The stallion raced up to Twilight. "I'm Nightlight!" He exclaimed. "What's your name!?" He asked in excitement about meeting a new pony.
"I-I'm Twilight and this is Spike." Twilight replied while gesturing toward both her and Spike.
"Uh, hello." Said Spike nervously.
"Hi! Very nice to meet you both!" Nightlight exclaimed!
"Likewise." Said Twilight.
"Can you excuse us for a second." Said Spike while pulling Twilight aside.
"Okie dokie!" Said Nightlight while flying around the room to look at the stuff in the library.
"What do want, Spike?" Asked Twilight.
"I'm not so sure about this guy." He replied.
"Why? He seems nice, he reminds me a lot of Pinkie." Twilight said while chuckling slightly. "He's got a fun, loud personality."
"I just get a bad feeling from him." Said Spike while looking towards Nightlight. "Plus, do we need another Pinkie. We already have one." He continued.
"What's wrong with having another one? Don't you remember Cheese Sandwich?" Asked Twilight. Spike just stared at Twilight for a good few seconds before responding. Spike looked over at Nightlight for a second before looking back at Twilight.
"Fair enough, but I'm still keeping an eye on him." Spike replied with a serious tone in his voice.
Nightlight continued to look around. Nightlight is a very curious and strange pony. He loves to meet new ponies. He loves to see new places and things. He especially loves throwing parties. He stopped looking around for a second because he heard a scream coming from the portal. The scream keeps getting louder and louder until another pony comes flying out of the portal. The pony rolls across the floor until coming to a complete stop in front of Twilight.
"Ow." Said the pony with a blank, expressionless face. Twilight looked at the white stallion with a red and black mane.
"Uh, are you ok?" Twilight asked the new stallion.
"Yes I'm fine. Thank you for your concern." He replied as he stands up. He looks at Twilight for a second. He begins looking around at the room.
Nightlight gasps as he sees the new stallion. "Shades!" He exclaimed while flying toward Shades. Shades then turns and notices that Nightlight is flying right at him at an unimaginable speed.
"Oh, dear celestia." He said with little to no expression in his voice. Nightlight tackles him from above, giving him a big hug.
"It's awesome knowing one of my closest friends is here in this new place with me!" He exclaimed in pure excitement.
"How many times do I have to tell you we're not friends." Shades said while struggling to escape Nightlight's grip. "Can you get off me now?" He asked.
Nightlight lets go of Shades with a huge smile on his face. Shades just has his normal expressionless face. "What have I told you about personal spa-" Shades is interupted by a faint screaming of excitement.
"Yaaaaahooooooo!" The scream continues to get louder as if it's getting closer. Suddenly a green pegasus stallion with a blue, curly mane shoots out of the portal and crashes into Twilight. "Hellooooooo." Said the new stallion. "I'm Twister, who are you?" He asked while his spin around in circles from the impact of the crash.
"I-I'm Twilight and that's Spike." Twilight said nervously while pointing toward Spike.
"Those are nice names." He said while smiling.
"Th-thank you." Said Twilight. Twister gets off of Twilight as she talks. He shakes his head around making his mane all messed up.
"There. That's better." He said.
Nightlight and Shades both just stare. Nightlight begins to open his mouth right before Shades puts his hoof over Nightlight's mouth. "One second." Said Shades as he pulls Nightlight aside.
"What? I just wanted to say hi." Said Nightlight.
"Just listen to me, Nightlight." Said Shades.
