The Silver Blizzard went missing for two months. Many ponies were confused. Why save ponies but then a few weeks later, disappear? Only Rainbow Dash knew why. She knew The Silver Blizzard felt guilty for not coming when she called for help a second time, even though it was completely reasonable. It was Rainbow Dash's own fault, she knew it. She remembered when Scootaloo doubted her flying abilities and decided not to represent Ponyville in the Equestria games. It was eerily similar. Bandits and thieves were invading Ponyville once more.
It was a bright and sunny morning and Mayor Mare had decided to pull a town meeting just outside the town hall. Everypony in Ponyville was there, chatting and joking, but when she stepped onto the newly built stage, hush fell. "Thank you everypony for coming today" Mayor Mare said "we are here to discuss our biggest dilemma, The Silver Blizzard."
There was an immediate outcry, some believing that The Silver Blizzard was a problem that needed to be fixed while others believed that she was a hero, not a villain. Sweetie Belle stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. Mayor Mare cleared her throat. Hush fell once more. "Thank you. Know as I was saying, The Silver Blizzard has been helping Ponyville for three weeks, and I will commend her for that. However" she glanced at the crowd "I believe that Ponyville does not need her anymore. So I have permission from Celestia to set up The Ponyville Police!"
Everypony looked at each other before turning back to the stage with renewed interest. "They will reinforce the law" continued Mayor Mare, seeing as she had every bodies attention "stamp out thieves and robbers and kidnappers.We even have a few new laws" Sweetie Belle sat up straight.She was considering taking up her old..job as it were. This is good, she thought,imagining The Silver Blizzard and the police working together to fight crime. "One of those rules, is that The Silver Blizzard will be put in jail if found."
Pure silence spread over the clearing. Even Pinkie Pie was quiet, a cupcake she was eating halfway to her mouth stopped. Sweetie Belle nearly fell forward onto her face. "Now wait just a minute" objected Rainbow Dash, rising into the air.
Mayor Mare held up a hoof. "I know what your thinking but we need to be able to defend ourselves without The Silver Blizzard, and as mayor I hereby ban The Silver Blizzard. If anypony has any information on who she may be, please come forward." Rarity looked at Rainbow Dash out of the corner of her eye. Rainbow Dash knew The Silver Bizzard's eye color, but she wasn't speaking up. Should she?
On cue, Rainbow Dash looked at her and gave her the tiniest shake of her head,no. Rarity nodded and turned back to the now empty stage. A few seconds later, a lightly built stallion with a navy blue coat and a white and cyan mane stepped up onto the stage. "Hello there" he said, voice fast and lively "my name is Officer Shield or, Golden Shield as it where, and I'm captain of the Ponyville Police. I can promise you that I will do anything in my power to keep Ponyville safe from harm!"
Everyone clapped their hooves and wolf whistled. Officer Shield bowed then stepped down from the stage. Sweetie Belle sighed. It was going to be a long night.
