It was a normal friday at CHS as the students were eating their lunches as the group then sat down at their table and discussed the usual things Soul was talking about star wars as Treble kept calling it spaceballs making him upset which made the group snicker a bit at his frustration, Fang was not listening to anything except his music since he had his headphones on but as well was thinking about yesterday ‘What the hell happened yesterday? My heart just started thumping like it was having trouble pumping blood…. what the hell is going on with me?’ Fang asked in his head as his thoughts were conflicting with each other as he tried to hide his frustration. Soon Pinkie came up to the group as she said “Guys! I think I know a way to cheer Fang up, a welcome to Canterlot High party!” Pinkie exclaimed as the group thought for a minute but soon agreed to the idea as Soul spoke “That is a great idea Pinkie, we think it would really cheer him up.” Soul said as the group agreed to the idea as Fang did not hear any of it as Pinkie then said “Great the party will be at seven tonight at Sugarcube corner, so don't be late.” Pinkie said as she bounced away as the group had another problem on their hands “How do we get Fang to go to Sugarcube corner tonight?” Artemis asked as the group wondered as Twilight was texting her friends about the party as the group was wondering how to get him there but would come to that when they come to it.
Over at Crystal Prep the group of friends were in the hall as Sugarcoat`s phone goes off, she then picks it up to see that she had gotten a text from Twilight as she then showed the group about the party happening tonight as they agreed when Sugarcoat walked up to Rapid as he then said “Sorry Sugarcoat but I got a lot of homework to do tonight, maybe next time alright?” Rapid asked as Sugarcoat nodded but she had felt sad for that he would not go to the party with her as then Indigo walked up to her and said “Its fine Sugarcoat i'm betting he will come later into the party.” Indigo said to Sugarcoat, she just nodded and walked away a bit towards her next class as Indigo just sighed and shook her head ‘Those two are in a relationship but they don't do anything together. But I know they will someday I know that for a fact, however what happened yesterday with that guy? Fang… my heart never felt like that before, maybe I should ask Lemon about this.’ Indigo said in her head as she headed for gym class walking past Eclipse and their new history teacher Mr. Snow Bullet as he was scolding him. Indigo walked into her next class before lunch which was gym, she walked into the locker room to get changed into her gym clothes as the bell had just rang meaning by she was close to being late for class, she lets out a sigh of relief and walks out of the locker room to see that class was about to begin.
The teacher walked to the front and spoke “Alright everyone today is friday so that means we're playing dodgeball today, so Lemon Zest and Lone Wolf will be team captains.” The teacher had said as the two began to pick out their teams where Indigo was on Lemon Zests team as the game began, dodge balls had began to fly from both sides of the of the gym, students were getting hit left and right as Indigo threw a ball and hit Lone Wolf in the chest knocking the wind out of him as he then dropped the ball as behind him was Eclipse as he threw the ball right at Indigo as she then dropped to the floor as behind her Ledger got hit right in the face and did a flip backwards and landed on the ground on his head. Eclipse began to laugh at Ledger's pain as Indigo then threw a ball at Eclipse as he then caught it sending Indigo to the bench as she sat down next to Lemon Zest as she asked “You got out by Eclipse to huh?” Lemon asked as Indigo nodded as she said “I'm surprised he got me out this time, last few times I got him out.” Indigo said with a bit of a smile at the statement as in a blue moon for her she would lose but she would be happy if someone did knowing that they surpassed her and she would need to train harder as she saw it was a trial and error thing for her.
Indigo began to think about what the party tonight was about tonight as it peaked her interest as Lemon was trying to get her attention “Huh? Oh sorry Lemon was just thinking about the party tonight.” Indigo said with a small smile as Lemon then said “Really? Or are you thinking about something different? Like that one guy you were talking to, you know the one with the kitchen knife and the metallic canine.” Lemon said listing things off as Indigo was trying to hide her blush, Lemon began to laugh as she said “Oh faust you were thinking about him!” Lemon exclaimed as Indigo shoved her a bit and responded “I was not, I was thinking about the party.” Indigo insisted with a blush on her face as she shoved Lemon who was now giggling. Lemon soon calmed down and spoke “Come on Indigo i’m messing with you, it’s fine if you like him.” Lemon had said to her friend as Indigo let out a sigh as Lemon spoke again “So when is the date?” Lemon asked with a bit of a smirk as Indigo bursted out laughing shoving Lemon once more as she fell off of the bench, “See now don’t you feel better?” Lemon asked as Indigo nodded but soon looked down and asked “Does that explain what I was feeling yesterday?” Indigo asked Lemon then became confused as she continued “I mean my heart was pounding like crazy and I…. started to become nervous…” Indigo said in a low tone as Lemon got back up on the bench and spoke “Ah Indigo you got feelings for him.” Lemon said in a bit of a teasing tone but still a happy one as Indigo just shot her a glare but soon spoke again “I just don't know Lemon, I mean we just met yesterday and we only know a little bit about each other and that is it.” Indigo said as Lemon spoke up “So why not try hanging out, getting to know each other first.” Lemon suggested, Indigo nodded in agreement as the teacher called for the students to get changed for they could head to lunch.
Time Skip: Around Six-Thirty…
Fang was sitting on his couch watching his tv as his phone goes off “Hello?” Fang asks as Artemis was on the other end of the line as he spoke “Hey Fang, we were wondering if you can come to Sugarcube corner.” Artemis said as Fang thought for a minute as he then said “Alright I can but it will take a bit of time for me to get there, my car is in the shop.” Fang said to the Artemis as he understood and hung up, Fang then got off the couch and turned of the tv as he grabbed his keys and walked out of the house locking the door behind him. Back with Artemis and the group “Alright guys he said he will be here as soon as he can, it's going to take his some time since his car is in the shop.” Artemis said as the group agreed, while they were setting up the rest of the stuff up as Artemis got a text from Fang as he spoke “Guys he's almost here, quick shut off the lights!” Artemis yelled as they all hid behind something as Fang was walking up the street towards the store. Fang was examining the store as the lights were out as he began to push the door a bit ‘Huh… unlocked, though as well strange.’ Fang said in his head as he was very cautious as he grabbed his knife out of the sheath and pulled it out of his messanger bag, then walked in. Fang looked around a bit as his eyes adjusted quickly ‘Thank faust I spent most of the time in the dark, it's like I got night vision almost.’ Fang spoke in his head as he chuckled a bit as the lights turned on as everyone jumped out and yelled “SURPRISE!” Everyone yelled as Fang then screamed and jumped back in a defensive stance with the knife in front of him but soon relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief as he saw it was everyone, he then put the blade away back in its sheath “Sorry about that guys, not very good with surprises.” Fang said with a nervous smile as the group just chuckled a bit.
Fang walked forward as he looked around a bit as a banner read ‘Welcome to CHS Fang!’, Fang looked at the banner and was confused as he asked “Is this a party?” Fang asked as the group nodded when Pinkie then asked “You been to a party before… right?” Pinkie asked as Fang shook his head as the group then became confused until he spoke “The only parties I ever went to were birthday parties and that was only mine, Junebug`s and my two sisters parties.” Fang said as he counted the only parties he went to ever were just birthday parties, the group was surprised by this as Fang spoke more “The reason why I say that is in the eyes of others I am a freak, a geek, a complete weirdo and a lot more names as well…” Fang said trailing off a bit in thought, the group though became upset at this as most of the Crystal Prep friends walked in as Wolf asked “Did we miss anything?” Wolf asked as the group was going to speak as Fang stopped them by speaking “Nothing really important just finding out what kind of party it is.” Fang said as he had a small smile on that made the group confused, when Pinkie reactivated herself and spoke “Well, anyway it's Fang`s welcome to CHS party come on in guys!” Pinkie exclaimed as she invited the rest of the friends in as she saw that Rapid was missing and asked “Where is Rapid?” Pinkie asked as Sugarcoat spoke up “He said he could not come because of homework, we texted him to come but he said he could not he has been upset lately and we don't know why.” Sugarcoat explained.
The group understood as Fang was looking around the room a bit as some memories played in his head ‘It's kind of like our parties all over again.’ Fang said in his head with a small smile as a few tears escaped his eyes as he quickly wiped them away, he then spoke in his head again ‘I need to leave those thoughts in the past….. but I can't, they will always be my past…..’ Fang continued to speak in his head as he lowered his head in thought until someone placed their hand on his shoulder as he turned to see Indigo with a look of concern as he waved it off and said “I was just thinking that is all.” Fang said with a false smile as Indigo nodded but knew something was up as she walked over to one of the snack tables as Vinyl began to play some music.
Time Skip: Two And A Half Hours Later…
The party was in full swing as the friends were having fun playing games, telling jokes eating snacks and just having a great time including Fang he was actually having fun at a party all until a certain song began to play “Alright everyone this next song was a wide request by the group, this one is called ‘Glad you came’.” Vinyl said in the mic as Fang`s mind began to shut down as he began to slowly walk backwards towards the door. The song began to play as all of his memories began to play on fast forward as tears began to escape his eyes as he then ran out the door and around the corner, he then leaned against the wall outside of the store as he tried to wipe the tears away “Why did they have to play that song?” Fang asked himself, he continued to wipe the tears away and sat down on the ground as the door opened to have Indigo walked out, “Fang are you okay?” Indigo asked Fang shook his head as he looked out at the street as Indigo asked “Do you want to talk about it?” Indigo asked Fang as he shook his head again. Indigo walked up to Fang and sat right next to him and brought him into a hug trying to cheer him up as he slowly gave Indigo a hug as well as it slowly began to rain when a car then drove up to the place. When the car stopped out came was Rapid as he saw the two sitting next to the wall as he then looked into the window and saw that there was Sugarcoat and the friends, Fang and Indigo looked up and saw that Rapid was hurt but Fang saw more in his eyes and he did not like it all.
Rapid then got back into his car and drove off before Fang and Indigo could get up as the group was looking outside the window, Fang and Indigo got back up and ran back inside the cafe as Sugarcoat had a hurt expression on her face as she spoke “I knew I should have not come to the party, now he hates me for it.” Sugarcoat said as she tried to stop a sniffle as a few tears began to build. Fang knew what was going to happen as he got a text from Rapid ‘Fang, i'm going home to clear my head do not come for me, i'm locking my door.’ The text read as he then turned to Soul and said “Soul I need your keys to your bike.” Fang said simply as Soul began to refuse “Look man I just got it fixed and everything and I dont tr-” Soul was cut off as Fang grabbed him by the throat and pushed him to a wall and spoke “Cut the shit Soul, I need that motorcycle to save our friend now give me the damn keys!” Fang yelled at soul as he nodded in his grip as he soon pulled his keys out of his pocket and handed them to Fang as he soon let Soul out of his grip and texted Rapid back. Rapid soon texted back stating ‘Fang don't even try stopping me, tell everyone…. I am sorry’ what he was going to do as Fang put the pedal to the metal on this one as he then commanded Sugarcoat “Sugarcoat I want you to get to the bike on the double and everyone…. i'm sorry for you all to see that, I need to control my anger.” Fang said in a low tone as he ran out of the door and got onto Soul's motorcycle as Sugarcoat got on as well as Fang handed her a helmet as he put one on as well and said “Hang on!” Fang commanded as the two sped of towards Rapids house.
Inside Rapid`s house he was walking back and forth in his room as he soon stopped and began to write a note on his desk for everyone as he soon turned towards his closet and grabbed the chair at his desk and dragged it inside with him as he began to tie the rope above him as he thought for a few seconds but soon put the noose around his neck and had a single tear escape his eye as he then knocks the chair from under him. Meanwhile Fang and Sugarcoat drove up to his house as Fang then ran up to the door and found it locked, he then backed up a bit and soon rammed into the door breaking it open and the two stormed the house. Fang ran into Rapids room and found him in the closet hanging from the noose as Fang then grabbed the knife from his bag and through it at the rope cutting it as Rapid fell onto the ground, Fang lifted him up a bit and checked his pulse as he found that his heart was still beating but a slow pace and was slightly breathing. Fang then picked up Rapid and brought him down stairs as he grabbed Rapid’s car keys and began to walk out of the house Rapids parents walked up and gasped as they saw Fang carrying Rapid out in a fireman's carry as they then began to ask questions “What happened here?” Mrs. Shadow asked as the father looked at Fang dead in the eye and said “Did you do this boy? Because if you did I swear I wi-” Mr. Shadow was interrupted by Fang as he spoke “Your son tried hanging himself.” Fang said bluntly as he walked out and towards Rapid`s car as the parents were dumbfounded as Fang spoke again “We need to hurry to the hospital as soon as we can.” Fang stated as Sugarcoat joined Fang and Rapid in the car as he then drove off.
Fang was driving down the street as Sugarcoat asked him “Fang…. what just happened?” Sugarcoat asked as Fang sighed and spoke in a soft tone “He could not take it anymore Sugarcoat…. he tried to do what I did.” Fang said in a soft, kind tone as Sugarcoat was worried and asked “Do you think he will be okay?” Sugarcoat asked Fang as he spoke in the same tone “Well the good news he is still breathing, so I know for a fact he will be okay.” Fang said trying to calm Sugarcoat`s mind as she nodded but Fang knew she was still very worried for Rapid.
Time Skip: Two Days Later….
Rapid began to stir in the hospital bed as the group noticed this as he then finally cracked his eyes open to see everyone and his parents as he finally spoke “H-Hey… guys… what's going on?” Rapid asked weakly as someone in the group was about to speak until Mise started yelling at Rapid “Are you out of your mind man!? I mean seriously what in the name of the 10 levels of hell is wrong with you!” Mise yelled at Rapid as he tried to back up a bit in the bed as Mise then grabbed his collar and started to shaking and hitting his head on the bed while shouting “I mean really, you think ending your life is the best choice you have? Well it is not and as well I have seen so much in my life and could have died many times in my life and another thing…” Mise kept yelling at Rapid as he was still shaking him as Artemis grabbed Mise and began to pry him off of Rapid, Mise was hitting Artemis in the chest and in the face a bit trying to get him to loosen the grip so he could escape but Artemis soon grabbed Mise by under the arms and dragged him out of the room. Fang looked at the two and shook his head and turned to Rapid and said “That was a stupid thing you done Rapid, and I should know i've been in the hospital as well from the same kind of attempt but it left me with this.” Fang said as he lowered the neck part of his jacket revealing his scar to Rapid as he walked towards the door and said “I'm going to go stop the two from killing each other.” Fang said and with that he walked out as Rapid turned to the group and asked “Um could you all please leave…. but not Sugarcoat.” Rapid asked as they all nodded as they then left out of the room soon only leaving Rapid and Sugarcoat. The room grew silent as Sugarcoat soon broke the silence as she walked towards Rapid and slapped him hard as Rapid said “I deserved that.” Rapid said as he placed his hand over the mark as Sugarcoat asked “Why… why did you do it?” Sugarcoat asked Rapid as she had tears in her eyes.
Rapid let out a sigh and spoke in a low tone “I…. just could not take the pressure anymore and my past was catching up to me.” Rapid said as Sugarcoat soon then grabs Rapid into a hug as he begins to calm her down, when then the group come into the room to find him calming down Sugarcoat as Fang asked “You’re, almost cleared for release dude, the doctors just need your signature and you can leave man.” Fang said to Rapid as he nodded as he then turned to Sugarcoat and tried to whisper to her “Sugarcoat, would you want to go on a date with me?” Rapid whispered to Sugarcoat soon nodded happily as she latched onto him with a hug but Rarity heard them and squealed with happiness “Oh you two are going on a date, oh I can help on your date.” Rarity said as both Sugarcoat and Rapid were blushing like mad as Mise soon popped her bubble and said “Remember the last time you did that?” Mise asked Rarity as she soon remembered what has happened with her involvement with other dates as she soon chuckled nervously. The group snickered a bit as they began to leave as Rapid soon spoke up “Hey Fang could you stay for a minute?” Rapid asked as Fang nodded and walked back to the two as Rapid asked “Can you help keep Rarity and the rest out of our date? Mostly Rarity.” Rapid asked as Fang`s expression changed into one with a small smile and nodded as he soon left the room leaving Rapid and Sugarcoat in each others company.
Time Skip: The Next Day….
Fang was waiting for both Rapid and Sugarcoat in front of the library as they soon came up to the library in their uniforms as Fang got up from the wall as he greeted the two as Sugarcoat asked “Why is Fang here?” Sugarcoat asked Rapid as he explained “The reason I asked Fang to be here is that Rarity and the others do not interfere with our date…. mostly Rarity.” Rapid said to Sugarcoat as Fang nodded and walked up the steps to the library and opened the door. Rapid and Sugarcoat enter the library as Fang enters he then peeks outside and looks left and right as he then slowly enters the library shutting the door behind him. Unknown to the three Rarity was outside with a group of hooded figures as one spoke “Rarity in this mission you will observe but you must not interfere in this, do you understand?” One of the figures asked as Rarity nodded but in her head she knew she would not listen to the high council, as the group soon then entered the library.
“Why the hell is the chapter done with?” Fang asked Rapid as he spoke.
“That is because this is what they call a chapter break, the next part will be coming up soon.” Rapid said to Fang as he nodded.
“So let me guess, crazy stuff happens, me defending your guys date, and you telling of the past?” Fang asked Rapid as he nodded and spoke.
“That is correct, but we kept the audience here too long.” Rapid said as Fang agreed.
“True, well we will see you all in the next chapter folks.” Fang said as the two waved goodbye.
