A love story: Schneekos

by CreepyPastaPrincessLuna

Chapter 1

I trotted up and down the hall about a million times by her dorm room at Beacon. I overheard all the nonsense between Pyrrha and Jaune like the “I’ve never been treated like a human being before” and the “you are the only person I could ever get close to” kind of crap. I know the truth, Pyrrha, and you know it, too. I can’t blame her, especially since I’m doing the same thing to Neptune. Well, at least he knows since he’s with Sun. God forbid I tell Blake!

Should I do it? No, I shouldn’t! After all, she’d probably be like the rest of the family. She’d probably think the “it’s not natural” and “it’s a sin” load of crap. I think they try and intimate me by saying people like that go to hell because god doesn’t approve. I also don’t think they realize that’s like telling me their imaginary friend is offended and won’t offer me a ride on its magical dragon that poops out sprinkles and smiles with a little glitter.

Pyrrha’s horn illuminated with an emerald shimmer to turn the door knob and exit out into the hallway. She sighed, “God, it’s hard keeping up the bullshit act with Jaune! How long will it be before he gets it?”

“Only god knows, Pyrrha,” I retorted.

“Funny… You’re the one that doesn’t even believe in god.”

“At least we can slightly understand that aura isn’t some random, magical phenomenon, but a god? Ha! Don’t make me laugh!”

“Hell, I can’t blame you. The one true word got so skewed from its original texts, it’s not even funny! But, enough about that, I’ve been hearing those hooves nonstop up and down the hallway. Care to talk about?” Pyrrha asked.

I stuttered but still managed to spit out, “W-well, my sister, whom I love so dearly, is planning on visiting Vale. I thought that… well… this would be the opportune time to tell her about… well… you know…” then I whispered, “us.”

Pyrrha blushed and scratched the back of her neck with her forehoof and said, “Do you really think that’d be… ya know… a good idea?”
“I don’t know,” I told her, “I-I just want her to know, you know. She just… well… I can’t hide it from her any longer. It feels like I’m breaking every bond of trust I’ve ever had with Winter. She might understand, or…”

“Or?” Pyrrha prodded.

“Or she might not. Ugh! What should I do? It feels like damned if I do damned if I don’t!”

Ruby opened the door and said, “Hey guys! What ‘cha talking ‘bout?”

“None of your business! Now go away,” I snarled.

“I think this conversation is just about over anyway, Ruby,” Pyrrha said, “Do as you wish, but please make no mention of my name,” she said walking down the hall.

“If I do, I won’t,” I said catching up to her. We rounded a corner and headed down the stairs. I stopped her. I wanted to say something, but I just smiled and kissed on the cheek, which she embraced. She kissed me on the lips in return and bid me adieu. God, I love that mare! My wings burst upwards and remained erect for a minute or so before heading back to my dorm.

My horn lit up and filled the dim hallway with my icy-blue aura manifestation I had created to only open the door. Ruby was lying on her stomach looking upset and sad. I don’t really give a damn about that. Blake was using her horn to light up the room more to read since a few circuits got fried causing the dormitory to be bleak and dim. Yang was napping before I closed the door.

“Sup, Weiss?” she said.

“What do you want, Yang,” I was more than annoyed at that point.

“I just wanna know what’s up!”

I sighed and pulled Yang out into the hall by gesturing her with my hoof. My horn illuminated, and our silhouettes danced as a jerked my head while exiting the dorm room. “I’m still having doubts.” I swear that I almost pouted and came close to letting out a slight whimper. Yang knew about me and Pyrrha for quite some time which is fine. Sun, Blake, Neptune, and Yang have this date trade thing to hide their relationships which is fine by me. I was running around on Neptune, too which was more than convenient for me.

“About what?” Yang asked.

“I was thinking about telling my sister,” I said. She gave me this obnoxious look which irritated me to no end. She looked so dumbfounded and stupid. “I meant coming out, you damn dunce!”

“Oh,” Yang let out now able to fully understand what I meant. Yang hadn’t exactly come out to Ruby or anybody yet. This is going to fun, well, listening to Yang’s bull and all. “I guess… I mean, I know it’s hard and all… uh… I’d say… sst… I’d say that you know Winter best and… Whatever you decide to do, you know I got your back 100% of the way, regardless.”

Exactly what I thought she’d say! “Mmm… Alright fine,” I said. Thanks for not helping, loser! I knew Yang wasn’t going to give me the answer. Why doesn’t anybody, ever, like have the goddamn answer? That was more than frustrating and nerve-wracking.

I returned to trotting up and down the halls like a complete buffoon until I felt something in my stomach. I must have looked like a complete idiot, stopping in the middle of the hall with the dumbest look on my face ever. I sat down, not even worried of about how dirty the floor was, and placed my hoof where I had felt it. I was more than perplexed by this, but before I could figure it out, it happened again, this time in a different spot. I watched as I even saw my stomach extend slightly outwards in complete horror.

Did the spell work? It’s been months, and I’ve taken a few tests since then, all of which came back negative every time. I speed trotted back to the dorm and grabbed another test to take. Maybe it was my imagination. Maybe I was having stress-induced hallucinations. Maybe that’s just it. Maybe.

I made my way down the hall placing the test between my plot and tail and walked down the hall. I locked the stall behind me and took the test yet again. Afterwards I placed the test back under my tail and made my way back to the dorm where I stayed the rest of the night. I slid the test, discretely, and lay on my bed for the night as Team SSSN was clearly pumped for the day ahead. It would be their time to shine in the Vytal Tournament.

I was lying on my stomach with all four of my legs under me and placed my head on my pillow as I was feeling a bit queasy. It has been happening quite a bit in on/off periods. I peeked at the pregnancy test periodically. I waited, and waited, and waited for those results to come back, and to my surprise, it came back positive. Oh my god! I can’t believe this! It worked! It worked! Oh… god… it worked.
My heart went from wanting to burst out of my chest to sinking to my stomach in two seconds flat. I’m… pregnant. I can’t believe I’m pregnant. I’m more than overjoyed, nut I’m also petrified. I went over to Team JNPR’s dorm and knocked on the door. Pyrrha greeted me all sweaty and exhausted. I told her, “Pyrrha, we need to talk.”

She stepped out into the hallway and said, “About what?”

“Remember that spell I managed to create a few months back? You know the pregnancy one?”

“Yes, I remember.”

I quickly grabbed the pregnancy test and showed it to Pyrrha. “Here,” I said. At first she was shocked but then her face filled with elation. “My family will kill me,” I said before she could open her mouth. I must’ve been a few months along at least.
Pyrrha hopped up on my back, placing her forehooves on my shoulders, and gave me a kiss. My wings were about to burst upwards, but I manage to refrain, though my white face was completely red. She said, “They won’t have to know, now would they?”

“Well, no… but-“

“Your sister won’t stay long,” she stated nuzzling my cheek, “She won’t know. You’re not even showing!”

“Yes… well… but-“

“Weiss, babe, you have nothing to worry about.” She kissed my cheek and hugged me from behind. It felt nice actually. Not only that, but it was comforting. I smiled faintly as I was still unsure of all of this that was going on. I turned my head and rubbed my cheek against hers and moaned, faintly but audible. She knew I was still a little worried, but she kissed most of them away.

She got off my back and nuzzled my cheek a little and told not to worry, and everything was going to be okay. I smiled in reply, a little unsure but confident. I wished her a goodnight, gave her goodnight kiss, and hurried off to bed myself, still a little uneasy about everything.
I tossed and turned on my bed that whole night. I could barely fall asleep, let alone stay asleep. I placed my left forehoof over my stomach which provided a little of the best of both worlds: comfort and anxiety. Still, Pyrrha told me not to worry. Plus, I’m not even showing! Who’s to say she’d figure it out, right? Right!

My alarm went off the next morning, and I almost smashed my scroll in an attempt to turn it off. I was more than groggy and irritable at that point, and I know that my team could tell. Ruby was peppy and full of energy as usual. I just learned to ignore her and grabbed my toiletries and uniform and headed off to the restrooms, only to be greeted to a load of green goo flying into my face. My magic sent all the goo off my face and everywhere else. “What the hell!” I screamed.

Of course it was Nora who was horsing around in the bathroom. This time, my red face was full of rage. Pyrrha threw her foreleg over my shoulder and nuzzled me a little before whispering into my ear. My god, her voice sounds like heaven in its purest state. “Pay no mind to her, kay?” She lightly pecked me on the cheek, so it wasn’t noticeable.

I blushed so much. My red face of rage turned much softer, as if in a trance of love. My wings flew upward, so I quickly snapped out of it and brought them down, hoping nopony saw my wing erection to begin with. Well, I hope it wasn’t anypony but Pyrrha. I made haste with dressing and grooming, though I did want to make myself look more than presentable. I finally get to see Winter after all this time, and I can hardly wait!

I hope she saw that my team was victorious, and that I, Weiss Schnee, will be advancing to the next round. Pyrrha trotted right beside me as we both went down for breakfast. We wrapped out tails around each other’s instead of holding forehooves. It seemed a little more discrete that way, but it was our special way of showing out affection for one another. Sometimes, when nopony was looking, I would throw my wing around and nuzzle her on the cheek from time to time, which I briefly did before making it to the stairwell.

Breakfast wasn’t long, though. Everypony was so pumped the match between Team SSSN of Beacon and Team NDGO of Shade. Classes blew by in quick haste for the afternoon’s events during the tournament as planned for the first time in, like, ever. I was watching the battle, but I wasn’t as engrossed in it as everypony else was. I was too busy looking at the sky and thinking of ways to say, “Hi sister! I’m gay and fuck this really hot girl I can’t mention because of stuff and other things!” Ya, that’d go over swimmingly.

I have to admit, though, the battle had a shocking end. At least I keep my horrible puns to myself, unlike Yang who loves to spit them out as she goes along with her sucky pun life. When I saw the airship, I squealed so loudly internally, I jumped out of my seat and ran out of the stadium.

I immediately ran towards her with Ruby nagging me the whole way. “Winter!” I called out to her.
She turned around and acknowledged me. It was like one of those moments where senpai notices you. She greeted me as usual, all prim and proper like how she was raised to. She let her callous side come out when interrogating about diet, life, and all that nonsense. There’s nothing new there, but that is Winter. “Winter! I’m so happy to see you! Oh… Your presence honors us.”

“Beacon,” she said, “it’s been a long time. The air feels… different.” Uh, different? How? Ugh, I know, I know, or at least I should have.

Ruby said, “I mean it is fall, so, eh, it’s probably colder.” Oh my god, bitch, shut up! Don’t make a total fool of yourself, moron!

I punched her before saying, “What are you doing here?”

I was met with a callous, “Classified.”

“Oh… right…. Well, how long are you staying?”

Again, I was met with a callous, “Classified.”

That was when she started hounding me about my classes, my friends, my life and blah, blah, blah. I was going to take her to our dorm and tell her, but this crazy prick attacked her robot guard. They fought. Even the drunk bozo fought well, but I was robbed of a chance to tell her! I just want to wait for the right time and place before I even come close to telling her about me and Pyrrha.

She ultimately went to do what she had to do with General Ironwood and Professor Ozpin, so I didn’t really have much time with her. She seemed way too worked up anyway from that Qrow prick anyways. She probably got scolded by her boss after this event, but I know Winter. She’ll hold herself together until the end and do what is needed of her.

The doubles round is starting soon, and Coco, Yatsuhashi, Mercury, and Emerald all made their way down to the field. Mercury and Emerald both hid in the tall grass, but Coco mowed it all down with her machine gun. To everypony’s surprise, they weren’t even there. Mercury came practically out of nowhere and nearly beat the crap out of Coco and Yatsuhashi. Coco went flying back into the forest while Yatsu and Mercury continued fighting.

Coco just seemed a bit… off. She was practically shooting at nothing but thin air while Yatsu was getting his ass handed to him. What the- ah, who cares. Emerald was sneaking up behind Coco. She told somepony to be careful because there was something. All I got was “Be careful…” and that was really it from where I was sitting. After realizing Yatsu was actually trashed, Coco seemed… paranoid. Emerald struck her once and sent her flying across the field finishing the match. I found that a bit quaint, but I paid no mind at the time.

After all was said and done, I decided to meet up with my sister for what was the last time. “Greetings sister,” Winter said while gesturing me to take a seat. It was a nice, fluorescent, secluded area. I wonder why she wanted to meet me here. Who cares! This is the perfect spot to tell her. I was going to speak but she said, “I must start packing again before I leave for Atlas tonight, but since I am here, I thought I’d see you one last time.”

“You’re… leaving?”

“Yes. I was merely needed to oversee the transport of additional units to Vale. Our last shipment was lost to an ambush. I believe you had a run in with its cargo actually. It’s fortunate those paladins were still in the prototype stage; otherwise, your team may not have fared so well. Weiss,” she placed her hoof over mine, “you’ve done… well… out here on your own. You should be proud. I’ll be honest; it was quite amusing seeing father’s face the day you left for Beacon.”

Oh, screw telling her. Now, here’s the opportune time to boast. “I can’t wait to show him what I’ve learned.” I know he’d be proud. I can’t wait to rub it in his stupid face once and for all. I don’t need him, not a damn thing.

“Oh? And what do you think you you’ve learned?”

Uh, wait… what? “What do you mean! I’m getting better and better with my glyphs! I’ve even started time dilation.” That’ll show her.
“And what about your summoning?”

Oh crap! I totally forgot about that. Oh fuck me! “I,” I sighed, “You know I can’t.” That’s it. I’m done. Way to go Winter for crushing me like always.

“Don’t be ridiculous. Every Schnee has the ability to summon. We have for generations.”

Oh, great, thanks for shoving that in my face! “I’ve tried! It’s just… It’s the one thing I’m having trouble with!”

“We Schnees are unique,” she stated. Oh great, it’s this story again! “Unlike many, our semblance is hereditary, but that doesn’t mean that it will come easily. Your semblance is like a muscle. The more you practice with it, the stronger it will become, but if you only focus on one aspect of it, if you fail to test the limits of what you think is possible,” she summoned a Beowulf, “then you’ll never truly grow.”

She had attempted to help me with my summoning, but, of course, my anger and frustration got the better of me yet again! She pestered me non-stop. Ya, I’d make a great receptionist, bitch! I can play the sarcasm card too, ass, but I choose not to. She tried, though. She can be a cold, tough bitch, but she tries to get me to become the better me she knows I could be. No matter how angry I get with her, I can’t remain mad forever, especially since she’s got my back, and she always has protected me and cared for me when mother and father refused to.
She gave me a monstrous hug before saying, “It’s time for me to go.”

“It was good to see you, Winter.”

“Until next time, sister.” When we began parting ways, I got this burning sensation to call out to her. No matter how much I tried, I could never hold myself back. My wings began to twitch and my lip began to quiver before I bit it to stop myself from calling her. I glanced back and forth between Winter and grass and back to Winter over and over.

Finally, the sensation drove me to utter madness. The fire burned all the way from my core to my eyes. I calmly called her, at least as much as I could. “Winter?” I said almost whimpering.

Her ears stiffened and she jumped slightly, almost startled. “Yes, sister?”

Choking back tears, I approached her putting my forhooves almost on top of hers. I looked her in the eye and said, “I have something else I need to talk to you about.”

Before she had more time to inquire about my current situation, a mare with long, ginger locks pounced on her. She had tremendous strength for a Pegasus. She grappled Winter tightly and swung her around in the air in a big hug, trapping her wings and arms entirely. She kissed Winter on the lips, a tiny peck, before Winter pushed the mare off of her completely livid.

“Uh, Winter… I… take it that she’s a…” I took a closer look and saw that she was Amber Ascent who was the heiress to another dust company. “How do you two know each other?”

“We don’t,” Winter scolded.

“Oh, god! Winter, honey, I am so, so, so sorry! I didn’t realize your sister was there. Oh!” she said looking over, “It looks like you fixed our spot up!”

Winter gave an OMFG-STFU look to her. “Wait… are you two…?”

Winter gave me a sharp and defensive, “No! We are not!”

A gave her a smirk, “Oh, you two are, aren’t you?”

Winter began sweating profusely, but she still gave me a piercing glare. “No, Weiss!” she spat out.

“I don’t care if you are…”

“We… Are… NOT!” she shouted. Her wings rose a bit and she leaned in closer to me.

“Well, sister,” I said putting my arm around her shoulders, “I really don’t care. I… actually I have a confession myself.” I sighed while wiping away my tears. “I… also have been in a relationship.”

“Oh?” she cocked a brow.

“With a mare myself,” I smirked.

“WHAT?” she screamed. It was clearly an act.

I pulled out my scroll and showed her a picture I took back in Atlas. “I told father that I saw you with some red-haired mare. I needed proof, though. I managed to take this picture of you while you were out with colleagues, but I got this picture outside a bar. I thought that you were a little drunk or something, so I dismissed it. I still couldn’t figure out who it was.” I showed her the picture. Amber was wearing a dark cloak. Both Winter and Amber exchanged kisses that night, so I didn’t think anything of it being that she was out.

Winter’s horn illuminated and her aura twinkled around the scroll, distorting the color of the image in faint hues of light blue. She sighed in defeat. “Alright,” she said, “we’ve been together. So what?”

“Nothing. I just wanted to…”

“Weiss!” Ruby called out gesturing her to come.

“I just wanted you to know.” I kissed her cheek before running off to meet with Ruby.
