"Hostage Situations at Saint Cloppels street" the magic text red. Chief Shield frowned "hostage situation but there wasn't meant to be one until at least two weeks in-" he cut himself off, realizing that the other pony officers were staring at him. "I,uh mean, hostage situations rarely happen, and usually if there's going to be on, it takes two to three weeks AT LEAST" he said quickly. This seemed to work, as the other PolicePonies shrugged and got out their weapons, for pegasi and earth ponies, swords, batons and a anti-Blizzard gun, for unicorns magic.
It took them a second to reach there. A young pony, dressed in black, was holding down both Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. Chief Shield strode forward. He could hear, Rarity, Apple Jack and Rainbow sigh with relief. In their eyes, he had stopped two robberies and at least four foalnappings, all paid to do so by him. Still this mare shouldn't b too hard. "Let them go" he commanded, puffing out his chest importantly "by order of Ponyville Police, you are under arrest. You have the right to remain silent."
The masked pony snickered "I know what you did Golden Shield" the masked pony, now identified as a mare,said. Officer Shield felt his blood run cold.
"I-I have no idea what your talking about" he stammered, flattening his ears.
The masked mare tilted her head "oh but I think you do. So" she gestured towards the now huge crowd "what better time than now to tell them." Shaking his head wildly, Chief Shield tried to back up, only to remember the huge crowd that was blocking his way. A split second later Chief Shield was on his stomach, with his hoof wrenched up by the mare. "Confess!" she hissed angrily, jerking the hoof up a few notches.
Panting with pain, Shield blurted "okay! Okay! I set up those crimes! I did it all! All of it!"
Rarity gasped "the foalnappings?" Chief Shield nodded.
"I paid two of my horses here to foalnap two foals so I could rescue them" he admitted
"The robbery at BonBons sweet shop?" questioned Rainbow Dash. Chief Shield looked down at the ground and sighed. Lyra had to hold back an angry BonBon.
"The other two break ins?" frowned Apple Jack.
"All me" confirmed Golden Shield "all of it."
The crowd parted to let the mayor through "I am horrified to what I am hearing. Chef Shield, you are stripped of your PolicePony duties and you and all the rest of The Ponyville Police are hereby banished from Ponyville."
Apple Jack turned to look back at Golden Shield "Pinkie Pie, you can leave him alone now, he confessed." Golden Shields assailant jumped off his back, and took off her mask, sure enough was Pinkie Pie.
The crowd gasped. "But how?" Mayor Mare murmured.
Rainbow shrugged "Pinkie Pie came to us two weeks ago, telling us about how Golden Shield had pushed Winona in front of a carriage before saving her, to get the glory. She wanted to expose him, but we needed proof. So we asked Scootaloo and Apple Bloom to pretend to be hostages and Pinkie Pie would make him confess. And it worked a charm" explained Rainbow Dash. Suddenley, Golden Shield began cackling, an evil, insane laugh.
"You think you can get rid of me that easily" he laughed "no, I will be back, and I will have my revenge!" With a loud roar, he sprung directly at Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, smashing their heads against the concrete ground, killing them both instantly.
Or at least he would of have, if not for at the last second The Silver Blizzard wove her away in front of Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, blocking them from the instant kill.
Sweetie Belle was flung backwards and hit her head multiple times. She staggered to her hooves, to find the end of the Anti- Blizzard gun pointed at her. Wincing in anticipation, she did the only thing she could think of, Sweetie Belle summoned a thunder cloud and zapped the gun out of Shields grip.
BAM! Golden Shield fell to the ground, spitting up blood with the loss of his two front teeth. Sweetie Belle bucked him once in the stomach, causing him to cough up more blood. She reared up above him, ready to inflict some REAL damage, when Pinkie Pie spoke up "stop it" she said with an authoritative voice.
It took a few minutes for Sweetie to regain her senses but when she did, she was instantly horrified. I was going to- No don't even think about it she told herself. I almost killed him, a small part of her brain whispered. But I didn't and that's what matters.
Pinkie Pie grabbed hold of Shield "don't worry, Blizzard, I'll take him to a place where he'll never lie or hurt anypony ever again."
Sweetie Belles horn sparked as it always did when she was curious then teleported out of there.The crowd quickly broke up, leaving just Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. They watched with interest at the sparks. Apple Bloom whispered "Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo nodded in amazement watching the light green sparks that they knew came out of their friends horn vanish.
