//------------------------------// // Chapter 13 // Story: A Displaced Spectrobes Master // by The Dark Brony //------------------------------// As Jack and Jen arrived at the mountain, Jen decided to sit down out of exhaustion. “I officially hate walking…” Jen wheezed. “Well, seeing as you've already invoked Murphy’s Law, things are bound to get worse,” moaned Jack. “I hate it when I do that…” Jen said, facepalming over her screw up. “Relax… if something was going to happen, it would have by now,” admitted Jack. No sooner had he finished his sentence than a swirling rift appeared above both of their heads. With a sound like the enraged honking of a goose, something flew from the portal, landing smack dab on Jack’s face with enough force to tackle him to the ground. With a cry of surprise, Jack pushed the object that hit him off of him, before he said, “When did I call Komainu?” “Komainu? Ooh. Sound like waifu material.” The voice was high pitched and erratic. “What the?” Jack then looked beside him to see a creature unlike any he’d encountered before. It was small and quadrupedal and covered in white fur, like a little dog. It had large white ears on either side of its head… and then another set of catlike ears poking up from its gray head of hair. Its face consisted of two black dots and a catlike mouth; it basically epitomized the word “derp.” If derp was even a real word, that is. “Hoi!” the little thing said, grinning like a college student on payday. “I’m Temmie!” Jack looked to Jen before saying, “Wasn’t Temmie that thing from that game? What was it called, Undertale?” “Undertale? Temmie no heard of said game,” Temmie replied. “Temmie… one of a kind!” “I have no clue but I think she’s a Displaced,” Jen said to Jack as she resisted the urge to giggle at the small creature's antics. “Well then, being that there are Krawl around, I think you should look after it until we know everything’s safe,” said Jack. “Crawl? Temmie know how to crawl!” Temmie cried, her voice filled with excitement. “Temmie crawl really well! Temmie show you!” The odd little thing proceeded to crouch low to the rocky ground, before crawling away, straight up one of the mountain’s cliffs. The mountain’s vertical cliffs... “Okay… I am not keeping an eye on that thing,” Jen said as she got back up. “It’s either that or you having to fight the Krawl. Besides, it’s too, well, weak to fight them,” argued Jack. “Fine…” Jen sighed, giving in to Jack’s request. She gave a second glance at Temmie, who had now managed to scale at least half the cliff. “But how am I supposed to keep up with her?” “I’m sure you’ll figure something out,” joked Jack. Jen just shook her head before calling out to Temmie. “Hey, can you get back down here? We’re on a mission and leaving you alone isn't safe!” Temmie stopped crawling up the mountain. Instead, she tucked her legs into her stomach and rolled down the slope like an armadillo, slowing to a stop at Jen’s foot. Temmie’s head popped out of her curled-up body. “Aww. Tem knew you cared.” “You know, you’re actually pretty cute,” Jen giggled as she picked up Temmie. “You too! Humans… too cute! Tem pet.” Tem’s foreleg stretched out like taffy, reaching up to stroke Jen’s head. Jen’s eye twitched. “I don't know how you're doing that, but I’ll just go with it and not try and comprehend it,” she said while trying to keep her mind from crashing. Suddenly, Tem’s head swerved sharply, glancing off further into the mountains. “Tem smell… actions! Tem watch!” Temmie cried. With a few wiggles, she squirmed out of Jen’s grip, before scampering away, making motorcycle noises as she went. “Wait! Come back!” Jen shouted before running after Temmie. Jack then sighed, before muttering, “This can only end in disaster,” as he followed the duo. Temmie whirred on through the rocky terrain, sounding for all the world like a Mad Max movie. She let her nose guide her like a bloodhound, zipping through the valleys and peaks. Jen and Jack were hard pressed to keep up with her, especially given their space suits and the moon’s stronger gravity. “Wait, back up a moment,” Temmie said, making a noise like searing rubber as she skidded to a stop. “Moon? Stronger gravity?” “Huff… huff… yeah,” Jack panted as Jen and him finally managed to catch up to the little monster. “We’re- huff- on the moon. Its gravity is far greater than any regular planet, which is why we need these special suits.” “Huh. Temmie just thought Tem was back in cheese dimension.” “I’m… Huff… Not even… Huff… Going to ask…” Jen panted before collapsing onto her back. As she impacted the ground, spiderweb-like cracks began to spread through the ground, all around the trio, with a sound like crumbling rock. “Jen! Freeze!” Jack cried. “The ground here is unstable! The slightest movement could lead to our dooms!” “No,” Temmie said. “This where actions is, and Tem have fresh popcorn!” With that, Temmie proceeded to leap into the air and land with a crunch on the ground. This was the Tem that broke the camel's back; the ground gave way below them, Jen, Jack, and Temmie falling away into the dark world beneath the mountain. A single sigh echoed up from the hole, followed by a frustrated scream. “God dammit Temmie!” Jack and Jen yelled in unison. It was dark, and the ground was damp against Jack’s face. He ached all over, but it was, at least, proof that he was alive. However, as he attempted to move around, he felt a weight upon him. “Mpph!” he groaned, trying to shake it off. “Wha- oh! Sorry Jack,” Jen said, prying herself up from the ground and off of Jack. Jack gave a nod of gratitude before getting up himself. “Don’t worry about it,” replied Jack, as he looked around. Given the arching roof, the hole above them being the only light source, and the plentiful stalactites and stalagmites, they appeared to be in a cave- although, it wasn’t a normal cave. No, this was a cave on the moon: it was a Space Cave! Jack gave a small chuckle, before saying, “Now where is Temmie?” Just as he said it, the little creature came into view, drifting slowly into the cave as she held tight to a large, black umbrella. Jack and Jen glanced at Temmie, then at each other, then back at Temmie. “Yaya! Let’s do it again!” the monster cheered. “NO. We are not doing that again,” Jen said, before wincing and grabbing her side. “Aww,” Tem whined, giving Jen a look of sympathy as she stuffed the umbrella back into her messy grey hair. “Are yous hurt?” “It’s… Fine…” Jen said, staggering to her feet. “Oh. OK!” Temmie said with glee, her face resuming its usual carefree expression. “Well, Temmie said that action was down here,” Jack said. “Now we just need to find out where.” He took another glance around, his expression becoming less and less enthused as he saw how the interior of the cave got darker and darker the farther away they went from the hole in the roof. It seemed that their overhead light was the only bright spot in the cavern. “How’re we going to see, though.” “Tem has an answer!” Temmie cried. Temmie vibrated intensely for a few seconds before she suddenly lit up with a blue glow. “Follow Tem!” she said, dashing off into the cave, lighting the way as she went. “Slow down!” Jen shouted as she walked after Temmie, still clutching her side. Jack followed closely after. “What is Temmie, some sort of Minion?” asked Jack “Paint her yellow and put some overalls on her and then maybe,” Jen chuckled. Temmie froze in her tracks. Slowly, her head rotated 180 degrees like an owl, glaring at Jack and Jen. “Overalls?” she whispered, her eyes flashing red. “Overalls… not cute.” “Minions are cute and they wear overalls,” Jen said, backing away from Temmie nervously. “Overalls… farm-wear. Farmers… muscley. Muscles are not cute!” “Ok, ok! Calm down!” Jen said, starting to get creeped out. “OK!” Temmie said, her tail wagging as she returned to her smiling self. She continued onwards, sniffing the air, searching for action. “Well… that’s a strange reaction,” admitted Jack. The cave shook suddenly, chunks of stalactites raining from above, as things began to stir in the shadows. “Well this can’t be good,” Jack said as he reached for his sword. Jen cried out suddenly as she doubled over, clutching her head. Jack instantly ran over to her, before he shouted, “Jen, are you okay?!” “I'm fine! Just make them stop screaming!” Jen shouted. As soon as she said that, Krawl began to emerge from the shadows, surrounding the three of them. Jack slowly turned around, summoning Samurite and Leo. The Krawl didn't even flinch as they surrounded Jen and Temmie in the shape of a triangle. Jack sighed, before he said, “It’s a shame this place is weakened as much as it is; otherwise I could use Vilakroma, but I don’t want to cause a cave-in.” Jen then cried out again, before fainting. The majority of the Krawl turned their attention to Jack and moved to get between Jen and him as the others began to swarm her. Jack spun back around, shouting, “Leo! Keep them safe!” Seconds later, Leo jumped in front of Jen and Temmie, bearing his teeth towards the oncoming army of Krawl. Jack looked back towards the group in front of him, before saying, “Samurite… let's do this.” They both charged towards the approaching Krawl. Samurite began slicing through a small group of Krawl. He was pounded by multiple tendrils from some of the surrounding Krawl, before the group surrounding him disappeared and turned into purple smoke. Just as the Krawl were eliminated, Samurite collapsed onto the ground, forcing Jack to recall him. Jack looked back towards Leo to see him holding his own, better than Samurite did. Better try him out, Jack thought as his Rygazelle appeared next to him. Jack shouted, “Ryan, Thunder Dash,” within seconds the Spectrobe was surrounded by what looked to be a water coating that sparkled as bright white sparks flew across his body before he charged forwards into the Krawl. A massive electrical charge flew between each of the Krawl in the group, before they exploded into purple smoke, leaving the immediate area clear of any hostiles. Temmie turned her little head towards Jen’s unconscious body, looking confused. “Human,” she said, her voice, inquisitive. “Human. Get up.” In the background, Ryan clawed through a horde Krawl, lighting shooting off in all directions. “Human. Now not bedtime,” Temmie said, giving Jen a poke. Her head stirred a little, then dropped back to the ground. “Sleeping on floor… not good. May need to consult chiropractitioner.” In the background, a larger Krawl wrapped its tendrils around Ryan, holding it tight as it thrashed to escape. “Fine then. Don’t blame Tem when human wakes up with moderate to severe back pain.” In the background, Ryan broke free, before charging through the enormous Krawl, electricity blasting the alien into cinders and smoke. A stray lightning bolt flew over Temmie’s head. Temmie ignored it, choosing instead to curl up next to Jen and take a nap. “Dammit!” shouted Jack as one of the tendrils collided with his body, sending him tumbling towards Jen and Temmie before both Leo and Ryan appeared in front of them, protectively. They both began to glow in a white light. Jack smiled, and proceeded to pick up both Jen and Temmie as he ran towards the opening that Ryan made, before he screamed, “Leo, Ryan, go for it!” With that, the area was surrounded by a green light as a large tornado appeared in the middle of the room, sucking the remaining Krawl towards it. The tornado soon became purple, filled with the smoky remains of the Krawl. Seconds later the tornado dissipated, leaving the room clear. A trapdoor opened on the floor in the middle of the room. Jack then turned to Temmie, before he calmly said, “Look after Jen till I get back… I need to check this out.” Temmie gave a salute, and some trumpets played in the background. Crashes and bangs echoed through the cavern, a twenty-one gun salute. The sound of fighter jets screamed by, soaring through the air. The earth rumbled with the force of explosions. A woman cried out for her children. Screams of pain sounded across the rock, along with the hail of bulletfire. A chorus sang, “God Bless America.” Jack then stared at Temmie in disbelief before he slowly walked towards the centre of the room holding his left hand in a fist, vertically in the air. As he reached the staircase, he could see that it was a large spiral staircase that appeared to be made of some sort of carved white stone… almost like it was some type of tomb. Jack took a deep breath before he lowered his hand and cautiously began to walk down the long winding staircase, into the unknown. As Jack reached the bottom of the stairs, he looked around to see what appeared to be an open room apart from a large black door that appeared to have an intricate design that flowed out from near the middle, where there was a symbol that looked like a six-pointed star on some sort of disk, a small green circular gem being the only other coloured symbol in room. As Jack got closer to the door, he placed a hand on it, before slowly pushing it away from him as a loud creaking noise echoed throughout the room. As he slowly crept into the next room, he realised that it was pitch black, before a multitude of torches lit up around the room, glowing with bright green flames. Jack looked towards the centre of the room to see a large multicoloured Krawl looming threateningly before him. It had a green body with shards of rubble sticking out of it, two blue legs on its right and two more green ones on its left, and carried what appeared to be a light column from the side of a temple in the large yellow arm that stuck out from its body. Flanking the hulking beast were two smaller ones. They appeared to lack legs entirely, instead being shaped like a slug that had a few bad rumbles in the fight pit. It was brown, flecked with spots of green, and a few knobby features stood out from its head. Seconds later, Windora and Ryan appeared by Jack’s side before Windora launched two tornados towards one of the slug-like creatures. One vortex lifted the Krawl up into the air using one whilst Ryan used the second to propel itself towards the Krawl and speared it with his blade, before landing on the ground and charging towards the second slug before proceeding to spear it using the blade on the opposite side of his body, before both of the slugs remains exploded into purple smoke. Jack turned towards the large Spectrobe just in time to notice that it was preparing to swing the column down to strike him.If that hits me I’m as good as dead, he thought. Seconds later, the Krawl faltered as Jack noticed that Ryan had smashed into its side. As the Krawl turned to strike him, Windora rammed him from the other direction. The Krawl turned around again, switching targets between the two Spectrobes and, in turn, ignoring Jack. This continued for a minute until both Windora and Ryan began to glow. Jack smiled, before electricity began sparking around the room. A massive bolt of lightning struck the Krawl and it exploded into a purple mist. Seconds later, the ground began to shake once again, before a small white pedestal rose from the ground and a small door opened on the other side of the room. Once Jack got closer to the pedestal, he could see an object that appeared to look like the symbol that was on the door. Jack slowly reached his hand towards the object. Carefully, he lifted it from the pedestal, which slowly disappeared back into the floor where it had come from before. Jack turned back around before slowly walking back out the room and up the stairs. There was a loud hissing sound as the shadows around Jen and Temmie began to stir again. The Krawl were regrouping and preparing for an attack. “Uh oh,” Temmie muttered, glancing at the Krawl as they slowly spread out, encircling the two. She turned back to her companion. “Human! Wake, wake! Pink squishies attempting counteroffensive.” “Errgh… huh?” Jen murmured. “Counteroffensive! Return fire! Mirror coat! Send more waifus at them!” Temmie screamed. Jen blinked a few times as she started to wake up. “Wha… What’s going on?” she said before noticing they were surrounded. “Oh no…” “Waifus!” Temmie ordered. “You have waifus, right? Everything has waifus. Call upon the power! Vanquish squishy evil!” “Waifu’s? You mean my… S-spectrobes?” Jen asked a tinge of fear in her voice. “What’s the difference?” Temmie cried. “No time for questionings! Why you questionings?” “I… Nevermind…” Jen said, before shakily getting to her feet and activating her Prizmod. “Tank, Grilden, I need your help… Please?” Seconds later both Tank and Grilden appeared beside her, looking around in confusion before spotting Jen. Instead of attacking the Krawl, Tank loomed forwards and lowered his horn towards her, looking as if it was going to charge her. “No!” Jen screamed as she backed away from Tank. She tripped over a loose stone or Temmie Flake and fell over backwards. However before Tank could charge, Grilden quickly uses her tail to knock Tank off-balance before turning back around and firing off three large balls of energy into the group of oncoming Krawl. “T-thank you…” Jen whimpered as she looked at Grilden. Grilden nodded one of its heads towards her before looking back towards the Krawl. Both heads fired what appeared to be blades of air towards the Krawl that began to slice them in half. Meanwhile, Tank returned to his feet and shot a glare towards Jen, before charging towards the Krawl and smashing into them with its horn. Temmie raised her head. Her right ear twitched. A single strand of hair poked up. She sneezed. “Human,” she barked, tapping Jen. “Tem hear sound like beating heart.” “Huh? what are you talking about?” Jen asked, glancing away from the battle, where Tank was wrestling with a large Krawl, each fighting to knock the other over. Temmie sneezed again. A few puffs of smoke poured out of her mouth. “Wait,” she murmured. “Beating stopped.” “I still have no clue what you're going on about…” Jen sighed before a Krawl jumped towards them. Jen, on a split-second decision, kicked Temmie away from where the Krawl was going to land before jumping in the opposite direction. Temmie bounced a couple times like a rubber ball, before rolling to a stop against a rock. In the middle of the room, the earth exploded upwards. Tank was sent flying while the Krawl slammed against the rock wall. A slab of wood, the remains of a trapdoor, clattered to the ground. “What was that!?” Jen said, distracted by the unknown explosion. Seconds later, a small green creature appeared from the trapdoor, before it launched a tornado towards the oncoming Krawl, launching it into the air. The familiar image of Jack appeared from the hole in the ground, riding on a blue Spectrobe with his sword raised above his head. “Oh…” Jen said smartly as she stared at the odd sight. Suddenly, she felt herself being grabbed from behind. She tried to call out, but something smothered her mouth. “Mph!” Jack, glancing in the right direction, caught sight of Jen being dragged off. “No! Ryan, quickly!” he shouted before the Spectrobe ran towards Jen. Jack reached down quickly grabbed hold of Temmie as he passed her lying on the ground. “Human?” Temmie asked, glancing up at Jack. “Where you come from? Where we going?” “From the hole, and something's dragging Jen away… we’re going after her… I refuse to lose her,” explained Jack. There was then a loud roar as something fell from the ceiling and landed on Rygazelle, allowing the Krawl that had grabbed Jen to scurry away. Jack quickly leapt from his Spectrobe and rolled away from the object, holding Temmie near his chest. He called Ryan back at the sight of a familiar looking Krawl... It was a tall, vaguely humanoid creature. Its arms and joints stuck out at sharp angles, making it look like chiseled rock or splintered wood, and it was black with red streaks covering its body. It had an arm made of some kind of stone rubble. “Dammit, not this guy… what was his name, Gigagorga? What were his attributes?” muttered Jack. Gigagorga then roared as he jumped towards jack, swinging his stone arm in front of him to try and land a hit. Jack then quickly rolled to the side still holding Temmie. He placed her on the floor before he shouted, “Temmie get out of here!” “Defeat that… whatever it is,” Temmie said, her parting words as she turned and burrowed into the rock, digging away like a mole. Jack, nodded before shouting, “Try to find where they took Jen.” He turned to look back towards Gigagorga. Gigagorga used the momentary distraction of the conversation to run towards Jack, and just as the Spectrobe Master turned back towards him he began to spin rapidly in an attempt to smash the tiny human. Jack flinched back in shock as the Krawl’s fist got closer and closer to striking him and ending his life; however, seconds before his fist collided, Windora charged in front of the strike taking the full force of the blow to protect Jack as it was launched backwards into a nearby wall, before collapsing into a heap. Jack quickly recalled Windora, before muttering, “Just three Spectrobes left.” He looked up as Leo and Pinorska appeared, flanking him. Gigagorga raised its stone arm to strike at Leo and Pinorska but was tackled to the ground before he could attack by Tank and Grilden. Jack looked toward Tank and Grilden and nodded, before he said, “All four of you buy as much time as possible,” to which each of them nodded. Gigagorga flung Tank and Grilden off of him before charging at Jack. Jack glared towards Gigagorga as Pinorska swung its tail towards the gargantuan Krawl, causing it to stumble. Leo charged towards it, spinning its body like a drill before colliding with the Krawl, sending it stumbling backwards. Gigagorga roared after it regained its balance and spun into Leo, flinging him to the other side of the cavern. He then turned towards Tank and smashed his stone arm down on him, hitting the spectrobe with mortal damage, making it return to its prizmod. Jack then looked towards the spot Tank had occupied only seconds ago, before turning to Leo to see him limping back towards him before collapsing to the ground in pain. Jack quickly recalled him, before he muttered, “Just Vilakroma, Pinorska and Grilden left…. this is bad. We could cause a cave-in at this rate.” Gigagorga’s stone arm shattered, raining bits of rock on his surroundings. Grilden had done his own spin attack on Gigagorga and ended up destroying the stone arm, but in the process he ended up getting backhanded by the Krawl crashing into some stalagmites, causing him to have taken too much damage and return automatically to his prizmod. Gigagorga roared a third time out of pure rage and jumped at Jack, preparing to bring his remaining arm down on the human’s head. Jack looked to his side to see a faint glow in his pocket. He remembered the object he’d picked up, hidden on that pedestal underground. As he grabbed it, the glow intensified, before a strange creature appeared above him. It looked like a strange cross between a squid and a hydra appeared above him and shone almost las if it was made of gold. It had what appeared to be black and green light going along the side of each of its ten heads. Seconds later, what appeared to be green light appeared near each of its heads. The glow slowly began to grow in intensity by the second before all of the beams fused into one enormous beam of energy that flew towards Gigagorga at high speed before colliding with it. https://youtu.be/-LVqAqXLb_I?t=45s (please watch from 0:45 to 0:56 for full animation) Gigagorga screeched as he was smashed into the wall by the beam. He was now partially embedded in the rock and unable to pull himself free as he flailed. Jack glared at Gigagorga before Vilakroma appeared behind him and he shouted, “Vilakroma, end this!” Seconds later, Vilakroma lined up his cannon with the immobilized Krawl before he fired off multiple bursts of energy towards Gigagorga, raining attacks on the enormous creature until it exploded into purple mist. As the mist disappeared, the cavern began rumbling and shaking as stalactites started falling from the roof. There was then a clinking sound as something landed next to Jack’s foot. Jack looked down to see the familiar image of Jen’s Prizmod resting against his foot. As he reached down and grabbed it, one of the stalactites came down upon him. Jack froze at the sight of the enormous rock crashing down towards him, fear surging through his veins. Pinorska slammed into him, pushing him under Vilakroma before the Spectrobe was crushed by the falling stalactite and returned to Jack’s Prizmod. “Human!” Jack turned, and among the falling rocks and clouds of dust, he spotted a familiar little monster. “Temmie?” Jack asked. The creature in question raced towards him, stalactites still crashing all around the cavern. “Human! Pick Temmie up!” Temmie ordered. “What? Why?” Jack gaped, stupefied at Temmie’s odd request. “How is that supposed to solve anything?” “Temmie is invincible!” Tem cried, a wide smile coming to her face. “Stalactites ignore Tem. If Tem held above you, you no get skewered!” Jack spent a second or so just staring at the furry little thing. This was insane, she had to be insane. “I don’t think-” “Pick. Up. Tem!” Temmie screeched, the force of her voice legitimately sending Jack stumbling. The ground gave another rumble, and Jack fell over. As he tried to lift himself up, another boulder nearly crushed him, before being blasted by Vilakroma. The room was almost completely covered in dust, and falling rocks knitted together made the terrain nearly unnavigable. Jack gave a sigh, before recalling Vilakroma, grabbing Temmie, and rushing towards the bright spot that was the exit. All around them, more stalactites crashed into the ground, sending shards of rock flying. The floor wobbled, shaking as if it were a faultline as Jack sprinted by, stumbling over large stones and crags. A stalactite landed right next to him, creating a sound so thunderous that his ears rang like church bells. Another landed about ten meters in front of him, forcing him to stop quickly and work his way around it. Jack had almost fought his way to the exit when a sharp crack echoed through the room. He skidded to a stop and glanced towards the room’s center. His eyes widened as he saw the ground all but collapsing in on itself, cracks snaking out through the ground before it gave way and broke apart, chunks of earth falling into a widening sinkhole. “Flee! Sprint! Escape! Abscond! RUN!” Jack took Temmie’s advice and dashed away, sprinting as fast as his legs would carry him. His lungs burned for breath and his thighs felt as if they were slowly coming apart, but every time he glanced backwards, the collapsing ground had only gotten closer. He gave it another push, another shot of adrenaline, and soon they had reached the cave where the three of them had originally fallen down. A spotlight still poured in from the ceiling, where a small hole meant their only chance at escape. Temmie reached her little leg upwards, and it stretched out, extending up towards the light. Jack didn’t even question how Temmie’s leg extended like rubber; he just stood there, trembling as he heard the sounds of collapsing rock get ever closer. “Temmie,” he said, worry infused in his voice. “Hurry it up.” “Tem’s trying,” Temmie responded. “Temmie!” Jack cried as the tunnel they’d just came from gave way, and the cavern they were currently in rumbled and shook. “Almost there,” Temmie responded. “TEMMIE!” Jack screamed as cracks snaked under his feet and he could feel the ground below begin to give in. “Just a few more seconds!” Jack shut his eyes, waiting to feel nothing but air beneath him… The feeling didn’t come. Jack opened his eyes. The sinkhole had stopped centimeters from his feet, a few slabs of rock all that separated him from a drop into endless darkness. “Wha-” “Got it!” Temmie’s extending leg grabbed the ledge far above their heads, and slowly began to retract, pulling Temmie up with it. Jack clung to the little monster for dear life as he gradually began rising out of the cave. As soon as his feet left the ground, the floor beneath gave way, and the entire cavern collapsed. Tem pulled herself over the lip of the hole, dragging herself onto solid ground. Jack followed soon after; he stood for a moment, then wobbled and flopped over, embracing the sturdy mountainside. After a few seconds, he turned and glanced at Temmie. “...What the hell was that? The ground literally stopped collapsing until we could escape.” Temmie looked pensive for a few seconds, a foreleg on her chin. “Tem will document phenomenon for good of science,” she said. “And Tem will call it… PLOT ARMOR.” Before Jack could give a proper response, a random wormhole appeared next to Temmie and she was dragged into it by a cane. “Bye human. Your befuddlement was amusing,” she managed to say before the portal closed behind her. Jack then lowered his head before looking at Jen’s prizmod that he still held in his hand before muttering “I’m a failure… I couldn’t protect you.” He then looked forwards to see the ship in the distance before slowly walking towards it with both of his hands in his pockets. Once he reached the ship he slowly walked into it before he made his way towards cockpit before sitting down in his seat before resting his head in his lap before looking at his Prizmod and whispered “I’m no hero… I can’t even protect the woman I love never mind the innocent people in the universe.” Suddenly Jack’s communicator turned on. “Jack? Jack! whats going on! ...” Sweetie Drops said as her face appeared on the holoscreen.
