As Mare Mayor walked out of the senate building to walk home she was suddenly stopped by a mare next to a limo
"Miss Mayor Miss Glimmer wishes to speak with you, so please hop in and I will take you to her." the mare said
Mayor Mare cooperated and got into the limo.
"What's your name miss?" Mayor Mare asked
"Name's Apple Bloom personal assistance to Miss Glimmer." the mare said
After a two hour drive they finally arrived at Starlight Corps (Starlight Glimmer business) She got out of the car and followed the mare into the building until they came upon Starlight's penthouse and the secretary at the front desk said
"Miss Glimmer will see you now."
As mayor Mare enter the room she saw Starlight Glimmer admiring a painting of some kind and not wanting to be rude said
"Excuse me Miss Glimmer, but I heard you wanted to talk to me."
Starlight turned around smiling
"Miss Mayor I am so happy you were able to see me."
"Well I'm here what do you want?" Mayor Mare asked
"I asked you here because I want to talk about Matter-Horn." Starlight said
"Why, you already made your case about her to the senate." Mayor Mare said
"T hat was a clever cover story the really reason I defend her is because she to dangerous to be let go freely she has to be put on a leash and obey her masters." Starlight said
"Who will be the ones controlling her?" Mayor Mare asked
"Why the government of course and I will be overseeing it all." Starlight said
"Why do you want to oversee it." Mayor Mare asked
"Because, do you remember back at the senate when I asked you what was the oldest lie in Equestria was and I said that power can be innocent." Starlight said
"Yes?" Mayor mare said confused
"Well that was a lie, the truth is that the oldest lie in Equestria is that devils don't come from hell beneath us, they come from the sky." Starlight said proudly
"Why?' Mayor Mare asked
"Why what?" Starlight responded
"Why go through all this trouble defend Matter-Horn when your just going to use her?" Mayor Mare asked
"In order for me to tell you that I must answer your question with another question." Starlight said
"Go on." Mayor Mare said
"Look around you what do you see, I see a world that is corrupted from the inside, but when the Mare of Steel showed up they saw her as some kind of god sent down from the heavens to help us and save us , but here the something to think about which one is really corrupt the government or the alien that can make the whole world summit to her in a snap of a second."
Mayor mare was speechless
"Apple Bloom please escort Miss Mayor back to the limo." Starlight said
"Yes, ma'am."
"Please think about what I said senator." Starlight said as the doors closed
