That night, Candy Burn and Fluttershy were nervously waiting for Twilight to finish her analysis on the tree. Candy Burn was starting to think of going to bed when Twilight stepped out of the room were she was conducting her experiments. Candy Burn and Fluttershy jumped up and started asking a ton of questions.

"Stop! I don't know the answers to any of those! Fluttershy, I need to talk to you, in private," Twilight said.

"Um, ok," Fluttershy said. They exited the room, and Twilight turned to Fluttershy.

"It would appear that the spell that brought Candy Burn to life had brought this tree to life. It even has a little bit of our DNA in it!" Twilight said.

"You checked for DNA?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah, I forgot to switch the thing that checks the DNA of. Anyway, I think that it also has, for a lack of a better word for it, 'activated' other inanimate objects and has brought them to life," Twilight said gravely.

"We have to warn the others!" Fluttershy yelled, then started blushing at how loud she had been.

"Yes, we will have to, but that might risk uncovering what Candy Burn really is!" Twilight said.

"Oh, yeah, that could be bad. But we still have to do something," Fluttershy said worriedly.

"Yeah, but it might be a risk we'll have to take. Who knows what was brought to life! It could literally be anything!" Twilight said.

"Um, are you guys ok?" Candy Burn asked. Twilight and Fluttershy turned around. Candy Burn was looking worried.

"Um, yes, why?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, there was a lot of yelling, and it sounded like something bad might be happening," Candy Burn said.

"Yeah, there might be," Twilight said.

"What? Are we going to die?" Candy Burn asked, started to look scared.

"No, we are not going to die," Fluttershy said.

"Actually, there is a chance that we wi- sorry, I'm not helping, am I?" Twilight asked when Fluttershy started glaring at her. Fluttershy shook her head, and looked back at Candy Burn.

"Don't worry, we're going to be ok," Fluttershy said. She heard Twilight mutter something, probably being about the chances of them being ok. Fluttershy ignored her.

"Twilight will probably figure something out, hopefully soon," Fluttershy continued.

"Ok, that's good," Candy Burn said. "Actually, how soon?" she asked Twilight.

"Can't say. Hopefully within the week, if not sooner. Now you should probably go to sleep. It's late, and you've had a long day, and we may have another long day tomorrow, ok?" Twilight asked.

"Ok, good idea," Candy Burn said. "Oh, where do I go? I don't know to much of this building."

"I'll take her to one of the guest rooms," Fluttershy said.
