Chapter 15: A Missing Hero Part II

Three days. Three full days and still on this universe. Rainbow, Pinkie, and me were all right. We each took turns to get food from the village so the ponies in Ponyville won’t get suspicious from us. Today, I’m guessing it was Sunday in this universe, but I really hope that on my universe time stopped. Who knows if my mom is worried about my disappearance and also the parents of Pinkie and Rainbow, but there is no time for negative thoughts.
Today was my turn to get food in Ponyville and seeing my wounds have healed. I wave goodbye to the girls and went for a walk to Ponyville. The sun was beautiful and the birds were singing. It was a very peaceful day. I look at the sun, and by the looks of it, the time was noon if I was not mistaken.
I had a great idea and decided to explore in this universe. Of course, I was walking around while everypony was looking at me funny. They never saw a human walking around. I look to my left and saw apples for sale. If I am correct last week before this universe travel started, Applejack gave me one of her family apples and they were delicious. I really hope they’re the same.
I look up in the vendor and got shocked at who it was. And I was right. It was Applejack, and the way she looks was horrible. She seems depress in all sorts of ways. I hope she is okay.
“Um…Excuse me?” I said grabbing the attention of Applejack.
“Oh…Yeah…um sorry sir. What can I do for you?” Applejack said.
Weird, she didn’t get shocked that I was another human. Well is better to leave it that way.
“Um yes. I was wondering how much your apples are?” I ask looking at her juicy apples.
“Oh um…Three bits. But seeing that you're new in town, it’s on the house,” she said while covering the sadness inside her.
“Um excuse me. I know is not my business but are you okay?” I asked.
“Oh…heh…yeah I’m fine…don't worry about it,” she said while a tear escapes from her eyes.
That’s it. I know this Applejack is not from my universe, but it kind of hurts to see one my friend who is in pony form look so sad.
“Um hey…you want to talk about it? I mean I know we just met, but you reminded me of one of my friends back home and it really hurt me to see you like this.” I said giving her a warm smile.
“Oh…I’m sorry but…I don’t know…” she said.
“Hey, how about this. Wanna grabs something to drink and talk about it, my treat.” I asked, getting her shocked.
“I’m sorry mister, but I have a coltfriend already-“ Coltfriend…oh she means boyfriend.
“What…no, no, no. I meant to like a friend. Here let me introduce myself first. Name’s Lightning Bolt, it’s nice to meet you.” I said extending my arm for a friendly handshake.
“…” She didn’t respond but she extended her arm and greeted herself. “Applejack”
“Well is nice to see you, Applejack. Want to get a drink. Again my treat.” I ask one more time.
“Um sure…just let me get my brother to stay in charge of the apples…” she said while getting her brother.
If Rainbow was here right now, she probably punches me saying, “Dude, what are you doing? Are you mad?” Thinking about it made me giggle.
I look at Applejack, who was walking towards me and nodded that she was ready to go.
I lead her to the nearest store to get some drinks. Applejack and me was walking and I notice she was still depressed.
“So, you want to talk about it?” I ask getting her to look up.
“Um…well I guess…see yesterday mah friends and I were at Canterlot,” she started to explain, “and I saw my coltfriend who had disappeared for a few days. At first, I was happy that he was okay, but then he figure out that we were talking from his back. Mah friends and I lost his trust and we feel like we betrayed him.” she said while revealing some tears.
“Ah, I see. So what did you do that made him mad at you and your friends?” I asked. “I mean if you don’t mind me asking, I mean.”
“Um…well my friends and I were scared of him. Cause he saw his demon and we couldn’t trust him. We were scared of him,” she said without taking her eyes off the ground.
Oh, she must be talking about Daniel. I wonder if I can meet this Daniel guy. As I was walking with Applejack, I notice we arrived at the place. I look up to the sign of the store and the name of it was called ‘Sugar Cube Corner’. Huh, weird name.
“Well, here we are…” Applejack said.
I walk towards the door. I hold the doorknob and went inside. I notice that I saw all five girls in a table sulking and sad, even crying. Damn, they’re very hurt. I look at the vendor who I recognize as Mrs. Cake.
“Welcome, Sunny. How can I help you?” she said.
“Um yeah can I have a glass of water and a-” I was cut off by Applejack.
“Cider for me please,” she said.
“Honey, you know it's very early to drink that.” Mrs. Cake said with a worried look.
I know I shouldn’t do this but “Um. Get her a glass of soda I’ll pay the tab.” I said looking at my wallet and check if the leftover bits I have that Spike gave me. I Hope is still enough to buy food.
“Oh don’t worry, honey. Since your new, it’s on the house,” she said with a warm smile.
“Oh, thank you,” I said while looking at Applejack.
Man, by the look of her eyes, she hasn’t slept well. “I’m going to my friends. Come, I’ll introduce you to them,” she said while leading the way with her friends.
Applejack and me arrived at the table, and they notice us. Only Twilight waved at me. “Girls, let me introduce you to Bolt. Bolt this is Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle,” Applejack said while introducing me to her friends.
“So, where you come out from,” Rainbow said first.
“Rainbow!” Rarity scolds. “I am sorry my fellow, but we haven’t had a great day,” she said while I saw her mascara ruined.
“Um, it's no problem. Um, I heard of your girls’ incident.” I said taking a seat besides them.
“Oh, so you heard.” Pinkie answered, but she looks different. Her hair was straight down and not like puffed up like my Pinkie.
“I know is not my business, but seeing you girls like this really hurts me,” I said.
“Well bub, if you’re trying to pick a mare. Tough news, were taken,” again with Rainbow’s rudeness.
“Rainbow Dash! What is the matter with you? He’s just being friendly with us,” Rarity scolds again.
“I DON’T CARE. RIGHT NOW I’M VERY HURT BECAUSE OF WHAT JUST HAPPEN YESTERDAY. AND NOW THERE’S A BUCKING NEW HUMAN IN THE VILLAGE THAT THINKS THAT CAN HAVE US IN BED. BUT I’M NOT FUCKING BUYING IT BUB. EITHER GET OUT OF THIS STORE OR I’LL MAKE YOU GET OUT!” Wow this coming from Dash.
I saw tears coming out her eyes and felt bad for them. I really didn't want to make this worse. I wish I could have helped.
“RAINBOW!” All the girls said in the exact time.
“No is fine, don’t worry. I'll grab my drink and go,” I said grabbing my drink and exiting the store.

Wow. By the look of it, they were really hurt, but damn can Rainbow yell. I was walking to the nearest food market to see if I could pick out an ingredient to make dinner for the girls and me. I look at my side, and beside the market I saw a stage. I look up to the sun and had enough time to check it out.
I went towards what was going on and saw a pony doing a magic trick. But why does she look so-
“Now, the great and magical Trixie will make my apprentice disappear!” Ah, there it is. I knew it was her when I saw that goofy magic hat.
“Boo. Get off the stage. You suck!” a member of the audience screams.
“Now please be patience. I can make him dissape-“ she was cut off when a tomato hit her face and was getting shot at by tomatoes making her leave the stage.
I almost wanted to laugh, but then I remember the girls in Sugar Cube Corner. I really hate them being that way. I wish I could. And that time an idea pop into my head.
I look at the left side of the stage and saw a guitar and a microphone. Maybe I can make them not lose hope. I know deep inside Daniel Hearts can forgive them. But they don’t know it yet.
I went towards the stage and took a seat with the guitar. Getting all the ponies in Ponyville’s attention. Ah, great, I got an audience. I need to think fast.
I close my eyes and remember what my father always says to me when I was a kid. “Never lose hope.” I smiled and grab the microphone.
“Alright! Girls. I know you can hear me inside in Sugar Cube Corner, and I know you girls are still there. But listen. I know you girls are hurt and made a mistake by losing a dear friend and lover. But remember this. No one…I mean no pony makes a lock without a key. That’s why god won't give you problems without a solution. I hope you're hearing this!"
I notice ponies grabbing instruments behind me and they smiled at me, giving me a signal to go. I know I need to make this right and make them not lose hope.

Everypony applauds to the music I made. Then, I notice the girls in front of the stage looking at me.
“So you think he will ever forgive us,” Twilight said.
“I know he will.” I gave them a warm smile.
“Come with us!” Twilight said.
“Okay, purple unicorn. Say what now?” I said looking back with a shocked face.
“Well, we are very nervous to go again and I would like you to meet Celestia. Maybe she can send you home,” Twilight said revealing a smile.
Ah, great. Nice job, Bolt. But on the plus side, I can see if their princess can send the girls and me back. It’s a one-time shot. “Um, sure. But can my two friends come also,” I said.
“Sure, I’ll get ready. I just need time to write an apology letter,” she said running towards her tree house.
I sigh to myself while getting off the stage while I notice a rainbow mane mare walking towards me. I look at her with a confusing look, wondering what she needed?
“Look, I’m sorry. What I said earlier. I was just stressed out about yesterday, but looking at that performance, you were only trying to cheer us up and not losing hope. Hope we can be friends and you can forgive me,” she said looking down.
I smile “Don’t worry Dash. No need to apologize. The important thing is you need to work on your apology speech. Same goes for you girls. I know deep inside Daniel Heart will forgive you,” I said getting them smiling and getting Pinkie back her puffy hair.
“BOLT!” I hear two familiar voices that made me turn around and revealing my Pinkie and Rainbow disguised.
“Bolt, where were you. I thought you were getting food,” Rainbow said.
“I was, but change of plans. We might go home.” I said getting the two girls excited and jumping on to me.
“ALRIGHT!!! Way to go Bolt,” she said hugging me.
“YeahICan’tWaitToTellTwilightAboutOurAdventure!” this got the others girls look at her confuse. “Oops I mean Nightfright. Yeah Nightfright,” she giggles.
“Smooth Pinkie. You almost blew it,” I whisper in her ear getting her to smile.
“Um, hey listen. I would like to thank you again for giving me and my friends hope to get our friend’s trust again. If you go home, Pinkie would like to throw you a farewell party before you go. I mean, if it's cool for you” Rainbow Dash said.
“I look so cool!” said Rainbow, whispering in my ear.
“Um, sure. There's no problem at all,” I said smile while we all notice Twilight coming back.
“Okay everypony, gather up. Next stop, Canterlot. Oh, I hope I can get this teleporting magic right,” she said while trying to prepare to go.
“Wait what do you mean you ho-” It was too late. We already left and was headed to a place called Canterlot.
So the magic was a success. We were at Canterlot, but the problem was that I got separated from the group and got teleported somewhere else in the castle. I was unconscious for a second and later got my sight back. But the weird part was I felt I was getting wet. And by the look of it, it looks like I’m in a bathroom of some kind.
Oh dear god. If I turn around right now…please tell me there is no naked mare behind me. I turn around slowly revealing my true nightmare. It was Princess Celestia covering herself, shocked looking at me.
“Okay, I know this is weird but see…”
“GUARDS. WE GOT A INTRUDER INSIDE THE CASTLE.” Celestia yelled.
Ah crap basket!” I yelled while I felt Celestia magic blasting me off the room while breaking the entrance of her room, making me fly off and getting someone caught in the blast behind the door.
I look at the person and in some sort a way he looks like a human with…a double crap basket.
I didn’t have time for apologize. I needed to get out and find my group. I ran as fast has I can, trying to dodge the guards who were in front of me.
“Daniel! Are you okay?” KNEW IT!
“Yeah, I'm fine. what's going on? I heard you scream and came fast as I could.” Daniel said.
If I had a Pinkie Sense, I know just about now Celestia is explaining everything to Daniel.
“FIRE STYLE FIREBALL JUTSU!”
I look behind me checking whom in god damn made a Jutsu about. Wait is that a giant fireball.
I jump as high as I could, dodging the fire death ball while catching my pants on fire.
“Dammit, that’s hot!” I scream.
“Don’t worry, that wasn't enough fire for you for the thing that you did.” He smiles while revealing a Darker Aura behind him.
“Hmm. You should meet my friend. She was like that, but scarier.” I said getting his good side.
“You should run now” he smiles.
“Already planning it.” I ran so fast I really hope he didn’t catch me.
I ran at full speed so I could escape from Daniel. It seems I lost him for now. Well, there goes becoming a friend with…
“OW HEY BUB! THAT’S NOT COOL…WAIT ELECTRICITY? REALLY?” I knew that voice.
I followed the voice and saw Rainbow Dash still in disguise with Pinkie.
“YOU!” Daniel clenches his teeth.
“Me!” I said scared out of my mind.
“BOLT!” Rainbow notice me behind her.
“Pinkie!” she screamed
“NOT NOW!” Rainbow and me scream at her.
“Wait Pinkie?” he looks at Pinkie who is still disguised “If that’s Pinkie, that means?” he said while I saw pure rage in his eyes. “I told you to leave me alone!” he screams.
Okay, maybe I got lucky. We changed the subject. “Um Daniel sir…*Cough* see I can explain-” I was cut off when I saw a blade close to my nose. I felt like a major déjà vu here.
“Don’t think am done with you!” he said while turning his attention to Pinkie and Rainbow “And you take those ridiculous disguises off”
Pinkie and Rainbow didn’t have any choice than to remove their disguises, getting him more angry knowing he was right about one thing. But I needed to explain to him.
“Look pal. I don’t know who you are but if you hurt Bolt, you are going to regret it.” Rainbow clenches her fist.
“Wait, what?” Daniel said getting more pure rage in his eyes.
“Yeah, if you hit him. I’m not going to make any party for a meanie like you,” Pinkie barks back.

“Wait, you too.” He finally looks at me while I gave him a sheepish smile. “You better explain what you did to my friend if you like to keep your head where it is right now.”
“Um, of course, I can explain but can we do it somewhere in private. I really hope you have your popcorn ready cause is going to be a long story” I smiled hoping he will lower his weapon.
He did and luckily from this day I hope he believes me for what I’m about to explain to him.
