Your not entirely thirsty and could really use some ice cream instead of a drink, furthermore after a hard day's work your sweet tooth is beckoning for something which may satisfy it.

"Can I get a Banana Nut Split, extra caramel?"

"Why, certainly," the unicorn replies as he retrieves an already prepped ice cream bowl from a freezer and places it in front of you.

You dig your face into the bowl as you begin to devour the ice cream in a matter of seconds, when finished, you release a belch of satisfactory.

"I can tell ya ain't from around here," said the unicorn as he lifted the now empty bowl and wiped down the bar top.
"So, what brings ya to Manehatten?"

You explain to the old colt how you haven't received your cutie mark yet and you've been traveling around trying just about any odd job which came your way. He puts a hoof under his wrinkled chin as he pondered your situation for a moment.

"Can't say I can relate. Why, ever since I first started serving other ponies ice cream and beverages I knew that it was what I wanted to do," he said as he looked back at you with a bit of a saddened expression.  
"Sorry to hear that"

"Nah it's alright," you reply as you slowly lower your head on to the bar in a defeated manner.

"Well don't look so beaten, I'm sure you'll find your talent in life soon, everypony does eventually"

You crack a weak smile though your sure he could tell it was a fake one.

"Hey have ya tried Ponyville? Their always lookin for newcomers like yourself for small odd jobs. Sure the pay may not be all that well, but with so many to choose from I'm sure you'll get your cutie mark in no time. That town has had some rather....'unique' events happen in the past, so I'm sure there'll be a whole lot of spontaneous things which could help factor into findin your callin,"

As he says this you pick up your head with confidence and a smile on your face. You ask the pony of the nearest train station location and he informs you it's not far from the bar that your in. You thank him for his help and go to pay him the bits you owe him for the banana split.

"No need, it's on the house," he says as he slides the bits back to you.

You thank him for his generosity and exit the bar through the same entrance you had come from.




The streets of Manehatten are still just as bustling as ever with so many different ponies rushing to get to wherever it is they need to go. You prepare to head in the direction to the train station that the bartender had told you about when a thought pops into your head.

Your unsure of what you may need as far as supplies go for your journey. You usually packed light but always only brought the necessity's, though you are afraid that you may miss the next train to Ponyville.
