I said to Derpy "All we are doing tonight is watching the stars on a small planet in a time paralleled universe, nothing too special."
I pressed a lot of buttons, pulled some levers and turned knobs... well at least to Derpy. The only one button Derpy has tried to learn is the tribophysical waveform macro-kinetic extrapolator but she still hasn't got the hang of it.
"Hold onto something," I say to Derpy. The T.A.R.I.S landed with its same noises and same color but I felt different today. "Hold on let me go grab something" I shout to Derpy as I run down the hall. I grab the T.A.R.D.I.A.B or the Time and Relative Dimensions In a Bag. The bag has a close to endless storage space and I placed a black hole somewhere in there so it has anti-gravitational pulls which make the bag almost weightless.
I felt it again something stopped me in my footsteps. It felt weird it was making my hearts race. I couldn't hold back a smile. I gave off and awkward laugh. I slapped myself in the face and told myself "Stop I need to focus" it is just that feeling I get.. I stopped myself again once more, I finished my sentence ..With Derpy." I ran back upstairs and grabbed Derpy's hand, she gave off a small shriek and then a laugh.
We ran out of the T.A.R.D.I.S and onto a new planet. Derpy coughed and plugged her nose. "What is that smell," she said with her fingers covering up her nose. "That is the smell of.. oh that isn't a good smell". I turned around and walked back into the T.A.R.D.I.S I guess this isn't the right place for a picnic. Derpy sat down in one of my chairs and picked up a book.
I thought for a while and I couldn't think of any places that I could take her for a decent picnic. I ran my fingers through my hair and started walking around. Derpy looked at my funny, this embarrassed me so I walked downstairs and walked through the endless halls. "Here it is, I say to myself. I found my library.
I run my fingers along the tall wooden shelves as I walked down different rows. I found the book I was looking for it was labelled "Most beautiful planets" I flipped it open to a random page and the planet in the picture was very beautiful. I put the book back into its place when I saw a book laying underneath a table. I picked it up and looked and the cover. It was labled "Love". I was wondering how it got there so I looked around for any clues why it wold be there, nothing seemed out of place so I looked inside. The chapter headings were labelled numbers so I opened to a random page "How to tell your in love". I read and realised that was what I felt earlier. I placed the book in its spot and grabbed the other book.
I walked back upstairs and placed the book on the consul. I pressed a small button found underneath the console and some cords popped out of the monitor. I stuck one onto the spine of the book, one onto the page number and one onto my arm. Derpy walked up to me and asked what I was doing but I knew it might have been to complicated for her so I told her "It's a psychic connection cable it reads the book finds the thing I want it to find then it takes us there".
The T.A.R.D.I.S started shaking so Derpy jumped back into the chair and buckled herself up. As soon as the T.A.R.D.I.S landed I told Derpy to hop up, I opened up the front doors and grabbed Derpy's hand.
I ran onto the field with Derpy holding onto my left hand and a small bag in my right. We laughed and smiled as we ran to the top of a small hill. I quickly grabbed a large blue blanket from my bag, I laid it out on the grass and placed the bag on the corner.
Derpy quickly laid down on the blanket holding onto my left arm playfully tugging at it. I laid down close enough for her to put her head on my shoulder and for her to cling to my right arm. I reached my left hand behind my head and rested my head on it.
I smiled as I looked upwards to see the endless light blue sky and different shaped clouds above us. The grass around us moved with the swaying of the wind and the parting of clouds. I turned my head and smiled down at Derpy she looked back at me with her beautiful golden eyes, her eyes matched her golden hair. Her sweater was gray and had bubbles on both sides of her waist. I looked past her now and off into the distance. I saw mountains topped with a white snow.
Soon the sun started to set and the sky turned from yellow to pink then to purple. Soon the moon started to rise above us while the clouds faded away. The stars seemed to fade into the ground creating a soft horizon. The sky was littered with white dots mixed with a blue and black stream flowing through the sky.
I noticed that Derpy was starting to shiver so I slowly inched us to the edge of the blanket. She asked, "What are you doing"? I quickly reached over her and grabbed the edge of the blanket, then I rolled over my direction until the blanket was wrapped around us. Derpy was in front of me and I was in back we laughed and looked up at the sky to see the beautiful stars above us.
Derpy squeezed to turn around in the blanket, she placed her arms on my chest with hands on shoulders. I placed my head on the ground so she could place her head on top of mine. After about twenty minutes I felt her finally relax comfortably in my head. I slid her head onto the top of my arm so I could look up at the sky.
I looked up to the uncountable amount of stars in the sky. I looked back down at Derpy to see that she was asleep, she looked liked it to me so I turned my head again.
I saw a shooting star roar across the sky. I quickly whispered, "I wish that I could tell Derpy the real way I feel about her and not just a companion and I wish that I could tell her that I want to spend my lives with her."
Even though she was asleep I blushed at the thought. I took a breath of the cool night air It filled my lungs and chilled my face, I looked back at her and closed my eyes. I feel her arms wrap around my neck, all I felt lips touch mine and a quiet whisper say "I love you too".
