It was the afternoon Pinkie's party and Twilight was helping Rarity with something in the castle of friendship.
"You want to prank someone?" Twilight asked, and not for the first time.
"Yes. Preferable with that spell that created Candy Burn," Rarity said.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I can let you do that. Last time all those random things came to life," Twilight said.
"Yeah, but that was because you weren't using it on a specific object," Rarity said.
"Yeah, good point. But are you sure you want to do this? Who are you even doing it on?" Twilight asked.
"Yes, I'm sure, and you'll find out when she tells you," Rarity said, grinning a little. Twilight paused for a few seconds and stared at Rarity.
"How is this a prank? You're basically forcing another pony into a relationship with you!" Twilight said.
"Yeah, that is true, but I think I can modify the spell to only make a hologram of what the kid might look like," Rarity said.
"Ok, you can try, but tell me how it goes later," Twilight said as she gave Rarity the spell.
Rarity picked up a rose as she walked towards Sweet Apple Acers.
How am I going to get Applejack to touch this? Rarity wondered as she casted the spell.
"Howdy Rarity. What are you doing here?" Applejack asked. Rarity jumped.
"Oh! Hi Applejack!" Rarity said. I didn't expect to see her so soon!
"What's the flower for? You're not dating Big Macintosh, are you?" asked Applejack. Rarity shock her head.
"No, but you need to smell it. It is really good!" Rarity said, thinking quick, handing Applejack the rose. When Applejack touched it, a bright light appeared around it.Uh oh, I don't think I did it correctly, thought Rarity.
"Uh, what's happening?" Applejack asked nervously.
"A prank!" Rarity giggled.
"What? You tried to prank me?" Applejack asked.
"Yes!" Rarity said as the light grew brighter.
"What exactly was this prank?" Applejack asked.
"Yeah, I was hoping for a hologram of what a kid with our DNA would look like as a rose," Rarity said.
"You can do that?" Applejack asked.
"Eh, I was trying to modify the spell to do that," said Rarity. "But apparently all it does is make this light." Suddenly the light became complete and Rarity and Applejack had to cover their eyes. When they opened their eyes again, there was a girl laying on the ground in front of them. She had light blue eyes, shoulder length hair of the same color, white fur, and shiny red hooves. The strangest thing is, she had a flower tail.
"Wow, nice hologram," Applejack said as she looked at her.
"Um, that's not a hologram," said Rarity. Applejack stared at her.
"This ain't a hologram? You mean we actually have a kid now?" Applejack asked.
"It appears so. Can pranks go wrong? Because this on just did," asked Rarity.
"Yes. You know the cancellation spell, right?" Applejack asked.
"No. Besides, I think we should keep her!" said Rarity.
"Really? Actually, yeah, this might not be so bad!" said Applejack. "Wait, does she have a name?"
"I don't think so. Candy Burn wasn't born with one. I think we should call her Fioralba!" Rarity said.
"Fioralba?" Applejack asked.
"Yeah, it's Italian for flower dawn," Rarity explained.
"Ok, how are we going to explain that we now have a kid? We used the spell that Twilight used for Candy Burn, and then all those things came to life," said Applejack.
"Oh, don't worry, Twilight wasn't using the spell on anything specific, which is why those things came to life," said Rarity.
"Huh, ok!" said Applejack. "So, where should we take her?" asked Applejack.
"Take who where?" asked Fioralba. Rarity and Applejack jumped a little in surprise.
"You, um, to a friend's house to make sure that you're ok!" Applejack said, thinking on the spot. Fioralba looked at Applejack.
"Ok. Why can't I remember anything?" Fioralba asked, starting to freak out a little bit.
Because you don't have anything to remember," Rarity thought.
"Depends. Although it usually is," said Rarity.
"Ok," said Fioralba. She then looked behind her and saw her tail and she started to freak out.
"Ok, that's not normal! Why do I have a flower tail?!" she yelled.
"Calm down!" Rarity yelled, trying to make herself louder then Fioralba, but was unsuccessful.
"Don't make me use a sleep spell!" Rarity yelled. When Fioralba didn't calm down, so that's what Rarity did. When Fioralba collapsed, she asked Applejack "Could you carry her?"
"Sure," Applejack said as she got Fioralba onto her back.
"Ok, we should get to Twilight's house, and hopefully we will have come up with a good enough reason to why she has a rose for a tail," said Rarity.
"We could just tell her she was created with a spell," suggested Applejack. Rarity glared at her.
"We can't do that!" Rarity said.
"Why not? Twilight and Fluttershy told Candy Burn," said Applejack.
"That is true. However, Fioralba could react totally different," said Rarity.
"Ok, maybe we should ask for some help when we get to the castle," said Rarity, starting to walk towards the castle.
"Yeah, we probably should," replied Applejack, starting to follow Rarity.
