Chapter 1- A Quest Called Love

"And then You walked in!" Rainbow finished explaining. Twilight and Sunset's mouths were open, showing a perfect view of thier uvula.

"I'm utterly speechless," Sunset uttered. "How did you know I was a lesbian?" Rainbow's mouth twisted into a confused frown.

"A what?" Sunset blinked once before a wave of understanding came over her.

"That's the term for a fillyfooler where I lived for about twelve years give or take a few." Sunset put her hoof on her horn, making sure this wasn't a glorious dream.

"Oh. Well, we were gonna just explain to Twilight, but you walked in so you had to hear it too." Rainbow's left wing rubbed the back of her head.

"Well, to be fair it was all fun and games.... Heh he heh...." Rarity trailed off awkwardly.

"I'll be right there Spike!" Rarity bolted away. Twilight turned to Applejack.

"So," Twilight said, "when were you planning on coming out? I was honestly going to tell you guys yesterday when Spike helped me come to terms that I liked mares, but I was helping Starlight Glimmer move in-"

"STARRY'S LIVING HERE! I'M SO HAPPY!" Pinkie cheered. "STARLIGHT! I'M COMING FOR YOU! DO YOU WANT ANY CAKE!" Pinkie bounced out of the room to find the ex evil overlord of a brainwashed town.

Twilight coughed before picking up where she left off. "-so I didn't. Does your family know?"

"Uh, Bloom an' Mac know. Granny's out in Appleloosa so Ah couldn't tell her when Ah told mah siblin's." Applejack pulled her hat down.

"Ah don't wanna date ya, in all honestly, Ah wanted ta ask Cloudchaser on a date. Maybe we could go on a plate? A plat? A tonic? A platonic? A platonic date?" Applejack pulled her hat down a little.

"I would love to Applejack." Twilight said as AJ left.

"Now Rainbow," Twilight's voice took on a sweet slamming tone. "What was that crack about Sunset and I about?"

"Heh heh.... Oh crap! I have a meeting with Stormbrewer! Bye Twi!" Rainbow, not caring about damage, broke through Twilight's closed window on her right, showering Fluttershy in glass shards, each narrowly missing the shy mare.

"Fluttershy!" Sunset Shimmer cried, rushing over to said mare. "Are you alright?!"

"Yes," Fluttershy said weakly. "None hit me."

"Spike! I need you to take Fluttershy to the castle's infirmary. Get Starlight Glimmer please and shoo away Pinkie!" Twilight called. A muffled 'yes' was heard before Spike arrived in the doorway.

"Fluttershy check!" Spike cooped Fluttershy in his arms. "Wow! She weights barely nothing!" Spike carried Fluttershy away.

"Twilight, I'm here!" Starlight's mane was frazzled, but she was smiling nonetheless.

"Watch the glass, I know you have sensitive hooves," Twilight said. Sunset pouted a little as Starlight looked down.

"Oh! I didn't notice! Silly me!" Starlight giggled. Her giggle sounded like an evil giggle if they existed, but villains don't giggle.

"Oh!" Twilight laughed in return. "Well, I called you here to teach you something about my friends if you want to live here." Twilight's hoof pointed to the broken window.

"Rainbow Dash breaks my windows about two times every week. I spend about three million on replacements a year with my princess discount on it." Twilight smiled before continuing.

"Before I became a princess, it cost five million bits per year to replace my windows." Twilight looked at Starlight as she made a magic jaw and dropped it to the floor. Sunset just chortled and shook her head, and whipped her majestic mane about.

"In the human world, Rainbow ruined lawns not windows." Sunset grinned. "Girl was always too wild...."

"Well, I hope she was never thrown in jail," Starlight said. Sunset's smile grew wider.

"She was thrown in jail. The track team and my friends and I had to chip in to pay her bail. She still owes me five hundred bucks." Sunset said. Starlight made an 'oh' with her mouth.

"Well, Starlight, that's all I wanted to talk to you about. Bye!" Twilight said perkily.

"Sunset, can you help me clean up this glass?"

"Sure thing Twi!"

Many ponies were wondering how Applejack managed to climb onto one of Twilight's castle's low branches.

Applejack herself was wondering if the two ponies she need right now were close.

Applejack was watching the sky, waiting for two streaks. One was Rainbow's sky streak, the other a purple, ice blue, and white streak, know as Cloudchaser's.

"Ah hope this goes right," Applejack said to nopony in peticular. Soon, Cloudchaser's streak shone against the sky, busting clouds.

"Here goes nothin," Applejack took a deep breath.

"CLOUDCHASER?! YA GOT A MINUTE?!" Applejack yelled. Cloudchaser rapidly decended, landing next to the orange mare.

"Yes Applejack?" Cloudchaser cocked her head staring into Applejack's emeralds with her purple mountains majesty colored eyes.

"Ah'm a fillyfooler." Applejack expected the pegasus mare to fly off then and there, but she didn't. She stayed. Applejack shook off the shock and pressed on.

"So Ah was wonderin'...... Would ya like to go an a date with me?" Applejack was expecting to hear a no, put a pair of lips pressed against her own.

"I would love to, Applejack. How about Friday a Eight O' Clock?" Cloudchaser said as they broke the kiss. Applejack only mumbled yes and stared dumbly away.

"Ah'd say it's a date Cloudchaser! Bye!" Applejack said as she snapped out of her daze. Cloudchaser had starting flying away.

Applejack hoped it would work out.

Cloudchaser was an amazing kisser.

Sunset Shimmer say alone on her firey colored canopy bed. She was thinking. Thinking about life.

About light.

About love.

About Twilight for Celestia's plot plug!

Sunset groaned as she levitated her glass of water and pitcher to her. Twilight was in her mind. Sunset knew she held an attraction toward the young princess. She didn't know why.

Why did Twilight and Starlight earlier made her jealous a little?

Sunset knew it was love. She loved Twilight Stella Sparkle. She needed Twilight. It was like if Sunset hadn't met Twilight, she wouldn't be living a full life.

Twilight lives forever now, Sunset. You'll die, leaving Twilight alone. This isn't good. Deattach from her! Stat way from Twilight!

"Hard when you live with her, huh?" a voice said from the doorway. There stood Spike, in all of his baby dragon glory.

"I know you love Twilight. I know you know that Twilight will live forever while you die. Just-" Spike paused before continuing.

"Just be yourself and follow your heart, 'Kay?" Sunset nodded. Spike gave her a thumbs up.

"Good luck Sunset. Twilight deserves you." Sunset was speechless. Spike was wise beyond his years.

"Thank you Spike." Sunset said before sleep overtook her.

Now she needed to find out who were those two ponies kissing on the branch near her window was.....
