chapter 5

Silver practically stomped to her room, Blade struggling to keep up.

"Wait up!" He called, "I'm not used to hooves yet!"

Silver opened the door to her room and walked to a mirror. With frustration in her voice, she said, "I knew you were stupid but I didn't think you would go this low!!"

"Es- Silver," Blade asked softly, "who are you talking to?"

"Answer me!!" Silver shouted.

"You really take the fun out of everything," Sombra deadpanned, "you know that?"

"Why did you bring him here?!" Silver yelled.

"You looked lonely," Sombra said while rolling his eyes, "now I take my goodbye."

Silver gritted her teeth. Oh how she hated him.

"Miss silver?," a guard asked through the door, "the princesses are worried about you."

"Thank you lutenant Gamer," she called back, "let them know I'll be down soon."

"Yes ma'am!"

Silver paced back and forth.

"Why would he be so stupid as to bring you here..." she said before stopping herself, "no offence."

"None taken"

Silver sighed, "Well, we better get heading back down there."

"For what?" Steel Sword said with a confused look on his face.

"You know, the Gala..."

"Oh god why was I brought here now?!" he said as he slumped, "my sisters watch that episode to much!"

Silver hid a giggle. "Come on, 'Steel Sword', let's go."

"Do I have to?" Steel asked with a pleading look in his eyes that said he wanted nothing to do with the gala.

"Yes, you have to," Silver said she headed for the door. She paused. "You know... you're going to need a tux if you're going down there." Steel gulped. Silver went and pushed a button by her bed. a few minutes later, a lavender, unicorn mare came to the room.

"You called?" the mare asked.

"Yes, I did, Twilia," Silver said. Twilia was her mare in waiting, "How soon do you think you could get my friend here a simple tux?"

"Not to long, ma'am!" Twilia said as she rushed to go and find something that might work. It wasn't long before she returned, "I managed to find this one, it's not the best I'm afraid, but it will do!"

Steel took the tux and went to put it on.

"You are dismissed for now, Twilia." Silver said.

"But miss, look! There is a tear in your gown!" Twilia said as she pointed towards the back of the dress, "I'll be right back with another one!"

"Thast's not neccessary!" Silver said but it was no use, Twilia was already out the door and was back before you could say chimmy cherry, chimmy changas.

"Here," Twilia said as she handed Silver a simple black dress, "quickly now! before you're friend is done changing!"

Silver sighed and changed into the dress; Twilia left soon after. She was re-fixing her hair when she heard some hoofsteps.

"Woah..." Steel said from the doorway, "You look... just... wow..."

"Much wow?" Silver teased.

He laughed, "Much, much wow."

"Why it seems you just might be falling for a pony," she teased again, "coming from the one who "hates" the show."

Steel's face turned a deep red, "Just shut up and lead the way..."

"Who in Equestria is he?!" a mare whispered to her friend, "he is simply the clumbsiest stallion I have ever seen!"

"Why on earth would would Luna's student even be anywhere near him!" the second mare said, "I simply cannot let something like this happen!" she said as she cantered over to the other side of the room. "General Hudson."

"Ah, Clover Leaf, how may I help you?" Hudson said before he took a sip of his drink.

"Who on earth is that stallion with Silver Wind?!" Clover demanded, "and WHY is he even here?! The gala is for sophisticated ponies and sophisticated ponies only. What is a rufian like him doing here?!"

Hudson paused. "Ma'am, I'm afriad I can do anything to help you."

"Then at least tell me who he is!" Clover, again, demanded.

"I'm afraid I can't, ma'am." Hudson said, turning to leave.

"What if I gave you the time of your life?" Clover said flirtatiously, batting her eyes, "would you be able to spare some information then?"

"I- uh- I..." Hudson was at a loss for words. Sure, mares did this all the time, but Clover was much more prettier than any other mare in his book.

"Excuse me," Wind said as she walked over, "But I need to borrow the General for a moment."

"Oh, well, fine." Clover pouted.

"Thanks," Hudson whispered to her as the walked off.

"Anytime."

"So who exactly is he?" Rainbow said the morning after the gala, "another random pony like you?"

"Rainbow Dash!" Rarity exclaimed, "rude!"

Silver tried to hold in a giggle. "Well, actually, Rainbow is right. Steel is a friend of mine from where I'm from. I still don't know how he got here though..." She looked in his direction. After the gala last night, he was bound and determined to get used to walking on four hooves. She giggled as he fell on his face for the sixth time.

"I know that look on your face, darling," Rarity said with a wink, "was something going on between you two back where you come from?"

Silver's face turned a deep shade of red. "He was kind of my crush..."

"Was?" Fluttershy asked.

"That was when we were humans," silver said as she looked in his direction, "now that we're here... I just don't know..."

Pinkie spoke up.

"I ship it."
