Megan landed in front of the hospital and she dispel the rainbow she rode on walking past the crowd of reporters shouting questions at her. She walk past the guards keeping the reporters from entering the building. Nurse Redheart was there to greet her and take her to her family. Everyone were still in a state of shock seeing that the well known writer of My Little Pony, is all base on true events that happen to her. And to prove it the rainbow of light has been shown being used by her on the live news feeds all over tv and online.
"Megan you're back," Paul said who stood outside the room Naruto is, with Doctor Horse and Granny.
"Took care of Kurama the fox with nine tails. Made him talk and he told me about him and Naruto, and the world they came from. Animal control is handling the rest," Megan said.
"Naruto came from another world then. Is this going to be like the ponies?" Granny ask.
"No it won't be. The way both of them ended up here was a one way trip for them. There's no way for them to return. The fox took Naruto hoping that being together would reopen a portal to their world. He had no plan after he took Naruto and has no idea how to open a way back to their world," Megan said.
"That's good we'll have enough trouble with you showing off that rainbow of yours," Granny said.
"Danny and Molly called already. Danny higher ups are now grilling him for answers and Molly is getting the same treatment. Everyone wants to know about you three and the magical land of ponies," Paul said.
"It was either that or lose Naruto and the woman who tried to save him," Megan said.
"Riding around on that rainbow isn't something I want a repeat," Paul said.
"Don't worry I would never let you fall," Megan said before someone small came running into her and grab onto her leg. Looking down she saw Applebloom clutching onto her leg.
"Mom you're back," Applebloom said as Applejack and Big Mac came out of the room.
"How is he?" Megan ask her kids.
"Not good," Big Mac said.
"The fox hurt him real bad," Applejack said.
"What about the other kids?" Megan ask.
"Sunset Shimmer arm was badly mauled, Stormy and Peppermint Fizz took a beating after they were knock down the hill and into the river. They're still treating Sunset," Applejack said worried about her. Sunset had tried to save Naruto and paid for it dearly.
"I see," Megan said reminding herself to go and see the girls after this to thank them for trying to save Naruto. "What about the woman who was fighting the fox?"
"Gilda? She's still back at the dam," Big Mac said.
"Isn't she Rainbow's old friend?" Applejack ask.
"Who?" Applebloom ask as Granny pulled her off of her mother's leg.
"I see," Megan said as she enters the room where Naruto is resting along with Paul. Applebloom wanted to go with them but was held back by Granny who knows that they needed some time alone.
In the room they found Naruto connected to many machines and what they could see of his body underneath the sheet, is covered in bandages. The doctors had to reset many of his broken bones and hook him up to a life support system because of how weak his body already is. Naruto still hasn't awaken from his ordeal and still in a state of shock.
"Poor kid," Paul said.
"I made the fox tell me about the world he and Naruto came from," Megan said
"And?" Paul ask.
"It's bad and, I know why Naruto is so scared of ninjas. Whatever happens he can't ever be brought back to that place," Megan said.
"How bad is it?" Paul ask.
"Makes everything, I went through look like the first half of a videogame. No one there is a complete monster as the villains, I have faced but it's worse because of that. His parents sealed the fox inside of him as they cared more about others then their own child. It wouldn't have been bad if the people they put above the well being of their son hadn't seen and treated him as if he was the fox. And the people who should have raise him didn't, they only cared when they were force to. The villains, I face were cruel and heartless but the ones who abused Naruto don't have the excuse of being complete monsters," Megan said.
"Force to?" Paul ask.
"They have something called chakra there like magic. Short story is that chakra will be taken away from that world unless Naruto becomes a powerful ninja and disables the spell that will take away the ninjas powers forever. He ran away from that world to get away from that world and let the ninja world end. Which, I can't blame him. That world from what the fox told me, is endless cycle of hate, and people's worth is only measured in what they can do for a ninja village. Without chakra the ninjas and the rulers of their world will lose much of their power. The world will move forward with the ninjas becoming apart of the past," Megan said. (1)
"Can they get here?" Paul ask.
"Hopefully no," Megan said. "We just have to wait about 10 years and after that there's no way of them ever coming to our world."
"What about Naruto?" Paul ask.
"Naruto been alone all of his life," Megan said as she storks Naruto's forehead. "It's about time he has a family and a home."
"You mean it?" Paul ask as they been talking about it.
"The Apple family is already a big one. There's always room for another. Firefly fell into the old well and brought me into one hell of an adventure. Naruto fell into our lives and the same thing is happening all over again," Megan said smiling warmly at Naruto.
"What about the fallout with all of this?" Paul ask.
"I always feared this day would come," Megan said.
"I can help with that," Discord said appearing in the doorway.
"Discord how did you get in here?" Megan ask.
"I watch the news and realizing that all your stories are base on true events. I quickly got to the hospital before the news crews got here," Discord said.
"Alright so what do you want?" Paul ask.
"Well seeing how you Megan revealed you still have the rainbow of light many parties will want it. So why not sign up with me and, I'll use my legal team to handle things in exchange for doing research on the rainbow of light," Discord said.
"Research?" Megan ask.
"It's pure magic isn't it. I would like to research it to see if there isn't magic in this world to and if so, it be a new source of energy," Discord said.
"Aren't you a game company?" Paul ask.
"Yes but, I do have several side businesses in case there's another videogame crash," Discord explained. (2) "One of them happens to be one that deals in renewable energy."
"All, I have to do is let your people research the rainbow of light?" Megan ask.
"Yes and, I'll have my legal department handle things along with news coverage so cover ups will be something impossible to do. So you don't have to worry about shadowy government agents after your lantern like magical item," Discord said.
"You have a deal. But you should know the rainbow only works for me," Megan said.
"I tried it already," Paul said.
"Well then you'll just have to be there. The good doctor will be very interested in learning all about the rainbow," Discord said.
"Doctor Whooves?" Paul ask.
"He's on my payroll after all. He invent things which, I market and funds his research to make more. It's how, I got so rich as, I handle the busniess while he invents. He's the one who created the microchips that first started my company. And from what he told me, he came to Ponyvile because of strange energy readings he pick up years ago coming from your family farm," Discord said.
"He always was poking around," Megan said.
"Which reminds me. What of the ponies?" Discord ask.
"The rainbow bridge just disappear one day and, I haven't heard from them since then," Megan said.
"I see. I will leave you two alone with his. Also don't worry about the bill. I'll handle it," Discord said leaving the room.
Once he was gone the rest of the Apple family came in having listened on in.
"Mom?" Applejack ask as she her brother and little sister huddled together in front of their parents.
"Yes kids it's time for me to tell you everything," Megan said as she began telling her kids what really happen to her when she was around their age with her own brother and sister.
