Spike's Yo-Kai Watch Adventures

by Joeyjambo122

Yo-kai are Real....

Any attempt to replicate Yo-Kai behavior would be ill advised!

A young purple dragon walked through a dense forest holding a net and bug cage. He soon came upon a clearing that had a big tree in the middle of the area. Walking closer to the tree, he noticed a strange machine at the base of the tree. "What's this thing?" He muttered to himself.

He noticed it was a capsule prize machine and inserted a bit and turned the crank. A stone capsule prize rolled out and he picked it up and examined it curiously. Grabing both sides of the capsule, he started to twist it open. A loud pop was heard as he finally opened it and a bright, light blue swirling column appeared, a ghostly figured danced around inside the column, before flashing a toothy grin as he laughed evilly.

"It was a hot summer day, when I encountered something strange...."

Unexplained occurrences happen every, but if you posses the Yo-Kai Watch, you will have the amazing and rare ability to see the elusive Yo-Kai. Invisible spirit like entities, responsible for life's daily annoyances. But beware.... when a Yo-Kai enters your life, things will never be quite the same....

On the edge of the Everfree forest, a young purple dragon was sneaking up on an unsuspecting rainbow colored butterfly, which was resting on a tree. Net in hand, the dragon slowly crept up to the tree.

"Almost there, stay calm Spike, and just keep moving slowly and carefully." With one swing of his net, Spike successfully caught the beautiful butterfly.

"Gotcha!" Spike exclaimed happily.

Nearby, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were showing off the bugs they had just caught. Bug collecting had become a popular activity for the youth of Equestria. "Check out this here Stag Beetle Ah caught!" Said a yellow colored filly with an apple red mane, which had a big pink bow, and tail with cowboy accent. Two other fillies, one orange with wings and a rough purple mane and a white one with a light purple and pink mane both showed their bugs.

"That's nothing Applebloom. Check out this awesome ladybug I caught!" The orange filly proudly stated

Applebloom at look at said ladybug and sighed. "Your right Scootaloo, that's a cooler bug than mine."

"Nuh uh, this bug is cooler than Scootaloo's!" The white filly stated a she held up a green and yellow cicada.

Scootaloo looked at it and her eyes widened. "Ah nuts! Sweetie Belle is right. The cicada is definitely cooler than mine..."

Sweetie Belle smiled triumphantly before they all heard a familiar boyish voice calling out to them. "Hey girls! Check this bug out!"

All three girls looked in the direction of the voice to see Spike running toward them. "Oh hey Spike! We were just seeing who has the coolest bug and Sweetie Belle won." Spike skidded to a halt in front of them. "Really? That's cool Sweetie Belle. But wait till you see the bug I caught." As he finished speaking, Spike pulled out the bug cage he had hanging over his shoulder by a strap. He opened it before pulling out the rainbow colored butterfly he caught.

The girls were stunned before Scootaloo finally spoke. "That's so awesome Spike!

"Yeah! Ah never seen a butterfly like that before! Applebloom exclaimed excitedly.

"I bet it's a new species!" Sweetie Belle stated.

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I saw it. Anyway, I have to get going to Zecora's and buy a potion for Twilight." Spike stated before saying farewell to his friends and headed into the Everfree Forest path that lead to Zecora's. After picking up the potion, he headed back down the path when something caught his eye. Turning his head, Spike noticed a firefly flying around glowing.

"Whoa! Look at the size at the firefly!" Readying his net, Spike swung at the firefly missing. After missing several times, he growled in frustration. "Darn it! Hold still!" The glowing flew off in a different direction, with Spike giving chase.

After several minutes, the firefly eventually got away. "Aw horse apples! It got away." After calming down from running, Spike looked around and realized he was lost. "Aw crud! I stepped off the path chasing after that bug!" Briefly panicking, Spike soon noticed clearing nearby.

His curiosity guiding him, Spike entered and was surprised by the incredible flower field inside. "Wow... who new there was place like this in the Everfree Forest..." Spike muttered as he observed the scenery.

His eyes soon came upon a large tree in the middle of the clearing. The tree had a strange rope with zig zag papers tied around it in way that looked like a belt, but this wasn't what caught Spike's attention. At the base of the tree sitting on small rock, stood an ancient looking capsule machine with stone capsules inside.

Walking closer to the tree, Spike took a closer at capsule machine. "That's weird, what's a capsule machine doing all the way out here?"

After Spike said this, a sudden voice came out of nowhere.

Feed me.... Feed me....

"What the.... wh.... who said that!?" Spike exclaimed stuttering.

Feed me.... Feed me.... the voice said again.

Spike looked around frantically. "Rainbow Dash! Pinkie Pie! If this a prank, then it's not funny! Quit freaking me out!" Spike yelled angrily.

The voice soon repeated and sung louder each time.

Feed me! Feed me! I'm sorry hungry I need to eat! The voice sung.

Spike looked at the machine again. "Does that machine want me to feed a bit?" Taking out a bit out from the remaining money he had, Spike slowly approached the machine and inserted the bit coin before turning the handle.

One of the stone capsules rolled out of the machine and he picked it up. Looking at it curiously, Spike slowly began to twist the sides in an attempt to open it. There was a loud pop and bright lights as Spike finally opened it.

Looking up, he noticed bright blue moving in a swirl and a creature inside suddenly turned in Spike's direction before bringing out a giant toothy grin. The blue ring dissipated and revealing the creature's full form. He looked like a cartoony ghost.

The creature then suddenly introduced himself. "Greetings my scaly friend! I am Whisper!" And bowed. "At your service!"

"Uh... I'm Spike" Spike introduced himself still dumbfounded.

"Greetings Spike! I bet your wondering just what the heck I am aren't you?" Before Spike could even respond, Whisper started speaking again.

"I am Yo-Kai, that thing you ponies and dragons would call a ghost, spirit, or an extra dimensional being!"

Under the barrage of words, Spike managed to get out. "Yo-kai? I've never heard of it." Whisper stared at him briefly before saying "Seriously?" Before continuing.

"The Yo-Kai are mysterious beings that cause strange phenomenon. I know I know, so why was I in the spooky capsule machine?" Whisper said, suddenly changing subjects.

"It was a hundred and ninety years ago when some self-righteous monster claimed me a menace to society and locked me in the machine."

Spike confused, had to ask. "Wait, they had capsule machines back then?

"Never mind the details detective. I mean, who knew monks had such a sense of humor? What is important is that you have managed to set me freeeeeeee!" Whisper yelled as he flew high in the sky before quickly coming down again and started rambling again. "And now you and I have entered into a sacred bond. I mean do you know how cramped it was in that capsule?"

During Whispers rant, Spike thought to himself. Okay... this has gone past weirdville and entered bizarre town, maybe if I back away slowly and don't lose eye contact, I can get back home before that weirdo notices. Spike slowly got up and backed away slowly as Whisper continued his rant.

Whisper finally took notice of Spike leaving and shouted. "Hey! Where do you think your going!?" Spike winced and cursed himself. Darn it! I broke eye contact!

Whisper suddenly flew up in front of his face. "Just where are you gallivanting off to!? Do you realize how great of an honor this is!?" Whisper shouted angrily.

"Look pal, I was just out here buying a potion for a friend of mine and got lost chasing a bug on the way back. So I was just looking for a way home, not for some lame capsule prize with an annoying ghost guy in it." Spike stated bluntly.

Whisper simply sighed before talking again "Look, Spike was it? This is probably the luckiest day of your young life and your just gonna waste it? You may not realize but being able to see Yo-kai is one of the rarest things that could happen to someone like you. And I since I'm forever indebted to you, that means I'm your Yo-Kai butler! Whisper stated excitedly.

"Do I get three wishes?" Spike asked. "I'm not a genie, I'm a Yo-Kai. If want to catch a bug then I can get you bugs." Whisper offered.

Whisper suddenly started chanting. "Come on out little fireflies, time to light it up! Spike looked at him confused before a firefly suddenly flew nearby. "Hey, that's the one I saw earlier!" Spike excitedly shouted readying his net, before hundreds of fireflies suddenly dog piled him.

Not noticing Spike's struggling, Whisper said. "You're welcome!" Spike however was feeling anything but grateful. "Get these things off of me!" Spike shouted angrily as his arm came loose, receiving several shocks from the fireflies in the process.

Whisper sighed at this and chanted again. "Sorry little fireflies, it appears we have a little ingrate on our hands! Whisper then proceeded to lay out a big fat fart all over the firefly's, causing to them flee in disgust, shouting "gas attack!" Or "The pomanity!"

Spike got up with his hand covering his nose. "Gotta tell ya, this prize stinks, literally! " He sarcastically commented.

When Whisper gave him a wide smile, Spike sighed in defeat. "Fine, but you can only stay with me if you can get me out of the Everfree forest and back to Ponyville."

Whispers smile grew large before happily exclaiming. "Oh thank you Spike! Thank you, I promise you won't be disappointed!" Whisper proclaimed.

"Somehow I doubt that... " Spike muttered under his breath.

After the duo left the clearing, they proceed through the forest back to the path that lead to Ponyville, which Whisper surprisingly knew where it was, which he explained was because he knew the forest like the back of his hand. After finally getting back on the right path, they pair finally reached the edge of the Everfree forest with Ponyville a short distance away.

"Okay, somehow you were surprisingly helpful in there, so you can come live with me." Spike reluctantly stated.

"Oh boy! I can't wait to see what my new home looks like!" Whisper excitedly exclaimed.

Spike sighed once more before muttering. "How am I gonna explain this to Twilight?"

A few minutes later, they arrived at the crystal tree palace that Spike called home. Whisper eventually noticed Spike's thoughtful expression on his face. "Something on your mind there Spike?"

Spike looked up before answering. "I'm trying to think of some way to explain to Twilight about how some ghost guy who wants to be my butler and that I agreed to it." Whisper nodded in understanding. "There's no need to worry about that my young scaly friend, only you are able to see me." Spike looked up again in surprise. "Really? Huh, I guess that solves that problem."

Walking up to the door and entering, Spike called. "Hey Twilight! I'm home!" Spike soon heard voices coming from he main conference room which sounded suspiciously like shouting. Peaking through the door, he saw that Twilight and Rainbow Dash were arguing.

"How could you be so irresponsible Rainbow Dash!?" Twilight yelled. Rainbow shouted back. "It's just bent page! It's not like I tore the entire book apart!" Twilight yelled back. "Well excuse me that I'm trying to preserve a perfectly good book!"

"They're arguing over a bent page? I know Twilight loves books, but she wouldn't go nuts over something that petty." Spike stated confused by the subject of the argument.

Whisper took a another look through the door and examined the scene. "Hmm. Aha! I knew it was her. A Yo-Kai is making your friends fight."

Spike looked back in the room confused. "Really?" Spike looked into the room looking around and seeing nothing. "Where? The only one's in there are Twilight and Rainbow.

Whisper quickly answered this questioned. "Of course you can't see her, not without this." Whisper pulled out a strange blue and green watch with big bubble on top of clock face. Spike grabbed it to get a better look at it and noted that the clock had four different colors on it which were light blue, light green, light pink, and light purple respectively. He also noticed the watch had a green flame pattern on the straps.

"What is this thing?" Spike questioned. Whisper happily answered. "It's the Yo-Kai Watch!" Spike then asked. "What's a Yo-Kai Watch?"

Whisper continued explaining. "It allows you to see the Yo-Kai, you can stop your friends from fighting if you put it on."

"Well go on." Whisper insisted. Spike slowly slipped the watch over his left wrist. "Press the button on the right." Whisper instructed. Spike did so and the bubble on the top opened and started showing a blue spotlight coming from it. "Whoa! The bubble popped open!" Spike said amazed.

'That's no bubble my friend! That is a Yo-Kai lens." Whisper corrected.

Aiming the blue spotlight at Whisper, Whisper quickly instructed. "Not at me, point it at your friends." Spike nodded and pointed the watch at Twilight and Rainbow, who were still arguing. He soon found a large black silluette standing behind the arguing mares. The light eventually revealed the Yo-Kai's full form which looked like a giant living ball of purple slime and Spike could only tell it was female because of a bow in it's slime like hair.

"Whoa! What is that thing!?" Spike exclaimed.

Whisper pulled out a strange flat device and shifted through it. "Dismerelda, it's a Yo-Kai who creates tension wherever she goes. She makes the atmosphere for everyone in the room unpleasant and tense, causing conflict and discord."

Whisper elaborated further. "This is a very a common scenario for Yo-Kai to create. We like to call it "fighting about nothing." The worst case being your friends will fight forever." Spike was shocked by this. "What!?"

"Your impossible Rainbow Dash!" Twilight shouted.

"Fine then, I'll just go!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

Both said at the same time to Spike's horror. "Oh no!"

Whisper continued his explanation. "Yo-kai are everywhere, you just can't see them. But they influence ponies and dragons in all sorts of mysterious ways."

"I understand that, but how do we get this one to leave?" Spike asked, no longer wanting to see his friends like this.

Whisper presented the solution. "The only way to get a Yo-Kai to leave is through negotiation or confrontation."

Spike spoke again. "Well then go talk to her, your the Yo-Kai here." Whisper bowed again. "Done and done. I'll solve this problem quickly and gracefully!" Whisper said confidently as he flew into the room and up to Dismerelda.

"Hey... Whisper here, would you mind getting your big blubby butt out this castle and never come back?" Whisper asked rather bluntly.

Dismerelda simply sighed and said "No."

Backing his way to entrance, he said. "Well I tried everything but negotiations have broken down." Spike simply deadpanned at him before saying. "How was any of that graceful? You know what? Let me try talking to her, maybe I could try reasoning with her." Whisper looked at him again. "You?" He questioned.

Spike simply ignored him and walked up to Dismerelda. "Excuse me, miss Dismerelda, could please leave my friends alone? I hate seeing them fight like this, especially over something so petty." Spike asked politely.

She sighed again. "I'm sorry to be such a downer, but I didn't have anywhere else to go, no filter." Spike spoke again. "What does that mean? Please, if there's something wrong then you can tell me." Spike offered kindly.

Dismerelda noticed the kind look on the young dragons face, she decided to confess. "Alright, the truth is I had a fight with my husband and I stormed off in a huff.

Spike was extremely surprised. "Really!? So Yo-Kai have silly disputes too?" Dismerelda sighed once more. "There's no dispute, he doesn't love me anymore."

Spike gave her a sympathetic look. "What makes you think that? I mean Twilight and her friends fight sometimes but they still care about each other. I'm sure you two can make up if you just talk to each other." Spike gave her a reassuring smile upon finishing.

"Even if I wanted to, I don't where he is." She said as she looked sadly.

"Found him!" Whisper suddenly exclaimed. "Really? Wow that was fast." Spike said amazed.

Suddenly a giant yellow cloud creature came through the door with green hair with a flower sticking out of it and wore a huge smile on his face.

"Dis! Dis baby, I'm so sorry we had to fight!" The being apologized. Spike looked at him dumb founded. "I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that's her husband?" Whisper nodded. "That's right, meet Happiere, a cheerful Yo-kai who emanates warmth and comfort." He explained.

Happiere's aura started spreading around the room that soon washed over the arguing mares. Whisper elaborated further. "Dismerelda, who makes everything dark and dreary, is married to Happiere, who makes everything bright and happy. The two cancel each other out and create normalcy."

Both girls looked at each other with regretful looks on their faces before moving closer to each other. "Sorry Rainbow Dash.... I over reacted over something as silly as bent page." Rainbow Dash apologized. "And I'm sorry for not taking better care of something you own." Both girls happily accepted each other's apologies much to Spike's relief.

"Whew, that was a close one." Spike muttered.

"Let's go home my sweet cakes." Happiere said in a sweet tone to his wife. Dismerelda nodded in agreement before adding. "Let's get out of here. This place is so depressing, no filter." She said as the couple walked through the door.

Spike looked back at the mares and noticed they were getting dinner ready for they're friends. "I'm so glad to see them working together instead of arguing." Spike said with a small smile. Whisper smiled back. "I agree! Good friends are very hard to come by these days."

Spike nodded in agreement. "You got that right!" Unaware to Spike or Whisper, a certain orange earth pony walked in on them with the rest their friends. "Uh.... Spike? Who Ya'll talking to?" Applejack asked confused. Spike jolted in surprise before nervously fumbling. "Uh.... no one! Just talking to myself." He followed this with a few strained chuckles.

Applejack looked at him suspiciously, something telling her he wasn't just talking to himself. But for now she decided to shrug it off.

Later that night after dinner, Spike sat on his bed alone in his room except for Whisper, who was floating nearby. "So Yo-Kai are real huh?" Spike mused.

Whisper nodded. "Fraid so. You see the Yo-Kai live in a dimension parallel to the pony world. But they often come to your world to cause trouble like they did today." Whisper informed.

The thing is, no pony can see them but you." Spike sat up at this. "Amazing, Twilight would be having a field day right now if she knew about this." Spike chuckled. "I still can't believe it!"

Whisper nodded. "No need to worry Spike! I, your trusty butler, shall make sure you are well takin care of and help in anyway I can." He promised.

Spike stared at him. "Uh.... no offense Whisper, but you really weren't much help back there.... " Spike said bluntly.

Whisper floated there flabbergasted by the response before spontaneously defending himself. "But who gave you the Yo-Kai Watch!? Me!"
Whisper yelled before chuckling nervously. "Oh.... and uh P.S., you can't ever take it off."

Spike didn't take this very well. "What!? You couldn't have told me that before I put it on!?" Spike nearly shouted, shocked by the revelation.

"Whoa calm down there! Your gonna blow a gasket!" Whisper said trying to calm the young dragon.

Spike sighed after finally calming down. "There's no getting out of this is there?" Spike questioned dryly.

"Yep, but don't worry...." Whisper suddenly chuckled in a creepy tone. "Whatever happens from now on, I can guarantee you that your life will never be quite the same again." Whisper promised flashing a small grin.

Spike gulped before looking at the Yo-Kai Watch on his left wrist. Yo-Kai Watch? What have I gotten myself into?

Yo-Kai Draggie and Jibanyan

Celestia's sun brighten the room, revealing it's sleeping occupants. A baby purple and green dragon in a basket and a ghost floating lazily near him.

Spike woke up with a yawn as did Whisper. "Yaaawn.... Wow, that was a crazy dream last night.... no more gems before bed." Spike muttered sleepily. "Really? I've had the most extravagant dream ever!" Whisper yelled, startling the young dragon. Spike, now fully awake, looked up at Whisper before sighing. "It wasn't a dream was it?"

The morning progressed like normal, with Spike waking Twilight for breakfast, after he had to found her in the library conked in a pile of books.... again. "Your friend really likes books doesn't she?" Whisper muttered curiously. Spike looked to him. "That's putting it extremely lightly." Spike jokingly stated.

Twilight, after having her morning coffee, finally took notice of the strange watch on Spike's wrist. "Hey Spike, that's an odd wrist watch your wearing. Where did you get that?" She asked curiously, noting the odd design.

"Oh uh.... just got it from a clock store, whose name I can't remember." Spike said in a heartbeat. Twilight looked at him suspiciously before realizing she wasn't gonna get an answer out of him. "Fine, but can you at least take it off so I can examine it?" Whisper quickly panicked. "No! Don't let her look at it!" Whisper yelled.

Hearing the desperation in his voice, Spike fumbled trying to come up with an excuse to not let Twilight see it. He took notice of a bunch of newspapers laying on the table.

"Hey Twilight, what are you looking at there? Spike asked, both in curiosity and trying to change the subject.

Twilight noticed Spike looking at the newspapers she had on the table. "Oh that, we'll I was planning to investigate why there were so many near misses on the intersection near the edge of town." Spike took a closer look at the newspapers. "Near misses?" Twilight nodded. "Yeah, you know, ponies almost running into speeding wagons."

"I want to investigate it, but I have to be in Canterlot later and I don't have time." She said in disappointed voice.

"We'll how about I investigate it for you after I finish my chores? I got nothing else better to do today." Spike offered. Twilight looked at him again. "Really? Are you sure your okay with it?" Spike nodded.

Twilight sighed in relief. "Whew.... thanks Spike, with my Princess duties, I haven't had much time to focus on the small problems here."

Later that day, Spike finished his chores just as Twilight left for Canterlot. "Good call earlier Spike, I was worried she might find out our secret." Whisper commented.

"No problem Whisper. Besides, if what you said about Yo-Kai is true, than maybe one is responsible for the near misses at the intersection." Whisper nodded at this. "I see what you mean. Near misses more than usual at in intersection definitely sounds suspicious." Whisper agreed.

The duo headed through Ponyville to the intersection, passing by Sugarcube Corner. They both soon heard a hyperactive female voicing yelling. "The crystal ball is moving! Ahhhhh!" A pink mare with a puffy dark pink mane, soon ran out of the sweet shop, running into Spike in the process.

Both tumbled to the ground, with Spike yelling. "Ow! Pinkie Pie! What's gotten into you!?" Spike asked the panting mare.

Taking a few breaths, she said. "The crystal ball I found in the forest suddenly moved! I was so freaked out, I ran out of the store and into you!" She yelled still panting slightly.

Whisper took in the words suspiciously. "Spike, we should investigate real fast. There might be a Yo-Kai at play here" Spike looked at him curiously. "Really?" Whisper nodded in response. "Okay Pinkie Pie, I'll go see if I can fix your crystal ball problem." Pinkie Pie looked up and smiled widely. "Really!?" She caught Spike in a bone crushing hug. "Oh thank you!"

After the party mare let go of him, Spike entered Sugarcube Corner and gazed around the room and noticed the crstal ball Pinkie mentioned sitting on the floor in the corner.

Whisper flew over and took a closer look. "Hmm.... hey Spike, try shining the lens on this crystal ball." Spike did so, landing the spotlight on it, revealing a small figure under it. The revealed the Yo-Kai's true form, a small green dragon with a crystal ball on it's head and wearing a bib with a swirl on it.

"Is that another baby dragon?" Spike asked excitedly, before Whisper spoke up. "Not quite. It's a Yo-kai called Draggie from the Slippery tribe, and the ball on it's head is said to tell the future." Spike tore his gaze away from the dragon Yo-Kai and noticed Whisper holding the Yo-Kai pad from yesterday.

Looking over Whispers shoulder, he noticed he was looking at a page that read. "The Yo-Kai wiki? Isn't that cheating?" Spike questioned suspiciously.

"What!? No, it's just for reference!" Whisper said attempting to defend himself. "Right...." Spike said unconvinced.

"Anyway, we're not talking about me, we're talking about Draggie. Go and wake him up and talk to him, you might get his story." Spike nodded before approaching the sleeping Yo-Kai and gently shaking it.

"Excuse me, Draggie? Could you get up so I can talk to you?" Spike asked a little loud.

The dragon Yo-Kai yawned and fluttered his eyes open. "Yaaawn.... that was a great nap. I was worried falling asleep in the Everfree Forest would get.... me.... in.... trouble? Draggie's voice trailed off as he finally noticed his surroundings. Taking a whiff of the air, he briefly savored the smell of sweet cupcakes and cookies.

"Whoa.... what is this place and what's that amazing smell?" Draggie asked, mouth now full of saliva.

"Um.... excuse me?" A young voice similar to his spoke up, causing him to turn in the direction of the voice. He soon came face to face with another dragon who close to his age when he died and a ghost like Yo-Kai floating near him.

"Uh.... hi?" The dragon sheepishly greeted. Realizing the dragon was able to see him, Draggie took it as quite a shock.

"Ahhhh! Can you actually see me!? How's that even possible!?" Draggie questioned. "Whoa! Calm down and I'll explain as best as I can." Hearing this calmed the young Yo-Kai and he settled down. "Okay, first question then. Who are you exactly? I've never seen another dragon besides my family and the one's in my neighborhood." He asked with genuine curiosity.

"We'll that's an easy one. It's nice to meet you Draggie, my name is Spike." The dragon answered with a smile on his face. "Nice to meet you to Spike, but how did you know my name?" The Yo-Kai answered with a follow up question. "Oh that would be because of my friend Whisper here, he looked it up on his Yo-Kai Pad." Whisper responded to this rather angrily. "I did not! It was just for reference!"

Something told Draggie that Whisper was just trying to cover up that didn't know anything and Spike knew it too. Both looked to each other and nodded in agreement to the unspoken thought that was both in their minds, before continuing with the conversation.

"So can you tell me where I am exactly?" Draggie asked wanting to know what's going on. "Well, your in the small town known as Ponyville, just outside the Everfree Forest, and the building we're in right now is a cake shop called Sugarcube Corner." Spike informed him. "Okay, but how did I get here? You just said the town is outside the Everfree forest." He questioned further.

"Well my friend Pinkie Pie." He pointed to the pink mare outside the window running around. "Found a crystal ball in the forest and I'm gonna take a guess that crystal ball was you." Draggie nodded in understanding. "Yeah, I guess that a makes sense, but why is she running around like that?" He asked. "She kept ranting something about a moving crystal ball she found." Spike answerd

"So what were you doing napping in the Everfree Forest anyway? It's not exactly the safest place in Equestria." Spike questioned.

Draggie sighed sadly at this before starting. "Alright, you see when I was alive I was the same age as you. I was ordinary baby dragon just like you. You see, my name is Draggie now, but back then I had another name...." Draggie muttered.

"Well don't leave us hanging." Whisper stated not liking the suspense. Draggie suddenly flashed a cocky grin. "It was perfectly suited for my awesome personality!" Draggie stated proudly. "And that name is?" Whisper pushed further. "I forgot!" Draggie stated in a oddly cheery tone. "You forgot your own name!?" Spike shouted in shock.

Draggie nodded before continuing. "It started when our home in the Kingdom of Draconia, was raided and my brother's egg was stolen in the process. I heard rumors that Princess Celestia had confiscated a dragon egg from a black market salespony. Even though my parents forbid it, I went to Canterlot anyway. I was near the castle when a sudden explosion occurred and I saw a pink mare about to be crushed by a falling piece of a castle tower...."

"I tried to save her by pushing her out of the way and tried to escape myself, but I was too late on the second part...., there was no pain whatsoever and the next thing I know, I was Yo-Kai." The dragon down sadly as he finished, with his audience gaining sympathetic looks on their faces, especially for Spike. This dragon who was around his age and had his life taken away from him just like that.

"Wow, that sounds awful, but what happened after that?" He asked.

Draggie sighed and continued "Ever since that day, I still been searching for my brother and I have been training myself into fighting machine in order help him if he was ever in trouble. But I don't have anywhere to stay, and that's why I was in the forest."

Draggie sighed sadly. "Even then, it's been eight years and I still haven't found my brother I don't even know if that filly I tried to save was alright, maybe I'm just useless..."

"Are you kidding!? You aren't useless Draggie!" Spike suddenly shouted catching Whisper and Draggie by surprise. "Bu....but." Draggie attempted to object but was quickly interrupted. "Look Draggie, you been searching for your brother for twelve years and you tried to save someponies life and you even been training yourself, and I hardly call that useless, and I can see your are very kind dragon too."

He got closer to Draggie. "As for that not living anywhere problem, how about you just come stay with me at the castle?" He suggested, much to the Yo-Kai's surprise.

"Re... really!?" Draggie exclaimed stuttering. Spike smiled. "Yeah! There's a lot of room and I doubt you would take up much space."

"Thank you!" Draggie exclaimed, giving Spike a firm hug. Spike smiled warmly at this and returned the hug. A blue light suddenly enveloped Draggie as he and Spike untangled themselves.

The blue light formed a small medal with a picture of Draggie on one side and a backwards S on the other. The medal floated gently into Spike's hand. "What is this thing?" Spike asked curiously as he examined the medal. "It's a Yo-Kai medal! It symbolizes the bond and friendship between you and a Yo-Kai!" Whisper explained excitedly.

"We're friends now Spike! And I'll be there whenever you need me!" Draggie shouted as he was about to head out the door but stopped before looking back at Spike. "Where's this castle anyway?" Spike answered. "Just head down the street and turn left, you'll know it when you see it!" Spike shouted as Draggie ran in the he him, with Draggie thanking him as he disappeared around the corner.

"You can relax now Pinkie, the crystal ball is gone now, so you can stop panicking!" Spike shouted at the still panicking mare. She calmed before looking in Spike's direction. "Oh thank you Spike! I was so freaked out I didn't know what to do!" Spike rolled his eyes at his friends antics.

He bid farewell to Pinkie Pie and he and Whisper were on their way to the intersection once more.

The pair arrived at the intersection several minutes later.

"This has to be the intersection where all the near misses are occurring." Spike stated. "It must be, I'm sensing the presence of a Yo-Kai here. Try shining the Yo-Kai lens around to find the one responsible." Whisper instructed.

Spike nodded and began shining the light the light around the area. "Hmm, I'm not seeing anything yet."

"Keep searching, the Yo-Kai won't be seen unless it is hit directly by the light." Whisper informed.

Spike continued until the light finally spotted a small but menacing looking silluette across the street from where he was standing.

"There it is! That's got to be vile monster responsible!" Whisper shouted in fear. The Yo-Kai started to growl fiercely, causing the duo to back away in fear.

The creature suddenly started meowing and it's full form finally revealed.... an adorable looking cat Yo-kai with yellow sash like belt and had two tails with two light blue flames on the end of both of them? The Yo-Kai did a back flip and yelled. "Jibanyan!"

"Uh...." Spike and Whisper muttered dumbfounded. The Yo-Kai yawned before scratching itself and laying down to nap.

"That's the vile monster?" Spike sarcastically questioned. "Uh... yes, his name is Jibanyan of the Charming tribe." Whisper informed, doing a very poor job at hiding the fact that he was looking it up on his Yo-Kai Pad.

A stallion walked up next to Jibanyan, gaining the attention of cat Yo-Kai, who then proceeded to posses the stallion. "Meow!" The inspirited stallion yelled out loud.

"What's going on!?" Spike asked panicking. "He's been inspirited!" Whisper informed also panicked.

The inspired began walking out in the middle of the crosswalk, meowing all the way, into the path of a fast approaching wagon. "Look out!" Spike called out. At the last moment, Jibanyan jumped out the stallions body and faced the approaching wagon, yelling. "Take this stupid wagon! Prepare to taste my Paws of Fury!" He followed by sending multiple punches at the wagon... only to get launched into the sky by the wagon.

The stallion pulling the wagon barely managed to stop himself from the other one. "You idiot!" He yelled angrily at the confused pony. "My legs moved on their own!" The stallion shouted back.

Meanwhile, Spike sighed in relief. "Whew.... that was too close for comfort." He muttered. "Agreed, and it seems that Jibanyan has been responsible for all these near misses by possessing ponies and walking into traffic." Whisper summarized. "Is there a way to get him to stop though?" Spike questioned. "Remember, negotiation or confrontation." Whisper reminded him.

Right at that moment, Jibanyan came crashing down into the ground next them. Picking himself up like it was nothing, he began to walk away before realizing he wasn't alone and looked back behind noticing Spike and Whisper looking. "Meow?" He said curiously.

"Meow to you." Spike greeted.

"Meow!" Jibanyan shouted in surprise. "Can you guys actually see me!?" Spike stared at him for a second. "Uh... kinda..." Jibanyan shouted in surprise again. "How is that possible!? Do you know little Amy!?" Spike looked at him confused. "Wait, who's Amy?"

"Nyo Nyo nyo! I'm not ready nyet!" Jibanyan shouted in panic. "Calm down! If you have any problems, then you can take them up with this guy!" He punctuated, pointing his finger at Spike.

"Wait, what!?" Spike objected before flew up to his ear fin. "We got to stop these near misses somehow right?" Spike sighed resignation. "Right.... so Jibanyan, can you please tell us why your inspiriting the ponies that come here?" He asked politely.

Jibanyan pondered for a minute before saying. "Sure, if...."

"If what?" Both Spike and Whisper asked.

"If you or somepony else can beat in a quick match!" He proclaimed. Spike stood there in shock. "But.... but I don't know how to fight!" He stated. Whisper then said. "Well then, why don't you summon your friend Draggie?" Whisper suggested to Spike's confusion. "But how? He has to be at the castle by now and I can't just run all the way over and come back." Spike pointed out.

"That's what the Yo-Kai medal is for. Just insert into the Yo-Kai Watch and it will bring Draggie here in an instant." Whisper explained to the confused dragon. "Really? Huh, that's handy." He said as he looked down at the Yo-Kai Watch and noticed an opening in the watch when the bubble opened.

Pressing the button and opening the watch as well as taking out Draggie's Yo-Kai medal, he breathed in and out, prepared for his first summoning.

"Come on out my friend!" He shouted as he tossed the medal into the air.

"Calling, Draggie!" And in one swift motion, he caught the medal and inserted it into the watch.

"Yo-kai medal, do your thing!" He shouted as a voice called. "Summoning, Slippery!" A bright light blue swirling vortex emerged from the watch and revealed a familiar silluette dancing to a tune.

"Trippery! Gippery! Slimey whimey do, Slippery!" A funny tune played as Draggie danced to it and finished by striking out a pose. Draggie!

"Hiya Spike! You called?" Draggie greeted him happily. "Yeah, you see, Jibanyan here said he won't tell us why he inspirits the ponies that cross this intersection unless we beat him in a quick match." Spike informed him.

Nodding In understanding, Draggie walked over to Jibanyan. "Alright Jibanyan, I Draggie, shall challenge you!" He proclaimed. Jibanyan smiled. "Alright, about time too! Let's do this!" He shouted starting the match.

Draggie was very fast however, and delivered a very powerful punch that accidently launched Jibanyan into the path of a speeding wagon, and launched the cat into the air.

"Oh crud! I didn't mean for that to happen!" Draggie exclaimed in a apologetic tone. Jibanyan landed right beside the trio and sat down crying.

"I'm so sorry Jibanyan! I don't know my own strength!" Draggie said apologizing. Jibanyan simply looked up at him before saying. "That's not why I'm crying Draggie." Spike then spoke up. "Why are you crying then? Please we'll understand." He finished with a reassuring smile.

Jibanyan simply sighed. "Well, I do owe you an explanation for defeating me."

Jibanyan started. "When I was alive, my owner Amy took care of me and loved me. My name is Jibanyan now, but back then I had another nyame." Spike pondered for second. "I bet you don't remember it like Draggie here." He correctly stated.

Jibanyan nodded before continuing. "We used to do everything together. We slept on the bed, on the couch, under the table, I was so happy back then." Spike stared at him. "But all you did was sleep...." Draggie picked up on this. "Well he is a cat."

"But then one day...." He continued. "I walked down this crosswalk when a wagon came and ran me over. There wasn't any pain, and then I became a Yo-Kai. And that's when heard Amy say...."

I can't believe you let yourself get hit by a wagon.... 3.... 2.... 1.... You lame cat.

Rewind《《《 3.... 2.... 1.... lame cat.... lame cat.... lame cat....

"Ahhhhh!" The three all screamed at once. "What a heartless monster!" Whisper shouted. "No! No she isn't! Amy must have had a good reason to say that...." Whisper sighed. "That seems highly unlikely."

"Well one thing I know for sure, Amy wouldn't have said that if I didn't get hit by a wagon! That's why I train myself everyday to become a cat who can beat any wagon out there! That's why I inspirite ponies, so I don't feel afraid by doing it alone! I'm sorry to be such a trouble maker..... I'll just be alone forever!" He ended crying.

Spike said nothing before walking over to Jibanyan and giving him a warm smile. "Say, Jibanyan, if it makes you feel better then you can inspirit me to help you train." He offered calmly. Jibanyan was shocked by this. "Are you for real!?" He asked.

Spike nodded affirmatively. "Of course! Look at you! You trying to beat up speeding wagons just to impress somepony you love. I could never do something like that. So what do you say? You wanna become friends?" He asked.

Jibanyan, with his tears flowing freely, nodder excitedly. "Yes! I love to be friends with you Spike!" He exclaimed happily as a light blue light enveloped him just as it did to Draggie earlier, revealing a Yo-Kai medal with a picture of Jibanyan on one side and a heart on the other.

"Wow! Two Yo-Kai medals in one day! Great job Spike!" Whisper said congratulating him.

"Well, I better get back to my training, but call me anytime!" Jibanyan shouted as he returned to his spot across the street. "And I promise not to inspirit anymore ponies from now on!"

"Okay, see you later Jibanyan!" They all shouted back before departing back for the castle. "Hey Draggie, were you at the castle when I called you?" Spike asked.

"I was actually getting my stuff I left back in the Everfree Forest and I was unpacking when you called me." He informed them.

Spike noticed a package at the doorstep of the castle. "Huh, I wonder what this is?" He opened the package and found a note that read. "Forgot to give this to you on the way out yesterday. From Happiere." Spike lifted the note and noticed two Yo-Kai medals with pictures of Happiere and Dismerelda on them. "Wow, looks like you made four friends in a span of two and half days!" Whisper complemented.

Spike looked at the Yo-Kai around him and thought to himself. "Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

It's Recap Time!

"Hey Spike! Why don't you tell everypony which Yo-Kai you met today?" Whisper asked

"Let's see." Spike pondered

Dismerelda, Happiere, and Draggie!" He listed.

"Anyone else?"

"That would be me! Jibanyan of the Charming tribe! I'm super cool and.... "gets hit by a wagon."

"Somewhat weak too...." Spike dryly

"I would agree Spike...." Whisper muttered
