7 Wedding Day

The Friendship Castle's Atrium had been decorated in hundreds of hoof made decorations all curtsy of Rarity. Candy Burn and Fioralba where making sure that the arch was set up properly when Candy said "I'm actually surprised that your mom was able to make all this so fast and the wonderful dresses for my moms." Fioralba nodded with a smile "I helped a little with fetching materials with Sweetie Belle. But I'm still amazed as well." Fioralba told her friend before looking over at one of the alicorn Taissy's, that was wearing a simple yellow dress, as it stood guard "She even managed to get them into dresses that work for them."

Candy looked over and nodded "Yeah but you have to remember that the six of them are ancient artifacts from some old war. Taissy is my sister." Candy and Fioralba got back to finishing their decorating of the purple, pink, and red roses onto the arch and around the Atrium in the specific elegant pattern that Rarity wanted. As the two worked all six of the "Taissy Drones" as Pinkie liked to call them where patrolling different points of the whole castle. Number Three was in the Atrium with Candy and Fioralba as previously mentioned. Numbers Two and Four were standing out front wearing matching orange and green dresses respectfully, while carefully watching every pony that passed the Friendship Castle. Number One, wearing a red dress, was standing outside of Twilight's room as she got ready and Number Five, wearing a blue dress, stood dutifully outside of Fluttershy's room on the other side of the castle. Lastly there was Number Six wearing a purple dress and knocking on Taissy's door "Come on and get up! You have to go get Mayor Mare so she can marry our mothers."

I groaned loudly at hearing my own voice shout at me from the other side of the door telling me to get up. "I'll be out in a bit!" I shouted "And it's only my Mothers Number Six!! NOT yours!" I then crawled out of bed knowing that she had listened to me as I jumped into my shower. It had only been a few days but I was the only one that could tell the six drones from that temple apart by just their voices, not even Mother Twilight could tell the difference without looking at their cutie marks. Smiling at my own accomplishment I then finished up and hurried out ignoring the dress that "Aunt" Rarity had made for me because I didn't want it to get ruined while going to check up on the Mayor. I quickly passed by Two and Four who both gave me simple nods and I started trotting the long way toward City Hall not wanting to be back home any time soon.

I had soon reached the market and looked around at all the ponies selling their merchandise. As I stop to inspect a hoof carved box, that I was thinking as a wedding gift for my moms, when I heard the sound of three fillies running up behind me. Turning my head I see the three fillies know around town as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I smile at them and ask "What's up girls?" Sweetie Belle spoke first saying "Why aren't you wearing the dress my Big Sis made for you?"

"Sweetie!" Apple Bloom hissed "It ain't nice to just up and question ponies like that."

"Sorry." Sweetie said cringing realizing her mistake "I'm sorry for being rude Taissy."

"It's alright Sweetie Belle." I tell her with a smile as I open my mouth to resume speaking Scootaloo beat me to it saying "Hey Taissy we here wondering if we could borrow one of your drones to get Ancient Mechanics Cutie Marks?"

"I'm not sure that is the best idea. They are machines of war not common play things." I tell them as I think about all the possibilities. I then took notice of the puppy dog eyes that the three fillies were giving me. Sighing deeply "I'm sorry girls but I can't in good conscious agree to that." I then turn and start marching toward City Hall leaving the distrough CMC behind.

"Come on girls we need ta get ready for tha weddin!" I hear Apple Bloom say before they get out of my earshot. I continue trotting along admiring the wonderful weather that the pegasi had made for the day. I then walk into City Hall and look around taking in the lay out of the room automatically figuring out the best spots to be at in case of a fight thanks to my programming as a Dimensional Technologies rifle. I shivered at the thought of having been used for war before I trotted up to Mayor Mare's secretary and asked with a smile "Is the Mayor ready for the wedding today?"

The secretary nodded and waved me to head inside the office. I went inside and found Mayor Mare standing in front of a full length mirror and straightening her bow tie while speaking "... Through thick and thin. Through sickness and in health...... Oh good afternoon Taissy its nice to see you."

"Thank you Mayor." I tell her "It's almost time for the ceremony I believe."

"You are right about that young Taissy." she chuckled as she grabbed a book from off her desk "Do you wish to lead the way?" I nod and then start to lead her toward the Friendship Castle Atrium.

Everything was perfect so far, Twilight's parents Night Light and Twilight Velvet were sitting in the front row next to Shining Armor and Candace. Sadly Fluttershy's immediate family couldn't make it but that's why the rest of their friends as well as all of her animal friends where there. Fioralba was wearing the element dress that her mother Rarity had made for her job as flower girl. Twilight was already standing at the arch next to Mayor Mare and Taissy in a stunning white wedding dress accented with a few shades of purple that really complemented Twilight's coat. Pinkie was at the organ playing a wonderful song for the occasion, the tune she was planing then changed and some birds joined in with singing as the doors opened up revealing Candy Burn escorting Fluttershy down the aisle. Everypony stood and turned their heads to look at the two of them, Fluttershy wearing a dress made by Rarity that helped show her inner beauty that everypony all ready knew of while Candy was wearing a dress that resembled candy corn and both dresses shimmered in the light as they trotted slowly down the aisle. Fluttershy kept trying to hide behind her mane and Candy was able to keep her comforted enough to not hide completely. As they walked Twilight's cheeks turned red with blush and surprise at how stunning Fluttershy seemed.

Taissy was wearing a brides maid dress that complemented her silvery metallic coat as well as the colors from the Taissy Drones, as Fluttershy came down the aisle she took a quick glance around the Atrium at the Drones who where standing all around different places of the Atrium as guards. Taissy then looked back at Fluttershy when she reached the alter and stood next to Twilight.

Mayor Mare then cleared her throat and began, "Welcome, family, friends, and loved ones. We gather here today to celebrate the wedding of Princess Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy. You have come here to share in this formal commitment they make to one another, to offer your love and support to this union, and to allow Twilight and Fluttershy to start their married life together surrounded by the people dearest and most important to them. So welcome to one and all who have traveled from near and far. Twilight and Fluttershy thank you for your presence here today and now ask for your blessing, encouragement, and lifelong support, for their decision to be married. Marriage is perhaps the greatest and most challenging adventure of pony relationships. No ceremony can create your marriage; only you can do that - through love and patience; through dedication and perseverance, through talking and listening, helping and supporting and believing in each other; through tenderness and laughter, through learning to forgive , learning to appreciate your differences, and by learning to make the important things matter while letting go of the rest. What this ceremony can do is to witness and affirm the choice you make to stand together as life mates and partners. Will you, Fluttershy, take this mare to be your wedded wife?"

"I will!" Fluttershy said surely

"Will you, Twilight, take this mare to be your wedded wife?"

"I will!" She replied

Everypony rose before Mayor Mare continued, "Will you who are present here today, surround Fluttershy and Twilight in Love, offering them the joys of your friendship, and supporting them in their marriage? If so, please answer “We will.”"

The Atrium filled with sounds of everypony saying "We will."

"You may be seated." Everypony sat back down as she continued, "We’ve come to the point of your ceremony where you’re going to say your vows to one another, but before you do that, I ask you to remember that love – which is rooted in faith, trust, and acceptance – will be the foundation of an abiding and deepening relationship. No other ties are more tender, no other vows more sacred than those you now assume. If you are able to keep the vows you take here today, not because of any religious or civic law, but out of a desire to love and be loved by another person fully, without limitation, then your life will have joy and the home you establish will be a place in which you both will find the direction of your growth, your freedom, and your responsibility. Please now read the vows you have written for each other."

"I Twilight, take you Fluttershy to be my wife. My constant friend and partner, and my love. I will work to create a bond of honesty, respect, and trust; one that withstands the tides of time and change., and grows along with us. I vow to honor and respect you for all that you are and will become, taking pride in who we are both separately and together. I promise to challenge you, and to accept challenges from you. I will join with you and our community in an ongoing struggle to create a world we all want to live in, where love and friendship will be recognized and celebrated in all their many forms. Our home will be a sanctuary and a respite for us and for those whom we cherish. Above all, I will give you my love freely and unconditionally. I pledge this to you from the bottom of my heart, for all the days of your lives." Twilight said speaking first.

I will work to create a bond of honesty, respect, and trust; one that withstands the tides of time and change., and grows along with us. I vow to honor and respect you for all that you are and will become, taking pride in who we are both separately and together. I promise to challenge you, and to accept challenges from you. "Then, by the power of your live and commitment, and the power vested in me by the Governing Body of Equestia, I now pronounce you married! You may now kiss each other!" Mayor Mare said, as soon as the words left her mouth Twilight and Fluttershy had already locked their lips in a brief yet passionate kiss. Everypony cheered and smiled as they watched blush form on both mares faces.

"Alright!! LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!!" Pinkie Pie shouted leaping into the air before rushing out the door.

1st Pony POV The Reception

I personally had no idea where Pinkie had gotten the music to come from for the reception but I was enjoying it so I wasn't going to ask. I then looked around the room and found my mothers talking to my actual Aunt and Uncle, Candance and Shining Armor. "I need to talk to him later about my shield." I think to myself as I continue sweeping my gaze across the room, my gaze then falls upon a light brown unicorn I had never seen before who's cutie mark was an open book in a ring of fire. As we locked eyes I felt in the back of my mind the Drones all turn to look at the strange stallion as well as he winked at me and motioned with his head for me to follow him, before he left out the door.
