Optimism

As Fluttershy watched Rainbow Dash twist and turn in the air, she took some time to think, Wow Rainbow Dash is really good, I wish I could be as confident as she is. And pretty. Rainbow Dash is really pretty. She’s so fit, I can see all her toned muscles, especially her flank. She has a really toned flank-oh! Fluttershy you naughty filly, thinking about Rainbow Dash like that. You know she’s just a friend, she says it all the time. I wish she would just come down here and lay down with me in the grass. Oh! Here she comes.
“Hey Shy, what did ya think?” Rainbow Dash asked, puffing up her chest a bit.
“It was lovely.” Fluttershy replied.
“Aww c’mon Shy, you know it was totally awesome!” Rainbow said, doing a small flip in the air.
“Okay Rainbow Dash, it was awesome.” Fluttershy smiled.
“Haha yea, you bet your sweet flank it was!” Rainbow said, not realizing the way Fluttershy interpreted this. “You okay Fluttershy? Your face is all red.”
“Mmmmmmhm just fine.” Fluttershy whispered. “Why don’t you get back to your tricks.” As soon as she said it, the sound of thunder filled the air.
“Yea, I guess not, Last time I practiced in a thunderstorm I almost got struck by lightning.” Rainbow Dash said. “Hey, it’s probably gonna start raining pretty hard soon, can I crash at your place?”
“Uh... of course you can.” Fluttershy said.
“All right! Thanks Fluttershy! Now I get to spend time with my number one filly!” Rainbow said. And just like that, years of anticipation from Fluttershy and naivety from Rainbow Dash came to a front in Fluttershy’s mind. She pulled Rainbow Dash close to her and leaned in just in front of her muzzle, a look of surprise on Rainbow’s face.
“You’re such an optimist.” Fluttershy spoke softly and as seductively as she could, and kissed her.
About a minute later she broke it off, leaving Rainbow Dash completely stunned.
“Uh... So we’re still going to your place right?” Rainbow asked. Fluttershy giggled.
“Of course.” She said, as she walked she trailed her wingtip down the side of Rainbow Dash’s body. “You coming?”
“Uh.” Rainbow laughed nervously, voice cracking, “Yea.”
