Rainbow Dash sighed.
She sat in the hospital room that Twilight slept in, scared about what might be happening to her friend. It had been three days after the monster attacked, and Ponyville was still recovering from the destruction. Applejack and Rarity barely left Twilight's library now, constantly studying without rest. Fluttershy had joined them, but she couldn't stay for long, as she had animals to care for as well.
Spike and Celestia were worried sick. Princess Celestia couldn't stay forever, as she was a princess, and had her duties. However, she could take care of Spike in Twilight's absence. Which is exactly what she did.
Pinkie Pie hasn't left Sugarcube Corner since the monster attack.
Rainbow sighed once more, looking at Twilight, who's side she refused to leave, even after visiting hours. She tried as hard as she could to figure out what was wrong with Twilight's back, and the sticks that stuck out of them.
"Twilight, what's wrong with you?"

I have no idea what happened.
But I'm chasing after my Cutie Mark, which is singing a song with no lyrics or tune, sort of telling me to follow it.

But I would of thought it a trap... if the monsters and nightmares didn't flee from it.
They parted away, dashing out of sight, fleeing in terror when the strange, glowing Cutie mark flew through. So I followed it, and it's commands.
Follow me.
As I followed, strange things seemed to happen around me. The dark and scary forest that the nightmares lived in fades away and vanishes.
And a memory takes it's place.
The day I got my Cutie Mark.
The time I was sent to Ponyville by the Princess.
The night that my friends and I claimed the Elements of Harmony, and defeated Nightmare Moon.
All the good times we had together after that.
The fall of Discord, and Chrysalis after that.
I might not know what's happening, but right now? It doesn't seem too bad.

Rainbow Dash looked at the sticks in Twilight's back, and seemed to realize something.
It was a strange and horrible picture: Two identical sticks, bent in a strange way atop a Unicorn's back, bleeding - though a lot less than last time - from scars that formed from stretching skin, with awful dark purple needles sticking out, trying to face away from Twilight's face. The needles had smaller, lighter colored needles sticking out of them, the same color as Twilight's lavender coat.
Rainbow Dash looked at this horiible image on her friend, and wondered something.
"Why does that seem familiar..?"
Suddenly, Rainbows eyes snapped open wide, as she realized what could be happening.
"No..."
Rainbow stared at the purple needles, all facing away from Twilight, the smaller lavender ones attached being a lot softer.
"No... way..."
She stared at the exact shape of the sticks - no, bones - sticking out of Twilight's back.
"No way. NO WAY."
Rainbow flew out of the room at top speed, trying desperately to get to her friends.

Pinkie wasn't happy.
When your friend was in the hospital with sticks growing from her back, it was hard to stay smiling.
Pinkie Pie had baked cake after cake after cake, hoping it would cheer her up.
It didn't.
Suddenly, Rainbow crashed through the door to Sugarcube Corner, staring right at Pinkie.
"PINKIE! COME QUICK! TWILIGHT - COME ON!" She yelled at her.
Pinkie didn't have time to think before she was on Rainbows back, getting the others. She was very, very confused.

Applejack was woken up by the sound of wood shattering in a loud crash.
Rainbow Dash had broken through the door, calling the names of the three friends in the room as loud as she could.
"RARITY! APPLEJACK! FLUTTERSHY! IT'S TWILIGHT! COME ON!" She practically screamed at them, throwing them on her back along with their confused pink friend, Pinkie Pie.

Rainbow zoomed as fast as she could with four ponies on her back, to the Hospital.
She threw herself and all of them into the room with Twilight, panting all the way.
Silence.
Then, question after question.
"What the hay, RD! What happened?!"
"Dashie?! What's wrong with Twilight!? Why did you bring us here!"
"Oh my.... Rainbow Dash? What... what happened?"
"Rainbow Dash, darling, what in Equestria is wrong?!"
"QUIET!"
There was silence once more.
Rainbow held up a hoof, trying to catch her breath. She opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it.
"I'll show you." Said Rainbow Dash, as she began plucking feathers off her wings, and jabbing herself with them so she bled.
"RAINBOW! What in tarnation are ya doin'!"
"I'll show you!" she shouted again.
Her wings were now a mess.
She turned around, and showed them to her friends, side by side with Twilight.
Rainbow's wings looked strangely like-
A gasp from Fluttershy filled the room as she figured in out, one hoof covering her mouth in shock.
Rainbow turned around and spoke.
"Guys. Twilight's growing wings."
