch?" She asked. "Yep, he was the first Yo-Kai I met and became friends with." Patch smiled softly and reminiscenced the day he met his brother even though he didn't realize it at first. "They sure are pretty." Violet said admiring the design. Spike smiled a little. "Yeah they are, but they are more than just for show. I can use them to summon my Yo-Kai friends whenever I need their help." Violet's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow! Can you please show us?" She asked excitedly. "Of course! I'll have come help me out." Patch nodded and took off the Changeling Leaf and handed it to father. "Hold this please." He asked politely. Spike then took out Patch's medal and headed to more clear part of the kitchen. "To demostrate, I'll go back inside my room and wait for Spike to summon me." Patch stated before heading up to his room. When he shouted that he was ready, Spike opened the watch. "Come on out my friend! " Spike shouted as he tossed the medal into the air. "Calling Draggie!" And in one swift motion, he caught the medal and inserted it into the watch. "Yo-Kai medal, do your thing!" "Summoning Slippery!" A voice shouted as an light blue swirling portal emerged from the watch. "Trippery! Gippery! Slimey whimey do, Slippery!" A funny sounding tune played as Patch danced to it and finished with a pose. "Draggie!" "And voila!" Spike and Patch exclaimed in unison. "Well that certainly interesting." Rose stated with an amused smile. "Heh, your telling me, I didn't know you could dance so well." Onyx said jokingly. "That was so amazing!" Violet excitedly. Spike rolled his eyes. "Why do I feel like we're gonna be here all day?" He said to himself. Violet's New Watch The family of five dragons were currently sitting in the living room trying to figure what to on their last day before Spike and Patch had to return to Ponyville that night. Spike looked up for a minute and noticed Jibanyan was about to exit the house. "Hey Jibanyan, where are you off to?" Jibanyan turned around after hearing the question. "Oh, I'm just heading to Yo-Kai World to pick up this month's Next Harmeowny Magazine." He informed. "Yo-Kai World!?" Violet nearly shouted. Spike pondered for a second. "Oh yeah, I remember Whisper mentioning something like that the day we met." Spike said as he recalled the memory. "That's right, I've been there a couple times myself." Patch informed as his sister's face was beaming brightly. "Can we go!?" Violet asked excitedly. "We're fine with it if Whisper says it's okay." Whisper pondered for a few minutes. "I don't see any problems myself, plus this may be a good way for you all to spend your last day together before we have to go home, and luckily for you, normal Equestrian bits are used as currency there as well." Whisper stated with a proud smile. "But how do we get there?" Spike asked. "The same way we got here, with Mirapo's help." Whisper told them. "Someone call?" They all turned to see Mirapo standing there in the doorway. "Mirapo? What are you still doing here?" Jibanyan asked. "I was just walking by when I overheard your conversation. I'd been be fine with taking you to Yo-Kai World." He kindly offered. Several minutes later, the family and Yo-Kai were all set and ready for their trip to Yo-Kai World. "I have the camera ready and the bits we need in case we want to get a souvenir." Onyx announced. "Everyone ready?" Whisper asked. When they all nodded, Whisper turned to Mirapo. "Alright Mirapo, your up!" Mirapo than lit up and sucked all the dragons and Yo-Kai in the living room. Violet slowly opened her eyes and gaped at the amazing sight before her. The area they were in looked reminiscent of Neighpon from the books she read in her family's book collection. Cherry blossom trees lined the street as several paper lamps hung on different buildings. What really amazed her were the amount of Yo-Kai milling the streets. "Wow... so this the Yo-Kai World...." She heard her brother mumble near her. "Incredible..." Onyx mentioned as he gazed his surroundings. Whisper then flew up in the middle of the group. "Alright all of you, we have a few hours to kill, so let's meet back here in a few hours." "Well I feel like looking for a history museum around here, so if anyone feels like coming, speak up now." Rose offered. "I'll go with you, I've been here before, so i don't want you getting lost Mom." Patch stated. Rose smiled and gestured for him to follow her. "I'm gonna to go pick my fanzine from the store and head to the cafe after that." Jibanyan informed and took off, Whisper deciding to come along. "Well I guess that leaves just us then." Spike stated. "Why don't we go souvenir hunting and sightseeing, it's better than following your mother to the museum." Onyx joked. "I heard that." They heard Rose call from a distance, causing Onyx to wince much to Spike and Violet's giggling. "I swear she has ears that are as sensitive as a bat sometimes." Onyx muttered under his breath. Both siblings rolled their eyes and the three went on with their day of exploration. The three were thoroughly enjoying their visit to Yo-Kai World, especially Violet. They had visited several shops, where Spike bought a cool necklace with a green flame gem embedded into it. Onyx bought a souvenir key chain with a picture of him and his kids inside it. Their last stop before they had to go back home was a rather curious looking clock shop called 'Timer's and More'. To Spike's surprise, an old brown colored unicorn pony was sitting at the counter tinkering with something. "Ah customers!" He exclaimed after seeing the three come in. Spike approached the counter with a curious look on his face. "I don't mean to be rude or anything but what's a unicorn pony doing in a place like this?" He asked. The old unicorn chuckled. "I take your Spike, the dragon that's been befriending Yo-Kai left and right?" When nodded in surprise, the old pony than said. "My name's Mr. Goodsight and I'll let you three in on a little secret, I'm actually a Yo-Kai." The pony explained. "Really?" Spike asked back. "Quite so my boy, some Yo-Kai like to take pony or dragon forms and live among the respective cultures." Mr. Goodsight than looked at the watch on Spike's wrist and took a closer look at it. "Ah yes, I remember making this model myself." Spike's eyes widened. "You created the Yo-Kai Watch!?" He nearly shouted, causing Goodsight to chuckle again. "Not technically, I based this one of someone else's design. If I remember correctly, a dragon created the very first one. Tell you what, I can upgrade your watch to help you befriend stronger Yo-Kai in the future, free of charge." He offered. "Really!? Thanks Mr. Timore!" Spike said thanking him. "Anytime young lad." While Mr. Goodsight got to work on the watch, Violet and Onyx were currently browsing the selection of watch's he had on sale. At one point, Violet walked past and didn't notice what looked like an over sized pocket watch that was purple in color and had a pink flame pattern and had a pink wrapped on a handle to make it look like a necklace. "Buy me... Buy me..." a faint said out of nowhere. Violet jolted a little when she heard the voice and looked around the shop looking for the source. When she found nothing, she sighed to herself and was about continue walking when the voice interrupted again. "Buy me... Buy me... Buy me please...." The voice said again. Violet heeded the voice reluctantly and turned around and finally noticed the pocket watch sitting there with a price tag. She walked and started examining the watch and after picking it up. "I wonder what that weird voice was.... but this is a pretty nice watch though and the pink flames on it match the color of my flame." She said to herself before making her decision. She walked over to father, who was still browsing around, and tapped his shoulder. "Can I have this daddy?" She asked politely. Onyx turned in her direction and noticed the watch she was holding and gave her smile. "Of course pumpkin." 'And I'm finished!" Mr. Goodsight suddenly announced. "Just in time too." Onyx remarked as the the two made their way to the counter. "Thanks!" Spike said as he held his newly upgraded watch. "No problem and just so you know, I have another shop set up in the town of Ponyville if you ever need to upgrade the watch again." He informed. "Look's like we're just in time." They heard Onyx comment as he and Violet walked over. Violet then put the watch she was carrying on the counter in front of Mr. Goodsight. "I take it the little lady would like to buy this?" Goodsight questioned with a smile, receiving a nod from Violet in the process. "That'll be five bits then." He said stating his offer. The family walked out of the store, thanking Mr. Goodsight on the way out. Violet put her head through the necklace hole and wore the minute they walked out. They met up with everyone else back at the plaza where they separated, with Mirapo still there. Rose noticed the new watch around Violet's neck and quickly complimented her. "Well Violet, that watch looks certainly beautiful on you. It even match's the color of your pink flames." "Thanks Mom." Violet said while blushing. Whisper looked at the watch with a curious look before Spike cut in. "We have one more hour to kill before we have to go back to Equestria, anyone got any suggestions?" He asked. "Why don't go to my favorite park?" Violet suggested. "That sounds like a great idea sis!" Patch praised. Whisper still eyed Violet's Watch as Mirapo teleported all of them to Violet's favorite playground. Everyone immediately started going around the swings and slides and seesaws and other playground equipment. Spike noticed Whisper looking through the Yo-Kai more diligently than usual. "Hey Whisper, is something up?" He asked getting everyone's attention. "Something about Violet's watch." He asnwered onimously. "No it couldn't be...." He muttered rather loudly. "What couldn't be?" Violet asked a little concerned. "Violet, your watch is actually another model of the Yo-Kai Watch!" Whisper exclaimed, causing to gasp in shock. Violet looked at the watch again. "Now that Whisper mentions it, the clock face does have have the same design as Spike's...." She thought as she examined it further when suddenly the air around them suddenly really cold for some reason. "Brrr! Why is it so cold all of a sudden? It's the middle of August!" Onyx stated annoyed. "Whisper do you think there's Yo-Kai at work here?" Spike asked his friend. "Please, in case you've forgotten, cold is a Pegasi controlled phenomenon. You can't just blame Yo-Kai for single in life and- Hey! Are you even listening to me!?" Whisper angrily yelled as Spike was talking to Violet. "Violet, if that really is a Yo-Kai Watch, then try pressing the button on the side there and use it to find the Yo-Kai responsible for this." Spike instructed. Violet gulped nervously and pressed the button on the side, causing the watch to open up like Spike's does and started glowing a blue spotlight. She then aimed the watch around until she found a small silluette sitting on a bench nearby. The silluette eventually revealed what looked like a small pale-skinned human girl with cyan eyes. A small amount of dull, dark blue hair with gray-blue tips was visible under her cape's hood; which was ice-blue with white bubbly texture so far down. She wore a blue kimono with a white band and gold boots. "Wow! I actually found a Yo-Kai!" Violet exclaimed excitedly. "What!?" Whisper exclaimed in shock. "Keep it together Whisper, who is that Yo-Kai?" Patch asked annoyed. After Whisper regained composure, he started looking through the Yo-Kai Pad and found what he was looking for. "Ah now I remember, her name is Frostina from the Charming Tribe. She basically causes unexpected snowstorms to occur if she is upset. After Whisper explained this, Violet noticed that Frostina was crying. She slowly approached the distressed Yo-Kai and sat next, much to her parents worry. "Excuse me.... Frostina?" She asked nervously. Frostina looked up after hearing the voice and noticed Violet lookin at her. "Oh my, can you see me?" She asked timidly. Violet nodded. "Yeah, my name is Violet and those two are my brother's, Spike and Patch." She stated introducing her older siblings. "If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me why your crying like this?" She aasked politely. Frostina sniffed again. "A mean bully stole the hairclip my mother gave me and won't give it back." She teary confessed. "Where's this bully at?" Violet asked concerned. "He's up in that tree." She informed, pointing a finger at the tree next to her. Violet once shined her Yo-Kai lens at the tree and revealed a bird like silluette. The Yo-Kai was eventually revealed a plump, purple bird, with his belly being a different shade of purple. He had short legs with three talons (two in the front, one in the back). His eyes were long and narrow with yellow irises. His beak was wide and thin. He had a long gray feather sticking from his head that had a yellow leaf-like feather attached to it. "Not this guy.... his name is Peckpocket from the Eerie Tribe and he inspirits ponies to basically take other ponies things." Whisper explained. Violet leaned toward Spike a little. "What do I now?" She asked nervously. "Negotiation or confrontation." He simply stated. Violet gulped and hesitantly approached the Yo-Kai in the tree. "E...excuse me, Mr. Peckpocket?" She said hesitantly, gaining the Yo-Kai's attention. "You want something?" He asked rather rudely. "Would you please return Frostina's hair clip please?" She asked politley. Peckpocket scoffed at this. "No way. What's mine is mine, what's yours is mine, mine all mine, all of it is mine. Which will soon include those cool watchs you and that other dragon have." He briefly gloated. "Well I guess it's confrontation then. Think about what might defeat and try it, okay?" Spike stated calmly. Violet took a deep breath and pondered for a minute. She looked at the branch Peckpocket was currently on and noticed it was rather thin. She then looked over to Frostina and an idea popped in her head. She put her mouth close to Frostina's ear and whispered something. "We'll alright, if your sure." The young Yo-KaI said a little unsure of herself. She then began to cast some ice magic and blew a gust of cold air straight at Peckpocket, causing him to freeze everywhere except his head and and arms. The weight of his icy prison immediately snapped the flimsy branch and he fell straight to the ground. "Yo-u wi-i-in...." He stated shivering from the cold and immediately gave back the hair clip, causing Frostina to jump for joy. "Oh thank you Violet!" She said praising her. Violet smiled at this before noticing a blue light enveloping Frostina which in turn caused a Yo-Kai Medal to materialize. "Please take this as a symbol of our friendship." Frostina offered. "My first Yo-Kai Medal..." Violet said with a smile on her face. "T-t-t-take mi-mi-mine t-t-too..." Peckpocket stated still shivering, offering his medal as well. "Ooo! Two medals on your first day! Good work Violet!" Jibanyan praised. They proceeded to leave the park after saying farewell to Frostina and the still frozen Peckpocket. Whisper then handed Violet a Yo-Kai Medallium for her to use. "This is for you Violet. The Medallium'should you and your now own have a special functionality. Whenever two ponies or dragons in this case, who share the same blood both gain Yo-Kai Watch's, whenever one of you collects a new medal and put it in their respective Medalliums, that medal becomes available to use for the other sibling." Whisper explained thoroughly. "Hey Rose, could you have imagined that three days ago we would end up learning about supernatural beings and that our own son is one of them." Onyx remarked to his wife. "I know what you mean. Now our daughter is able to interact with them as well, we have a weird family huh?" Rose silently joked. As they continued walking to the house when she suddenly felt like something was watching her. Turning her head in a certain direction, she caught sight of what looked like a blue cat similar to Jibanyan in appearance. standing on top of a tall tree. He had a scar shaped like an X on his forehead andalso wore a red cape and belt with a blue and red swirl in the center buckle. Blinking for a second, the found the figure was gone. Looking around again, she shook her head clear. "I could've sworn I saw someone on that tree. My eyes are probably just playing tricks on me." She thought as the family reached the house. "I guess it's time to return home for us...." Spike muttered in a sad tone. "Lose the glum look will ya?" Onyx sarcastically stated. "It's not like this is goodbye forever. We still have your friend Mirapo so you can come visit us." He then gave his son a long hug and was joined by Rose. "It was so great finally meeting you." He mumbled. "There is something we want to ask of you though." Rose stated. "What's that?" Spike asked back. "We were thinking you could help us enroll Violet at your school in Ponyville." Onyx stated for his wife. The questioned completely caught Spike off guard. "Really!?" He asked shock. They both nodded in response. "We enroll her there because she often gets bullied by the older dragons around here aND enrolling her at your school where there aren't that many students would help her greatly." Rose stated firmly. "Well I could try and talk to Princess Celestia about it first because she's gonna want to know about all of you and we would to come up with a way for you all to meet Twilight and her friends. Other than that, I'm perfectly okay with it." Spike said with a smile. "Yes! I going to go to school with my big brother!" Violet shouted excitedly. "Well I think we better get home before Twilight does, so see you all later!" Spike shouted as he, Patch, Whisper, and Jibanyan departed through Mirapo. Violet looked down at her watch with a smile. "I can't wait to see all the crazy adventures me and Spike are gonna have now that we both have Yo-Kai Watch's!" She excitedly thought as she aND her parents entered their home. Unknown to any of them, the blue cat Yo-Kai that Violet saw was sitting near the edge of the lake watching the family as they entered the house. "At least I managed to get her to buy the watch. I don't what I would've done if I wasn't able to keep the Kaima Yo-Kai from destroying before she got it. Violet needs that watch in order to help keep the time line in check. Good thing it was made with special parts that keep it from getting erased from history. I better get back to my point time, or everyone will be worried." And with that, the blue cat dissappeared through a swirling blue time portal. It's Recap Time! "Hey Spike, Violet! Who'd you two meet today?" Whisper asked the siblings. "Well I met Wazzat, Drizzle, and Mirapo." Spike listed the Yo-Kai he met. "And I met Frostina and Peckpocket." Violet stated. Spike Patch, Violet, and Whisper were standing at a bus stop in the middle of the desert when Whisper suddenly said. "I don't like this Peckpock-" He was suddenly interrupted as Peckpocket swiped the Yo-Kai Pad from Whisper going. "Meet Meep!" As he took off running. Whisper quickly gave chase. "Your gonna blow my cover! They can't know! They can't know!" Whisper shouted before running straight into a stone wall and boulder crushed as Spike remarked. "We already know dude."
