The Easter Disaster: An Easter Special

The CMC walked side by side from school. They actively chattered about the upcoming holiday.

"So, girls, are you all excited for Easter?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Heck yeah! I can't wait to collect all of the eggs," Scootaloo said.

"Yeah. And it's especially going to be interesting with Glazing Patterns," Sweetie Belle said. A filly with red and yellow mane, and a light green coat with matching eyes trotted up next to the CMC.

"You'll surely find your cutie mark now, Glazing. I can feel it," Scootaloo said. to the unicorn filly.

"I sure hope so," Glazing began. "It's really nice of you all to help me find my cutie mark."

"It's our special talent to help fillies and colts in need," Apple Bloom said.

"Anyways, I gotta go now. I can't wait for Easter tomorrow, bye!" Glazing waved as she trotted to her house. Glazing decided to get some rest before Easter, so she can collect as much eggs as possible.

...

Glazing woke up as the sun pored out from her window. She yawned, and stretched her hooves. Realization soon crept to her mind. "It's Easter!" Glazing exclaimed to herself. She quickly got ready, and went downstairs.

"Good morning, Glazing," her mother greeted her.

"Hi, Mom," Glazing greeted back. She quickly stuffed her pancakes into her mouth before saying,"I gotta go, bye!" Glazing raced out to the clubhouse. Today was a special day for her. Not only was it Easter, but Glazing had a strong feeling that she was finally going to get her cutie mark. She approached her friends, who were waiting for her.

"Hi, Glazing," Sweetie Belle waved to her. Four baskets were placed in the middle of the group.

"Okay, girls, let's go," Scootaloo said. The rest began to follow her.

The eggs were hidden all over Ponyville. Each filly went in different directions. Soon, mostly every colt and filly were out hunting for eggs. After a while, after all the eggs were gone, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Glazing all joined together.

"How much did you all get get?" Scootaloo asked. Each of them dumped out their eggs from their basket, and began to count.

"I got sixteen," Apple Bloom announced.

"I got twenty," Sweetie Belle said.

"I got forty-two," Scootaloo said.

"I got fifty-eight." Glazing announced.

"Wow, Glazing, that's a lot!" Sweetie Belle said. "You beat Scootaloo! Every year, she was the one who always collected more eggs than us."

Sweetie belle used her magic to crack the egg. "Oooh, a chocolate bunny!" Sweetie Belle turned around to look at her friends. But the only expression on their faces was fear.

"Um, Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo asked. "You might want to look behind you."

Sweetie Belle turned around to see a giant chocolate monster. It held it's drippy paws at the CMC and Glazing, ready to stuff them in its mouth. "Run!" Sweetie Belle clamored.

The fillies ran as fast as they could. "What was that?!" Glazing asked.

"Well..." Sweetie Belle began.

Twilight sorted through her books. She was organizing them in order. Just as she was about to put her last book into one of her bookshelves, a knock came from the door. "Come in!" She called out.

"Hi Twilight," Sweetie Belle greeted as she trotted in.

"Do you need anything, Sweetie Belle?" Twilight asked as she approached the filly.

"Could you do me a favor?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Sure, what is it?" Twilight asked.

"Since it's Easter, I was wondering you could make a little surprise," Sweetie Belle began. "I've been searching the library for a spell that could make the chocolate bunnies in the eggs real. Then everypony would have their own real chocolate bunny!"

"Sweetie Belle, that's highly dangerous! There could be a big possibility of a mishap. We don't want to risk it," Twilight said.

"But you're an alicorn! And you're the best pony at magic I know! There's no way you could mess up," Sweetie Belle said.

"But there's still a chance of danger. It's better to be safe," Twilight argued.

"Pleeease?" Sweetie Belle begged. Twilight tried to resist her puppy eyes.

"Well..." Twilight began. "I guess a little magic won't hurt."

"Yay!" Sweetie Belle cheered.

Sweetie Belle looked sheepish after she finished telling her story.

"So you did this?" Scootaloo questioned, still running from the chocolate bunny monster that was chasing them.

"It was for a good cause!" Sweetie Belle defended.

"Wait, where's Glazing?" Apple Bloom asked. The CMC stopped in their tracks, only to find the red and yellow maned filly gone. "We have to hide," Apple Blooms said. She led her friends to hide behind a bush. Luckily, the monster missed them, and went in the other direction. Other chocolate bunny monsters were all over Ponyville. The Ponyville residents were scattered across the town, running for their lives.

"Does a week go by where there isn't some crisis in Ponyville?" Scootaloo asked to nopony in particular.

"We gotta get ta Twilight's castle now. We can look for Glazing later," Apple Bloom said. The three fillies snuck through the crisis. They knocked on the doors to Twilight's castle.

"Oh good, you came," Twilight said. She stepped aside to let them in.

"Glazing!" The CMC exclaimed in unison.

"Hi girls!" Glazing was embraced in a hug. "I knew I had to come here because there had to be a cure in this library somewhere. I'm sorry I had to leave you behind."

"It's alright," Scootaloo said. "Besides, you had to go because of Twilight's accident on the spell."

"Accident?" Twilight questioned, looking at Sweetie Belle expectantly for an explanation.

"Well..." Sweetie Belle began.

"Are you sure that's enough magic, Twilight?" Sweetie Belle asked. She had brought all of the eggs before they were hidden. "That was only just a tiny spark of magic."

"Remember, we want to stay safe. And we don't want to overdo the spell," Twilight reminded.

"But what if there's not enough magic to make all of the chocolate bunnies alive?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Then all of the fillies and colts would be upset."

"I'm sure that there's enough. You're book even said so," Twilight said. She showed the spell book that Sweetie Belle had brought her. And just like Twilight had said, there was the same amount of magic required that Twilight had just given to the eggs.

"But what if the book is wrong?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Books can never be wrong," Twilight said. "If this ever got tampered with, it could cause a lot of destruction."

"I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be back," Twilight said.

A mischievous idea came to Sweetie Belle's mind. "Okay, Twilight," Sweetie Belle waved innocently. Then when Twilight was gone, she took the spell book that was the on the table. Looking at the spell, she gave the eggs an excessive amount of magic. They sparkled and shined even more then they use to. The spell tired Sweetie Belle. "Wow, I didn't even know I could do that!"

"Sweetie Belle, I'm back!" Twilight said, causing Sweetie Belle to jump.

"Oh, hi Twilight!" Sweetie Belle plastered a nervous smile. "Well, I'll be going then, with the eggs, to hide them."

"Shouldn't you need some help, those are a lot of eggs," Twilight said.

"No, I'll be fine!" Sweat started to form on Sweetie Belle's brow. She quickly pushed the big cart of eggs as fast as she can. It took a while until she was out of sight.

"Oh, Sweetie Belle! You forgot your... Book," Twilight said. She levitated it with her magic. She could only see a glimpse of the cart of eggs. Twilight decided to give it to her later, and started walking away, but something stopped her in her tracks. "Wait a minute, those eggs looked a little too shiny."

By the time Sweetie Belle finished her story, everypony in the room was glaring at her. "Sorry," she shrugged sheepishly.

"I think I've figured a solution!" Glazing announced. "The book says the chocolate bunnies scan only stop for good if they're frozen."

"Lucky for you, I got just what you need," Twilight said.

"Come on girls, yall know what ta do," Apple Bloom said once she got as look of what Twilight brought,

Glazing and her friends stood in the middle of the Ponyville streets. They each had a freeze gun in their hoof. They shot every last bunny until there were no more left.

"We did it!" Glazing cheered.

"Glazing, look!" Sweetie Belle pointed to her flank. "You got your cutie mark!"

Glazing turned around to see. Her eyes lit up at the sight. "I did!" There was a chocolate bunny being freezed by a freeze gun as her cutie mark.

"Now we know who to call when we have a chocolate bunny monster emergency," Scootaloo said.

Just in the corner of her eye, Glazing could see a batch of Easter eggs hatching more chocolate bunny monsters.

"We must've forgotten the," Glazing said. "Here we go again."
